first check your hoyoverse account info and look that the email is correct
you can enter in game in your profile - account - user center (dont need login)
or enter here https://account.hoyoverse.com/ (need login)

if everything is correct, try login again but check that you dont have a blank character at the end of the email/password

hello, so i wasnt able to log into my honkai accout in awhile due to my pc breaking down for a few months

i got it repaired but im not sure if its due to internet or other reasons i cant see, i cant seem to download my genshin using the launcher in that way

its concerning because its likely going to happen too with me downloading honkai the normal way. If say the launcher download reaches 55% or somthing like that, it would fail due to failure to verify

is there a guide here to manually download/extract the files in small chunks then having it be unzipped by the game?

so um, i uninstalled honkai impact 3rd from my mobile device, and tried to download and reinstall twice the assets, and it kept giving me that not everything has downloaded correctly, nd that my storage is insufficient, which is false given there is still a lot of it free in my phone @stoic reef. these are all errors i've never had before on PC honkai impact 3rd.

oh ok, just make sure you're using a vpn when you redownload so prevent connection issues corrupting your download. typically the storage full error message when you do check details is really a file that was corrupted that needs to be deleted and reinstalled

because this error means 1 of 2 things 99% of the time.

in check details its a 10033 error which means connection issue and to use a VPN or its a 10042 error which is restart the pc and try again

Hi, does Honkai not provide vibration feedback to PS4 and PS5 controllers? I am using DS4Windows for my Dualsense but I realized that if I emulate a PS4 controller or just use my PS5 controller straight there are no vibrations at all but if I switch to a virtual Xbox controller then I do get vibrations

You cannot migrate servers but tbh your ping will be the same as other EU players since the global servers for both EU and na are in the same place

Honkai uses generic xinput for it's controller so nothing specific for DS which is probably why it didn't work until you emulated the Xbox which would use xinput

Just restart your phone first to make sure nothing's running in the background they might cause issues and then download and install the proton VPN app and connect to the USA option before launching the game and trying to login

Umm I mean I use an off brand generic playstation controller and it works fine with vibrations without having to use any emulator so I know the game doesn't turn it off on it's end. Have you tried adding hi3 to your steam library (add game > browser to your bh3.exe location in your games folder of your honkai installation) and then running the game through steam? (Don't install through steam but just add your existing game to steam)

That way it might use steams detection of controller instead of ds4windows

Also make sure the emulator is off when you try

Just while playing and hopefully the server your router is routing your phone (but not PC) through that is causing the issue will fix itself soon but next time you play while using your note just first try normal and if you get an error just tab out of the game and connect to the VPN then try again

Ok for some reason, the game recognizes that I have a playstation controller, but it's not accepting proper inputs (the right stick moves the cursor and the character, the left stick switches them).

I can't change anything unfortunately. Any button I press isn't being recognized by the game (in this screen). However, during normal gameplay my square, triangle, circle, and X buttons all work normally (still no vibrations tho). The right stick moves the characters, the left stick switches them. R1 R2 L1 L2 don't work in combat but somehow they work in the pause menu (e.g. pressing L2 + Triangle to give up) but then doesn't work again in the confirmation screen (e.g. pressing L2 + Triangle to confirm).

Oh and the vibrations don't work

Hmm then the only thing I can recommend is trying a different controller wrapper to see if it'll do the vibrations but also keep the PS layout

I think it's just honkai using xinput and when connecting to Windows (even emulated) a dualsense uses the older directinput driver

If you're using Bluetooth then try USB since that might make it work over xinput and just work natively

Hmm then it shouldn't be taking that long. Try checking for Windows updates and if the are any then apply them and then regardless if there are updates or not restart your computer. If that doesn't work (or if you're on mobile then restart your phone) then it might be your ISPs route to honkai, trying a VPN might help with that

Hi, just a little bit of an update after I did a bit more testing. I tried plugging in my dualsense and the inputs are fine this time (I guess it was a faulty cable previously); bluetooth still gives weird responses to my inputs. However I'm still not receiving vibrations unfortunately.

i think i understand what you're meaning. but i dont think that would work. you see the games like honkai and genshin are bound to a hoyoverse ID and things like the ps4 account, email/password, appleID, etc all that stuff that is linked to it is pretty much login methods. you can switch them back and forth but the games on the hoyoverse account (like honkai and genshin) are bound to the hoyoverse account and cant be separated by you. customer service has the ability to unbind them though so if you explain your issue and prove that you're the account owner and stuff they might be able to help with what you want~

on an unrelated note my project has gone well so far. I havent had time to finish the guide because of vacation and stuff but I did do a test run and was able to download and patch honkai completely out of game or launcher from just having the launcher downloaded to the in game cg update being done and nothing extra needing to be downloaded. All in 10MB sized pieces (about 2400 of them in total lol) so it would work with your internet. after i have the guide written up i was gonna share it with you to test if you want

its because the quest isnt in the open world, its in a different place so you cant walk to it obviously.

in sanctuary, at the door out where you select where you'll go select the quest and click track in the bottom right corner and it should teleport you where to go

it does that for the story quests that arent in the open world map

Oh ok. So a couple of things then. Account data doesn't get deleted automatically nor does customer service routinely delete accounts, that just does not happen. It is also quite impossible to delete or unbind a game account (like honkai or genshin) on your own from a hoyoverse account. Only customer support has the ability to do that and they don't do that unless you ask them to and fill out a lengthy form proving that you're the account owner by answering questions that only the owner would know.

With all that being said the simple answer is that your American account is not on the hoyoverse account you think it is. You can log into hoyolab and check the honkai battle chronicles for every honkai account on that hoyoverse account. You can see all the characters on different servers in a drop down near the top. You can do that for any hoyoverse account you have to try and find it. Or you can email customer support with the UID of your American account and they'll be able to tell you which hoyoverse it's on #how-to-contact-cs has their email addresses.

i already said that the issue is either your home internet OR something in between your home internet and honkai servers. 99% of connection issue cases its something in between your home internet and honkai servers is the issue and that means that ONLY honkai and nothing else, not even genshin will have connection issues

so the fact that other internet worked fine means that it was something in between your home internet and honkai servers and using a VPN routes you around whatever is causing the issue and will let you login

but case in point, honkai needs 2GB of VRAM to even render characters properly but yours has 400MB of dedicated VRAM, the emulator uses your CPU instead to do some of the work but its not enough to run the game and render it as well
