I've actually been trying to find out where I had originally heard there would be 9. I remember it from back in the day and almost positive it was from like a developer interview or something, but I've simply been parroting it since and don't actually have a source. Like I said before, things could have changed, but it seemed like the devs had a lot of stuff pre-planned seeming as they had placeholders for the mistlands, ashlands, and deepnorth since original launch. That said it would be interesting if they did intend to have 9 bosses at the start then scrapped one.

4m high? you can fit 4, though the top one will clip through the floor above slightly. not sure a rug will quite cover it.

ah. might be 3. i thought the hitbox was similar to reinforced so I'd play with it a little if you can get 4 of those in, but I'm not 100%, i usually don't smash em together horizontally
(i just go for consistent spacing to keep rows roughly aligned vertically)

Yeah, I overlapped them as much as I could. Ends up being the exact same storage density (4x24=96 vs 3x32=96).

i have a "cooking house", which has a bunch of ingredient storage and the cauldron and iron cooking thingy. But it's a small walk from my comfort house/portal area. Depending on timing, it may be better to just have a portal connecting them. Granted, maybe i shouldn't have located the cooking house where i did, but it made sense at the time

You pretty much get a small but steady stream of it after killing yagluth via raids and night spawn in every biome ... plus unlike iron they're pretty much only good for chests in late game 😛

There are a few trophies that are very hard to get ... Drakes is one, Ice golems, Wraiths, Elite Draugrs ... and then the absolute awful Rancid Remains.

E. Draugr aren't as bad because you can camp a body pile and just kill everything that spawns. Still time consuming though since they don't spawn often and the drop rate is low too.

I cleared the majority of a muddy scrap pile and used bow and atgeir from the small opening till I got the elite trophy. That took quite a few arrows.

Garden and forge are exteriors to all houses (Forge = Anvil, visual difference 😦 but functionally the same. No house has the VISUAL forge piece)

Interior hall has the enchanter, and just make your north wing the alchemy laboratory (unless you REALLY love taxidermy and want the trophy room which is just stuffed dead things)

Nevermind, just went into the cellar --> Visual forge is an option down there.

Head Slot: Dawnguard Spoiler ||Dawnguard Circlet that lets you have 2 active Standing Stone buffs.||
Chest: Cost Reduction for Alteration + Conjuration + MRegen
Hands: One-Handed + Lockpicking (Really no other good options besides the Lockpicking for secondary imo)
Feet: Muffle + Stamina Regen (their are probably more BiS options, but this is the combo that makes the most sense for shoes if I was practically enchanting)

Amulet: Magic Resist + Cost Reduction for Restoration
Ring: Cost Reduction for Destruction + ?? 😭 (I am trying to not have 2 items with the same effect on them)

• I'll be at 75% out of the 85% cap on Magic Resist, so doubling that up would be mostly pointless imo.
• Stamina Regen or One-handed would be double-ups.
• Magic Regen would be a pseudo-double-up? Given the Chest is Cost Reduction + Regen for both, meaning neither is a pure MRegen enchantment.
• Health Regen? But I am already rank 60 in Restoration so...

Ok, so the other thing is I'm trying to line up effects for practicality (like the boots).

So if I put Magic Resist and Destruction on the Amulet, that makes sense as like a sorcerer's/duelist's amulet.

And the ring getting MRegen + Restoration is like a healer's wet dream.

So I think that will be the final duck a-row-ment. 👍

Against groups I can die pretty fast if not careful. Like final push to Alduin's mission you have to fight 6 draugr deathlords simultaneously and there was a good part of that were I was just kiting and healing myself while my flame atronoch slowly whittled them down.

MRegen is going to be a must because I absolutely chug mana potions on quest content and I do not have the money to sustain that 😄

Let companion + atronoch do all the damage.

Problem is that unless you mod and have the unofficial skyrim patch, you can heal your enemies... so it's less applicable at higher levels when you would need the aoe healing spells.

Also I was nearly dying a lot because of difficulty spike and I still had only the baseline healing spell.

But I just hopped to the College an bought all the adept-level stuff for each school and it is going a lot smoother now.

Tier-3 Fire Breath shout + Paarthurnax meditation on it (+25% damage) + Fire Damage perks in Destruction is very helpful against groups of people when you kite them to line up.

Well, returned to the Swamp bordering the Plains and yeah I could take a Deathsquito 1v1. A little later, met a Troll and fought him on top of a Copper node (he really helped mine that 😄 ), a Deathsquito joined, and took 'em both out. Learning to Parry/Dodge seems to be "the way."

learning parry and dodge-roll are critical, yep. and then figuring out the various mobs attacks for timing

I'm actually glad my first time playing was multiplayer and at the time the game had just released so none of us knew anything really. Lots of laughs when everyone is experiencing the game for the first time together 😄

That said, I suspect that the experience is much different if it's your first time playing and you're doing it with people who are already more adept at the game. That can probably detract from the experience and in that case it would probably be more fun to experience the game first solo.
