Remove all launch options.
You cannot force the game to launch with DX11.
If you originally had the "DX12 is not supported by your system" issue, you simply need to update your graphics card's drivers and Windows, assuming your GPU supports at least feature level 12_0 and still reveices driver support.

Not clear. You went from Evrima to Legacy? Is that right?

It sounds like you just have control issues though. This will fix it:
If playing the game, close it.
In your Windows search bar, type %localappdata% and hit enter.
Locate the Isle folder, open it.
Open the Saved folder.
Delete the Config folder.
Relaunch the game.
(Note: this will also reset your custom settings.)

Hi! One of my players on my server has been having some issues with their game since the 6.5 update...they've tried deleting save files to no avail, however if they don't delete the save files everytime they log in they cannot play at all. Now they're having an additional issue of even after safe logging they come back to a dead dino. As we don't always do free grows this is obviously an issue. Can anyone suggest something i can do to help this player? I feel like they need to completely uninstall and reinstall but I'm not sure that this will fix the issue?

Verify the game files through Steam:
On Steam, right click on The Isle > Properties > Installed files > click on ”Verify the integrity of the files”.
Launch the game again and see if it's fixed.

Anyone have any tips on how to potentially fix an audio issue? In Evrima when I'm near any source of running water or am running through very bushy areas my audio distorts bad.

Give them your username and the exact server you are on.

Hey guys. I got the game last week. I had to update my Windows and my Graphic drivers (manually) to make "Evrima" start (after Windows Update it worked). For three days the game was doing fine with only one or two crashes while connecting to a server. The day after, without me changing anything, it started crashing ingame. Sometimes while connecting/ loading the map, sometimes it lets me play like 10 minutes before crashing. What I tried already: reinstalling graphic drivers, deleting the "Saved" file, verifying game files via steam, "configure The Isle to use your dedicated GPU", Dx12 reinstall, setting fps limit to 60, setting all graphic settings to lowest, reinstalling the game after deleting all files(multiple times). So far nothing worked and I have found only 1 other person online who had the same "1273" error (but no solution). The Isle "Legacy" is running without problems. Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core 3200 MHz, main-board: CROSSHAIR VI HERO

Someone said they fixed that by updating their Windows and their BIOS. Only update your BIOS if you are feeling comfortable doing that and know what you're doing, though.

That could very well be the issue, you could try messing around with the config to fix lower the shadowmap resolution, but even on my rig Lumen pushes Vram usage to upwards of 11-12Gb of usage.

Sadly I am not all that familiar with the negative effects of the Lumen as I haven't experience many issues.

From what I've seen the actual raytraced reflections are inconsistent, some water uses SSR, other water uses actual RT reflections, so that might be the issue.

Try this:
Go on Steam, right-click on The Isle.
Select ”Properties”, go to ”Installed files”, then click ”Browse”.
There you will see a file called UninstallAntiCheat. Click on it.
Nothing will visibly happen: that is normal.
Then, click on the file called InstallAntiCheat.
Once again, nothing will visibly happen: that is still normal.
Run the game again. Your issue should be fixed.

i keep getting this from time to time i have deleated everything and redownloaded the game but i can play it for few days and after that i keep getting this

I think a reboot might solve this but it is strange that it keeps happening

Was testing after the most recent update/bugfix. I do after each one for each location.
