Let them keep following you, if for any reason they do get of the boat they will keep swimming behind you, just have to stop from time to time to let them catch up.

Sure, your nouns have to match for grammatical case, gender and number, and that depends on which declension your noun is from. How do you know? You just have to remember. Simple language.
