you could try reinstall the launcher with the launcher download exe(?
but if you want you can try make a clean install
first move your game files to another folder (default path: #\Honkai Impact 3###\Games\)
then uninstall-reinstall the launcher, move the files to the old path or leave them where you move it, and in the launcher click on locate files and select the folder that have the BH3.exe file

yes you can, the game should show you any resolution that you pc have but sometimes is bugged and you need to change from full to win, change the resolution and to full again
you can manually change the values on the reg files or use a custom launcher to set the the resolution more easily (check the 2nd pin)

it could be that the launcher doesnt detect the game correctly or that is not getting the update because a connection issue
you can try reinstalling the launcher (you need to move the files if you don't want to redownload everything before unistalling)
or you can manually update the game, on the 2nd pin you will find the link to the files but keep in mind that you will need to do the same if the launcher still have the problem
imo it will be better to do a clean reinstall

if you already try making the change after you enter the game 1 time, and still got problems, then idk what more you can do, you can try to ask later when the mt issues slow down to see if someone have the solution or you could contact cs and tell them that your game is not getting the correct resolution
and just in case check that you have the widescreen option enable

the older characters are lower resolution but theres also the not wanting to overload phones graphics so some minor details are not the crispest to make sure older phones can still run the game ok since these kinds of graphics are pretty GPU hungry

so it looks like your phone just wont run the game, its using an unsupported chipset to begin with (honkai was not developed around Unisoc so it runs worse on that) and your GPU is very budget and outdated, well below the minimum. if it used to work on that specific phone i'd try restarting teh phone and making sure nothing else is open on it. Force close all apps and maybe try reinstalling the game but that might not work since your phone is well below the minimum requirements

to be honest unless your ethernet cable is connected directly to honkais servers that doesnt mean anything, theres a long long long distance and amount of connection hubs in between you and honkai servers and one of those is the issue, thats why the stuff in teh pin works to attempt to route you around the issue

The little circle at the center of her crosshairs interface continously flashes while it's "on" an enemy (while in a fight at least) and doesn't become orange when it's "on" the vulnerable point of any enemy.

intel graphics is sort of "no gpu" since its an integrated gpu but it can depend on a lot of things. mostly the lag is due to DDR3 memory which the graphics has to use so its old and slow basically, hence the lag

lag would probably be reduced at a lower resolution in windowed mode

but even with a "weaker" CPU if its more modern the integrated graphics would run smoother since better drivers

not necessarily, it would only affect everything if the issue was physically in your town/neighborhood. but theres thousands of km and a good dozen or so connection centers between your house and honkais servers. the specific connection to HI3's servers has someone in the middle being unstable and your ISP is responsible for routing your connection to HI3 servers spcifically through that unstable area if that makes sense

yes, the older cgs are the worst but they're at a fixed quality optimized for mobile devices, on larger pc screens it looks pretty bad but it gets better as they made them better over the years

No not really. They're proprietary .usm files. You can if you get a dwmuxer capable of reading .usm files but it won't get the subtitles and if you really really want to it's suggest googling it since there's no user friendly program for it and it's a bit of a rabbit hole

Yes they do require the UID to find your account from the millions of others. You're old account though, was it only username or did you start on mobile so some chance it is linked to Google play or something? (Don't try signing into the game or anything if it was just let me know)

What I'd recommend is doing the account retrieval button and trying every password you can think of to try and recover it but if you can't find it then continue with the form they sent you and worst case is they "recover" your new account and you can still access it afterwards but you'll be right where you are now

If you do find it though and get your UID then all you have to do is link that to a hoyoverse account or at least you'll have your UID so CS can help

So a friend of mine wanted to "reinstall" his game on another drive, because the original one is practically full. He proceeded with moving the folder, which as he states "broke it" because apparently it's not as simple as that, and there is some "cmd/powershell digging" one needs to do when changing drives. (I don't really know what even happened here, can ask for more details if needed)
He went and uninstalled and reinstalled, and now has the launcher showing version 4.8.
It says "newest version" when checking and gets stuck on "Checking for updates, please wait..." when clicking Get Game

its mostly because its having connection problem with the server, when reinstalling the launcher always show 4.8 because that is the default img, and then download the new one, he need to try the steps on the 5th pin, if one step don't work try the next one...

tbh idk what he did, because is easy to move the game, just need to move the folder, and on the launcher use the "locate game" (if is not showing on the front page, you can find it on the config of the launcher) to put the new location.

yeah you just have to move the games folder to its own folder in the secondary drive and then locate game. but if they move the entire honkai installation folder (the ones above the games folder) that can break it

I can confirm it's not my computer nor settings. I have re-installed the game. Before replacing the files, i replayed the original japanese dubbed files, it runs very smoothly. tbh CN dub is the original which is why some of the first half a dozen or so dont have JP dub but for every server other than CN the cg's are jp dub if that makes sense

iirc the driver from that date was causing problems with the cg for some users, i could be wrong. first try what luna said before and check
(if after deleting the file the game doesn't start the download automatically use the "repair assets" option)
if that doesn't work update your gpu drivers

oh so i checked out that AI upscale, it actually did pretty significant improvements, still not perfect but actually pretty good with the theia AI for sharpening, artemis didnt do too well but it did do pretty nice despite being 100x the file size

tbh it was the encoder, i was using the default pro res 422 LT as a test, if i did more of it to upscale then i was planning on using H265 since its a good lossless
