Suggestion regarding the roadmap:
Adding more dinosaurs before troodon (There's a bonus, but that's just for reading and future consideration, under the spoiler tag)
Reasoning:
You (the devs), have stated that once basic mechanics are done, adding new dinosaurs would be rather easier. That being said, venom/poison is a kind of specific trait to some dinosaurs so it's something that will take lots of work, like it did with swimming, flying, diets, fractures, etc.
And one of the things that many have enjoyed in the past was the wide range of available animals to play.
So how easy/fast could work be done on animals that don't rely on venom/poison? Mostly animations and balance I think would be the priority here, asides from vocals. Bear in mind: None of these candidates are a specific choice, I'm just listing the options. But for community's sake, I'll list numbers for the current trello ones.
This being said, the most likely candidates to drop before, like in update 5.5 and 6.5 (by moving troodon's update down to update 7) from the trello would be (in order):
Herbivores:
1️⃣ Galli
2️⃣ Kentro
3️⃣ Magy*
Carnivores:
4️⃣ Cerato*
5️⃣Herrera******
Omnivores
6️⃣ Beipiaosaurus
7️⃣ Oviraptor (lower on the list because we need more life around water sources)
- Cerato and Magy would ideally come together in an update. I put them both with an asterisk for the old idea of "poisonous meat" magy (which doesn't sound good, honestly) and the possibility of a sceptic bite from Cerato (seen some people suggest that, and if it's taken in consideration, it should come after Troodon's update along with Dilo).
**** Possibly unlikely, since it requires climbing work, which in on itself would likely deserve it's own update
||Dinosaurs that would fit the "small" roster idea for evrima that are not in the trello and require heavy work but should be concidered to be brought onto the evrima spotlight:||
||H: Protoceratops, Minmi, Diablo, Ava, Oro, Psittaco||
||C: Velociraptor, Mono (depends on it's abilities, needs concept), Baryonyx (needs new model, textures, animations, calls, and concept. highly unlikely, but it's at least smaller than Sucho. All other carnivore options are too large).||
||*Flyers: Tupandactylus (not a 100% confirmed, would be an ideal addition as a frugivore/omnivore flyer. One great issue: no information, concept, model or anything). Quetz (Large but not extremely gamebreaking, still, new concept, so no model, calls, etc.) Both mentioned to bring variety, but are a long way ahead before we see anything||
