I think prime Rex being surprisingly fast isn't nearly as big an issue as its ability to play the long game and trot things down. The ambusher apex being able to trot things down is poor balance and counter-intuitive. The ambusher apex being able to catch things in a surprise burst is within expectations.

Imo Speed shouldn't change after hitting adult. It should stay the same for adult, frail and prime. Old Primes should have less stamina though. Meaning if you spot the big guy earlier, you can evade it. The more you mess with speed, the harder (WAY HARDER) is to balance things. Especially as more playables gets added.

I mean I killed about 4 rexes today as stego. Rex players have no idea how to play rex so it's not really difficult most of the time. That Rex that I died to due to a stick stunning be was probably heavier with 3-4 tons than me, still got his ass kicked. if the game wasn't trying to end my passion, that rex would've died on spot

Stego is pretty strong against rex in a 1v1. IMO its got the advantage but the second you are outnumbered it becomes one rex tanks a swing while the other crushes you and stuns and then the other rex gets unstunned and now you are fractured and dead lol

Even against a good rex I think stego has the advantage. The range on the tail swing + the bleed is super hard to deal with for a rex and its not like most people practice the fight in admin servers. They grow a rex and then try to fight a stego for the first time and stego stomps them

Rex is not friendly to people who are not practicing as it cause of the long growth time not allowing you to try fights and fail

If you are on evrima you can spawn next to your friend. When you spawn in go to the group menu in the character screen and click on the spawn code and send it to your friend and then they can copy it in the spawn menu somewhere to spawn next to you

spawn code stays around for 5 minutes after you first spawn in so you gotta be quick
