i can be wrong, imagine that i play those when they come up on JP and the again on GLB, but for the first one iirc is mostly adding more "story stages" to have a better pace on the story and deleting some extra ones but i remember that some next chapters didnt get va until the "important parts"
and for the second one was less intrusive but affected more chapters, where they just delete like those "challenge stages" that just where repeated stages, plus new graphics- streamline story gameplay so probably didn't affect the voices

Well this is just HI3 help channel, we don't know about the others games but sound like a connection problem, you could try if the solution for connection issue of HI3 work for them (Check the 5th pin)

But it's better if you ask/check the help channel of the respective game discord servers

Yeah when they reworked the story layout and gave everyone soda they took about 30 stages of something out of the first 6 or so chapters. Basically all those "filler" stages with 1 or 2 lines of dialogue or even 0? Now it's like 1 or 2 stages with 20 lines of dialogue. Basically just cut the early game play time by like 70% so that captains can get to the good stuff in chapter 8 sooner since of they get to the end of chapter 9 they're there till the end usually

Ah then yup that was 100% some broken or corrupt windows file. Probably something the game needed to start but I'm sorry you had to reset your computer! I guess on the other hand if you've had that computer for more than 2-3 years it was due for that anyways. Windows runs significantly better if you reset it every year or two to just clean out all the gunk in the OS

Playing on high is no problem, but on ultra, thats when the fps fluctuates and honestly it kinda ruins the experience (and makes me worried about my pc)

so only really really good pcs can get a decent performance there

Another thing to keep in mind is several of the game modes, notably apho2, ER sometimes and any open world maps are about 2-3 times more graphically intensive

imo the best way to test is to play ER(no need to be on high difficulty), with a valk with many vfx, select signets + nexus that add vfx (griseo-villv-aponia-...) and on the last stages if the perf is not good, exit without finalizing, change settings and resume the run to test again

i dont have have the exacte way to do it but i remember, when i started my new account in honkai after a long time without playing, i got in the hoyo verse site and then linked my hoyo account that i used for genshin with my new honkai account that i created with my email. i think you have some choice of phone number and other way to lin kacount.
in the worst case you can search in the faq or see with the assistance like i did for my pokemon and nintendo account. i had to send an email to the support so they unlinked my accounts

No, you can't unbind a honkai account from a HYV one.
what you can do is to play with the same HYV on other server that way you create a new HI3 account for that server
or just create a new HYV account

It could be that something on windows is interfering with you "controls" so when you press something that other program get the priority and exit the game, I know that that program have problems if you have multiple monitos but idk if that is your case (+ as a reminder, be cautious with that program could by accident cause a false positive with the in-game anticheat)

Still check if something on windows it's causing your problem, some months ago windows added the desktop search bar and on my PC was bugged so any time that the game try to open the in-game browser the game just minimize, after I disable that search the game work perfectly

@cobalt moth Some users what they do is that if they use a Gmail, they just create a new account using the 3rd party login, so they ended with "2 account with the same email" (not correct on tech perspective, but for users, yeah kinda the same "email")

There's no "windowed fullscreen" setting in HI3, forcing it may require game modification which puts you at risk of your account being banned.
Best to just request it from CS than force it

the best way by far to do this is to do teh following:

Hi, I play on EU server and have had no problems with the PC client up until the new update went live. It wouldn't update or launch the game at first then I tried one of the solutions on here and started using a VPN to access and play the game. The problem I have now is that it changed the currency in the top up store. It used to be in USD for me but now it's in EUR and I want to change it back, but if I use a US connection it's not letting me top up. I guess what I'm trying to ask is is there a way to fix the issue of me needing VPN to play HI3 the way I used to before?

tbh the connection problem is caused by your ISP and the routing that is giving you, most of the ISP fix that between hrs-days but for other can take weeks
and about the currency change according to the account server, iirc some EU countries have USD before but after prices change they update the currency for those countries

is kinda on your end but not really its your ISP that is giving you a bad routing to the game server, you can try to contact them but most of the time is some other ISP in between that is causing the issue
imo just keep the VPN and use it only when you have the issue.

You can check out their 3rd party audits but they collect about as much data as big name vpns like Nord iirc and have the same level of privacy policies. But they have a very tiny free account option on their payment plan page so really they're a regular paid VPN along with a host of other stuff like email provider and such. We did our research and we wouldn't pin just any skeezy thing in the official discord.

Sorry if that sounds really defensive I was just trying to alleviate any fears of using it, though tbh most vpns work though a lot of the regular "free" ones that we're all used to throttle your connection to the point they don't fix the issue but luckily proton does not do any such throttling. In fact it's the only one with a free option that I've heard of that does that.

well, not having ALT+ENTER isn't exactly the problem but rather a fix for another problem.

sometimes when I ALT+TAB or minimize the game, the resolution gets lower on its own (or the quality gets lower?) without having been changed from the settings. I used to fix this by changing the resolution from the settings to something new and then changing it back to my original resolution. Using ALT+ENTER would save me the trouble of adjusting the resolution from the settings.

pressing ALT+ENTER every once in a while wasn't a problem but now that it's removed, it's kind of a hassle having to go adjust the settings every time this happens

A main thread is better anyways, but you may have stutters due to background apps depending (wouldn't be anymore of an issue than in anything else though, HI3 isn't very demanding on newer-ish pc hardware)

Game will mostly use 2 or so cores, maybe 3-4 in your case since no hyperthreading but it'd be light usage. GPU is plenty, you'll barely push it much at all

Just press win+shift+esc and see how your pc reacts to the game and go from there (remember, 100% usage isn't bad, it's only bad if you thermal throttle)

Oh no, iOS does not use APK files and they don't allow installing random apps not through their app store.

For iOS by far the best method (since you can only change your appleid location once a year I think) is to make a secondary apple id account and set is location to where you want (I recommend the USA for global) and then switch to that apple account when installing or topping up

I've tried again and again and I don't know what's going on. this happens on mobile, on pc, with old characters and new characters, I start in Sakura samsara to defeat three zombies at the start of the cliff, I go down, the game glitches out and it respawns me back at the top of the hill, boxed in and unable to continue

does it start you at that spot when you enter the map or are you beating those as like a weekly quest?

its an anti hacker measure, gives you time to contact support about it so the hacker cant scrap all your gear and stuff. it happens when you use a different device than the one you've normally used

yes, and if lets say you got hacked and you proved it to CS they'll refund the purchases but there is no system where they can give gear and items to players that were destroyed so they prevent hackers from destroying that

mhmm, also crystal purchases are frequently time limited stuff like banners so they'd have a ton of angry players that got a new phone like 2 days before a banner they were going to pull on ran out

yeah i tried to google this just now that it seem you need to login for 3 days and spend 300 stamina to be consider not stolen by mhy

it starts me at the spot like normal, I run down the hill to the objective, the game hitches, and it either directly respawns me back at the top and boxed in or up in the air, I fall through the map, and then it reapawns me back at the hill and boxed in

what happens when you try to start at a different spot on the map? theres several points that you can start in

ok let me know what happens. probably just bugged out at that start point or something but if you start at a different spot and go to the objective it should clear up the bug and the map might go back to normal

It only let's me spawn from "village area"

it doesnt let you spawn in teh castle area and then from there go to the village area?

ah i see but right after starting can you without moving open the map and teleport somewhere else?

might be restricting your start point to the village since thats where your quest is

but theres several teleport points around the map that you should be able to teleport to.

it's supposed to be the main story, haven't even gotten to the adventure tasks

if its on both then its not a glitch with the cache or a bad installation of the game or anything like that its probably the server/your account or something and since it wont let you teleport or start anywhere else to try and get around it i'd contact customer support since they'll probably have to fix it on their end. make sure to specify its happening on both pc and mobile #how-to-contact-cs
