Aside from the graphics, I find COTW to be much more arcade-y, Classic is more of an immersive legit hunting simulator, COTW is similar but plays out at a much faster pace, IMO.

EDIT: Another thing, COTW progression is much faster, animals give more money and Does give money as well, so it's easier to get your favorite weapons quickly.

That is your choice, typically I look how long it takes from the outpost or tent and base the time to go out without an ATV/four wheeler

I’ve been trying to set up for a diamond hunt on blacktail/whitetail deer and i’ve seen a few times people mentioning that you have to do it in multiplayer sessions because something to do with response rates, is this true?

not really. spawn rates and population sizes are pretty much identical on everyone's map, plus or minus a couple deer.

however, the exact composition of those deer can vary quite a bit. someone's map might be stacked, someone else's might have jack, and everything in between

no, the chances do not stack, killing a bunch of animals gives you more chances, so basically: kill 1 animal = 1 chance, 10 animals = 10 chances, 100 animals = 100 chances and so on

if something has a 1% (just using 1% as an example) chance of spawning you could be lucky and get it with 1 animal killed, or you could be unlucky and have to kill 500 to get it, it’s all random

Wen you guys grind with tents and stuff, you go to all you zones shoot al least one and then, what do you do? Do you just change the time back and go again, how do i go from “rotation” to the next “rotation”

If you use tripods just kill as many males you can on as many zones you want. The best option is to hunt only the zones where you have a decent amount of males, although you could just hunt every single zone. Then you can just reset the time and you will see all the respawns as long as you claimed them before. If you don't claim all the animals then is necessary to go to the main menu and return so you get all the respawns.

Generally speaking, higher penetration is better

Lets the round get further into the target, thus hitting more stuff

(the stats can be a little deceiving tho. some ammo punches harder than its stats suggest)

I got a question: What's with Female Animals. I'm still quite of new when it comes to working the map. I mean, one can get some cash and XP taking down an entire herd. BUT everybody seems to make a fuzz about the males and how they respawn. How does that work with females?

some do, most females can be rare fur/feather types, and Chamois, Gemsbok, European Hare, Eastern Cottontail Rabbit, Gray Fox, Bobwhite Quail and Scrub Hare can make diamond as females, a few of those only females can be diamond, the Eastern Cottontail Rabbit, Scrub Hare, European Hare and Bobwhite Quail.

They do, mind your wind direction, and how close you are to them physically

they do, only in these time frames though: 5-9, 12-16 and 18-22. There is also inactive burrows which just doesn’t have rabbits in them, if you spook them they go into the burrows and you’ll have to either wait (how long I’m not sure, it seems to vary a lot) or go do something else on the map and come back.

Seems to me the track and the body are overlaying each other. You may have to move the mouse around from different angles to see if you can interact with it. Try crouching or going prone and looking slightly up to see if does anything.,

Why does the spreadsheet have different need times than my map for Layton ? It says Roosevelt elk drink from 16:00 to 20:00 but on my map they feed in that time slot

@blazing sedge what I do when i see a 9-L if i mess up the shot i quickly close my game and re-launch it and go back to exactly where i seen it and try again i did that with my 9-L lion and 9-L red deer (and yes i have proof

so if you ask i will go to my lodge and deliver
