New way to provide feedback and suggestions
Prisoners,
We are changing how to provide feedback & suggestions, which gives you a direct way into my inbox. Instead of using the #gtfo-game-suggestions channel, you are welcome to send suggestions and feedback to community@gtfothegame.com, which lets you provide longer material that isn’t limited by Discord, attach pictures, clips, and so forth. It will also be easier for me to collect, categorise and act on that feedback.
With this, we will be closing the dedicated channel for suggestions soon. It has been a valuable resource during the development of GTFO, but we feel that email will provide a more nuanced opportunity that also isn’t tied to Discord.

Onboarding Activated!
Prisoners, we have messed around with the Discord Onboarding function that makes it easier for new people to find what they are looking for - LFG, lore talk or looking at my pictures of bread.
We also took the opportunity to add some new roles to pick from. For example the community requested ability to show what melee gang you belong to. Check it out in the Channels & Roles section at the top of the channel menu.

We come to you today with some relatively big news about two topics relating to GTFO modding.
First thing to announce is a change to rule 12:
Old
12. We do not currently support modding, as we - first and foremost - must focus our efforts on delivering the high quality game that we've promised on the product page. For this reason, please do not post any content related to modding (screenshots, videos, links to modding resources, etc) or run modded games while using the voice channels on this Discord server. However, we do recognize that a GTFO modding community has been formed. The use of cinematic camera mods within videos is exempt from this rule, so that content creators are not limited in their creativity. If you'd like to discuss modding or join that community, here is a link to their Discord server: https://discord.gg/rRMPtv4FAh.

For this reason, the use of most mods and the posting of most modded content is not permitted and still against the Terms of Service. There are though a few exceptions to this rule here on Discord, which are:
-Cinematic mods.
-Visual mods which have no impact on gameplay.

However, any mods used must only affect your own gameplay experience and at your own risk. If moderators believe you are using a mod maliciously even if it follows these guidelines they can decide to treat it as a disallowed mod, if you are not sure about whether a mod would be allowed or not you can always DM the community manager.
We also recognise that there are individual GTFO-modding communities that have been formed, and if you wish to play with mods which are not allowed by our rules we would recommend looking through our #hc-modded.```
As stated in the new rule, you can DM @prime hull with any questions or queries about this new change if you are confused, but to hopefully answer the majority of questions here are a few we expect will be common:
"Does this mean my warnings about using these mods will be removed?"
No. While we understand it might be frustrating to some to hear that something they got warned for is now allowed, it was still against the rules when you were warned for it so even if the rules have changed, you still broke them. Unless specifically said to you directly, all previous infractions for use of now allowed mods are still in effect.
"Is (specific mod) allowed now then?"
We won't be listing any specific mods which are now allowed because there are so many and we don't want to play favourites with certain modders. Generally it should be pretty simple to see if your mod falls under one of the three above and follows the other criteria, however, if you aren't 100% sure you are free to DM mod mail. When doing so we ask that you include the mods name, description and a list of it's features.
To add to this point. Mods which aren't one of the three listed types are still not allowed to be played or posted about as modding is still against ToS. If you have issue with this please reach out to @kindred dragon with your queries.Now onto the second part of this announcement, #hc-modded
This is something our highlighted communities team has been working on for a while, and we hope it will go well with the new rule change.
Some of you likely aren't aware of what the highlighted communities are so a brief description is that they are community servers which have applied to be in our HC channels, to act as their own independent communities for certain things, mainly different countries and regions.
Previously the amount of a server dedicated to modding that a community could have was very small, however, we are now doing away with that limitation and introducing a new category, the aforementioned #hc-modded. We have also changed the rules for applying however this announcement is already getting very long so i wont list the changes like I did for rule 12.
What this means is that current servers can now expand the amount of modding they have within their server and new servers, even ones completely dedicated to modding, can now apply without being denied for featuring modding.
For existing HC
Please DM @prime hull about the changes you plan on making before you make any, so we can document that you now have a larger modding section in your server.

With this change to modding in highlighted communities we are hoping to see an influx of new applications and old servers messaging mod mail, which means that we ask you to temper your expectations of speed when it comes to replying and approving your servers, as our HC team is quite small.

Only a small announcement today but still an important one.
First of all we'd like to welcome another moderator into our ranks @latent root . (Their HSU got stuck in transport so they are a bit late.) I hope you'll give them a warm welcome.
The second matter is relating to our LFG channels and cheaters. Recently we have seen an uptick in cheaters who will use lobby codes posted but not join the voice channel, meaning we are unable to link that cheater to a specific discord account. Currently our solution to this issue is changing the way you post lobby codes, instead of including them in your LFG message we advise that you wait for a full group to be in your VC and then send them the lobby code individually through DMs.
We understand this may be inconvenient to some people who had DMs turned off, and I will say that we are not going to prevent you from posting your lobby codes into LFG channels, we simply advise that you do not anymore due to this cheater issue.
I will also use this announcement as a reminder that if you do run into a cheater you should send a message to @prime hull with all the info you have, though the most important parts are:
Some people recently have taken to public channels to call out cheaters, while we understand this is done in good faith to prevent others from experiencing the same thing, it is still witchunting, which is against our rules. Not only because we don't want to cause harassment to users but because there have been cases of impersonation, and the last thing we want is an innocent user getting hate for another users actions.

Hey there Prisoners,
You may have noticed some changes in the Voice channel categories.
We're rolling out a new feature for AutoVCs. You may have seen similar features on other servers and if so you'll already know how they work, but here is an explanation for those who don't:
-Join the "create team of __ " channel.
-The bot will create a new channel for you and move you to it automatically.
-You can then treat it like a normal voice channel until you leave.
-When all players leave the voice channel it will be deleted automatically.
This will hopefully make the server easier to navigate and has the other benefit of allowing us to enable the individual voice channel text channels, so now you no mic players can communicate better than ever before.
This is a relatively new feature so it may come with a few bugs and errors, if you run into any bugs or have any issues with the AutoVCs, please DM @mod mail so we can get them sorted :).

"9. Be sure to mark any content that has a likelihood of spoiling someone. This means that for 2 weeks after something major is released you must use Discord's spoiler formatting and include non-spoiler context when submitting the content. This includes GTFO content such as Rundowns, Expeditions, as well as other content like major Movie/TV Show releases, etc. You can use gtfo-spoiler-chat to talk about anything GTFO related without spoiler tagging, outside of there it needs to be tagged if within 2 weeks of release. We expect you all to adhere to this rule and make sure to keep spoilers out of anywhere other than #gtfo-spoiler-chat unless they are marked as spoilers.
We will also be enabling embed perms within #gtfo-spoiler-chat for this spoiler period, so any media relating to R8 should be posted there instead of #gtfo-media. If these embed perms are not abused during this period, we may consider leaving them on after, so be on your best behaviour.

Hello Prisoners!
It has been a very loooong adventure in the Complex. As we escaped from its depths, it's also time for me to put down my trusty spear and sniper and leave the good times and horrors behind as I step down from being an admin and moderator here due to real lifetime constraints making it difficult for me to be able to be a good and reliable admin at two places at once.
It has been an absolute joy seeing this community grow from the tiny server that it was once when I joined more than 5 years ago, watching it blossom into the huge thing that it is now today, and seeing the developer team grow over the years (and relentlessly bullying them lol). I did get attached to these funky rascals under the 10 Chambers flag, so I do not completely abandon the good times - I will just be focusing my attention on the Den of Wolves discord instead, trying to provide support to the devs and to the youngling community, so that it may grow into the wonderful thing that we have here as well.
You all continue being awesome fellas, and remember, Onwards and downwards!

After some discussion within the admin team we have noticed a trend with the GTFO-Speedrunning channel. It is being under-utilised compared to what it used to be, especially with Speedrunning having its own server now. As such, it's mainly become a place of arguments and scams.
With that in mind, we wanted to gague what the community thinks would be best for the channel.

Okay so it seems that the majority of votes think the channel being gone in some regard is for the best, sorry to the 23 people who will be heartbroken at that news.
To commemorate the channel being made read only, I have decided to host a competition.
Speedrunning R3D1.
Rules
No mods, cheats or glitches/bugs.
You must start the level with the same people you finish with.
Submissions must be the whole run from lobby, with loadouts visible, to end screen
End screen timer must be visible at the end of a run.
No boosters.
Runs which are faster than 16 minutes will be rewarded with a unique non coloured vanity role.
Runs faster than 11 minutes will be rewarded with a coloured vanity role for a limited time, which will then be replaced with a non coloured vanity role. Runs which fulfil this criteria will be subject to verification via logs.
The competition will run for a week total, so you have until <t:1740354120:d> to submit a run.
Even if you aren't one of the first teams to complete the challenge, completing a run within the first time limit, 16 minutes, will still reward you with a special vanity role, so don't be discouraged if you're a bit late to the party.

Thank you to everyone who participated, there was a lot more activity than I expected and I was happily surprised.
I am hoping to make this a more common thing, likely once a month for a week we will have a challenge similar to this one, but nothing is concrete yet. Be on the lookout for anymore announcements.

We're letting the speedrunners rest with this one, but rest assured there will be another speedrunning competition next month.
As for this competition, it is a photography contest. Of course not real photography, but GTFO photography, more specifically GTFO screenshots.
The rules for this competition are as follows:
-Must be a screenshot from GTFO taken by you
And that's it for this one. As long as the screenshot is of GTFO and is your own screenshot, you can submit it.
For this challenge there will be 4 categories:
-Scenery: Any pictures of the different GTFO environments specifically.
-Enemies: Any pictures of the beautiful residents of the complex.
-Humour: Pictures which may feature the above two categories but is intended for comedic effect.
-Other/Wild Card: If your screenshot doesn't fit any of the top three categories, use this one.
Each category will have 3 winners, each of which will receive the <@&1076244277652357180> role (Name can be changed if requested by winners) The winners of the categories will be decided by me, unless enough people revolt and want there to be multiple judges.

After careful deliberation and some painful decision making I have managed to find the submissions for the photography competition that I believe are best. Before I get to the winners though, I want to thank every single person who made a submission, I didn't expect there to be nearly as many submissions as there was, 169 in total. Continuing the trend of an announcement a day I want to give a bump to mod applications, cause it's been a long while since we've gotten a new wave of moderators.
Since it's been so long, we have quite a backlog of applications, going back to August of 2023. If you were one of the poor souls who was left in purgatory not knowing if you were accepted, fear not, for we will be looking at all the applications, even the old ones. For this competition I am handling verification differently, instead of all runs being verified by me I will instead be relying on the moderators of the Speedrun.com board. What this means for you is that instead of submitting a video of your run on the google form, you will have to submit your run to speedrun.com and then provide a link to that submission in the form. Of course, with all this in mind I expect everyone to be respectful toward the speedrun.com board and its moderators, If people are reported to me for abusing the site or any of the moderators, there will be consequences on this server alongside anything they decide to do in their own discord/speedrun.com.
Runs which are faster than 50 minutes will be rewarded with a unique non coloured vanity role.
Runs faster than 25 minutes will be rewarded with a coloured vanity role for a limited time, which will then be replaced with a non coloured vanity role.
Runs faster than 20 minutes will be rewarded with a special coloured vanity role for a limited time.

I'm gonna bet no one was expecting this to be the competition, but this one is the:
GTFO parody album competition
What does that mean? It means I randomly got this idea and thought it would be funny.
There's a few categories, all themed about a theoretical GTFO music album:
Lyrics: Parody of an existing song with lyrics changed to be GTFO themed (Can be typed or fully sung if you feel like doing that).
Cover art: Doesn't have to be a parody, as long as it looks like an album cover and is GTFO themed.
Music video: Music video that is GTFO themed, can be done in any form as long as its a video.
Other: Something to do with an album which doesn't fit into any of these categories.
The rules for this competition are as follows:
Must be related to GTFO

For this competition I am handling verification differently, instead of all runs being verified by me I will instead be relying on the moderators of the Speedrun.com board. What this means for you is that instead of submitting a video of your run on the google form, you will have to submit your run to speedrun.com and then provide a link to that submission in the form. Runs which are faster than 30 minutes will be rewarded with a unique non coloured vanity role.
Runs faster than 18 minutes will be rewarded with a coloured vanity role for a limited time, which will then be replaced with a non coloured vanity role.
Runs faster than 16:40 minutes will be rewarded with a special coloured vanity role for a limited time.
This competition will run for 1 week, it will be followed by another competition running R6D1.
Even if you aren't one of the first teams to complete the challenge, completing a run within the first time limit, 30 minutes, will still reward you with a special vanity role, so don't be discouraged if you're a bit late to the party.

We wanted to provide more clarity to everyone on what the Guide role means, what is expected of a Guide, and how you go about earning (and keeping) the role. If you have any questions, please let us know by contacting @prime hull. Here's a TL;DR at the top in case you don't want to read it all:
A Guide is a really helpful user who demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the game, willingness to help others, while being a kind and upstanding member of the server.
We will be updating the list of Guides shortly after the first Alpha of GTFO is released.
What is a Guide?
A Guide is someone who demonstrates exceptional knowledge of the game and the server. They are willing and eager to help others, answer questions, all while being an upstanding member of the server. Users will look up to a Guide, so they need to be able to lead by example and follow the server rules. They need to know when the appropriate time to troll/goof off is, as well as making sure they are careful with their choice of words to prevent misleading others.
What are the expectations?
In addition to the above we expect Guides to be active upstanding members. It's not a title for sake of collecting titles, nor does it grant any free rides or any authority. If you have any Twitch/Social Media accounts connected to your Discord then we will be occasionally reviewing those. Anything in this list (including but not limited to) would disqualify you:
Racism, Sexism, Hate Speech, Anti-Semitism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Rape, Suicide, Remarks relating to disability, etc
What are the qualifications?
At a minimum to become eligible and stay a Guide, users must meet the following extensive criteria:
Activity: We're looking for users who are active both in the server in general, as well as in GTFO related channels like #gtfo-chat, #gtfo-related-questions, #gtfo-technical-support, helping users become an Ambassador, etc.
Mannerisms: You should be extremely polite, civil and respectful of all members of the server. If someone asks a question, even if it seems obvious or answer 1,000 times already, you should be polite to the user. Overall you should be well liked by other members of the server.
Ability to answer questions: You should frequently answer questions that relate to GTFO and be willing to help users wherever possible. You should be recognised by the active members of the server by your name, not a "Who's that" if we ask about you.
Passion: You should be genuinely passionate about the game and should not be doing this merely to obtain a role.
Infractions: You should have a relatively clean infraction history. We understand not everyone is perfect.
How do I apply? When are Guides chosen?
You don't apply for Guide. We as mods will recognize your efforts and reach out to you if we feel you deserve the recognition. The first adjustment to the Guide list will happen shortly after the first Alpha to give the current Guides time to review this information and adjust accordingly, as well as gives everyone else time to put their best foot forward over an extended period of time. After that adjustments will be made as needed and not on any specific schedule.

We wanted to try something with the goal of making the #gtfo-game-suggestions channel more streamlined and easy to read. Instead of directly typing a suggestion in the channel you'll use:
?suggestion your suggestion here
@urban python will then copy that idea over to the suggestions channel, and add upvote/downvote reactions. This will make sure that suggestions do not get lost because of discussions, while still allowing the community to voice your opinion about suggestions in the form of arrows. It'll also allow the devs to be able to read through the channel easier as they'll be able to quickly see the suggestions and how many votes it receives. If you wish to discuss a suggestion more in-depth, please do it in the #gtfo-chat.
The command can only be used in #gtfo-chat or #bot-commands
We kindly ask you all to not abuse this command (or the bot spam chat), so that the developers can easily browse through all the interesting suggestions that you or other members of the community have!

I wanted to take this time to thank the entire GTFO community for your support - the 10 Chambers developers really appreciate it, and without it none of this could have been possible.
In preparation for the Alpha on Monday the 28th at 7 AM Pacific, we have made a couple server updates:
We've created a lot more Voice Channels for you guys to use while playing. We'll keep monitoring them and create more as needed. If anyone is being disruptive in a voice channel, please send a Private Message to @prime hull and our mod team can assist.
All Voice Channels now allow you to use the "Go Live" streaming feature if you want to use it. Please remember our rules and keep it SFW, don't disrupt others, etc.
We've raised the user limit from 4 to 6 in some of the voice channels so others can watch/listen if you desire. If you need a different user limit set on a channel, just send a Private Message to @prime hull and our mod team can assist.
We've created multiple LFG (Looking For Group) channels by region. Please remember to keep the messages in English but you can state if you are looking for someone that speaks a different language.
If you haven't received an Alpha key yet, please visit #633424987889598484. In addition we have #bug-reporting and #known-issues to help with those aspects.
Lastly, if you are a Streamer or Content Creator you can post your social media in #live-streams.
This to showcase the amazing Content Creators and Streamers of GTFO, not for a "I've gone live" each time you stream or release new content.
Please keep the promotion to once per 72 hours.
In addition your content must fall within our rules, so if it contains racism, hate speech, sexism, etc then it will not be allowed.

Hey all,
I know many of you have been patiently waiting to hear news about who the new guides are going to be. We're not satisfied with how we implemented the guide program, so we're suspending it for a while so we can marinate it and put it back in the oven to cook longer. We don't know at this time what the new guide program will be like, but we do know we want to make changes to it, to make it better. Just like the 10 Chambers devs care about quality of the game, we care about quality of the server, and it's not up to our quality standards yet.
Once we have more information on the guide program, we'll let you know. Until then we want to thank all of you, including our current guides who have been extremely helpful and patient with us.

Got a couple announcements for you as we head into the Beta.
We've opened up the Looking For Group channels again, you can find them near the bottom of the list.
If you are downloading the Beta fresh, it will be 3.3 GB download, 10 GB extracted. If you are going from the Alpha build to the Beta then it will be a 1 GB download.
New Policy: Discussions around GTFO Data Mining will not be permitted. This includes sharing how to data mine, uploading screenshots/files, sharing info about what is found in the files, etc. This is due to the 10 Chambers developers wanting you to be able to experience the game how they imagine, and not having you spoiled ahead of time by something you may see.
We are proud to announce our new Highlighted Communities channel, where we will be able to showcase some of the best GTFO community servers! Example communities include regional language based servers, clan servers, or similar fan communities. The channel will be open as soon as we receive and review enough submissions. To have your community listed, the server must follow these guidelines:

The community must be GTFO related.

First of all, we wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year. 10 Chambers has a lot planned for the future of the game and are grateful for all of you being here and supporting GTFO. I'm excited for what the new year will bring, and hope all of you are as well.

Lastly, we are temporarily halting the #highlighted-communities submissions. Hey all, just a quick update regarding some housekeeping on this server.
We've updated the following channels:
#welcome - Fixed role mentions, added more info on how to contact our mod team, updated some channel links.
#faq - Updated some of them due to the game being released. Changed number 6 to mention the topic of VR.
#rules - We updated rule 3 to be more lenient regarding foreign languages, but do still try to keep in English were possible.
We've added #gtfo-speed-running as a lot of people are enjoying trying to see how quickly they can complete an Expedition.
We've retired #gtfo-best-of - Please post them in #gtfo-media instead.
We've also done some special stuff for our Nitro Boosters:
They are now hoisted on the sidebar
They have a special text and voice channel just for their use
Lastly, we've split the LFG-Europe into #lfg-eastern-europe and #lfg-western-europe to help cover some regional gaps.

Hey all,
Back when we were a much smaller server, the media-and-memes channel was a great place for some light hearted memes, funny images, and other content shared with each other. As we've grown in size to now 150,000 users it's turned into a place filled with vile and disgusting dark humor, violance, gore, and at times even porn and other Not Safe For Work media. As a Verified server we have an image to uphold, one that is safe and welcoming for everyone, and that is not a place for that type of vile content.
It's unfortunately reached a point where the frequency of the vile content being posted if far more often than we are comfortable with which puts our server and users at risk. As such, we have removed the media-and-memes channel. There is not any place to put any off topic media and memes anymore.
GTFO related media and memes are still allowed in #gtfo-media, but if anything but GTFO content is posted in there we will action on it.
You may post very rarely media in #general so long as it is related to an active discussion going on. Do not put a media item in #general if it isn't related to a topic going on. Very rarely is defined as once every few hours or longer. The #general channel is for primary server discussion and anyone abusing that will be actioned on as well for spam.

Many of you have asked us to add more emotes to the server, and I'm happy to announce that we have a process in place to make that happen. If you have an idea or suggestion for an emote we can add please use the following form to put in a request. Our team will then review and make a decision. Overall we're looking for high quality emotes that can be seen both in light mode and dark mode of discord and can be easily identified on what they are when in emote size. New Mods - First of all please send warm welcome to our new moderators @radiant tree and @merry vector, who will be helping us with keeping the server a welcoming environment to all, The Warden will make sure that they are well trained and broken for the job!
Spoilers - We know that some of you have had trouble with spoilers after Rundown 2 came out, being accidently spoiled or spoilering someone else when it was not your intention, we have had a discussion and have had found (a possibly good) solution to this problem.
We have created a #gtfo-spoiler-chat a place where you can talk about newly released content without having to put the spoiler tag on. However in every other channels we ask all members to use the spoiler tag for everything that is new content for the game for 2 weeks after it has been released (expeditions, enemies... etc. This includes ludvig leaks as well!).
During Rundown 2's release we were lenient on spoilers, but we will be focusing more on enforcing this rule from now on to be fair.
LFG-Beginners - We have also decided to try out something that has been requested by a lot of you - a newbie looking for groups channel called #lfg-beginners. This is the place where new players can look for other new players to play with or to play with players who are willing to teach (and not just carry) and get them acquainted with the game.
We ask players to please use this channel appropriately, this channel is meant for new players and those who wish to teach them, if you are a regular or hardcore player please use the other looking for group channels.
On the note of looking for group, please only post lfg posts to your region + one or two regions every couple of minutes if you are looking for a game.

As The Warden is sending you guys down into The Complex once more with Rundown 3, we would like to remind everyone about our spoiler policy.
After the release of Rundown 3 all content that is within the Rundown will be protected by the spoiler rule, which means that for the upcoming 2 weeks if you want to talk about Rundown 3 content (expeditions, weapons...etc) you can either do freely in #gtfo-spoiler-chat or in another relevant channel but you must use the spoiler formatting, example: ||Spoiler marked text||.
This spoiler "lockdown" will lift on the 25th of June, from which point on you will no longer be required to use the spoiler tag at all when talking about Rundown 3. Please be respectful to eachother, and make sure that you do not accidently spoil the fun to anyone.

It has caused a lot of confusion in the past as to what we are counting as image spam, especially when it comes to the #gtfo-media channel. We have wanted to find a way to clear things up and to communicate it better to you guys, so us moderators have had a discussion and have concluded the following:
》 Sharing the same image more than twice under 24 hours will count as image spam. We understand that for example artists would like to get their art seen by a lot of people, however we also believe that sharing an image more than twice under 24 hours is unnecessary.
》 Re-posting the same image more than 3 times under 24 hours even if it's done by different users will be counted as spam. This is so people cannot loophole around the first point.
》 Posting the same image more than 7 times a month will also count as spam. Again, we understand that you might have a very cool image or clip to share, but seeing the same image each day in the channel does get tiresome.
This list will be pinned in the #gtfo-media channel as well, and hopefully this answers some of the questions you might have had about how we judge image spamming.

I come with good news. First of all, phone verification has been turned off once again, so all of you who have had trouble using the server due to it should have an easier time now. A new bot has been added to the server in order to help filter out the malicious links that have been spammed in the past weeks or so. As with anything new there can be hiccups. There is a chance that the bot can flag infrequently used (but safe) links and delete them. If this happens please send a message to mod mail about it, and the moderation team will take a look. With the alarming amount of scammers popping back up to the surface, we'd like to give a reminder to not click on random links. If you see one of these scams or someone has DM'd you about some offer of fradulent purchasing, Steam accounts being fasely reported and/or the user claiming to leave a game community such as CS:GO with a fake Steam link, Do not click any of those links nor fall for the scams.
Instead, please report it to us by DMing (private messaging) @Mod Contact or @ moderator where you see the link shared in the channel that our bot might've missed. If it happened in DMs make sure to report it to Discord's TnS (dis.gd/request).

A lot of you have been bringing it to our attention that the voice channel invites no longer work as they used to, but instead send a server invite - this does not only affect our server, but other servers as well that use a vanity invite.
~~We have reached out to Discord about this, and for now, we have received the reply that this is an intentional feature. This means that sadly from the moderation team side we cannot do anything to remedy this situation for now. We are awfully sorry about the confusion and annoyance that this is causing in advance. ~~
For now, we are suggesting the following alternatives:
Write down which channel you are in in your LFG post. For example "In VC 34".
If you have developer mode enabled in your setting (you can enable this in the "advanced" option within settings), you can right-click the channel name and then"copy ID". Once the channel ID is on your clipboard, you can insert it into this form: <#ChannelID>. This will create a link to the channel.
We hope that the above helps to clear up some confusion, and give you prisoners some alternatives while we are dealing with the situation.
UPDATE - We have found a solution to the problem, all voice channel invites should work as they used to now!

After several requests, The Warden has allowed us to move the LFG category closer to the voice channels. Now, you will be able to find them just above the voice channels, that way you do not need to make that insane climb or drop between them.

During the weekend we have had some problems with members not following the rules of this community, especially regarding old rundowns and not complying with moderators’ warnings. I have a good temper but I will not tolerate mocking our moderators and staff. Either by ignoring the warnings or childish behavior like changing your name as a result of your warning. My DM:s are open if you want to discuss anything related to this.

I'm sure that you are all eager to dive into The Complex and experience the expeditions that The Warden has granted us access to, however, I would like to remind everyone to please be considerate and avoid spoiling other players. Anything that is not mentioned in the changelog for extension is considered a spoiler, so please use the spoiler tag when discussing specifics about the extension (such as objectives, events...etc.), or go to #gtfo-spoiler-chat where you can talk about it freely without the risk of ruining the fun of someone. This spoiler tag restriction does not apply to the #gtfo-lore channel either, as that channel has always been spoiler heavy due to it's theme, but please mind what you are sharing in the other channels.

A very small server update for today. As we created a handful of forms for the server, we realized that the only way to find them was this very channel. So, for easier access, we have decided to create a channel where you will be able to find all the forms for server-related stuff, such as emote/sticker submissions, and the moderator and highlighted communities applications. Today I have a short, but important news related to the server!
The developers have expanded upon our rules to add more clarity related to playing older Rundowns, which is now the 13th rule, and reads as the following:
Please do not play older Rundowns on the server, nor encourage or show others how to play them. While we recognize that some of you might be disappointed that you are no longer able to play older content, or would like to relive some old memories, playing them goes against the game's Rundown concept, taking away its very essence. This server being one of the most crucial parts of matchmaking, we would like to ensure that all players are on the same "page" (or in this case, Rundown), and respect the developer's concept for the game.
The devs recognise that previously this was not clearly stated, and we would like to apologise for any confusion that this might have caused in the past, but we hope that this new addition to the rules section will make things more transparent going forward. As always, if you have any feedback related to the server, please feel free to send a mod mail, or message our lovely beard overlord CM, @kindred dragon !

Hey prisoners, we have yet another quick but important update about the modding rules.
The devs have added a new part to rule #12 to make it more clear which mods are allowed within videos posted to the server as we've seen a rise of videos using this mod. After discussion both from the dev team and moderation team, it was decided that they should be allowed. The following has been added:
The use of cinematic camera mods within videos is exempt from this rule, so that content creators are not limited in their creativity.

I am pretty sure that we all are really excited to finally receive Rundown 7, and to dive into The Complex once to do The Warden's bidding. However, as with all Rundowns, we would like to ask everyone using the server to please be considerate of one another, and spoiler tag content that is not explicitly mentioned in the change list or is shown in the trailer, or use #gtfo-spoiler-chat in the upcoming ~2 week period. After that, this will no longer be necessary. Please be respectful to each other, and do not spoiler others when you can help it!

While the developers are enjoying their well-deserved vacation, sadly discord scammers do not go on one, and are still just as persistent as ever. This announcement just serves as your usual reminder to exercise caution while on Discord. Do not click on links that seem too good to be true, do not download files sent from random people or even friends if it seems malicious, and do not scan QR codes that you are not sure are 100% safe. Keeping your account safe has been harder than ever due to scammers' techniques evolving, but with some common sense and basic internet safety practices, you can keep your account safe easily.
If you are messaged by random people with weird links and promises or see a server link that looks suspicious, please do not hesitate to contact the moderation team via@prime hull . We are trying our best to keep this server as clear of them as possible, but we appreciate and need all heads up so we can act fast.

Hello there Prisoners!
While the developers are on vacation, we, on the moderation team side have been busy bees and decided to cook something up for you!
A while back a discord server feedback form was made, we went through the answers and made notes on what you guys would like to see. One of the most requested things turned out to be the community polls, so here we are!
A new channel under the name called #community-polls has been created, where we will be asking you some questions bi-weekly or so. These questions will more often than not be GTFO related of course and can be either meme-y or serious, but in the end, they are all for fun!
Some questions will be a simple "react with this emote" kind of deal, while others will be more discussion-based, for which you can use the appropriate gtfo channels. If we see that it causes issues, a thread can be created for these polls discussion later down in the line.
I hope you enjoy this little slice of fun (the first little poll is going up soon!), and that everyone is enjoying their summer to the fullest, either outside or in front of their PC, playing their favorite game away!
