Still not really the problem, you can have him constantly switching targets and he's still not a threat.
He's only a threat when his AI accidentally tells him to run straight into your hiding spot.

Shadows, requires you to play around information more and understand how enemies act to deal with them.
makes for some really fun experiences
shadows are a lot of fun, but after you learn how they work, they pretty much just become basic enemies if you have a biotracker

im not sure what causes it for most regular scans
but the best thing u can do (as host) is just hit esc and set the slot to players only
then change back to players & bots
so they respawn
but keep in mind it will DELETE any resource pack they might be holding
and it probably does the same for consumables(? not actually sure)
and if u meant just regular scans (not team scans)
no u can't really do anything about it
their ai is just too dumb currently to figure out what scan they should pick

Can someone please explain to me the maths behind damage falloff in gtfo or link me to somewhere that explains it

Damage falls off linearly per meter past its initial range and eventually reaches 0 damage at max range. The numbers are different for each gun, but the formula is the same.
Using the pistol as an example it has 6 meter range before falloff begins, and reaches 0 damage at 45 meters. 45 - 6 = 39 so there are 39 meters where damage will decrease. Pistol does 4.39 damage so you can divide 4.39/39 = 0.1125641 to see how much damage the pistol loses per meter beyond its base range. If you are shooting an enemy at 10 meters you can see 4.39 - (0.1125641 * 4) = 3.93974359 damage.
Using the machine pistol as an example it has 4 meter range before falloff begins, and reaches 0 damage at 40 meters. 40 - 4 = 36 so there are 36 meters where damage will decrease. Machine pistol does 1.45 damage so you can divide 1.45/36 = 0.04027778 to see how much damage the machine pistol loses per meter beyond its base range. If you are shooting an enemy at 15 meters you can see 1.45 - (0.04027778 * 11) = 1.00694442 damage.
Basically you do damage/(max range - base range) = falloff per meter then you can calculate the damage for a weapon at any range. If the enemy is within the base range, then the weapon deals normal damage, if the enemy is outside that range you can do damage - (falloff per meter * (distance from enemy - base range)) = damage dealt
This is the result of my personal testing, so if anyone has something data mined or if this is wrong somehow please let me know. This has not proven to be wrong in my experience though and I am fairly sure it is accurate enough

It’s a technicality. Occiput doesn’t exist. You are getting the head hit box, while also getting the damage multi from behind an enemy.
Back multi is based off the player position relative to the enemy and not necessarily based off hitting them in the back. The range for back damage scales depending on how far behind them you are. Even standing to the side of the enemy can give a small amount of bonus damage
There is a sweet spot where the multi caps at 2x
Rayalot sent me a video a while back where he 1 shot a striker to the head with the dmr without behind fully behind them

Question: whats the spawn cheese in DX and how do you do it?
I suppose you mean the one in Alpha III area, so rush to where top terminal is, go in the small area to the east and camp there for 5+ minutes. Some flyers will spawn in bottom level and stuck then eventually reach spawn cap then you could do uplink with no enemies.

I have been searching for like a full hour but how tf do you lift the door lockdown in BX. It just says use a terminal but i cant find any that will actually do it. Anyone know how to fix it
from big room terminal on the bridge, go east, scan door, go all the way back, get key from there
then scan door south with key, go to terminal there, LOGS, read KEY01_xxx.log
get the password xxxx , setup for big alarm (close mine foam doors etc), use password xxxx on bridge terminal, type in commands
override_lockdown or something .. then endure for a bit and enjoy
tip: go to the western ledge back against the wall, easy defend from there

You know something is fucked up when no one can seriously tell if R7 will reset the configs because of a bug or not
well my settings randomly reset sometime during 6.5. Never played any other rundown. So if it can happen randomly wouldn't be surprised if it changes with a whole new rundown

but those people also don't understand that trying to keep old levels up to date is not free
i would personally settle on at least some tutorial-ish levels in same/similar format

Each rundown is self contained, all the lore is available on multiple websites and discords, you aren't missing out on anything except that particular set of tiles and objectives in that particular order

R2 had some banger levels on the C and D tiers.

I forget, how does the difficulty scale with rundown missions? Would B2 be (on average) harder than C1, or do the letters directly correspond to difficulty?
i remember hearing somewhere that A1-D1 is usually the easiest followed by 2-3-4 missions, but I may be wrong
E is harder than D which is harder than C which is harder than B which is harder than A

How do I find something with ping as a solo? When I leave the terminal the pinging stops even using -T
better question is, how to use the terminal
There are two things you can gather, when using ping:
a) it tells you the area (A, B, C, ...) of the Zone, where the object is
b) after entering the ping, press esc, but do not move away from the Terminal. You can rotate, and the ping will go through. You will get a green locater beacon popping up for a short time, giving you a good direction hint.
Not perfect but it helps. Normally searching is the best way, when soloing.

if you reload gun in the middle of a burst, you can't reload anymore
Confirmed, and this is identical to previous rundown, if you press escape during reload animation, your weapon will be stuck until you swap weapons.
This actually affect carbine player a lot...it's very likely you press reload one frame sooner than suddenly your carbine is "jammed".
All environments have a parent complex. There are 3 total for the 7 environments in-game.
The gardens as as much an extension of floodways as datacenter is an extension of labs.

the rundown is like a season, goes on for months, things change between each one. each game you stay equipped with whatever you had last. boosters are gone once you use them

pump shotty has a clip size of 8 and (via reload cancel) a faster reload
which means you get a lot more uptime out of it, and don't have to find as large a window for reloads

if you want to stay on the same weapon that you're reloading, then cancelling using shove (bound to C by default) and then switching back to the weapon is fastest
but tbh I don't use shove

it's based on how long players take to load in. If your host has shit net and with a party of ppl all over the place it's gonna take a lot longer

So a counter of 4,2,2,1 means that I've beaten the level (main objective) 4 times out of which 2 times I've beaten a secondary, 2 times an overload and at least once I've done so in the same run.

There is a specific type of enemy where tagging is necessary for any turret to shoot it at all, so it's good to be in the habit of always tagging regardless of whether there is a bonus.
Before setting a checkpoint, always have your players put carried items on the floor. This game has a history of those items being messed up when respawning.

All resources are in boxes but boxes count as a separate sort of entity to the terminals, so it'll show both resources and boxes (and since not all boxes have resources...)

Same as R6 really (at least now that's HEL Gun is gone) - Heavy AR and Sniper rifle.
Sniper to delete big boys, HAR if you want something thats versatile at basically any range and against any enemy.
