Not really. You can just overclock to get that desired performance. Higher power consumption of energy also means more heat, which in many laptop's case, leads to reduced performance to keep it cool.

Undervolting to reduce power consumption while overclocking at the same time to maintain speed is what you might want to do if you are encountering stutters or heat problems.

you can retry a bunch of times if you want but it is actually connection issue (yes i know you said your wifi is fine, your wifi isnt the issue in the long connection between you and honkai servers) so it'll probably happen a bunch of times unless it was a one off bad download. If you wanna try retrying it i'd recommend trying it once more and if it fails again do the things in this pin (minus the hi3mirror cuz thats temporarily down) to fix it. #🔌technical-help message

i think you can choose from one of this notebook :

if you want to last long battery notebook (if you need 5-6 hours of usage or more)
there is Asus Zenbook S13 OLED , HP Elitebook 845 G9 , Acer Swift Edge 16 inch and Lenovo Yoga 7 (This all with Radeon 680M Graphics)

if you prefer performance over the battery life

Very high makes my Graphic Card go from 120 easy to run FPS to 40 or below unless i pause which will go 60 or a bit more

This happens esclusivelly on Very High in the settings. Is this a known bug? The 100% usage and dip below 60 fps is quite random, depending on the day , and it is the only game doing this.

its not a static IP address. but also tbh if you're having connection issues, 99% of the time the issue is a data center somewhere in between you and honkais servers that is throttling your connection, not denying it out right but throttling it and having packet loss which wouldnt show up on a simple traceroute. the 3rd pin has stuff to fix connection issues and if mobile data works fine, then a VPN should work fine too. but basically the issue is probably not with your local ISP

you'd have to dual boot windows, honkai doesnt run on steamOS which is a linux based os a lot of the low level windows things they require (xinput for one) will just simply not work in steamOS

ah well you see your google account on your phone is on a hoyoverse account. its just a hoyoverse account that uses your google account as the login method.

can you go to account.hoyoverse.com and log in with your google account and go to account security settings to see if your genshin email login is also used there? both y our honkai and your genshin might already be on the same hoyoverse account

If you can still log in on mobile what you can do is tap on your profile in the upper left of main menu and then go to account and then user center. It'll auto log you into the account.hoyoverse.com account that your honkai is currently on and then you can set username, set email, etc

You reply to that email they sent you saying that you do not recognize that email and they'll send you a form to prove account ownership so they can recover your account

They send that first email as a reminder since a lot of times people just forgot what hoyoverse it's on. So tell them that you don't recognize that email so they can start the account recovery process.

The warning you are referring to doesn't actually say anything about your account being deleted

It just says the account can't be accessed or logged into. Which is can't.... Until you link it to a new hoyoverse account which is something you have to do at the login screen but since they don't do it for you that warning is included

I was playing and hit armada and my game crashed. When I reloaded the login info on bottom didn't stretch to borders. Could see the ends of the black bae my info is on. Tried ignoring it but when I play the controls are all squished inward now.

hmm, might be some issues with teh pc task scheduler then. but while you'll still need to update via the launcher if it is being extra stubborn you can make a shortcut to bh3.exe on your desktop and just run that if needed

yeah it will probably fix it, the only thing that could be causing it that isnt the games fault is if your computers specs arent good enough to render the new kiana and stuff but otherwise yea reinstalling should fix it.

if you do reinstall tho make sure to uninstall by going to the add/remove programs in the windows settings and uninstall honkai from there so it'll properly uninstall

to my knowledge, I don’t have any other Hoyo verse accounts, unless some kind of mix-up happened when creating these things separately. all I know is something is preventing me from having my Honkai connected to hoyolab

yeah that just means that the thing you're trying to link is already linked to another hoyoverse account

but if you can log into honkai, it already is using a hoyoverse account. its impossible to log in and not have it be linked to a hoyoverse account

so however you log into honkai, just log into hoyolab the same way

oh for game center? yeah thats a little different. go ahead and log into the game and then go to your profile and then account and the user center which should auto log you into the account.hoyoverse.com page for your honkai, then just set a username/password and WRITE IT DOWN so you dont forget, probably should set email too if you ahve a spare one. then you can log into hoyolab all you want

so the way the epic store version works is its literally identical to the regular glb client with the exception of two sdk files for the webstore and you can run bh3.exe directly but you wont have the epic store payment unless you open it from the launcher which changes the payment type in the config or version file (forget which .txt it is) so that top up will use the epic store payment instead of worldpay

you can but you'd have to delete the entire hoyoverse account (so genshin or whatever else is on there would be toast as well) and it takes 30 days after you click delete account for it to actually delete (anti hacker measure). you cant just delete the honkai account linked to the hoyoverse though there is no function for it and its not a service that customer service does

Oh I forgot to mention, "unlinking" can't be done the way you think. There isn't a function for that so what customer service has to do is delete the hoyoverse account entirely and assist with moving the honkai account to a new hoyoverse. I'm assuming that's ok and you don't have any other games on it that would get lost too?

Tbh genshin is bound to your hoyoverse account, they can't move genshin accounts just like they can't move honkai accounts either. Account "unlinking" with honkai was designed for people that have they're hoyoverse accounts hacked or the login info completely lost so it's fine if the hoyoverse account gets deleted.

I see, yeah they won't unlink for that. Your best bet is to make a new email address and create a new hoyoverse account for your honkai specifically

It's how the hoyoverse accounts are designed. The game accounts are bound to hoyoverse, like it's basically the same account. Your honkai, genshin, etc are all just your hoyoverse account and not their own thing that can be swapped around

NP still depends of the login option that you use, if you use things like the google login yeah its going to be impossible to enter.
just in case try to search for receipts(if you top-up), SS of the game with your UID, etc. while you receive a response from cs because you will be asked to verify that you are the owner of the account and things like that will help

then comes the step where you link to the new account, if you don't have one you must create one right there.

playing on pc client, game keeps crashing on the 34-15 story

do you get an error message or a crash log generated or anything?

issue is AkSoundEngine.dll causing an access violation

i tried updating my drivers i even deleted the file itself and repair game files

considering all you've tried if you havent tried restarting your pc yet do that and make sure that windows is updated and if that doesnt work then you'll need to reinstall the game

i did both of that so i guess ill have to reinstall my game then

cuz its not that file thats the issue, its either a windows process or the game just happens to be running that .dll when it crashes. and yup it sucks but reinstalling usually fixes that error if the other stuff doesnt

Another question. If i didnt download all the resources, will i still be able to play the current events?

the hd basic sd ones? its fine not getting the hd ones, those are just texture packs, do need to ofc dl the assets (like the one that has teh valk being showcased)
