I'm not sure if I've ever gotten one. The amount of golems I've killed in my 800 hours is probably less than the number of fingers on my hands though

They're just annoying to fight with their knockback, and pretty high damage too which can make them dangerous

And worst of all, they tend to be pretty resistant to the weapons I use in mountains. I almost never make a iron mace

The trick with deathskitos is to kill them.

You can apply that trick to golems as well.

I almost made it to Fader without dying in standard, so you have a decent shot at it even on hard. Fader killed me twice, though. That ground fire effect is a bit on the ridiculous side. He'd be a push over without it, though.

Regarding "Survival: Fountain of Youth"; it's a fun game. It's got some sort of campaign to unlock certain ships and features, but you can do quite a lot at the main island alone.

It's a bit more futuristic as Valheim, as it plays in the 16th-17th century (so expect gunpowder at some point), but in general it's pretty well thought out.

Only thing I didn't like was fighting two of the bosses, including the end boss, as it had some nasty tricks in it. Including fighting minions, which I still think don't belong in a BOSS fight.

Once you get a high enough skill and anything past the Iron Mace, you get to where your "combo" becomes hit-walk-hit instead of being able to just keep hitting.

(edit as I said this wrong) That difficulty DID go down in the 1st half of NG+, but it crept back up slowly and it was still a challenge by the time I got done with the second run, not quite as hard but I still couldn't just turn my back and eat a sammich lol

And toon is also a term I use in World of Tanks for 'platoon' - that's a shortcut I got from Ender's Game.

Ng+ isn't fun for me, the difficulty starts feeling artificial
Especially when in the first 3 you plow through everything
