At 0:32 in this morning's trailer, is that ||Hela?|| on the left there? Looks exactly like her head piece from the ||Marvel movies||, at least. I think this is depicting the ||battle on Valheim that took place centuries ago when Odin and the gods fought the Jotunn giants that were ruling Valheim. The world tree is in the top left, and that's clearly Odin on the right with the same cloak that's shown briefly at 0:31||. Pretty cool if true

Munin does tell us of the ||Giant Remains "Shadows of an ancient age. The Jotunn once ruled the tenth world, until their time ran out and they were ousted by some other power." I bet this shows that battle||

It's really annoying that lava lamps, and lanterns don't give base effect. They're so much prettier than torches, but it's annoying to have to compensate by burying wards. Why can't these, expensive light sources give base effects as well?

Interesting, I suppose that's right. I think I'm conflating that with the Rune about the Draugr challenging the gods and warring against the Aesir and Vanir. Odin, Loki, Thor, and Freya fought against the Draugr. Same with the Fuling - Odin punished them and trampled their armies and tore Yag in half and cast him to Valheim. The Mistlands Rune about the Jotunn does say "Here lie the Jotunn, most ancient of all Odin's kin and fiercest of all his adversaries." but you're right - that doesn't really prove anything. What evidence points to them killing each other?

I was tracking this too! Interesting that ulf is the only one (we know of) that wasn't actually a viking dropped off by a Valkyrie, he was "a traveller in a strange land" and just kind of clumsily bumps around Valheim. Ulf's runes certainly are interesting. I think the new clips in the trailer, though, are flashbacks showing clips from Valheim's history and not necessarily Ulf's point of view

The Forsaken are also good at avoiding death in one way or another, their spirits rejuvenate over time or "gain strength" over time, which is why were tasked with "trimming the weeds," so to speak. This logic can be applied to why we're able to summon bosses multiple times, they're not dead, we've just dealt with a physical manifestation through means of summoning.

Otherwise Odin would just end them, and not sever an entire realm from the world tree.

Interesting - I like that. It's also worth noting that their heads keep talking once you mount them, and SEVERAL other mob trophy's have a description that implies they're still alive. Does anything really die in Valheim? Even us the character can respawn indefinitely unless you lose your will to carry on, like mentioned in multiple runestones.

How do you all feed your tames? Looking for an effective way. For example, I have a pen for Lox. Can I just chuck a stack of cloudberries on the ground and the just munch at it one at a time as needed OR do I have to litter the ground with 1 berry at a time? What do you guys do to avoid accidentally picking up their food? Thanks

turn off auto-pick up when trying to feed/tame them. I do spread it out a little bit so they can all feed at the same time (if there are more than 2 or so)

The other day I by chance looked at my bills and saw my electricity bill was $100.
I was like what in the flying cookie and logged in into my account to view all months dating back.

Sign on could mean some rule written on a sign is now on. In effect. Like some things might not always be valid, like "place is open", "keep your seat belt on when vehicle is moving". "Be quiet" would be a rule that is on at night, or say, between 11 pm - 07 am. (23.00 - 07)

Or maybe if you write something for future event, you "sign on" into it. Meaning for example you are going to a boat ride tomorrow, and at some location they ask people to write their name on a list, "sign on" to that upcoming trip. Then when next day you go to that place, just before you go aboard, you sign in so you indeed are there in the ship, and thus didnt skip it and they know who showed up and is the ship full or not
