I left this review a while ago and uhm I just hope the devs read it:

This is the best sandbox experience I have ever played. First I played it alone , and got to the second boss. Then I started feeling lonely. It felt like such an amazing experience that I couldn't bear to witness alone.
So I started playing with a friend, and it got even better.
The combat feels nice but not brutal like in a Souls game.
There are many mechanics, but fairly easy to get and they mix perfectly, and besides you will get to learn them almost one at a time.
The community is awesome and many spectacular mods are already here for you to play with custom models, VR, etc.
Finally, the developers are the nicest people around. Always hearing from their public and constantly bringing huge updates to the game. When I started playing there were three bosses, now there's six, plus magic, plus animal husbandry.
I love it. There will hardly be a survival game that will fit me this much.

mine is about the same, and i was having trouble with the screen going black at random times. i think it's the gpu as well. hasn't happened in a few days, so it could be ram as well 😦

For me a few days before I got no screen at all anymore, my pc started suddenly hanging in games, it had never done that before.
I checked and updated all the drivers and such and that didn't fix it.
A few days later with shutting off the pc, I got all white screens and nothing reacted anymore, the next day I didn't get any screen at all.
So with the hanging and white screens I'm thinking more towards a GPU issue.

You can probably remove the GPU card and put the monitor card into the motherboard slot and have the cpu doing the GPU work

So you can at least boot it up and use internet browser

Already done that, unscrewed everything and rewired everything.

The GPU on the motherboard is disabled, so can't try that route either, I need a different GPU to test.
A different pc to test the GPU is also a possibility.

Thanks for this, the mobo is equipped with 2 pins that I need to short circuit to reset bios, I'll be testing that this evening.
After I make sure the pc is unplugged ,which should still be the case since having a non working pc plugged in is only wasting energy.

Integrated graphics is turned off in bios, I'm hoping to reset bios with the pins this evening so I can test the integrated graphics and in that way make sure that it is indeed the graphics card that is busted.

and worse of all he still played all the game he usually does with with little performance issue 😦

Out of those, Dr Who and "Upstairs, downstairs" scared the crap outa me. "Saphire and Steel" was fun, but I can't remember much of it. "Space 1999" and "Sharpe" were great, but the former ran too short and the latter never got the credits it deserved because it was considered a replacement of "North and South".

After that I barely saw British TV and when I did, my first reaction was "Uh Oh" when seeing what my cousins were watching.

I dunno if we did better.
Some of the youth shows I saw made in my country were either a continuation of shows from the 1960's or the acting was done as if everyone was missing a few braincells.

I think there were 4 shows I actually liked, as they actually had a good story line.
The ones for older people were usually better, but those were all out in the 1980's. But acting was terrible, though. It occasionally felt like the director was pointing to an actor / actress because it was his / her time to say a line.

Hi, does any1 else have problem with kilns? First time i though it was lag on dedicated server (well, still might be just that), but some times, very randomly when I add wood for kilns the wood just disappears. But it doesn't happen often, it usually fixes the issua if i interact with lootbox

Pve doesn’t really matter, avoid the hp/damage reduction armor tho, it’s just bad.

I like the movement speed/crit chance armor the most

Mage armor is super good too

Army of the dead is goated, I also like 2x counter but always switch up your spells based on what you need

Unfortunately, you can only recreate land builds as there's no water in the game.

I would not be surprised if they planned to add more content based on certain themes like oceanic/islands/water, sky lands, maybe even build themes for different cultures.

If they added a viking/nordic themed buildset then people would go full valheim

What is the thing you have the most problems with?

Are you using the best food available?
Have you considered using bow, mace and buckler?
Did you know you can trick most mobs in pathing differently?
There are those indestructible logs on the ground or crypts, If you get on such a log they can't path straight to you and if you jump over the log they will have to go around, so you can kite them back and forth while plinging with arrows.
Getting caught at night in the swamps before you had some gear upgrades is very dangerous.

Try a mace, some mobs in the swamp really can't handle maces.
Also try and get some better food, carrot seeds from the black forest, plant them in a spot you cultivated with the cultivator.
That will unlock some better food, you'll also want to find some turnip seeds in the swamp for even better food, you'll also want thistle's and entrails.

Fishing tip, don't reel in but walk back, throw the lure like 10-15 meters out, drag slowly closer till a fish grabs it, don't reel in but walk back till you pull the fish on the shore, walk closer while reeling in, that way if the line does snap the fish is still beached and you can pick it up.

Last summer, I watched one of my friends' kids execute that maneuver on their pontoon boat after doing it in Valheim. He ran out of boat before his line was all the way in, but I suppose he did save some reeling stamina.

We are split from the tree, yes.

That's the whole problem. The Forsaken and trying to bring the tree back over to connect with Valheim and the strain is causing it to crack/damage.

I kinda agree with that. On one hand, sailing from one place to another and bringing a massive haul home is really nice

and the portal really removes a whole portion of the game by allowing you to just teleport with ores around

I'd already be happy if the spikes weren't so close to one another tbh. The Drakkar is massive and as such navigating through the spires feels like you're trying to slowly navigate through a labyrinth

Up until Myst and Ashland's I've enjoyed sailing ores around. But it does become very labor intensive. I don't think removing the portal is the right call though

It's still like... the only thing in favor of the Stone Portal staying.
Because of how damn difficult it is to sail into the Ashlands. The ability to sail in once and then just portal from then on is a relief given how annoying the spires are.
Not entirely sure the design goal behind them 🤷‍♂️
If it was about making the Drakkar more of a "needed" boat, I would remove them and just crank the water burn temp up because people can still make it to the Ashlands in the Longship (which, personally, I don't think you should be able to).

I never used Catapults in the game so I don't know how well you can aim with them. Imo to derrive value from that, the player needs to be able to destroy all pillars up to the edge of the ashlands.

the problem is that if it's way harder for the player to make the passage in and out of the ashlands bearable, they'll always prefer placing a simple structure to solve their problems, the portal in that case
