Honestly, I love majority of the map changes, especially the south plains one. The new trees on SP gives off a little bit of Savannah vibes, which I love to death. Love the new human buildings/structures, tho it needs optimization. Sometimes I get pretty nasty performance when I'm close those new human places. While I don't hate Highlands as much as many people I've seen so far, it definitely needs changes and I don't want to see green stuff there, or atleast not much. ** Give sanctuary to Highlands, it's massively painful to spawn on HL and reach any of the sanctuaries even as a fast juvie, not to mention the slower dinosaurs.**
Elder system
** First of all, The Adult status or the conversion between Adult to Elder needs to be a lot longer.** Because even If I accidentally (for my case it was a bug) ruin my chance to reach Prime, I still managed to survive for sometimes 10+ hours and if you end up being frail elder too quickly, that's basically a waste of time. Everyone wants to enjoy being an Adult Also a healthy ecosystem should have around 25% juvie/sub , 50% adult and 25% elders. Obviously it will won't happen this accurately, but this is what we should go for. I like most of the Elder models, but some needs work like Trike's elder model. I think the best is Rex's. It looks absolutely stunning. Also as this is part of the gameplay loop, I think you should absolutely be able to see what you have to do to reach Prime Elder. Also, this would allow to have RNG/Species Prime lists. These lists could be much more than it is right now. You could use it to increase and create fun interaction. For Example as Hypsi, you could have something like "Blind 3 Predators with your vomit". This is obviously just and example, but you could create much more interaction between playables. Or as Trike/Diablo : "Engage in a sparring fight with 3 opponents within your group". You could randomize it, you can make interactions, you can have hundreds of way to reach elder.
** Speed is the most impactful balancing factor in the game and majority of the time when something is off, it's due to speed. I kindly suggest to remove all SPEED modifiers from mutations and Elder status.**
AI
AI spawn still feels inconsistent. I covered Swamp/Beaches for multiple times in multiple gaming sessions, found barely any AI.
Juvies are struggling more than actual Adult Rexes, because of Dibble/Galli AI, which are both incredible dumb and is easier to spot/catch. I've been saying this for a while now, please don't have any dinosaur AI, or if you want it, make sure it's not anything larger than a Dryo.
T.Rex
I love majority of the sounds for the Rex. the deep growls are especially amazing.
I love the Growth curve for Rex. It gives a pretty big window for other playables to prey on Rexes until they became the menace that they are when they are Adults. Practically they are as easy to handle as a Boar in the first 2 hours.
Crush obviously needs some balancing. First of all it needs both visual and audio CUE. Both Rex and Prey needs to know if they are actually doing the ability or not, also maybe a short cooldown wouldn't hurt. Like 8 or 10 second . It might doesn't seem lot but in 10 sec a lot can happen in combat. Rex shouldn't be able to pin, unless its heavier by at least 35 or 40%. I would also flip the crush/ambush speed ability. Juvie Rexes should not have crush, it should rather have the short burst of speed to evade danger (especially cause they are pretty slow then they spawn) or hunt chicken/rabbit. Crush ability should unlock once you reach the Sub Adult status. Also, there is part of in Rex's growth where it becomes a speed demon. It is fine but it shouldn't be this fast. It shouldn't go higher than 49km/h in my opinion. That's more than enough to completely evade 98% of the roster. Also Food should drain a little bit faster for the Juvies.
