Charged-particle-soup. If you were to weaponize it, it would technically be a projectile weapon, but whatever it's hitting probably would disagree. :V

I like the way Elite: Dangerous treats it in that there are kinetic damage (projectile) and energy damage (laser) weapons, but plasma is treated as an exception that does energy+"absolute" damage, the latter not really caring about resistances. Plasma is also really respondent to electromagnetic fields and interference (which space is full of) and bolts of plasma lose cohesion pretty quickly if there's not something containing them as they move.

Also weirdly, plasma is the most prevalent mundane matter in the universe (which is a giant slow explosion so go figure), yet schools in the states will outright pretend there are only three states of matter til like, the end of high school.
