My suggestion would be to grind basic armor and club and clear Black Forest chambers for cores and start leaving a portal on every island you travel to. That will help make any death loop more tolerable for u. We all have been there before.

That’s good news for you! If u can make a better boat then raft but if u have to make a raft and stop at the biome before the swamp or a meadows and get a portal down. Anything that’s closer than ur bed. Good luck!

Again, your taming area is causing pathing problems, it needs to be bigger and more flat.

They're trying to path outside of the pit to reach the food, the more angular the flooring is, the more complex they thing their path needs to be.

It should be better, but that amount of terrain modifying only increases the chances that they'll be making overcomplicated pathing. It's best to use a completely natural flat area with grausten walls in a large fenced in square.

Even 2 stars won't break those walls very easily, the terrain walls might confuse them to try and walk on the wall itself.

Yeah, these are just lessons learned along the way, only tame one at a time.

I spent over a week locating my 2 star, but it was an amazing feeling to hatch that well earned egg back at my meadows base. Now I've a pack of roaming 2 stars patrolling outside my base.

Serpents can just spawn regularly, no time of day or storm needed.

They can spawn in the day during rain, which is a fairly common occurance.

If they're in the black forest waters, they've likely just swam from a nearby ocean area(some of them can be extremely small depending on the seed).

Silver spawns from 100m (roughly) and upwards. So if your mountain has obsidian it'll probably have silver. Otherwise it might be too small.

Hello, some friends and I are having constant connection problems in the game, we are playing through the PC (Xbox), we tried to play a map that we had old and that we decided to return, but the connection was dropping, so we decided to open a server and we had the same result, before we could normally do it and we don't know how to proceed, we tried to share the map with each one, but we have the same problem, we have been in this situation for a few days now.

How does tamed healing works? I've been watching one of my loxes and he was healing like 0.6 HP per tick. So I went to him and fed him a cloudberry and instantly right after he ate it, he gained a 1600/16000+(forgot the exact number) HP tick, but earlier i fed another lox which didn't gain any such large health ticks, he was still healing on the 0.6 hp tick rate

You can have as many of the same world seeds as you like just give them different names, as for your second question, no the stuff you made specifically in that world will not transfer to the new same world seed

From my experience they seem to heal up big when 50% of their hp is gone but when its above or something like that they heal overtime instead of one big heal from what I've experienced

Some times they just don't heal right, why have no idea but it will heal up some over time untill the food runs out. The secret is to just leave extra food and stay away go do something else. No attacks will happen and the time will run out and when you get back they will feed and get a full heal.

If you have an Abbysal Harpoon and turn on friendly fire then you can pull them.

They take damage everytime you harpoon them though, so the weaker the creature the fewer attempts you have.

I prefer playing melee with mistwalker. It slows the char movement to help keep spacing from them. Also the feather cape takes more fire damage so switch that out too. The spawns are a lot so I like to place down stone portals frequently with a basic wall around it to keep it from being attacked. I also prefer major healing and lingering Stan potions

Jotun bane is not a good choice, but for that it's impressive that you managed to work with it. Ashlands enemies are all either very resistant or immune to poison, and as a 1h axe it has a very weak secondary attack.

if anything, using the jotun's bane means a higher axe skill, and when you get to the ashland, that gets you a nice surprise

plus it was upgraded to lvl 4

its about 5-6 hits on twitchers, 8-9 hits on warriors. 8-9 on warlocks, 4-5 on achers.

Parrying 1vs1 is viable, othervise against groups you can hack and slash through them enemies. You can time your attacks against Warriors in a way your 3rd and 4th double hits connect and kill them fast.

You should not be having more FPS in main menu than 60. Did you have Vsync enabled in Valheim settings? If so, disable it and check if FPS gets properly cappedbin main menu

Also, good idea to open up task manager, and under peoceses tab right click on some colum name so you can add a GPU columns. Sort proceses by GPU usage to check if any other uses GPU a lot other than Valheim

Yeah, I've seen a fair share of weird AMD driver related issues in Valheim.

I would recommend the following:

• Disable windows from installing drivers automatically
• Disable iGPU in BIOS
• Wipe all drivers using DDU program
• Download latest drivers using Andrenaline and not optimising any game

100FPS at that instance count and 1440p seems fine. Don't think you have some general issue

FPS can osculate a lot during sunset and sunrise on any system. Putting shadows on medium can stabilise that.
Other FPS drops are usually related to zone borders, so be sure to always be aware if that is happening when you have these drops.

The silver sword is a very valuable item since it's useful for mountains, early plains, yagluth, and the charred in ashlands.
The secondary attack on 1H and 2H swords has 3x damage so it's a little more than maces, but since it doesn't have increased knockback you'll need to be careful with your positioning to not get hit after the attack.

Water level is fixed. So as long as you make sure you're 2meters above that level, your cellar won't flood by waves.
Also: rain doesn't flood holes. It hits the ground and disappears.
The only thing it does is damaging the look of any wooden item not covered by a roof. Which is a thatch roof early game and other (non-wooden) floor pieces after the swamp.

Storms are when you get the highest water levels. You also get bigger waves when you build on a peninsula or near shores, which are what come up through your basement. The ocean is a constant surface over the entire world, even under the terrain. There's no other physics associated with water in the game.

As for armour, depends on you really, i usually go with iron because i dont mind being slower and like the higher armor value, but if you want to run around and dodge attacks then root is also great 🙂

Theres 3 good options from previous biomes

Mistwalker - High dmg and additional frost, and spirit dmg, but at the cost of more stamina per swing

Silver Sword - Similar dmg to the Mistwalker, with the addition of spirit dmg but lacking frost dmg, but with the upside of less stamina per swing

Frostner - decent dmg, with frost and spirit dmg aswell, combined that with high knockback, good for keeping enemies at bay and for crowd control

All 3 are good options, just choose what you like, or what your character is more skilled at club of sword

It's possible, yes. Once they group up they can get knocked down into your entrance area. You can make a smaller cliff below your entrance and help head off some of that if you want, though. It takes some clever architecture , but you can make it "safe" from most everything if you want.

If you have any base building piece that prevents mob spawns they stop surtling spawns too. Workbench, campfire, standing torch etc.

5 minutes should be the spawn timer.

But if it doesn't work properly then maybe some mod can cause some issues?

Yes, you can reuse the world in a different server. If you had builds near Ashlands or Deep North they may be affected and any pins to boss locations etc will be wrong but the world will be mostly intact.

Charred warriors are weak to Spirit and neutral most physical damage except Pierce. Morgen are weak to Lightning, neutral to Frost, Poison and Spirit and resistant to most physical attacks.

The silver sword will deal more damage than mistwalker against charred while costing less stamina. Mistwalker is a good option because it's effective against every enemy in ashlands, and it's what I'd use for morgens.

Are you talking about network lag?
If so, probably suffering from buffer bloat. Do this test on both PCs:

How are both devices connected to the router? (e.g. Ethernet, WiFi)
Are you using dedicated server, or is one of the devices a host (starts their world as server)?

Those both are fine, but preform the test again when you are both in Valheim playing.
Next time you start the server to play together, try disabling crossplay option before starting the server as well.
Make host use only Steam invite to invite the other player while client waits in character selection screen.
You can DM me if that doesn't help, and then we can look more things (what might be an issue in router setting, or if any network optimiser are running on PC (common on lenovo laptops or machines that used hamachi VPN).

Just a note that the sacrificial altars (the starting point) isn't always in the middle of the world, it depends on the world seed.
