for those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it
--------------------------------- 1 -------------------------------
Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.
----------------------------------2--------------------------------

• Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
• Properties
• Local Files
• Browse
• Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
• Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.
• Return to Properties / Local Files
• Verify integrity of the game files.

  For anyone else with this issue, go to the game directory

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

(Update windows may work too if none of these doesnt work)

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

Just config should work, but it's not a big problem deleting the whole folder.
You'll lose the skins you saved in presets though

But the game is currently very dark at night by default, how bad is it for you ?

And even after fixing the Anti-Cheat issue to play, When you try to come back later on, It's broken again and you get all new problems now. What was the point of Stress test.. It solved no launch issues It seems... So annoyed.

But you can also try finding some Unofficial servers, they usually have more spots open

Heres what I tried so far:
verify game files, restart pc, uninstall and reinstall, uninstall + power cycle + reinstall, swap to legacy(which worked) then swap back and verify game files, and deleting this file then verifying game files.

A trick to get a decent fps boost is hit LCtrl+LShift+Esc and then look for google chrome taking the most space (looking yellow-ish) and end task

That's a different error. Usually fixed by firewall exclusions, as well as checking that you aren't running anything in the background that may conflict with EAC. That also includes certain RGB softwares from ASUS.

New video on how to open EVRIMA on GeForce Now just dropped. It can be summarized in the following steps.

1. Open Steam and enter Family Mode
2. Open GeForce Now and select The Isle
3. A message will appear saying that GeForce Now will not launch The Isle because the game isn’t available in Family Mode. Then click “OK”.
4. Open Full Picture Mode. Disable Family Mode.
5. Start downloading EVRIMA by going to Properties > Betas > EVRIMA public branch
   • A message may appear saying you don’t own the game. Ignore the message, and do not close it yet. Wait until the game is opened and then you can close that pop up message.

• right click “The Isle” in your steam library
• go to “Manage”
• go to “Browse local files”
• Click “Install Anti-Cheat”

Sadly, no. I haven’t been able to get into the servers at all. It’s sounding like something’s wrong with the servers themselves. Devs will probably have to hotfix to get it working.
