VPN may work, but if the region is having an issue then VPN doesnt always work which is why its important to report it to CS so they can figure out whats causing the break and route around that

cuz its not the servers (im in NA but just connected to EU servers just fine less than a minute ago) so its not the servers themselves, theres some network instability in the EU region or some connection code isnt working well for those regions so thats why its important to contact CS about it with all the info in the first pin if you're getting the issue so the devs can make sure there's nothing on their end they need to tweak

no the game doesn't put restriction once you created the account, you just need to have the correct client
check the [first pin](#🔌technical-help message), it looks like some ISP are having problems making some EU players not able to play the game, (you play on SEA server. so you should not have problems unless is the ISP causing them)

Yep, that's what happen to me as well. It works for me if I'm VPN to Thailand for SEA server. I'm not sure that it's related or not.

you can choose any country/server on the VPN, afaik is only JP that you had to avoid because most of the time cause problems to connect to the game

most VPN's should work. I personally recommend protonVPN for free (havent scanned that one for anything malicious + busy so cant confirm that its not gonna install anything but im glad it works)

well HI3 is on a different server than all other hoyoverse games so the physical connection between your device will go a different route than other hoyoverse games. and for all we know a lot of online games are having this issue too but obviously they're not reporting it in here

potentially any online game could be affected if its servers are physically close to HI3. and looking in genshin discord theres the usual amount of connection issues in their tech help channel too. Also keep in mind that many captains that live in europe are not having issues. its a combination of several peoples ISP routes a specific way which does not connect right to HI3.

all this is in general just general IIX traffic instability from what i've gathered. just the specific conditions are making it affect HI3 players in Europe on a higher average than normal and at the same time

hmm, i could be wrong but i think RU blocks some VPN connections ( i could be wrong) or some VPN's block connections from RU right now. but yeah i'd recommend the next time this happens is periodically trying both VPN and not VPN

vpn's can help. you can read this explanation i wrote a while back about what using a VPN actually does and how it helps with HI3 but tl;dr is that connection issues are 99.9% of the time an unstable part of the 20 or so hops in between you and the honkai servers and a VPN puts you on a different route therefore going around the problem (usually) #🔌technical-help message

its like you're driving to school/work and theres a road blocked somewhere between you and work so you have to take a detour (the vpn is the detour)

well thats what they're saying, if you entered an address that was not a real address or not an address that you can get the package from (like a friends) they wont take responsiblity for something going wrong because of that. They ship it to wherever you tell them to if that makes sense

if its their fault it wasnt delivered then thats different, but if the reason its not delivered is your fault then thats your fault

I feel like if thats going to be the case, then at least have the site verify that it's a real address before setting it as the shipping address. Otherwise a small 1 letter typo will probably make the package be lost in transit. but thats just me

1. close the launcher if its open and on your second disk create a new folder, call it Honkai Impact 3rd or something like that.
2. after you've made the new folder go to your games installation folder and copy the games folder to that new folder (default install is C:\Program files\Honkai impact 3rd\
3. after you've copied the games folder over then open the launcher and click on the settings icon in the upper right and scroll down to where it says installation location, click Use another folder.
4. go to where you copied the games folder in your second drive and go inside the games folder, you should see at least these two folders now, Bh3_data and AntiCheatExpert and click select folder.

well you have options but none of them are good ones tbh (actually i think the last option is fine but thats just me).

1. so you can create a new email address to change the linked email for your main hoyoverse but that will affect the genshin login, it'll be on the 2nd email address.
2. you can also delete the hoyoverse account entirely and once thats done (takes 30 days) you could then use your main email to make a new hoyoverse account but that would delete your genshin account entirely.
3. Or you can make a new email address and create a new account to that and just keep track of the two emails used to login.

its not optimal to spend crystals in supply dorm which is why its in the guide but even after getting all the 1 time only crystals like from story stages and stuff you can still get like 15-20,000 crystals per patch from doing all the things so unless you really want to be at the best possible state with your account it probably hasnt set you back super hard
but yeah if you want to reset i'd just recommend making a new email and using that for honkai, write it down somewhere in case you forget about it but honkai remembers your login so you wont have to login often

so you will only need to make a sea backup of the files, transform sea to glb, once it finish locate the backup files again for sea.

Lately more users cannot connect (mostly EU players, many from RU and FR)

• select that one for HSR installation
• you just click okay without checking that the final path was "D:\HYV games\Games"
• you installed HSR over the HI3 files
• now neither game know what files to use or some were overwritten

Every HYV game create the "Games" folder when installing, so if you use the same path will cause that issue

So your connection has to go through about 20 different places before it gets to Honkai servers, heres an analogy that might help explain it.

So you're driving from your house to Honkai to play the game (driving from your house to Honkai is the same thing your connection to the game does). Part of the way there though the road is blocked from something, lets say a tree fell across the road so its blocked and you cant get there (aka connecting to the game). You decide to take a detour to go on a different road to get to Honkai and you get there and can play because you got there (thats what a VPN does sort of, it routes you a different way so different physical connection path).

The next day you decide to try the regular route you take and this time there is no tree blocking the road so you get there just fine (thats why it worked 5 minutes later without the VPN or "detour").

The reason everything else works is because the road block is only for the section of town that has Honkai and some other things but you dont care about those so you dont notice. Everything else that you care about like the side of town that has Genshin, or Youtube etc doesnt have a blocked road so you never have a problem getting there even when you cant drive to Honkai.

so basically if theres some instability somewhere in between your house and the honkai servers then you cant connect and a VPN puts you on a different route than the issue so you can connect normally, other hoyoverse games are on different servers in different physical parts of the world so those arent affected along with other stuff you do.

maybe not dozens, but every week theres at least 5-20 that have some kind of connection issue where they have to use a VPN for a week or two until it gets fixed. Now if the VPN doesnt fix it either then definitely report it to customer support with the info in the first pin because the issue is likely on honkais end at that point

3.Restart your Desktop/Notebook
