you need the updated drivers on a number of new games, some simply don't start without it, and the performance is close enough that you don't see much difference(like 1-5fps avg afaik), in some cases the 750 go ahead just because of the architecture

no, but if you're trying to "convert" your installation from one version to the other theres some shared data that you can copy over to save some downloading.

if on pc there are some shared files, these folders that you can copy over. but you will need to at least let the launcher do its update and say launch before copying these files over

5. Restart your PC.

I have a question regarding smooth performance: I have Xiaomi Redmi Note pro 12 4g NFC 8gb Ram 256 gb storage (specs currently say 8+8 Ram since I offer 8gb of storage for extra RAM). HI3 is running fine enough in all content, except APHO2 where FPS drops significally (35 FPS but feels like 20). Should I be concerned about part2 having similar issues? My phone is currently running HI3 via graphics card (developer mode option) and running the game on performance mode via "game turbo app", which clearly helps.
Within phone settings and "game turbo app", is there anything I can do to increase fps performance?

Might be the operating system, not the hardware. a clean install of window might fix it. Dont keep the file or if u want to keep ur file, back it up to your second hdd/ssd/nvme.

if that does happen, another thing you can do is if you have a USB drive you can create a windows repair drive and reinstall windows during startup which might let it work since it would be a full reinstall and less of a repair

when the game don't start could be many thing, most of the time could be that you are missing files, or that those are corrupted

you can check if your AV delete a file by mistake, check if the drive dont have issues, etc.

hello first time using this channel idk how things go here but i have a problem with my honkai impact in general when it comes to updating/installing its stuck on 0% and wont download at all, tried deleting and installing but even the file download from the website has the same problem, i tried downloading it on epic games launcher and it worked but when i launched the game to update it its still stuck to 0% and i tried everything from repairing to checking files idk what to do anymore

usually stuff like that can be fixed by using a VPN, the 2nd pin has a good free one if you dont have one. but thats a connection issue 99% chance. even though your internet in general is fine its usually a connection issue with specifically honkai servers, stuff like that can happen a lot as a quirk with IIX internet traffic but 99% of the time it happens, its happening when you're accessing a webpage and it just takes an extra 5 seconds to load or something like that

another thing you can try is downloading one of the custom launchers in the first pin, like the betterhi3launcher and try the repair functions to download the game files outside of the game though that might still give you an infinite "checking for updates" glitch if the connection issue still persists. at the end of the day its your ISP thats the issue usually
