if you have an ultrawide screen you can set ultrawide compatible but otherwise the resolution settings are in ai chan phone > settings > graphics. it should let you set the resolution to the max of your screen

If you're connecting to the Japan node then try the USA one, the Japan node has issues

Also make sure it's fully connected before opening the game but if that still has no improvement then try the other stuff in the 3rd pin (VPN usually fixes it but not 100% of the time)

If none of the 3 things in the 3rd pin work then you'll need to call your ISP and figure out why they're blocking the game connection, it's rare but it's happened before lol

But the cause of the issue is that something between your phone and the honkai servers is throttling your connection to about 2kbps I'd say

Then yeah like zero said, might be time to contact your ISP and ask them why they're throttling you (you can try the Europe node in the VPN first real quick to see if the USA one is having issues)

That settings update updates the cache, news, web events, pulls you're profile data from the server, etc. It's about a 10-20mb download and is about 100 files on average

-Restart your router/network(you have to wait some minutes before power on again)
-Switch to another network
-use a VPN

That is post processing, but afaik you can't "edit the config" of the VFX, you can disable some options that affect them in some way, like HDR for example, that enable bloom effect for some objects

Anyway, you can disable the VFX from other players when you play on co-op, it in "more" options

I have a problem with honkai account.
I used to play HI3 some years ago and I thought of redownloading the game and see what changed. I login with my previous google account but a new account was created. I searched on google why this happened and discovered that I had to link my hoyoverse account in the retrieve section

But now I cant delete the new account, so I can't link my hoyoverse account, that has the genshin progress, to my old HI3 account

Do I have to wait 30 days to unbind the new account?

All in all the game installation is going to be about 26gb, which looks right from the pictures you posted (your current installation is 18gb and it's wanting to download about 8 more gb, not 4) if it restarts the download again though after this 8gb it downloads then that's a connection issue and the 3rd pin has some solutions

It would be around 20gb iirc but it'll constantly prompt you to download needed resources when playing some stages but either way like I said, might be a connection issue if it's restarting the download, unfortunately theres no way to know which files exactly aren't shay disclosures so if you want the minimum size installation I recommend uninstalling the game entirely, connecting to a VPN on the USA node (the 3rd pin has a good free one) and then reinstalling the game.

Alternatively you can just use a VPN and let the game update itself and it should for the most part be small installation but there might still be sone tmp corrupted download files that didn't get replaced

The game doesn't just delete itself like that, maybe it's main resources got deleted if you tried to clear the cache or something but either way if you were using windscribe earlier then it's also possible that that VPN is throttling your connection too, a lot of the free ones do

it should work fine, bluetooth has more issues than wired but honkai uses xinput for windows which is the default xbox style so those controllers work the best. wired should have 0 issues and bluetooth should probably have no issues

it can, they basically compare your answers with the account history/data and if too much is wrong then they'll reject it so try to be accurate as you can but its not the end of the world if that is the only thing wrong (you can always fill it out again though, someone tried like 5 times before they accepted)

it technically can, but all that plus her quantity of effects and secondary effects from ER can lock things up sometimes but a quick test is to just lower the graphics down and try again but at the end of the day it is just a bug

Aa won't totally remove the pixels, a lot of that it's texture resolution. Can try increasing the rendering accuracy but be warned that very high on that is incredibly unoptimized and needs like a GTX 3070 or better to get decent frames

Tbh none of them, native texture sizes are 8k and are then downscaled for the playable version of the game

But high is about as good as it's going to get yeah, still need a good\decent graphics card for it depending on your screen size but it's at least decently optimized

it probably would, assuming the issue is with the audio files. if you dont wan to redownload the entire game you can go to Honkai Impact 3rd glb\Games\BH3_Data\StreamingAssets\Audio\GeneratedSoundBanks folder and delete the "windows" folder, that will just redownload all the audio files (around 9GB)

though if you're internet is fine with it then uninstalling the whole game and reinstalling it would be cleaner

tbh i very highly recommend just uninstalling and reinstalling unless your internet has very limited download

its nothing that sus, you know how fullscreen games usually grab the mouse and dont let go of it so you dont accidentally click out of it? overlays are pretty much just mostly transparent apps that show up over whatevers on your screen when you have them open but its not impossible for them to bug out and "grab" your mouse when honkai is running but since the overlay isnt actively open on your screen you cant see it + your cursor

google sign in and email sign in are two different login methods, its possible your account with the google sign in does not have the email address linked to it, you can check by going to account.hoyoverse.com and signing in with your google account and seeing what email is linked to it

yeah thats why. steam deck is a linux based os, even with windows on it it still has a lot of incompatibility between hardware (its hardware is pretty proprietary, they dont use off the shelf stuff) + software. plus steam deck has 1GB dedicated VRAM and "can" access up to 8GB but thats probably using its own steam OS, im not sure if windows knows how to do that with its specific integrated GPU

has anybody else been getting game freezes against Symphony Benares? During the bullet phase I can pretty reliably freeze the game. you can try restarting your router, switching to mobile data/wifi if you're on mobile or using a VPN. any of those can fix it. VPN fixes like 98% or more of people that get the infinite elevator screen

on pc the game use zfbrowser (Chromium) on the game for login/events, probably something is blocking the game browser or a connection issue with the webpage

Did you disable the auto update from App Gallery(Huawei store) before installing from Google play/APK ?

That is why it's working there, Most of the laptops have enable the "shared ram" option out of the box so when the game ask for the 2gb of vram, your laptop take the missing memory (1.5gb) from your ram to use it as vram, (you still can reproduce the problem there if you for some reason have all your ram in use for example)
still check your steamdeck bios and try giving min 2gb to the GPU (4gb will be better on late stages)

System ram is also just slower than the vram for gpu purposes, has to go through more hardware to get to the gpu which can just cause all sorts of issues itself (missed frames being most obvious)

Also tends to be clocked slower, gpus tend to use different memory types that is optimized for gpu use, that'd be what the 'G' in GDDR is for

A lot of laptops can get away with using system dram for vram though, especially newer ones with ddr5. The components are generally much closer together so there's less to go through to reach the gpu

Something else to remember about vram, it doesn't just store assets. It stores the commands for the gpu to use, if all the necessary info to display the frame (or a video on another monitor for example) is taking up that 512MB of vram and the 2D model data gets put to your system dram, then the game will prefer to maintain stable framerate than tell the gpu to wait for info from dram constantly

sadly no, steam specifically uses your steamID to login so cant do anything hoyverse account related with it.

can at least try topping up with appleID, might work ok but if not then yeah you'll have to top up on something other than iOS. though since you have a computer you can install the epic games version which will let you use your global account and also has paypal as a payment option for topup.

oh and also keep in mind that iOS uses your physical location to determine which client it gives you in teh apple store so you'll need to try vpn'ing to an NA place and double checking that the app is called honkai impact 3rd not 3
