ah i see, you cant easily view the files themselves but the content its talking about is future story chapter stuff usually, its just more game files and you can delete them to save up space in the ai chan phone (in the bottom right of main menu) and then resources

I gotcha, so when i said "pretty quickly" i meant within half an hour. You pinged me saying that you bought it again and it went through. I was being agreeable and repeating what I had said earlier about how even though its not a business day its all automated so transactions either go through or not within about 30 minutes these days.
so to clarify, I meant that 99% of the time it will go through or not within half an hour with these automated systems, the 1% of the time (probaby less than 1% if im being honest) is within a few hours if its being slow. thats why I had said last time to wait a day because if it had not gone through by then then it was not going to go through.

the situation your worried about is very similar to if amazon for instance randomly purchased things that were sitting in your shopping card that you had not bought yet just because you went to checkout and then went back and didnt buy them. They arent going to take your money to buy things that are just sitting in your cart

try restarting your device and try again and if that doesnt help then let me know if you're on mobile or pc, it shouldnt take more than 30 minutes at MOST even on the slowest of devices, usually its closer to 5-15 minutes

probably because is not a "letter" this time, is the cg story at the middle of the main menu. After you read the story you get the rewards
probably missing assets "from the server", if a restart/repair assets dont fix it, most of the time is fix at the hr most events are released (like 10:00 server time) or next day

What are the buttons to click/fast-forward on dialogue and skip button?
I'm using dualsense controller when playing. Sometimes X is working on dialogues, sometimes it's not. Same with skip button, sometimes there's button I can click, sometimes there's not. I really wanna plug my iPad in a monitor or tv so I can enjoy this game in a bigger screen but the inconsistent button controls making me hesitate.
Afaik on IOS the controller only works "in-gameplay" so if a dialogue it's outside that part of the game the controller it's not going to work

i have the same issue, and asset repair both from launcher and in-game doesn't fix it either, i always get this result
after clicking OK, does the game not prompt you to redownload some resources?

now that you mention it, it doesn't, it just loads settings and continues on as normal

that could happen as the game doesn't really check if your CGs are corrupted/missing after downloading them once

i guess it doesn't check for item icons either
in the future, if you have any missing CGs, i'd recommend deleting the Version.txt located in the same CG folder so that it would re-download all of the CGs

Files from cache folder are temporary. Instead of manually fixing the error, you can try a third-party launcher from a first pin

Here is the download cache button. The launcher will check the cache. If it finds faulty cache files, it will only replace those.

Correct. This folder contains temporary game files. They will download again after the folder is deleted. If you're not sure, just rename the folder, and then the game will download the files again using the old path.

I clicked "check downloaded assets" on the login screen and that seems to have fixed it
apparently some of the downloaded assets were "broken" or something, and it deleted them

you can try clicking log in to another account and trying to change the password, it does say authentication failed. if you dont want to try that though then contact customer support
then yeah contact customer support, i guess you could try a different county on the VPN since japan sometimes has issues connecting to non JP servers but most likely gotta go to customer support

It's probably not linked to a hoyoverse account then, did you get an error message when trying the account retrieval button at the login page?

So if you want to use that specific hoyoverse account then yes contact customer support #how-to-contact-cs and explain your issue and that they need to delete the accidentally created account. Do NOT play on the new account, if it's past like the tutorial they can't delete it.
If you don't care about using that hoyoverse account then just make a new email and make a new hoyoverse account at account.hoyoverse.com and then do the account retrieval before logging into the game and you should be good to go
Though if you go with option 2 then make sure it says link successful and not an error message at the end of account retrieval

You can't really see exactly where you use crystals, but you can see the history of them on the self search option of support on Ai-phone (show crystals you got/use the last 30 days)

If those don't work, probably something is wrong on the drive where you are installing the game

I've run the launcher repair lots of times, it usually helps for about 5 minutes before the errors come back.

but the summary is that your connection to honkai servers goes through about 20 different companies/data centers on the journey from your house to their servers and somewhere along that line one of those places is unstable, giving you connection issues. your ISP continues to route you through that problem area because of a few possible reasons but a VPN basically routes you around that
its like a road detour because the way you've been trying to go has a bunch of pot holes so you're taking a detour to get a smoother ride

You can't delete one game account.
The delete option on the user center is to delete the HYV account, meaning you will delete everything link to it ( HI3 accounts, GI accounts, TOT...)
so change the linked email?
Yeah you can change it to use it to create a new one, but remember that because you are changing the HYV email, it will affect the NA account too

Hello everyone! i need help with a honkai impact account linking and unlinking.
Short story: i have an advanced genshin impact account and a honkai impact account both in different hoyoverse accounts. How can i reunite the games in a single hoyoverse account?
Long story: i have previously created a genshin impact and honkai impact account via google and some time later i linked the google account to a hoyoverse account. Recently, i decided to install honkai impact again but in an attempt to login i accidentally made a new honkai account that blocked my old one. In an urgent need to get my old honkai account info i linked it to a new dummy hoyoverse account. Later i contacted customer support and they unbind the accidental account but i was told they can't unlink the old honkai account because it was high level (it was lv 37 but its 39 now). I know how to manually link the honkai account back but i can't do it without unlinking it to the dummy hoyo account. What to do???
so unfortunately its impossible to merge hoyoverse accounts, customer support by policy wont unlink any account that you have access to and is past the tutorial (mostly cuz they cant unlink, they actually delete the hoyoverse account and copy the game data onto a new hoyoverse account so this action is only reserved for if your account was hacked or you cannot access the account becuase it was on like an old deleted student email or something like that)
so unfortunately you'll have to get used to using the two different accounts because there is no function to "unlink" and what customer support calls unlinking is actually either deleting a honkai game account that is still in the tutorial (the only time they're allowed to) or by deleting the hoyoverse account itself and binding all the different game data to a new hoyoverse account that you control
i'd recommend asking for a merging function in feedback surveys and stuff though because that would be a nice feature
oh i see... will deleting that dummy account will cause my honkai account to be deleted as well? the honkai account is still linked to my Google account and that Google account is still linked to my original hoyo account

yes, if you delete the secondary hoyoverse account it will delete your honkai account as far as i know and np, i wish they could merge because it would make things a lot nicer for a lot of people, and a lot nicer for account stealers too i guess which is probably why they havent done it yet

you cant unbind a game account from its linked hoyoverse account, all you can do is delete the hoyoverse account itself which deletes every games progress linked to it (like genshin and HSR for instance) if you're trying to do account retreival with your old honkai account and the error message you are getting is "the hoyoverse account you are trying to link to already has an account linked to it" then all you have to do is make a new hoyoverse account to link to. if your "accidental" honkai account is still in the tutorial you can ask customer support to delete it without deleting the whole hoyoverse account but they cant delete just that if its out of the tutorial #how-to-contact-cs

it might be that the game is running off of your intel UHD graphics instead of the nvidia one, does it drop to 8fps often?
it can not drop at all but sometimes it happens like every 10 minutes

that is sort of normal for laptops, but yeah yours doesnt have that option, mb it turns out its only for the 30 series rtx cards.
can you go to windows settings and then go to graphics settings (you can type "graphics" in the search bar) and in the graphics settings click browse and add bh3.exe (the default location is c:\program files\honkai impact 3rd\games) and then click bh3 and in options make sure its set to the nvidia GPU
if that doesnt help then i'd recommend using DDU to cleanly uninstall your drivers and then reinstalling the latest ones from the nvidia geforce experience app. your card in general should be able to run good at medium settings, though i cant remember the rtx 2060's performance for the higher performance areas like open world maps and APHO2, stuff like that

If you're wondering about the hoyoverse account thingy, I already did that back then and I contacted customer service and I got it retrieved
Then I played for some time

When I login it just shows me the tutorial
When I try to retrieve it it shows me that the account still exists
I think what happened was that when I was deleting some hoyoverse accounts I made accidentally I may have deleted the account linked to the Honkai account I had.
The new hoyoverse account system is really really confusing honestly
Then your account is already link to HYV, so you only need to login, the account link (retrieval) you can only do it one time
just be sure that you are login with the correct HYV account and on the correct server.

every time i log in it logs me into the very start of the game and i have made sure im on eu and that i have my username and password and everything right and it still logs me into the very start
the only time it'll do that is if you're on the wrong server or the wrong hoyoverse account, since you're on the right server it has to be the wrong account, when was the last time you played normally?

i see, so that account linking is the old mihoyo account system, not the hoyoverse account system. just because you have an account on the old mihoyo system does NOT mean that it is on the same hoyoverse account. they're different account systems and more often then not people linked it to a different hoyoverse account. you probably linked it to a different hoyoverse account. if you cant think of any other emails it might be linked to (alt email accounts, student email, etc) then contact customer support via email with your UID and explain that its been like over a year and you forgot what hoyoverse account its linked to and they'll help. #how-to-contact-cs
if you think you might have some other hoyoverse accounts it might be on but dont want to make new honkai accounts testing things then i recommend going to hoyolab.com and logging in with the hoyoverse account you think it might be on and then checking the battle chronicles to see if it shows your honkai account and if you find it then just simply log into the game with that account and it'll open to your old honkai account

That is not possible, your only options are, if you want to still use the same HYV account you can play on another server, or create a new HYV account to use it on HI3

Probably you still can run the game, because older chapters are going to be "the same" afaik, but you are going to have issues with new chapters if they are too demanding

Afaik is a issue on discord with games/programs without "rich presence", they can randomly stop working and you need to delete them and add them again

its because the windows folder that is the default installation for most programs (including honkai) is a folder that windows wont let you modify (in this case add or remove files and run the 7zip unzip application to unzip the updates) is in program files which without admin permission only lets you read files from folders in that location. to update the game, update the temporary cache, download new stuff, etc it needs admin permission

do keep in mind that they dont work 24x7 (mostly just business days aka 5 days a week) and depending on teh complexity of how easy it is to verify your info it can take longer than average. I think the longest anyones had to wait is a week and a half but make sure to double check your spam folders and if you dont get a reply back by next thursday or so then send them a new email and ask for teh status of your request

Hi! Been playing since early 2022, and Iāve never had this problem.
I had un-downloaded around 6.8/6.9 I think, and redownloaded on pc again a little while later.
As of recent, Iāve had a lot of problems with the launcher. I eventually resorted to YouTube and HoYoLAB. I couldnāt find ANYONE with my issue.
Problems I had:
- When clicking Launch absolutely nothing would happen
- Launcher would not show any links to Discord, Fb, Twt, HoYoLAB, etc. it would not even show āeventsā ānoticesā or āInfo.ā
- Would not āRepairā would immediately either close or have no action.
I redownloaded it from the Honkai Impact 3rd site, and it said it was stuck on 4.8?? It also would say āchecking for updatesā and then not do anything, but if I closed it, itād force re open the launcher and say it āfailed to get updates.ā
I tried from Steam, wouldnāt let me login to my original account at all.
If I can get any help, thatād be greatly appreciated!
the common denominator for all of those things are either a network connection issue or a broken launcher either corrupting the download, not updating the launcher properly, or showing any of the online resources like the links. I recommend using one of the custom launchers in the first pin, if you play multiple hoyoverse games then the collapse launcher lets you switch games without needing to open multiple launchers so thats nice, but both handle updating launching teh game much much better and have other features like changing the resolution outside of the game and so on
Also, Steam is a separate account system, so you wouldn't be able to use it
Though Epic should be fine
that too, dont bother with steam and epic will work if you're on global

it could be a connection issue from your internet/isp to honkaiās servers
using a vpn would reroute the connection, potentially fixing your issue

right, but considering your home internet and your mobile data are physically sending data out of your city/town there is a small chance they are routed similar ways to honkai's servers and therefore have the same problem, it cant hurt to try a VPN. unresponsive buttons/menus is 90% of the time a connection issue
the other 10% it can be an issue that clearing the cache can fix or a corrupt installation, but considering its happening on both your ipad and your pc at the same time then unless both of your installations had the same uncommon broken installation issue then its most likely a connection issue

Currently testing on PC. Only the challenge stages of the event, everything else works.

mb i thought it was the whole event but if its just the challenge stages it is less likely to be a network issue. you can try this to clear the cache on pc (assuming its still happening on there) and if that doesnt work im actually not sure what it could be, i'd ask customer support if clearing the cache doesnt work. if you have the internet for it you could try reinstalling but its a big game to reinstall so that ones up to you. #how-to-contact-cs

ive tried the support desk and by email but i don't think they understand, i got back into the game about a month ago and ive made some good progress, level 62, good suits. when i first came back, i kept trying to get my old account back, specifically from October 2020, because its an old account i figured it had some value, but i didn't know my user name or uid, all i know is possible usernames, the device i was playing on and what email was attached to it. im guessing that since its so old and inactive that it was deleted, but i have emails to prove i had the account. only problem is that my new account is also under that email
but because of the new login event id like to have those days, and the emblems for the anniversaries
ive just made so much progress on my new account that id rather not leave it behind for the other
the main issue is that without your UID, they cannot find your old account because theres millions of accounts so any kind of description of your account wont help either since they cant look it up that way. and since any account recovery process requires that you have to prove that you're the genuine original owner then knowing your account ID is one of the most basic parts of ownership proving so thats
but to address your other things, the account was not deleted, they dont delete accounts, even if you ask them to they will not do it so your old account is still there.
your old account might still be on the old mihoyo account system. i'd recommend trying the account retreival on the login screen and maybe try forgot password with the email login or try other logins like the google or apple option (only available on mobile), if you can get it to show your old accounts UID then customer support can help you. if you cant find it then all i can say is keep trying things on the account retreival but without a UID they cant help you find out what hoyoverse account your honkai is on, or to let you know that its not linked at all and to do the account retreival to link it to a hoyoverse.

the account retreival looks at the old MIHOYO accounts, which your old honkai account is probably on.
the new Hoyoverse accounts which your new honkai account is on is a totally seperate account system and can have the same login despite being different honkai accounts.
its just two different account systems so the fact your new one is on hoyoverse account xyz@gmail.com can mean that your old one is on mihoyo account xyz@gmail.com and that is perfectly normal because its two different account systems

honkai keyboard and mouse combat controls was designed around keyboard only since thats teh best translation from controller designed gameplay. as far as i know its never changed.
so to answer your question, your honkai account is already bound to a hoyoverse account, you can forget about the whole mihoyo pass thing for now. Basically if you played at all since july 2022 (HoO release date was in Feb 2023) then you had to have had your honkai account already linked to a hoyoverse account. if it is giving you a new account when you log in then you are simply either logging into the wrong server, or the wrong account. Double check that your game is set to the right server (you've set your discord profile to be EU, so if thats what you played on then make sure its set to europe, not americas) and try any hoyoverse account you can remember. if you cannot find what hoyoverse account your honkai account is linked to then email customer support and give them your UID and explain that you've forgotten what hoyoverse account your game is linked to and they'll be able to help #how-to-contact-cs

at the hoyoverse login screen in the game the server will be shown in the upper right corner if its the global version of the game. if there is no server selection in the upper right corner then you have the SEA version installed and that might be your issue right there

well the mystery is solved, but for iOS its using what region your apple account is set to and theres no way to manually install so by far the easiest way to fix this is to make a new appleID account set to some EU country for the location, then switch to that account when downloading and updating the game

on mobile click the red repair icon in the bottom left of the login screen. On pc click the 3 lines in the launcher next to "launch" and repair the game

Apparently the game is not frozen, I'm clicking out of the option, sometimes the option works.
I think option is clickable out of the option in showing in my screen

itās probably a memory leak then
either your installation is faulty (you can repair it via the red š ļø icon at the login screen), or the devs wrote buggy code
however with the amount of people reporting, itās probably likely to be the latter

Is there any specific reason the "Lineup Tutorial" button in the Hot on the Trail event doesn't actually do anything when you click it? Would be incredibly helpful to know how these teams are supposed to play but it hasn't worked on any team I've tried to click it on
I don't remember a "lineup tutorial" button unless you mean the lineup guide one, that just show you some of the team that are mostly use by others... If that is the case probably is broken, but you should be able to enter by clicking the valk team below the button.
Still, you can report on #šbug-report that the button don't do anything if that is the case

Hi everyone, for some reason the cgi no longer plays for me. around a week ago i was doing the open world and the cgi plays normally. now im progressing in the main missions but it just shows a black screen and im forced to skip. i went to the resources page and ensured that i have everything downloaded then went to replay the cgi but all of them show the black screen except for one that showed a subtitle then stopped at that. is there a fix for this? i play with an android phone
thats usually due to corrupted cgi files. assuming your android is capable of playing the game ok i'd recommend clicking the red repair icon at the login screen and deleting then checking your assets to redownload them. it'll be a big download so probably will want to do it on a fast wifi

just tried to move my hi3rd into a different drive by moving the entire folder from one to the other, but since i need to redownload the launcher into the new drive (and then move the hi3rd game/ games folder into the larger hi3rd folder which includes the launcher) i havev two copies of the game in my drive. the problem is that the game launches from the new hi3rd folder from when i downloaded the launcher, but it takes the game files from the old folder that i moved into the drive. it seemed like i should just move the hi3rd games/games folder into the new hi3rd folder but when looking at both they dont seem to have the same files
this is esp the case since one is called hi3rd and hi3rd glb
so im not sure what i should do because i dont want there to be any weird problems with installin gfuture updates
you can go to launcher settings and specify the game path manually
if the game path differs from the default path made when installing the game would it cause any update issues?

bc currently my path includes the hi3rd folder pictures above on the left when the new folder (which i basically just am using for the launcher) created from the most recent installation of the game is on the right side

the "dupe" folder is the new one but i cant find the launcher button from the older folder which was why i tried to dl a new copy of the game

yes possible by just changing the path manually as i suggested, but tbh the official launcher is not even needed
i've been using custom launcher since years already
i tried doing that where the launcher goes into the old folder (hi3rd)to launch the game, but my concern was just that the new folder containing the launcher had files differing from the old one i currently had, most notably the difference between audio (left) astrolabe (right) and the presence of more files in the newer one (hi3rd glb) than the old (hi3rd)
so i guess i didnt know if it mattered but i suppose it may not. im gonna try to move games from older folder into the newer folder to see if it works
alright i got it to work, i think my new folder in my drive was not correctly installed but i was able to get a correct installation of the launcher folder and was able to move my games folder from the old one into the new/official folder, idk maybe i had the very first new client installed from 4.9 which was why the files were different
i checked again and i think its true because it even has the pngs from the launchers before it got updated from 4.8 LOL so what mustve happened was that i was using a new launcher pathing into the old client in the folder w the old client as well

just woke up this morning to this error 10030, i tried doing the stuff on the second pin and it didnt work

oh also when you used a VPN, do you remember which country it connected to?
i restarted my router, switched between wifi and ethernet cable, and vpn somewhere in the americas forgot which country specifically since im staying in php for vacation

any other internet connections you could switch to? like a different wifi entirely?

ill go ahead and try those and if it doesnt work it might be the vpn im using so ill try that one in the pin
could be, if the VPN in the pin is no good either then unfortunately the issue has to be with your ISP at that point and using a different internet network (hopefully with a different ISP) is the fix
