Hello, I’m having an issue when trying to join any server in The Isle. Every time I attempt to connect, the game just keeps loading indefinitely and never actually lets me join the server. I’m not sure what’s causing the problem, and I’ve already tried multiple servers with the same result.

I’m wondering if it could be related to my internet connection, my game files, or maybe another issue with my computer or settings. I’m not very sure what to do next, so I would really appreciate any help or suggestions on how to fix this problem.

hi guys! i need help, im trying to enter evrima but it get stuck in scanning all frequencies, i have done all this and nothing: 1. Hard Refresh the Server List
Sometimes the UI gets caught in a soft-lock.
Immediately after hitting Play and opening the server list, click the Refresh button.
Do not wait for "Scanning All Frequencies" to complete. This forces a manual ping and often bypasses the stuck state.
2. Check for Server Downtime
The issue might not be on your end.
Check for official network outages or game updates on the Official The Isle Discord.
Sometimes, Epic Online Services (EOS) experience temporary outages, which will prevent the server browser from populating.
3. Verify Game File Integrity
Corrupted game files or missing updates will stop the client from scanning properly.
Open your Steam Library, right-click The Isle, and select Properties.
Go to the Installed Files (or Local Files) tab.
Click Verify integrity of game files and let the process finish before restarting your game.

Hey everyone! I'm experiencing a very frustrating issue with Troo. The RMB leap/pounce works perfectly fine, but ONLY when I look straight ahead. If I tilt my camera even slightly upward (to jump onto a rock or a tree), the jump breaks completely. When I press RMB while looking up, my stamina gets drained, but the dinosaur stays completely still on the ground - no jump or pounce animation plays at all.

What I’ve already tried (none of this worked): Deleted the Saved folder, Verified game files on Steam, Tested this on multiple official and community servers; died and respawned as a fresh juvie - the issue persists everywhere.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

a crash can be anything. Can be an issue with the spot you are in the map, too high graphics, too high fps, components not working properly, bad communication between them, drivers, bios, overclocking, etc

it is the first session yes. She had 180-200 fps in this game at first. but for some reason here and there it drops to 20 or even 1-10 for a few minutes

The game unloads and reloads part of the map and culls and re renders stuff all the time, but try restarting the computer and playing again, sometimes you just need to run a game twice for it to initialise correctly

The problem persists. My PC restarts only when playing The Isle Evrima, especially on full servers. Other demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth Wukong work perfectly fine.

Ah unfortunately I'm not sure what causes that, afaik it's a fairly generic crash message. Try doing a clean reinstallation of the game by deleting all of the game files in Steam and in Appdata/Local

Hey all, having a strange issue with the fps cap limits. When I set it to 60, it only ever stays around 40-50 fps. When it's set to 120 cap, it reaches its limit to 120 as normal, which means my pc is perfectly fine with attaining higher fps. It tends to run hotter at 120 cap though so i don't like having it that high, however the 60fps cap just never has it stay at 60. So i'm stuck with undesirable fps if i keep it that way.

I cleared config yesterday, updated my gpu drivers. I use an rtx 4070.

Sound can be affected by the CPU and GPU struggling, try limiting your fps to a value below what you normal get, for example if you normally reach 80fps, set your cap to 60fps for better stability.. also update your Audio and GPU drivers as well

So if I put the window in fullscreen it actually glitches becoming larger than the screen but if I press "reset" it fixes it without restarting so I usually press "cancel" and it's fixed but since I can't change the setting I have to do this every time I open the game since it always starts in "windowed"

Also each time I open the game it asks me if I want to allow the changes on my computer as if I just installed the game (that might be why it's always on predefinite settings)

Yea mine does that too and honestly I don't know how to fix it LOL. But for the settings not saving, it's possible that the settings file is set to Read Only which would prevent any changes from being saved. It might not be your issue, though
Go back to Appdata/Local, open TheIsle, open Saved, then Config, then WindowsClient.
Right click on GameUserSettings.ini, click Properties, and see if the Read Only box is enabled

Was playing the game as a herrerasaurous in a tree when a deinosucous came out of the river. I jumped on it then climbed back up a tree and the deino proceeded to crawl slowly accross the ground then into the sky as pictured in this screen capture. make sure gpu drives are all updated using your manufacturer app (nvidia app, adrenalin, intel app), double check windows updates and see if youre able to update your bios if none of that worked

I have heard that in HT there is an area on the map that will crash people out, and they cant leave as every time that you start the game in the same area it crashes, so it may be that it's not from your end, and they patch this issue out, could send them a bug report to get their attention https://discord.com/channels/401464048610312193/783214088456896513

Hey everyone. I played a lot of the old Isle years ago, and pumped over a hundred hours into it. Months ago, I decided to give the evrima version a try, but eventually dropped it because it increased the temp of my CPU too much even though I had the pc specs to run it properly, so I just uninstalled it again. However, I installed it again recently, but when I tried to run it the game straight up turned my entire computer off. I've deleted the local files in the common steamapps folder, as well as the files located after typing %localappdata%, and made sure to verify the files integrity after re-installing the game, but it still crashes my whole pc. Is there any known fix to this issue?

your GPU (GTX 1650) has very little vram available to work, meaning it asks for your system for more space. That's how you get increased latency and less fps

nope.. im only using the normal windows defender and i already did disable it but it had the same outcome..

Hi! Can someone help me with my replays? I want to watch my replays but most of them showing "available in 30 minutes" for couple of months now. Is there a way to debug this? Restarting the game one hundred times and waiting a month didn't help

@terse kayak sorry its taken a while to get to you! at the moment the game auto defaults to the old version of the game when you first install. You need to do the following to get onto the new version

• right click the game in steam > Properties > Game Versions and Betas > Select Evrima > Close the window
• Update the game and launch
  If you encounter any more problems or have questions, give me a ping here and ill get to you when i can! am also happy to voice call should you need further more in depth assistance

Me and my friend are both trying to connect to the same server (we live in different regions of Russia). I have successfully connected for 3 times and she didn't connect once, though she keeps trying to for the last half of hour. That doesn't look like she always encounters the full server problem and I, for some reason, overpass it multiple times

probably not i have a rather decent pc and my cpu usage doesnt get above 65% while playing so i doubt it would be a background application causing it and it tends to be the only game that does it and it always has done it

We're trying to connect to multiple hordtest servers, I have successfully connected to US3 which hasy108/115, she couldn't. She tried to connect to US2 which had 92/115, still the same error

aye hordetest servers are rather quick to fill so whilst you get in it may be full by the time she tries. they are also rather unstable as is the nature of HT.

its using up far too much of your GPU, which would indicate one of two things.
1 theres a bottle neck with your hardware or 2 youre running settings that are over what the card can handle
