there is no cap. whoever told you there was a level cap is mistaken.

though regardless of account level there will be an account ownership form where they'll prove that you're the genuine owner of your account before just giving it to you lol

but for instance i got mine unlinked at lvl 88

though what you probably heard was about how if its low enough level they will delete instead of unlink the account but they do that these days for accounts lower level than the first stage completion

your genshin will be fine. account unlinking unbinds a honkai account from a hoyoverse account which lets you do the account retrieval on the login page to bind it permanently to any hoyoverse account you want. so like a hacker impersonating you would love to just do that so they could link it to their own hoyoverse and then sell it or something so they prove account ownership. thats what i meant by "giving it to you" because if you were unable to access the honkai account then that would be giving it to you since you could then do the linking and access it

but in your case since you're wanting to basically throw away the honkai account you dont care what happens to it. though keep in mind that your main honkai account is still linked to a hoyoverse account if you could log into it recently so you would need to unbind that one as well so you can link it to your main hoyoverse (or just explain your issue to customer service and they may have the ability to do that for you)

if it gets rejected you can do it again so while you should be as accurate as possible please dont stress too much about being perfect. but since this is for your low level accidental account just give the accident accounts UID, which server you play on (i think thats SEA) and since it was just recently created it doesnt have a miHoyo pass username/email cuz thats the old account system so just explain that. for 4 just let them know you accidentally made a new honkai account and you really just want to move your old one to your main hoyoverse

so as ive said before, this form is used for account retrieval 99% of the time. so that means that most of the people that use this form cannot access their old honkai account that exists on the mihoyo pass system and tried to do the account retrieval button on the login screen which will show that example pic when you try to link your honkai account to a hoyoverse account.

in your case since your main is already linked to a different hoyoverse and you just want to switch the hoyoverse accounts they are on what you are having to do is this.

1. unlink accidental account.
2. unlink main account.
3. do account retreival button on login screen to link main honkai account with main hoyoverse account.

but you dont need to put the example pic since you are not retrieving your account so just leave your main account pics and explain in 24 that it is pics of your main account not your accidental account.

i don't think you can.
Steam have their own login servers so you can't use HYV account... with that in mind, there are some changes in the games files to make that work, so probably not all the files are going to work with the official launcher...
you can still try, but you need to use the official launcher (or epic version) to login via HYV

Although, like stated above, if you had any progress with steam, it would not carry over once you use the official launcher as they - though both using the same Global server - have different login methods.

hmm, then the issue is that its not the right hoyoverse account, even if your hoyoverse account was hacked they cant unlink your honkai account from your hoyoverse account. only customer service can do that and they do a very very in depth account ownership proof form that only you'd know the answers too.

you can try logging into hoyolab.com and checking the honkai battle chronicles for your honkai account, it'll show any honkai account on any server. if you dont see it then try a different login like social media login like twitter or something.

or if you have your honkai accounts UID number then you can also email customer service and say that you dont remember which hoyoverse your account is on and give them your UID and they'll be able to help #how-to-contact-cs

I am back after updating windows, restarting my pc, updating my drivers, restarting my pc again, and testing the game out.

There is still a bit of lag at the beginning, but the game starts to smoothen out after a few minutes. I continued to play for another 20 minutes and the game suddenly crashed again.

hmm, try going to your windows settings and search for memory isolation. if its on then turn it off

make sure to restart your pc at the end.

if that doesnt work then go to your honkai installation folder (c:\program files\honkai impact 3rd\ games\ and delete bh3.exe and once that is deleted go into the launcher settings and click repair game files

and if that doesnt work then tbh you might have to fully uninstall and reinstall the game

thats the big downside of steam. the upside is people that started on steam will never have account issues lol but it has its own login servers.

but yes if you play on steam it'll have its own account. if you get the official pc global launcher or through epic though you can use your current honkai account with its progress
