I just killed 2 2-Star Fulings, a 1-Star Fuling Berserker, 4 Fuling Shamans, and the rest of a large Fuling Camp with my Black Metal Battle Axe.
I don't care what anyone says anymore, Battle Axes are such a good weapon class.

I mucked up and alerted the whole camp, but it DIDN'T MATTER

The secondary poke is great for creating room from those bigger star enemies and possibly stagger them but also for finishing low hp enemies.

I think my favourite part about Battle Axes is just the sheer stagger of the primary attacks too; not all of the balance budget regarding stagger was put into the secondary poke. Being able to safely cleave through, fully damage, and fully stagger so many Fuling at once with the primary attack is so good.

There's no option to make build pieces smaller, later on in the game there's certainly some smaller build options with other resources.
But as it stands the build pieces you have access to are what you get. Different angles to play around with but that's all

On subsequent playthroughs you'll get to play with all sorts of dumb stuff like that

um. technically you can use the same, but the "clouds" isn't synced in any kind of way since it's 2 competetors. so you won't be able to move your character AFAIK

If it seems too overwhelming you can use devcommands. Or change world settings until you get back to comfort. But part of the game is dusting off and starting again. Learn from the past, Make back up gear and outposts. Etc. good luck, don’t let it get you down

Using whatever slashing weapon you have levelled up the highest ist better, since the boats don't take chop damage, but blunt and slash. Using a mace is also better

They resist pierce iirc so that won't work as well

If you’re comfortable parrying, he only has one attack iirc that you got to watch out for. Otherwise he mostly uses ranged attacks. Any melee weapon works.

You wanna get bronze gear, it helps alot

trolls are weak vs piercing, so arrows/spear work best. and bears are weaker* to slashing. i think the axe works the best.
the 2 most important combat mechanics are the dodges and the perfect parries. You are actually invincible when you dodge, you don't need to be out of range. and parrying is about timing, but you also need enough max hp not to get staggered.

Also, the smaller grey dwarves and the bears are scared of fire, use a campfire, or a torch to avoid getting overwhelmed.

Atgeir is very strong vs trolls, secondary attack will stagger them so you can kill them without them ever attacking you
Shield+sword is best against bears as you can party their attack, stagger them and deal a lot of dmg. Bears are harder but still quite easily with bronze buckler and bronze sword

but what we use ourselves is the "(N-35)" numbers

as network- numbers

or network compatible

so if we need to patch PC and not Xbox, and we know they are identical, just that 1 platform has a small problem. then we patch only that platform

so the only issue is the .5 or .6 are diffrent. everything else is identical in content, stats, numbers etc
