No, Sealed is completely ignored for LP Crafting. It doesn't count toward the 4x required affixes and it won't be used in the transfer.
On a positive note, that means you can use Despair Sealing to effectively remove an affix from the possible transfers
This page gives details on the Seal chance, of note is that on an Exalted item with 4x affixes a T1 is a guaranteed Seal https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/seal-chance
Thank you! I was really confused because I have seen guides claim both yes and no
The only way legendary can have a sealed affix is by Nemesis doing oopsie
as far as I know
You can use an item with a Sealed affix in the LP Crafting, but that Sealed affix will be ignored
LP Crafting does let you transfer Experimental affixes.
But not Reforged Set affixes or the Personal & Champion affixes - as they're both Sealed. And not the T8 Primordial affixes - also Sealed in a special second Sealed slot
that's good
folks any idea what this is about?
Restart game
steam issue?
same issue here, must be a steam issue :/
play "full offline" is working... that's all
I think it may be beyond even steam, maybe something aws related?
aws?
yeah seems many sites which rely on cloudfront are having issues right now
guess we wait it out
i tried to imprint a 2T7 sentinel body armor on my primalist, hoping to get 2T7 primalist body armor... but i am not sure it works like that ? already got 1T7 body sentinel... just bad luck ? does it help me to get more primalist body too ? or not at all please ?
Steam seems to be back up
Currently in 500c and I was wondering if the dual T7 droprates ever get significantly better.
I think he's talking about imprints, not slams. I believe it'll generally keep the same body armor class most the time, but every now and again switch the class
You're right, it clearly said imprint and my brain skipped right over it
yes but the odds aren't great even if you say double it going from 500 to 1000
would the most ideal way to gain mana be through passive stat increases (spellblade with shattering strikes as a focus)? I have added mana and or mana regen on everything i can.
would the most ideal way to gain mana be through passive stat increases (spellblade with shattering strikes as a focus)? I have added mana and or mana regen on everything i can.
you just use mana strike, the opportunity cost of sustaining mana any other way on shatter strike is too high. generator spender sucks but it is what it is
Cooldown mana strike usually works well enough
Darn. That really bums me out. I was wanting to avoid mana strike I’ve done a couple builds with it already. Thank you for the insight.
I’ll check that but I’m messing around with a build that fires off elemental nova as often as possible so I need sustained uptime on melee.
Just to clarify i understand this correctly, if i cast a curse on someone, and then hit that person iwth chaos bolts does that mean the timer on the curst resets every time i hit the person?
yes
Neat, thank you
Let's say I'm putting a set affix onto a weapon, does the weapon type have to match the one in the set?
Someone please help. I have prismatic gaze as part of my loot filter for uniques, but it's not showing. Am I missing something
This is the rule set
The same rule works fine for Calamity, but not prismatic gaze
Yes; if it's a 1h set sword, its affix can only go on a 1h sword
how does this work with rares and bosses and champions? I cant imagine it allows you to instakill them too
it clips different depending on monster rarity
is there a guide somewhere that explains what it does to different enemy types?
does hittting alt not say?
sadly no
it works the same on all
all the 'kill threshold' is similar i believe
So it can instakill bosses that are at low % hp as well??
ya
yeah sorta
Kill Threshold works on bosses as well.
'reduced affect on boosssess'
it doesnt even say that
good grief my keyboard just had an aneurysm
may be an old post and im misremebering. i thought it affected rarity differently maybe thats patched out
cull is generally not super valueable on bosses these days because of boss ward. it used to be mandatory on every build back in the dynamic dr days but these days it's more of a "nice to have"
i see
PoE2 does that, but not LE
ah, easily could have switched that lol
am i dumb or is this a typo, shouldnt it be "you and your minions deal additional melee necrotic damage and spell necrotic damage" not "your and your..."
What is the most amount of affixes you can have on an item?
5 i think, 4 by default +1 sealed
Okiii I'm pretty newish to the endgame so yeee
all good
Correct
Please #tooltip-hunt
I had no idea that even existed, thank you
Technically 6
4 affixes
1 sealed
1 primordial affix
how does the corruption affects imprinting system? does it make imprinting proc more frequent? or just affects the affixes that procced item has
more frequent
did anyone datamine this or we just think this way
#feedback message
@small prairie
Felt like I'd let you know that Rampant Coast solves all your issues mentioned. I'm swimming in primordial mats.
Even bones ?
You can make bones not the bottle neck through bags still, I think? Not 100% sure. But you gotta buy a lot of bags if you wanna use your mats. Then you get way less items
I like amber bags still. Also possibly unique or rune even for lategame CoF. Atm I'm early in char found though, so I might even have bought a glyph bag
yall ever upgrade a piece of armor youre using and then it BECOMES TOO HIGH LEVEL FOR YOU TO USE
Oopsie
Yes, even bones.
Nah, I just lose 20 FP at the first Havoc attempt and question my decision to play the game
that's the issue, duh, too much mats, too little bones
Then word it better, duh.
Also, scroll up. I swim in bones as well.
it clearly says we lack bones, idk how do you read it
I don't intend a debate or whatever though, so feel free to ignore if it's unhelpful 🤷♀️
scroll where, you can make bookmark
if you mean to spend on bags to even the ratio, that doesn't help when i try to farm at least 2LP item, too little bones
My initial feeling was that rift beasts were just for the items. Maybe a mistake due to hype over the new and shiny uniques. But anyway I didn't use any bags early game.
Late game, bags seem more questionable. I still like unique bag early, and amber bag overall, but I can't really tell if they're good. Primordial uniques just cost way too much bones though, making it all wonky
i like in theory how there are options like this, but in practice i find it overwhelming how many crafting possibilities i need to consider when looking at a good-ish item 🤕
In reality, none of it matters, because your first havoc will give you -20 fp
Ngl, I kinda feel like the main way to obtain primordial uniques should be rift beasts so you're not farming 200k bones until you get your item then randomly amass 400k when you have your item. Any super specific currency used to purchase them from Skarven feels like it will go that way too. An imprint on weaver tree where you could imprint a primordial item and riftbeasts start dropping it would be cool. Plus riftbeasts should have a pointer in echoes, like tombs and echo objective
So they could just balance bones vs bags
It always surprises me how the community will nitpick the tiniest of details (in this case about Rift Beast) but is okay with the whole FP gamba, imprint gamba, cache gamba lol
Power creep is a thing
Making a system more intuitive has an intrinsic value, power creep is more a combination of new options needing to be competitive and losing power (nerfs) feeling bad
I have no idea how that relates to anything
Deterministic crafting makes more power more easily acquired
You mean like playing MG?
I'd say lack of variety and fun progression in endgame is a bigger problem than non-deterministic crafting. As is, the game just kinda ends
You can do it several ways
People usually switch to trade when the method of obtaining stuff sucks
Idk, I think trade can be fun in itself
Not swindling people, but just adapting to a community and supplying something people use, find an efficient way, and pump out currency to get whatever you need
Every game kinda just ends after whatever the final fight is
Aberroth is the BBEG of the current game
But then why are you super worried about getting 2 guaranteed slams on uniques?
In before we get 2 guaranteed and people complain 3lp is still 50/50
Yeah
That's why I don't see the point of such a change
I feel like theorycrafting offers a lot of options and can allow you to enjoy the game for a long time. Furthermore, with gradual increase of effort to acquire ever more perfect gear, into complete absurdity to acquire stuff like LP4 red rings, there is a basically infinite time sink to gear up. But before you're even done, endgame just becomes corruption scaling + uber abberoth and crafting (system*) that while allowing more investment to get increasingly perfect results, you would wanna have more fun fueling your crafting with content to get stuff from
There's a lot of "chance to change..." rolls for imprints, you have a chance to lose T7 and chance to change class. I have quite a few non mage 77 helms even though I imprint mage helm.
Unsure if I made it unclear to understand, but it's the amount of gamba layers, not one specific gamba
If raw drops already are incredibly low and 2 Havoc attempts 0 FP the whole thing, making you repeat from 0 and you add Rune of Removal gamba and imprint procs are not only rare AF but also only give mod tier but not specific mod and then you have to Havoc gamba again and on top of that Glyph of Chaos gamba the proc for other mods (because the random mods from the imprint proc are likely bad) and then you also Eternity Cache gamba, that's when it's a problem.
I'd be happier with "ingredients are made harder to obtain, but once you do, you get the item you wish".
In PoE2, if I get my base + Omens + Essence, I guarantee the item I wish. I consider that system superior.
I don't even think the rate / difficulty of acquiring gear is in a bad spot tbh, it's just that the current system has a lot of power plateaus and where big RNG events are positioned in the process makes it feel like a dopamine buzzkill when you get past a certain point of progression.
Imprints are also so overbearingly strong for acquiring super fine tuned items compared to other methods (cough... prophecies) right now that it also feels like you don't really have much variety in the process. 90% of end game minmax is just waiting for imprint procs
Maybe it's just a bit of a plateau before uberoth yeah
I haven't done uberoth to be clear, but I abandoned my CoF+MG hybrid seasonal stash to do it on char found
The drops themselves are also a huge part of what makes ARPGs exciting, that "loot slot machine" but because of how disposable the drops themselves are (eg. an exalt has a very low chance of becoming upgrade due to FP, a unique might be gauntlet of strife food if the rolls are all bottom or low rolled 3LP being worse than a 1LP if the slam misses, etc.) it ends up killing a lot of that excitement that would exist.
In deep endgame there currently isn't anything that really excites you on that next drop (perhaps in MG a giga valuable item to sell). There is no ultra rare powerful rune, no item that could "eventually" become good deterministically (perhaps how much effort it takes is still random), etc.
True, intrinsic value of items is low. I do like that stepping stone into a required unique is almost never high though. Then I just haven't really gotten into slamming much aside from LP1, LP2-3 with t7/5/5/5, or LP4
Maybe some playstyles should actually be gated behind some grind
This is likely a c level issue, but I practically never see my imprints proc.
Also once the imprint procs, you still need to
- Havoc and likely brick
- Glyph of Chaos the random (mostly bad) modifiers and likely brick
before you make it slammable / usable anyway.
This is fine, having weird "meme" type builds that could function but only with good gear is kinda fine to chase fun.
Yeah
do you people always carry around a spare legendary in case a nemesis egg pops up?
I used to, until I discovered that you can access your stash from the egg menu, so not anymore.
Oh, I take that back, 4LP drops feel amazing if its something you actually want, because you know if you spend a bunch of time farming the perfect exalt you know that time won't be wasted
this helps, thanks!
I'm kinda thinking, uniques could be more valuable on LP0 and then most mandatory effects could migrate to when they update the skill system. If a unique still enables a skill functionality, then that should be intentional to create hype, require some effort, and build excitement
I think uniques are fine mostly. It's the exalts I personally take an issue with
I do wish COF had some sort of way to get excitement out of extremely rare items they don't care about. Like if I could turn my 3LP Razorfall into eternal cache RNG juice
I'm thinking Naal's effect could be a modifier you could get deterministically in new skills system, but Naal's Tooth gets modified to turn your raptors albino (with a cool model) or something
tbh yea, even though the stash is accessible it is a bit annoying to dig through it while enemies slowly trickle in towards you and most of your screen is obscured by the menu.
^ It always feels like enemies just pop in the moment you open dialogues / menus in this game too for whatever reason, even after seemingly full clearing
feels like a very cheap way of trying to kill my char lol
but already in LE much of your power progression is locked in skill and passive trees, I think this makes that even more significant
True I guess. I just think that if they would try to make uniques more exciting, one thing is that the baseline unique should be better without LP but rarer. But build enabling effects should not just baseline become rarer and require more time to grind out, at least imo. To me that's the biggest upside with LE uniques system, that getting LP0 on anything is relatively easy
Some uniques are already borderline impossible to get until very high levels
e. g. Rahyeh's Light
I just know Naal's Tooth can take some time on season start or char found, which I think is not optimal because raptors are sort of officially pack companions, at least if you look at spriggan (though obviously things are flexible, some other minion could crop up with a node treating raptor as a solo companion)
What feels odd is that spriggan has a node around a unique, not a unique around a node
I think it'll always feel weird to compare all uniques of a given amount of LP because they are not balanced to be "on the same level". Eg. LP1 kestral is kinda weak, LP1 Red Ring is pretty great.
LE has the LP level system to solve more accessible often weaker uniques becoming irrelevant late game.
Rare/High LP level items got significantly more benefit out of the guaranteed 1LP change than lower LP level items, for example.
I think either LP levels or rarity needs to be rebalanced accordingly, or we need something that considers LP level as part of the legendary craft process. Eg. 1LP Red Ring somehow "costs more" to guarantee than 1LP Kestral
Sounds reasonable
Back before 1.2 you would usually have a mix of 1LP and 2LP items, maybe a couple exalts as you progress, now it's almost always best to rush a decent unique with a useful T7 slammed in each slot before doing anything else
But then the power plateau feels more significant, as the effort needed for that next step isn't a gradual increase at each stage, it's a big leap past the 1LP stage.
I think plateaus is a big problem tbh. LE implements a lot of nice ideas, but removing plateaus are more polishing the end result which I do think they need to work on more
I guess one thing I like about EHG on this topic is that their approach is seemingly "who are we kidding, raptors go in packs cuz naals", and it's also not a node about a unique cuz there's 3 pack companions on the node. I still think that if something is inofficially already accepted, it should usually be a best practice that it be officially adopted, but I get that that's probably a problem of administrating dev time
<@&1161418687471956101>
To clarify in the general sense, if you accepted it you're not fighting it so for clarity call it what it is, especially in IT developement. In this specific case I don't know whether raptor is accepted to be a pack companion, but if it isn't then their changes to spriggan just created more technical debt (if just a tiny tiny bit)
Lilith, this is setup I usually try to get, and I still say 'not enough bones'
hi guys i was wondering how i should be trying to get these on my weapon
i havent found an exalted at all with both of these rolls
there is a trick to have any mod 2t7 exalt with at least 1 of desired mods, if your affix is not empty to craft desired mod, use glyph of despair to free the slot, and then use rune of havoc to swap t7s between mods
craft desired mod before swapping though
You can, you just have to play all builds, all classes 😄🫠
I mean fair but if your goal is vertical progression all this provides is horizontal progression. In MG it would contribute to your vertical progress
Thats why some sort of salvage system would be cool. Turn giga rare high lp drop into something valuable
Sure but then what’s the point of MG? You’re describing the main downside of CoF that MG is good at. If you “fix it” then it makes the faction choice less appealing.
I agree vertical progression is a mystery for CoF. It’s mostly the “magic find faction”, so most of the extra drops are garbage, even the rare ones you do not value.
But that’s the gist of arpg’a no? You get a rare drop, might be a good reason to start a new build.
the point of MG is circumventing LEs atrocious "crafting" system by just buying what you need
if the mechanic allows it, use it to your advantage
I don’t see how you circumvent it. Someone still has to craft it. And if it’s not crafted that’s just part of the baseline casino that is unrelated to the FP costs of crafting rng
To echo on FrozenSentinel’s comment: it would be fun to do something about the rare, unvalued drops. However that only makes sense in a world where someone that can’t have it cares. The meta perception is part of the equation and there’s nothing you can do about it at the time of it dropping, other than salvaging it for some kind of currency. And personally I don’t want to see this game go down a route of having another casino layer of that kind of currency.
I’d highlight that if there’s rare-drops-that-someone-in-mg-would-care-about then that item should’ve been filtered out for you in the first place and replaced with something more engaging in CoF.
No matter how many times I think about it, I can't wrap my head around people being ok with the status quo
But perhaps the system is fine and what frozen is experiencing is natural curiosity to go play MG. I see no fault in that.
Let's look at the steps of getting a usable Exalt and the general >1 LP gameplay loop:
Reroll for Rune modifiers at the CoF until your hands go numb.
Hope to drop a couple Runes of Havoc.
Spend days~weeks to get a double T7 Exalt drop.
Try to make it imprintable: you want a 1o/77.
Your Runes of Havoc will drop your FP by 20 each, and your Runes of Removal will hit the wrong target.
Wait for another double T7 Exalt drop.
Repeat 20 times until you have an imprintable Exalt.
Congratulations, it only took you like a month of playing 15h daily.
Wait days~weeks until your first imprint proc due to how bad the proc rates are.
Keep improving your FP by replacing your imprint with the new one.
Repeat 3 times. Your imprint is now 50 FP.
Several weeks later: Good, your first proc!
Rune of Havoc to make your prefixes T7 and get a 77/xx.
Your Runes of Havoc will drop your FP by 20 each.
Wait until the next imprint proc. Repeat 10 times.
A couple dozen attempts later, you now have a 77/xx.
You're now 2 months at 15h/d in.
The imprint drop modifiers are random, so you try to fix the suffixes with Glyphs of Chaos and reroll them into random modifiers.
Repeat 20 times until you now have a 77/xx with usable suffixes.
Congratulations, you now have a slammable/usable Exalt.
Time to bring it the Exalt and Unique to the Eternity Cache.
Eternity Cache said No.
Repeat everything from 0. Sucks to suck.
Now do this 11 times, because that's how many item slots you have.
The funniest part is that I've seen people call this "deterministic", it's completely bonkers.
In PoE2, you farm your base, Essence and Omens for like 2~3 days and then make your desired item.
I did bring it into feedback + suggestions, and it is clearly by design.
But when I read the forum post about the game "unfortunately being less profitable than expected": Yea I'm not surprised people quit.
Anyway: that's why you'd play MG.
There are only 2 possible consequences for anti-player mechanics:
- people find ways to avoid them (MG)
- low player retention
I love the irony of the "how to make slammable bases" text doubles as a guide and "this sucks" lol
The exact steps will vary by the unique you've got. A good starting point would be an Exalted 1H Axe with a random T7 and either the Minion Melee & Bow or Minion Melee & Spell.
Example item:
T7 prefix.
any prefix.
any tier minion melee & bow/spell suffix.
any suffix.
First step, to try to get the second minion melee on the item you'll need an open suffix slot. If the other suffix on the item is low tier, try Glyph of Despair. On an Exalted item with 4x affixes, Despair is guaranteed to Seal a T1. As the tier goes up the chance becomes lower. Chart here https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/seal-chance. Alternatives to Despair: If below other suffix is below T5 you can try to Chaos and hope it randomly turns into the suffix you want. Minion melee & bow/spell are rare, but it's possible. If the other suffix is T5+, then it's just Removal and hope it removes the other suffix, but if it removes the T7 you're starting over with a new item.
Let's say either Despair or Removal was successful, so the item has
T7 prefix.
any prefix.
minion melee & bow/spell suffix.
now open suffix slot.
And if Despair, then also a Sealed suffix that won't be used in LP crafting.
Second step, craft on the second minion melee & bow/spell suffix. Now that the item has 4 affixes again, third step, use Havoc and hope the T7 is shuffled onto either of the minion melee & bow/spell suffixes. Fourth step, if there's any FP left, you'd craft up the non-T7 minion melee & bow/spell suffix to as high as you can get it. So you'd hopefully end up with a T7 and T5.
Optional final step, if there's still FP, you can use Rune of Creation to duplicate the Exalted item. Giving you an extra chance to try again with the LP 2 crafting, as you can only guarantee 1x affix transfer. So you'd the T7 and there's a 1 in 3 chance the T5 you want is also transferred. If it isn't, you try again with your duplicate or start over by making another Exalted.
🙂
Before 1.2 the entire Eternity Cache was randomized. You just had to hope it transferred something usable.
1.2 update added that T2+ Temporal Sanctum gives you 1x guaranteed affix transfer.
I like the 1x guaranteed and would rather it not go back to the old system, but compared to the old system, it's very easy to make a great 1 LP item now. Especially with Havocs. Almost too easy
I agree that getting one wanted T7 drop and a usable 1 LP Unique is reasonable.
very helpful i lvoe you goat
LOL love when that happens, or when you use a rune of removal and manage to remove the right affix but lose the max amount of FP
You're welcome, Rune of Redemption is another option if there's a T7 suffix and the other suffix is a minion melee & bow/spell.
I personally haven't had much luck with that
You're making this sound like the item isn't gonna be at 0 FP after the 2nd Glyph
It's not a binary (either you have targeting or you don't) problem, there are many systems and balances that already exist. I'm not suggesting to make progression easier, what I personally think end game needs is more agency and opportunity to invest effort/RNG into specific goals. "Roll a new character" to use a rare drop is not really what I mean.
EHG already has gone into this direction with the woven crafting echos, Turtle / Strife are examples of what I mean. These are great for agency. Strife can make a terrible roll unique into something useful. Turtle can take something with not enough LP to be a worthwhile upgrade and make it useful.
These are both end game gear sinks, I'm just suggesting a different type of gear sink.
IDK how we can call gambaing with Havoc / Chaos / Removal and praying to FP "agency"
I've also come across this on the Steam Store page and I think it's funny
I think that's a separate discussion tbh. You can't have 0 rng or there is no ARPG imo
You can use Glyph of Hope with everything except another Glyph like Despair/Chaos. So you can get lucky with that and random critical crafts.
But yeah, it's a lot of randomness
How do we jump from "Havoc / Chaos / Removal / FP isn't agency" to "So you want no RNG at all?"
I didn't say that's what you wanted, my point was that you can have determinism and also failures
If you've got suggestions or feedback, post them in #suggestions or #feedback . The devs do compile the player's input and review it
I mean this is objectively true when it comes to things like affix shards as well as the lp system to an extent
as well as other mechanics
It doesn't say all upgrade mechanics are fully deterministic
Affix shards and the option to choose 1 are such a miniscule portion of the gigantic slot machine pull overall, it's still a vast misrepresentation
I'd disagree
I think they're pretty major parts
Basically what ARPG progression looks like is you want to get from A to B, the path from A to B is essentially deterministic in that you could eventually get to B given enough time and effort, where RNG comes in is how much variance is in each individuals journey from A to B.
Super deterministic would be A to B is fixed, it always takes the same amount of effort. Super RNG is that it might take one person 1m times more effort than another.
for Imprint crafting?
In general
The crafting system as a whole is very deterministic, with the only rng elements being there for "saving" an item
Let's say you spend 5 hours in the campaign, then 20 more hours in normal mono and low corruption.
The remainder of your playtime is imprint farming.
things like despair, chaos, removal, havoc and redemption are all used to "save" an item
And Imprint farming is "slam Havoc / Removal / Chaos and pray to FP"
they make bad items have a second chance at life
but the crafting that just makes an item better (adding and upgrading affixes) is literally guaranteed every time. the only rng is fp cost
I agree with you if it's about campaign and low mono crafting
but you can't "fail" upgrading an affix
You're interpreting a sentence saying a thing exists in the system that's deterministic as the entire system being deterministic I feel
Personally I think some pity system to prevent really long streaks of bad RNG wouldn't be a bad thing though.
Eg. Is in slormancer, if you roll an affix the previous outcome becomes blocked until you've cycled through every other outcome. So for havoc that could mean once you roll over a permutation you won't hit that again until you've seen every permutation
I'm saying that for the majority of the playtime, the system has close to 0 determinism.
I guess it depends on how you use your time. I personally don't really chase 0,1% lp odds
Lowest I'll go is like 0.8% maybe. Usually anything lower than 1% I won't go for unless it's easy to grind out
I'm fine with the LP system, my issue is with Exalt Imprint crafting (aka your core gameplay loop after the first 30h or so), which basically entirely consiststs of slamming Havoc / Removal / Chaos and praying.
So that one system isn't deterministic, but because it's such a major part of your overall progression the statement that the game features deterministic systems is false or even just misleading? xd
I won't "chase" those odds either but if I did happen to get really lucky and get one naturally it would be nice if I had some options that eventually lead to a guaranteed outcome, even if the "cost" was 10x higher or how long it takes was highly variable
Oh yeah I totally agree
I had this convo earlier with some others I think, I think you were there too right
Yeah. It's like the imprint thing Lilith is talking about
If we had some pinnacle boss or some other content or system that you either pay a big price or overcome a challenge/grind to get a guaranteed slam I'm all for it
just don't make it 300 havocs or something boring is my stance
If your core gameplay loop after the first 30h has 0 determinism, then presenting the game as deterministic is false, yes.
Right now you brick 20 imprints trying to get a good base like no big deal. What if instead of just waiting for another base to throw into the trash bin like a disposable napkin you had a way to recycle ones you've already dropped
If your imprint is your entire progression we just don't play the same way ig
Maybe start over, not necessarily craft into the same item indefinitely as that would be direct power creep
Yeah Imo whatever cost/boss/system they add should just revert the item to the lp it had
or just guarantee the slam, either works
but a guaranteed slams cost, especially for 3 lp should be steep
What do you mean? After 1LPs are done it is just imprints though
^
Steep and based on LP level.
maybe i'm biased because the game used to be SO much less deterministic than it used to be but I actually think if you compare to 1.0 or beta the game is far more deterministic than it ever has been
I agree. Crafting gets easier every major update
A decent chunk of my uniques come from bosses
25% of your slam being fixed is such huge player power
and as we’ve introduced more determinism it seems to only move the needle as people consider the next “RNG ceiling” to be completely random
I wrote here, albeit in a slightly sarcastic tone, essentially the gameplay loop of imprint crafting step by step.
I see 0 determinism in this, it's just pure gamba.
for the ones that don't yeah it's basically just imprint
Tbh I don't think determinism and how good progression feels are directly linked. I think two systems with equal determinism could "feel" vastly different to the player depending on implementation
but for the ones that do imprints don't do anything
So I really wouldn't say my entire progression is imprints
Outside of imprints you still also got your prophecies, raw drops, turtle and nemesis.
Let's say you play through campaign, do monos, get empowered, get you 1 LPs, do Aberroth.
You're like 30h in. What now?
With imprint crafting
hmm
If i want a 2lp wings, or an lp primordial
imprints aren't helping me get that
the exalts for those are easy to get
don't need imprints for that either
Imprints are the main loop for world drop uniques
and multi exalt slam fodder
But that's not the whole game
we used to have non-guaranteed 1LPs (which I have no interest in revisiting, to be clear) then the argument was “hitting your t7 is pure gamba” and now that a t7 is guaranteed instead of saying the game is more determenistic it just shifted the same argument to “hitting a second t7 is pure gamba”
Basically my point is even if imprints were 100000000000000000000x more powerful and instantly gave you the best possible result there'd still be a lot of grinding left for a lot of builds.
For example there's now:
1x guaranteed affix transfer.
Attribute swap for 1 FP, guaranteed.
Experimental craft for 1 FP, guaranteed.
Affix value rerolls on legendaries.
LP reroll, sure most are 0 LP, but even Nemesis Egg is an improvement chance now for regular 0 LP uniques.
Havocs are huge.
Redemption and now Envy give a chance that an item isn't immediately thrown out.
Set Reforge - although I wish there were more opportunities for this.
Idol enchants, re-enchants, and reforging.
Etc.
Compared to 1.0 and earlier crafting where your only options were really Despair/Removal and then hope on the 100% random Eternity Cache that you got anything at all
also the absolute vast majority minmaxed builds can do all content in the game presently without the need for 2t7s, 2t7s are an aspirational ceiling that is rarely ever required
That's a whole separate topic though
It's not?
So is the comparison to 1.0
all those are deterministic systems
how so
that let you upgrade
Because how it used to be is irrelevant when I'm critiquing the status quo. It may have been worse before, but I fail to see how that devalues my point
I did specify Exalt crafting for >1 LP though.
the reason I’m bringing up how it used to be is to highlight the fact that introducing more determinism hasn’t actually shifted this argument, it’s only raised the floor of what gear players expect to get to the next point at which more RNG is introduced.
Regardless of the past or how other systems in the game may be, if a system is "slam Havoc / Removal / Chaos and pray", I have no agency.
And this is your core gameplay loop once you have acquired your 1 LPs, for the next how many hundred hours you decide to play this char.
you like the trove gameplay loop?
Tbh I think the item imprints were a straight up mistake. The fact that they're relied upon as your main source of "good" items is super unhealthy for the game imo
I disagree with your premise, but let’s assume I do agree. what content in the game are double t7s required for?
0.9.8 was the golden age for loot in LE imo
That's a different topic. Which part do you disagree with though?
Or to 1.1 that added Nemesis Egg. Letting you do something with regular uniques.
Or to 1.2 that added 1x guaranteed affix transfer, attribute swap guaranteed, experimental affix guaranteed, set reforge crafting, legendary values rerolls, LP rerolls, Havoc and Redemption, idol enchants and re-enchants, etc
Or to 1.3 that added guaranteed T8, Envy to change base type, idol rerolls, etc
I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff
Anyway, my opinion is that it's getting easier every major update. That's fine if it's not your opinion. Post your suggestions and feedback into #suggestions and #feedback if you want the devs to see it.
it’s not necessarily, if they are not required to do any content they are aspirational chase items that can give players a high grind ceiling to absolutely minmax their characters
i disagree with the notion that getting 2LP double t7s is pure random, and I also disagree with your suggestion of how long it takes.
and I also view it as being fine for aspirational chase items to have high RNG, as otherwise there would be nothing to chase for.
Do you disagree with this part:
if a system is "slam Havoc / Removal / Chaos and pray", I have no agency.
I agree with that statement
but it has nothing to do with this
sure, I would agree that you have no agency if that were true, but I think it’s an incredibly reductive way to view the large number of deterministic systems we have in the game.
Would you disagree that this is basically all you do after getting your 1 LPs?
and I don’t agree that that is the entire system either.
yes.
How else do you upgrade?
What remains after getting your 1 LP is getting your 2, 3, 4. And we need Exalts for that.
So is this not the stage where we imprint craft (and do the gameplay loop I mentioned) and spam troves?
I think that havocs are an important tool for upgrading, particularly beyond 1LP, as are runes of removal and glyphs of chaos. but there is so much more that goes into obtaining those items especially if you want to obtain them efficiently that I view looking at it in that manner as a reductive view of 2LP+ farming.
Please elaborate
I like imprint farming as a whole
What I don't like is that the optimization part of it as a whole feels stale currently
In a perfect world, imprinting should be "strong" in many different maps
I've seen the idea several times that Removals shouldn't cost FP.
Perhaps making Runes (Removal, Havoc) overall much less punishing could be the idea.
Why though? are we weak?
this is an incredibly complex topic. there’s RNG at every step (as is the case with every ARPG) but being efficient and experienced with the game means being able to manipulate RNG so the outcomes shift more in your favour to significantly increase the odds of desired outcomes. for example, obtaining your first double t7 drop is a huge layer of RNG here. if you just play normally, the amount of time it’s going to take you to even find a good double t7 starting point for your imprints is going to be extremely long. You’re clearly at the step where you’ve obtained your double t7 imprint bases, which means you probably understand the most efficient ways to obtain your different bases. this is true of every step of the process from obtaining your double t7 base to begin your imprint to refining your imprints, obtaining your desired uniques, and being able to maximize the likelihood of your desired outcome during a craft and slam.
To make them suck less to use
or would you rather they nerf tier 7 affixes
and make it easier to achieve them
they can't just make all these things easier/better
we're already way too strong compared to the content we have
outside of uber abby
🍿🍿
even for uber abby there's a lot of builds that'll shit on him tbh lul
I agree, but I dont think that has much to do with my point of Runes currently sucking
Also I gotta read Daimonos one sec
Idk I don't mind them
Agree
If you want multi t7/6 you use an exalted
or 1 prefix 1 suffix
Well tbh I think items in general just shouldn't be able to have multiple exalted affixes, or be limited to 1 prefix and 1 suffix at most
Or maybe let normal items be, but only be able to slam up to tier 5 or 6
I'm not opposed to reducing player power as a whole. I am not criticising that we are currently too weak either.
It's the system itself that I have issues with.
I'd welcome an adjustment to Runes.
Well this would basically solve that
Yes
it'd be way more determenistic to get the item you need if it's not a 4 T7 all bis affix item that you're chasing
None of these things address the innate power of different items though. Thats the whole point of the LP system.
Having one T7 on Red Ring is a very different thing than one T7 on kestral or tongue ring
Sorry, I don't really want to scroll back, what don't you like about runes?
Yeah but on the kestral you can have 4 affixes
on red ring you can only have one
maybe two, but imo items should have an lp limit too
and rr for example should be limited to 1lp
if not 0 tbh
I'd be very down for a red ring buff and then just making it unable to have lp
make it even rarer too
i’m in favor of LP caps but I think that’s perhaps a little extreme
You know what I really like about LE crafting, not needing to use a site like craftofexile.com as a simulator to begin to figure out how to make an item
LP limit is not the same as making the legendary though. I'm fine with a limit but that just changes perception of what's realistic if you aren't experienced enough to decide for yourself on a per item basis
The very condensed version is "Once you have acquired your 1 LPs, your core gameplay loop is Imprint crafting and Imprint farming, and what you do is 'slam Havoc / Removal / Chaos and pray'."
One argument I have seen against that is, it will limit the amount of time people can sink in their character
Don't try for a red ring then
same as people with limited time don't try for a mageblood
Pinnacle content and items are pinnacle for a reason
Sure but that's fine
You get your RR and your char is done
Why just make it impossible though? Even if I wouldn't farm for an item part of the excitement of ARPG is that you "could" get that giga drop at any moment
Make it so rare that getting a red ring at all is the same as getting a 1lp red ring now
Instead you could grind for a 3lp 💀
based on the LE:O follow up i’m not entirely sure that is fine rn
I mean I never said make it impossible
You said limit though
oh lp wise?
yes make it impossible
Like 1lp is still fine
but 2lp shouldn't even be a thing imo
because that's how you get people that feel entitled to it and complain that they can't get it
which we see a lot of
Just give me garantied 3lp slams already
I'm fine with high limits that no one could realistically expect to farm. 2LP red ring for example I'm not sure where I would put that. It is technically farmable by a human
Imo a maxed out character being achievable is fine
it's a seasonal game
you're not meant to spend a gazillion hours slowly getting 0.00001% more power every year worth of playtime
Id say 3LP RR doesn't need to exist. If you need scientific notation to represent the drop chance it's probably fine to just have a hard cut off lmao
Yus gimme guaranteed lp3 with -75% drop rate xdd
@blazing glacier I'm extremely curious what you think about "your core gameplay post 1 LPs is imprint crafting/farming" and "imprint crafting is slamming Havoc / Removal / Chaos and pray". Most of my introduction to anything, including crafting, in this game has come from you, so I'd like to hear your thoughts.
If in 2-3 months as a blasted you can expect a literally BIS maxed out character that's fine by me
like 0 room for improvement
outside of maybe some rolls being a few percentages off
I think imprints are just way too strong relative to everything else, personally.
Same
yeah I agree that the limit should be generous. 2LP for things like red ring/rav void etc should be fine
I'd be happy about Vlads suggestion of limiting slams to 1 T7 as well.
Getting a 75/55 is less of a soul sucking gambafest than a 77/55 is and also functions as a way to limit player power
And it opens the choice a bit between exalts and legendary
Basically every other source of drops that doesn't have any "similar" mechanic built in, each new layer of potential strength that exists puts imprints further above. Because that's another RNG check that has to pass without "similar" bonus.
Eg. If you want a double 77 for a slam, without imprints it's hard but I guess someone could do it with prophecies, nemesis and havoc.
Now add onto that a seal and maybe a good base type, not going to happen.
Otherwise you never have a reason to go exalted since you can get one onto a unique
the thing is, you also can’t just go in and put a LP limit based entirely LPL, you’d have to do it for each item individually because even two items with the same LPL can have vast differences in difficulty to obtain with LP
Imo that's basically the same as no limit
who's getting a 3lp red ring right now xd
2LP RR/rav void can currently be done though, especially if you play legacy
You should write that as a suggestion, I genuinely love the idea.
I know we are talking about exalts specifically for imprints but also, good rolls on uniques with big roll ranges are actually insanely boosted by imprints.
but 2lp red ring shouldn't be a thing imo
Just nerf imprints
if they just nerf imprints and keep the rest as is, it will suck even more
Make them complementary instead of the main source
it limits it to what can plausibly be obtained anyways
change imprint trigger conditions so they can actually be reasonably obtained by doing a variety of content
if we had the one t7 limit on slams however, that would make the progress of obtaining slammable exalts for 2~4 lp uniques much more player friendly.
This is very true
that is the number 1 change that needs to happen to imprints imo
I think both, the COF prophecy system needs an overhaul. It just sucks late game. It almost gets to the point where even rolling my prophecies is a less productive use of time than just farming more imprint procs. Literally the time it takes to spend the favor I already earned is barely worth it.
I use CoF rerolls for Havoc, because it is the main way I'm getting any at the moment
only thing prophecies are worth for in super endgame anymore is idols and guess what the one item you can’t imprint is
Rerolling proph makes me want to jump out of the window
same
Don.t worry guys soon🤣
guys we get 500 favor for joining cof now and they added like 5 new icons, CoF qol is saved!!!
I am already not buying the item I want (and that's fine I like the loot explosion)
But ffs just let me buy the prophecies I want, and in bulk
Or a least press space bar to reroll faster
Also the fact that exalt imprints basically don't get boosted by COF seems like an oversight.
I'm gonna write your idea in the suggestions now
i think there should be some downtime (mike mentioned downtime between blasting sessions being important, and i agree) but reducing the downtime from an hour to 5-10 minutes would be so much better
turtle is the most fun downtime bc turtle gamba xd
It would be a huge bandaid and I don't think it's the correct solution, but just replace the entire prophecy system with a few imprint sockets and I'll be happy
I think honestly like ux changes would go a long way
ux changes and lens improvements are all that is really needed, imo
there was a long post someone made suggesting a bunch of lens changes back in season 2 and it was fantastic
genuinely one of the best suggestions i’ve ever seen made about this game
you mean keeping them?
I don't know why we can't just purchase prophecies from the vendor
Lilith, just to bounce back on the suggestion you posted.
If you have a 7755 or 7655 or whatever, you can slam it. But only the t7 you locked will stay t7. The rest would go down
It feels backwards, no? MG should have high baseline drops so they can sell shit, COF should have imprints and the prophecies (but no passive cof boosts)
Maybe there is an argument for allowing multiple t6
I think only allowing 75/55 slams would elevate exalts more as a viable choice over allowing 76/66
I would love to see that idea implemented, there are so many benefits to it
I meant 6/6 not 7/6
ah
Yea thats what I mean
Sure yeah actually, except for the things you can't target with prophecies like boss drops
imagine the mg rage lol, 60-90% chance to retain a T7
Is rogue easier to level looking for a faster class
hey I have a question... is gifting gold to a friend with the MG allowed?
there's an older pin the MG channel that was posted by a previous community manager back when the game still had player to player trade that says
player to player trade has since been removed and to help combat RMT and gold sellers, the devs do monitor trades on the Bazaar.
buying a junk item from your friend for millions and millions of gold will set of flags that it's a suspicious transaction, may be RMT, and can get your account banned
random example, this player sold a junk item for 230 million to a gold seller, got caught, and tried to argue their way out of it in the ask devs channel of all places #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs message
has anyone else experienced a bug where shared timeline progress is not available to their alt despite having unlocked empowered on a previous character? and if so is there a workaround?
Is anyone having issue with rubber banding? It’s kinda hard to enjoy the game.
trying to farm gear for my character, i tried to gloves on last epoch tools but find anything and max roll didnt have a dedicated farm info on it, is it just smt that is a world drop from bosses, chest etc
that's 6 affixes:
need a double T7 item
make ias primordial
seal frailty (from a champion imprint or gylph of despair)
ahh i see cheers mate
best shot is probably a non-champion imprint with plated gauntlets 2 T7 of stats/attack speed, frailty, and hybrid hp sealed
alr thanks
Is there any chance to buy S1 supporter pack ? I just miss it...

Do 'more damage' mods from skill trees apply to triggered skills (like multistrike triggering smite) or only subskills unique to that skill (like smite triggering fissure)?
Hi I'm new to the game and haven't leveled any char past 50
is there a trading function in this game like poe trade?
There is an auction house
is it feasible to buy some decent items while i'm still around 40-50?
you unlock the auction house at chapter 9, so whenever you reach that you can start buying stuff. but you need to earn reputation to unlock ranks before you can buy anything useful
typically while doing the campaign and early monos, the game is ssf and people dont bother buying anything until later.
oh ffs
the game is still tutorial mode at that stage, you dont really need to buy anything yet
there's a new item called a black market token though, so if there's a build defining unique that you need for your build to work, you can bypass the rank requirement and just buy it (assuming you can afford the gold)
does leaving merchant’s guild permanently remove any unspent tokens from the account, or are they preserved if returning to MG later?
Tokens stay afaik
Only favour gets removed
Man, his server tag is epic
Watch me get banned from it because I wrote that comment. GGG doing too little about trade friction and giving power to that server was one of like 4 times in 12 years I almost quit poe
- 2013-14: my irl friends got bored and quit
- 2018: I cut contact with my in-game poe-friends
- 2022 or something: realising RMT may be more rampant than I thought, items I was proud of crafting had significant odds to have been bought by RMTers, a discord allowed to act like a maffia and GGG showing weak or complacent (or corrupt) leadership about it (at first, though dev takes time I suppose)
- 2024: Jonathan seeming directly opposed to poe1 community
I wonder what way available to avoid players to do rmt too
Why Poe 2 have so many people stay? Because they can get money from in-game items. It's a trade-based ARPG.
Chris Wilson talked about this a bit in one of his videos, was pretty interesting. Of course they don't want people to know exactly how they detect people doing bad stuff because then the bad guys can use this info to better avoid detection. F2P also seems to have a bigger problem with RMT and bots since making an account is free.
Free games will always have it worse for cheating and RMT, but honestly I don't feel like RMT affects me in any way in these games because I'm not competing with anyone
It does affect you indirectly, unless you play SSF. There is more currency than otherwise would exist chasing a similar amount of items, except the extra currency is concentrated in the abusers. Basically items probably take more effort for you to buy as a non RMTer than if RMT didn't exist at all. I have no idea how much impact it actually has, might be nothing or huge.
Just saying that even as a non RMTer it's probably worth caring about it being dealt with in some way.
I guess it depends firstly whether you're MG. Even if you know what sells in a market when people RMT and can play on their inexperience, swiping mentality, and gross amount of resources, markets get skewed which often puts things out of balance (something the devs try to make sure is in a fun state). I'm not great at specifically that, but I've played ARPGs for 20k+ hours so I have heard countless people talk about the best strategies of (RMT)whale fishing. But when balance is broken, sure it's fun to predict and adapt to any market, except when nice things become completely unobtainable or pointlessly common for a cool fight that took a lot of dev time etc.
In CoF, I think it's mostly a question of how you communicate and what your mentality is. Relatively fundamental economics say that people compare themselves and their achievements to each other. You might be one of those people not on discord or just have a thick skin though. But baseline I'd assume a person is in fact affected by whether their gear (or something similar at least) is good compared to the people they chat with, although not always to a big extent
I imagine the fomo factor in LE is lesser due to player power being less concentrated in gear in the first place vs PoE or whatever?
You don't really end up going from 1k DPS to 50B dps purely from gear, and even if you get 50B dps your gameplay isn't meaningfully different than someone with 50M dps since there isn't content to justify it, at least not with rewards that scale accordingly.
In PoE I look at the dudes with 30 mirror gear and it looks like they are playing a different game. Even the disposable content they run in 5 minutes costs more to enter than most people's builds
Yup
I think there are both benefits and negatives of a game where every league in poe can just take so long to progress to the end. LE would need more content, but there's probably a point where it becomes frustrating
I get fomo, or I just satisfy with making some off meta thing that's got justified choices from some perspective given the options I'm aware of. Usually the biggest reason is gear budget
Hello, I'm having issues selecting factions on alt characters. I started playing around original launch, and all of my character since have been on legacy, offline mode. The first alt I made I was able to acess factions at the first town as intended, but haven't been able to do so on any character I've made since -- I have to wait til chapter 9 to unlock them as I did on my first character. I've seen some discussion about this on 3rd party forums but no one seems to have found a fix. Been dealing with it for about 9 months
Anyone else experiencing this or know of a better place in this Discord to report bugs?
I assume you've tried to join the factions again with the same stash and it's not just your first character every season?
Or char found
Because every new stash needs a character to reach the factions in the story before MG hears about your alts by rumour or CoF sees your alts in prophecies, and they send that act 1 delegation
yes that's correct. I've never created a seasonal character or solo found character. When I open the factions tab, it tells me I have unmerged faction data and to visit the stash. I've tried the merge stash button at the stash but it doesn't solve the faction issue and I get the same message on the faction tab.
How does a druid with Bark Skin (Spriggan>Bear transform) add time to thorn shield? I don't see any time being added at any point.
Hey, I haven't played since this game was EA years ago, and I'm a bit confused at some of the new content. How do I unlock the “Grand Brewery” Woven Echo from Masque in the Haven of Silk? The wiki/everything I google says it should be unlocked by now and available to vendor, and I need to farm it for the unique drop for an endgame piece I want. But I don't see it in the vendor list.
I've finished 8/10 of the Monoliths, I'm doing the Dragon one right now
Grand Brewery woven echo can be found as a random drop, or purchased from Masque in Haven of Silk starting at Woven faction rank 6 for 2k Memory Amber, or from Cemetery of Reweaving where you can turn 3x unwanted woven echoes into a random one.
You can increase your Woven faction rank by gaining and spending Memory Amber. Each 1x gained or spent increases rep by 1.
If you don't need anything else from Skarven Bloodhorn NPC in the Rifts, one option is to purchase the bag of 5k Memory Amber. That would increase your Rep by 10k total as it's +5k when picked up and another +5k when you spend it.
That reads like ChatGPT haha. I think what I'm hearing is "If the vendor doesn't offer that echo, you need to increase your reputation/weaver points"?
Let me try another approach to asking this: Does the vendor (Masque) always sell ALL echos that you've unlocked? Or am I not seeing the Grand Brewery echo because it just wasn't in that particular batch?
He always sell all the echoes he currently can
So you need to be rank 6 for masque to sell it
But it can drop before that
😞 I don't use that and I'm not a bot. Sorry it wasn't helpful.
You can check your current faction rank by pushing Y key to open Faction Page and see what it lists for Woven. I'm going to guess that you're not rank 6 yet.
If you have a Cemetery of Reweaving woven echo, want to place that, run it, and throw some unwanted woven echoes in at the end, that could possibly spit one out.
That or just keep playing, maybe one will drop, or over time you can get your Woven faction up enough to purchase it.
AH why didn't I see this when I searched the wiki?! Thank you!
The faction rank 6 is what I'm missing!
Thank you! That's super helpful! And I was just being playful about the ChatGPT thing, no worries 🙂
Try using https://www.lastepochtools.com and/or https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/ instead. The wiki is outdated
Oh I was referring to lastepochtools, yeah. I thought that was the wiki 😅
Ah ok, this page has a list of the woven echoes

I'm curious what's considered the tankiest ranged build at the moment.
Not sure about the most, but Reflect Shaman is tanky and hits enemies from range, although you do need to try to stay in front of them for Thicket of Blinding Light. If you're behind them, they're not looking at you or taking damage. I highly suspect Thicket will be nerfed or changed next major update, if you want to try it out before then
You never use chatgpt for anything, right?
No
It's hard to avoid AI crap now though, even doing a Google search gives you an AI summary as well
AI searching is more convenient exactly
The one thing I do like using, and I don't know if it's AI or just part of Messages on Android is the Photomoji thing. It just cuts out the background of photos and my wife and I use it for silly dog reactions in our texts
Such as
Except when the summary is wrong or gives bad info
The humorous style is as same as Wick just put a photo of "Mike is smiling" on the blog
Odd way to be humorous but it worked
Oh posted by Kain, not Wick. I mean that
smite VK and bleed hammerdin are both exceptionally tanky
What of these pieces are an ABSOLUTE NECESSITY besides Stygian coal for this build to function at any capacity?
Better off asking in #💀┃acolyte
Ok, thanks for the help
But probably twisted heart
Click on the Starting Gear tab for more basic gear. You'd need at least the Stygian Coal off hand to change Drain Life
has anyone else experienced a bug where shared timeline progress is not available to their alt despite having unlocked empowered on a previous character? and if so is there a workaround?
You need to kill a harbinger on your alt
so go do one of the lvl 90 monoliths
the level 90 timelines are locked. only fall of the outcasts is available. this has not been the case for any of my previous alts.
And you are in the same gamemode?
As in, you didn't suddenly change to solo character found or hardcore while playing softcore previously?
correct. this is not a solo character found/solo account found or hardcore character. it still has access to my stash and faction ranks.
I have, but if it gets fixed, it’s not gonna be until season 4. that’s why I was hoping somebody had a workaround.
Anyone know if the heath regen debuff associated with Damned debuff is flat, additive, or multiplicative?
It applies 20% reduced Health Regen per stack (that is additive)
So it can go negative?
Yes, but I don't think negative health regen actually does anything
question about healing hands can i benefit from turn undead and halted scourge buff it says on allies i thought the player counted as an ally but i dont see the void or necrotic buff anywhere i am procing it thru smite
An ally is someone other than yourself
thanks
He was wrong
oh thanks a lot ye i was trying to figure it out cus even when i cast it on someone else they didnt see any buff so i couldnt figure it out
Iirc not everything shows up as a buff. But I do know you count yourself as an ally for everything
Is it legacy?
no
an imprinting question, I've begun to feel that certain items are cursed and others are lucky. Anyone else noticed a large variance in 2T7 drop rates of different items when imprinting?
That's wrong, you are your own ally
Those 2 works but don't show a buff icon
Got a question regarding the mutilate node on puncture
Ask away
I'm seeing the huge number from mutilate consuming my bleed stacks crit. It was my understanding that mutilate node is dealing the remaining damage of bleeds. Not converting that damage into a puncture hit. Is the crit just because the actual puncture hit crit?
Basically I thought it would only ever be a huge white number because dots can't crit
Correct
And correct again
OK so I don't have to worry about scalling puncture damage
Since numbers are combine for clarity, if at the same time you get a crit and a dot tick it shows yellow
Yeah OK thats makes sense. I was worried I'd had some fundamental misunderstanding
Thanks for clearing that up
Here I want to clarify smth
More Dmg nodes in Puncture skill tree will make Bleeds from Puncture do more Dmg
Same thing if there is a stats that says "Increase Puncture Dmg". I don't play rogue so I don't know if it's a thing, but I Sentinel we have Inc Smite Dmg on idols
I don't know if that relevant in your case, but it's worth mentioning
I'm applying the bleeds primarily with umbral blades and just consuming them with puncture. So I've forgone most of the Scalling of puncture
damned nemesis cooking, 3 wildfire amulets and all bricked ffs. is there any really fast way to farm bones and stuff to buy those?
Double Imprint the echo with one big beast I believe gives a lot of bones
You can also get the gold blessing
And get Zerrick in your echoes for extra gold > extra bones if you fight a beast
The node in the WW tree that gives beasts a pack of mobs is nice too, because they drop bones
so is there any way to make it that only evade uses wasd direction? shift (rogue movement) is unplayable like this for me.
Why my panel looks like that, no slide bar for performance
#💬┃general message I can't find that
We use the same version of app?...
Not as far as I know. The 3 drop-down options for movement abilities in the settings all we have right now. Hoping they'll make what you request an option for the next patch coz it's a really popular request and I want to too
Can someone help me understand how to keep companions alive at high corruption?
Any ways to decrease enemy attack/cast speed apart from chill?
Class doesn't matter. I'm just remembering the halcyon days of temporal chains, curse effect, chill effect vortex occultist and wondering if I can recreate slow-motion bosses
Tragic. I'd hoped I'd overlooked something
Even if you hadn't there wouldn't be anything that lets you get to that level. But yeah you didn't
Attribute stacking, Inc Minion Hp, giving aspect of the Boar and a way to sustain (some leech most likely)
I highly doubt we'll ever get to that point
It was very funny. Spoiled me for learning Sirius on other classes
Hi all I don’t mean to be cheeky but does anyone have any spare leveling items please I’m doing a shaman build I have just started after a long time away thank you 🙂
doing the campaign can be done easily by just picking up the rares that drop
Cheers buddy thank you 🙂
no problem 🙂
Can torn rifts (Riftbeast side zones) spawn on woven echoes like Unclaimed Troves and Cemeteries of Weaving?
Anecdotally, I feel like they don't, but I'm unsure if I'm just not paying attention.
no.
<@&1161418687471956101> there is some weird spamming going on in multiple channels

where do i get temperal sanctum keys? i have lots of LP not being used, and i have never found a key. Level 74 Marksman.
Keys are all drops from mobs in the world. If you are not in endgame yet drops can be on the rarer side so if you get unlucky its not uncommon to go dry until you hit empowered monoliths
Timeline bosses or arena rewards are probably your best bet. Item Rarity should have an effect on the drop rate / if multiple drop at a time
This just looks liek Dread Shade
I wasnt at the stream and haven't played Necro in awhile tho
some aura around minions is like 99% Dread Shade in most cases
Make sense, just this shade which for minions is necrotic
im sure his skill bar would show you
lol my impression for dread shade stay at a ghost floating at the head of a minion
Pretty sure that's a mtx
you can confirm if its the mts by checking in the store
is there a way i can turn a rare into an exalted? or its not like magic>rare?
Exalted is drop only
ok thankyou
hhhhhhhhhh 😅
I just finding skill mtx which match with that
Oh get it. Thanks, Vlad
No idea what the floating stuff is yet, though
Ohhhhhh... Appreciate it so much. So they're hands
🤔 Interesting concept it have
Kinda classic puppeteer idk
I'll never think about that without le
Maybe its a popular thing in the west
it remind me of shadow play
A historical way to enjoy animation
Like that, but it's closed to be disappeared because too less people want to learn and enjoy that. We have phones now, we don't need this way to get fun anymore... Such a pity
Yes, it's the most interesting and cool mtx I seen. Puppeteer is quite cool in game
does anyone know why my damage on killing stuff is only in the 1-6k damage range? im a fully built heartseeker rogue. are the "damage numbers" broken for heartseeker or something?
is there a german speaking ... need support
Enemies have 87% damage reduction at area level 100

I've been wondering why the Rahyeh we fight deals Void damage and is Void related, when the whole Rahyeh conflict was in the Divine era, and Void is associated with the Ruined Era.
Does it imply that Orobyss corrupted / manipulated Rahyeh into starting the war in the first place?
it does imply this, yes, but its not specified yet. assuming that this is part of the missing 2 chapters....or it could just be a very later version of rahyeh that was corrupted after the war
That's a pretty big plot twist
What's this little plus sign and the number that let me add stability about?
Is it just free stability? How does the number recharge?
Temporal Keystones let you add stability.
In the Temple in the Sky, Eterra refers to the Observer as "my brother". Is this meant literally?
Thanks!
Two questions: what is the impactfulness of fire penetration (or any) in terms of damage? Is it worth investing in for a fire damage build, or is it conditional? Is less damage taken stats cumulative? If I have two red rings do I add the less damage stats on both?
pen is essentially a more modifier, its always useful. though all stats are conditional cuz something else might be more useful in terms of dmg/easier to get
dr isnt cumulative. so if you have 2 rings 100-10%=90-10%=81%
Thanks! I am not a math brain but why is 90-10 =81 and not 80?
It's 10% less dmg, so it's multiplicative
The math is like this
100% x 0.9 x 0.9 = 81%
Hello travelers,
TLDR: please help me find a build, not brainless 1 button, not piano.
I’m a relatively new player on LE (second season playing) and admittedly I dont have much time to play, so I have not been able to explore much. I also don’t watch build guides because I want to find my own.
However I’ve had a hard time finding an engaging build so I’m asking for advice here.
Last season I played chaos bolt + fissures warlock and it was awesome. This season I’m trying Flay reaper and it’s honestly boring. Also tried sprigan druid but it was simple and not engaging.
The Rahyeh we fight in the Black Sun timeline is resurrected by Orobyss at the end of the Imperial Era, long after he was killed at the end of the Divine Era. Also note that the monolith timelines are alternate "what if" stories that don't happen in the main timeline/campaign.
LB runemaster might be for you if you enjoyed fissures warlock.
LB being the main skill and the traversal proccing runic invocation?
RI optional, but usually there's space for it.
Multistrike + Smite Paladin/ VK
Storm Crow Beast Master
question about the prestige/elite/ect (whatever you wanna call em) classes. do i naturally get access by going through the story or is it just like a set level requirement type deal?
It is part of the story quest
thank you 🙂
what's odd is i think i just got there in the story. LOL
honestly thought it should've taken me more than 2.5 hours of play to get to it but that is just me
Nice! lol
now to wait till i can put points into said mastery class 😉
Can someone explain what Incubated Silk does? Does the enemy inside provide more Memory Amber? Or is the value of this node to avoid the little scurrying bug in inside?
Hey all I lost my in store cosmetics does anybody know what happened?
the game community decided to troll me instead of help lol

Maybe try to verify the Integrity of your files. Outside of that I'd contact support
yeah none of my DLC is showing up
Does Oerden's Watch allow me to swap my Legendarys Attunement to Intelligence or does it not work with Legendaries?
Nope
White icons are for generic types
Like White body armor means "Armor"
Instead of Body armor
oooh ok
the seasons content, are cumulative? im just starting S3 with a new season character (already lvl 54), but i couldn't find any tomb from past season. 🤔
Yes, Tombs and Cemeteries are still there. But you won't get a Torn Rift - yellow-ish color with an Ancient Era side area - in the same area with a content like the Tombs side area. But you can get Mysterious Rifts - green-ish with just Rift Beast.
If you haven't found any Tombs or Cemeteries, keep going and you'll find some sooner or later
guys where do you farm rehyeh's light
Also COF - prophecies for Unique Shield
Heya guys
new player here.
May I know when finish season 3?
Also when will start the new season
It'll be in a couple months or so
And season 4 starts when season 3 ends
thanks buddy
May I know if the content of the season will be available also in offline mode?
Understandable, but I clear stuff basically one shot in my monoliths at the moment, but it still shows low damage text, when sheet damage of my heartseeker shows at least 32k
If your base attack rate is lower than 1.00 it's natural for each hit to be smaller than your dps estimate value (also taking into account thing like armor, resists, etc.)
what im saying is i kill super fast, even with 1 or 2 attacks. i kill faster than my brothers necro that hits average 1m crit. its displaying less than 5k hit damage, i just think the damage displayed from heartseeker is wrong XD
What number are you expecting to see?
at level 80, not 3-5k hits lmao
At level 80 that sounds about right. Especially with starter gear.
are you naturally negative? lmao - why are u assuming i have starter gear XD
Cause at level 80 you have very basic gear unless you have boosted slammed gear from an alt thats why,idk why you get mad🤣
Yeah, level 80 is day 1 stuff when your char is less than 24hrs and you're at or below 100 corr.
If you had blasting gear the higher speed and XP would naturally push you to 92-94.

Take a note here... What a detailed review is 👍
anyone know why i'm not seeing rifts once i get to echos?
Unlucky ? Or maybe not exploring enough ?
i've cleard 2 monoliths, can't remember seeing any since i left the quest line
just didn't know if there was something i needed to do, a known bug, or anything else i just didn't understand about them
Do,nt need to do anything special
No bug that I am aware of
The spawn rate scale with area lvl and corruption iirc
ok, thanks man
I get infinite loading screens when transitioning between zones about 20% of the time, and "echo already in progress" error from time to time. Tried checking steam files and moving the game to another drive
with the Nemesis thing... the Egg of the forgotten.. if i put an item in that, does the item disappear? like can i put my weapon in it and then do the upgrade feature? or do i have to use a duplicate item?
You have to use a duplicate
You actively put your items in the egg
okay thankyou, i guess ill buy a basic version of my bow, and hope to roll something cool on it! LD thanks
My understanding: A game dev team which own a pay-to-play game without any subscriptions or poor mtx sales will not have power to fix bugs because these bugs just inflect endgame, endgame is what core players (poor percentage of all players) plays only, which mean less potential to get money from them.
🤔 ...That's a good bomb to explode the player's mood if it spoke from the dev side
https://www.lastepochtools.com/skills/multistrike/tree is the Blitz node (on the right) working also for additionnal swords ?
1 000 - 6 000/0.13 = 7 700 - 46 000 so it checks out
Sheet DPS doesn't take monster DR into account
what is ASDASD?
Doesn't look like any Last Epoch item I've ever seen
i have this text on every other item
maybe localisation error
also in russian translation most interface button names don't start with capital letters
This most likely
Look at the game's chat window when you first enter an echo, if there's a rift anywhere in that echo, it prints a message about a nearby rift right after loading in, so you know to look for one
@wintry oyster why do you stack time rot duration with idols if cycle of decay in anomaly is bugged and does nothing?
do you want to do 100 damage over 3 seconds or 300 damage over 9 seconds?
nothing in your vid survives 9 sec 😅
when you press anomaly your dots bleed out immediately
so you'd cash out 300 damage with a 9 seconds dot instead of 100 for a 3 seconds dot
ah, so it does work even with the bugged version of quicksand
even if quicksand wasn't bugged you'd want enough duration to have full uptime on your rot
which you would not have with javelin and no duration increase
since im dev orb version, they keep reapplying
im not familiar with big dev orb
it just stands there and keeps appying TR evet sec
every
anyway, just killed normal aby with the build last night in HC
Gg!
nice
so you have 1 orb applying time rot every second for its duration?
what's the "cooldown" on that orb
yeah, I spawn 8 orbs and then consume them to make a big orb with this node in dev orb
That node confuses me a bit
have scuffed gear, the CD right now is 2,9seconds, but you need to cast it 4 times before you can make a new big one again
should be additive
Because the exemple says 3 Orb get 12% less dmg
8x100 and 8*6 when I consume 8
i mean 0.88 damage multiplier doesnt check out with either way of doing the math lol
hmm, I dind't even read that...that has to be a typo though 🤔
prob a mistake
Is 8 the sweet spot?
ye
yes, but 6 and 10 are not far off
and I pretty much always have an even amount of orbs due to this one in volatile reversal, unless I f something up
Yeah I used that too when I tried to make Spell DoT DOrb
Is that with additive or multiplicative?
additive
multiplicative (but im pretty sure it's not)
but ye i think dev orb doesnt technically need duration aside from quicksand
like u should have over 400% timerot chance which is 4 stacks per second, so 12 stacks over 3 seconds which is the base duration for timerot
assuming you have full uptime on that dev orb
but ofc in practice quicksand exists
at 300c now and everything insta dies that's not a boss. regular trash even dies from 1 regualr orb
so I think durtaion might be the play even for this build
ye i use normal dev orbs to clear trash
The stacks are not multiplicative with each other, but the total more damage and less damage multis are multiplicative with each other, so the first one is right
yeah the question was whether stacks were multiplicative with each other (for the -6% line specifically)
now what i want to know is hypothetically if you consumed 20 dev orbs, is there a world in which you can heal your enemies 🤔
Negative damage doesn't heal, it would just not do any damage
yeah i figured
but since i don't know of any other way to do negative damage i was wondering if that was actually coded into the game 🤔
guess I've reached the point in the char progression where the game actively starts to try to get you to rage quit again.
why does my lastepochtools planner say I have 58% movespeed? I have 108% in game
mouse over it, it shows you which sources it counts
if you have crab ring for instance, that's not counted. or anything coming from spells
ohh i have crab ring and shattered worlds
that must be why
has anyone had the bug when they start a fresh echo sometimes for the first 5 seconds the enemies are invisible? I already reported this with f8 like 2 weeks ago
I get that sometimes but not for 5 seconds, maybe 2 max
for me its definitely at least 5 seconds. I actually go out and using my sync strike + shadow cascade and can kill invisible enemies that drop loot.
Can Egg give more than 2 LP on an item ?
Yes
Is rare tho
Just like regular 3lp drops
Also how rare depends on the item
Hmm im trying to figure out the process to get better stats on items.. do people turtle 1LPs first and try to get multiple LP2 before trying to increase base stats of an item? And if bricked getting LP through an egg can those be sacrificed to increase another LP item?
Depends on the lpl
If you're CoF you can roll stats on uniques that have 20 or lower lpl before putting them in the egg
In general i'd get a bunch, get them all egg'd, use the ones that get affixes to reroll bad rolls to try and get better rolls, turtle everything
Repeat
Thought you couldnt turtle items that LP is already on
It's the opposite
You can't egg items with lp
You can only turtle things that have lp
turtle it has to have lp
at under 20 lpl if you have the CoF bonus you can loop them forever
If what frozen said about the egg lp roll function is accurate. I haven't checked it myself but I trust him
and it's consistent with pretty much all other lp roll functions
Sorry for me when you say LPL im getting lost my b.. im thinking like 1-4 LP... you are obviously talking about something else
LPL is the effective level of the item when it comes to rolling lp
higher lpl makes getting lp rarer
Like an item can have a level requirement of 70 but an lpl of 0, making is extremely easy to get lp
even guaranteed with CoF
Hmm ok another dumb question how do you check LPL?
You can't in-game
you have to look it up on a third party site like le tools
Level for legendary potential is lpl
Appreciate it ill check it out.. if they are LPL over 20/21 though at that point the process would end up being a bit different
yeah at 21+ lpl I'd roll for lp first using egg and turtle
Basically because through egg even if turtle bums it, its almost a guaranteed LP
since egg won't always give lp
Gotcha ty
Counterpoint: if it's higher LPL you really don't wanna roll high LP on a bad roll
Cos you get less opportunities to reroll it
Yes but you get less chances at that higher lp if you do that
since you gotta sacrifice potential turtle fodder
frozen mathed it out I think
what if you have for example a high LP item that dropped with bad rolls?
Egg others, use results that have that many or more affix rolls to reroll
gotcha... how about weaver tree? higher LP or better stats?
if you had to choose one or the other*
The thing is high lpl uniques will often become legendaries when you egg them too, which you can use as reroll fodder
it's not unusual to get 2 affixes on fairly high lpl uniques
k I appreciate your guys help ty makes a bit more sense now.
Not really sure what you're asking here, the weaver tree doesn't really offer that choice
imprinting*
would you imprint a higher LP lets say LP3 or an LP1 with better base rolls
Ah, hmmm
Depends on the item and/or your build and/or your goals
If the item has a singular critical stat you'd rather get more that drop with that stat being high
gotcha
@wintry oyster Posting here to not dissuade Mike from pulling up more actual numbers. Potion drops are not super simple, this is what I have on them from patch notes etc.
When a potion tries to drop, it checks a 16 radius circle around it (pretty huge area). If there are any potions already in that area, 12% chance to cancel the drop. If there are enough potions already on the ground to bring you to full potions, 85% chance to cancel the drop.
There might also be a simple full/not full check, not sure on that.
We don't know the base drop rate yet nor the drop chance on damaging a boss. Bosses have a rate limit as well.
thank you
what should be the first thing i farm for?
this is vk wp
shouldnt i be losing gaze of orobyss if I die in confluence of oblivion?
Hey I'm pretty new. I need the helmet "chorus of the anurok" how to farm a unique the best way?
This one is a primordial unique so you can‘t get it the usual way, need to hunt rift beasts for it to drop/buy from vendor.
Think it was made in 1.2 that you no longer lose gazes if you die there
Hi guys, does anoyone Has issue like i do? I try to play LE on Lenovo legion go, i select Full offline mode, but Once i am in the Menu everything stutters like hell, even the music (basically cant even click on anything) ... I verified files, re-installed the game, nothing seems to work
If you have an nvidia gpu go into the nividia app and "revert" the optimization it does on the game
same thing goes for amd gpu's and adrenaline
I have AMD adrenalin, what do u mean by reverting optimalization?
I set Up a performance settings for LE
Or how to revert it ? Im kinda noob in these things
Sorry I don't have adrenaline (I'm on an nvidia gpu) so I'm not sure how it looks there. Basically just try to turn off any control it has over Last epochs settings
I see, will try...
Because i did play the game before on different handheld and it worked
why is the ingame lfg chat channel so useless?
cuz game kinda dead atm and also most ppl don,t wanna team up n play solo instead🤣
what a fookin joke
i ounce was looking for trove sharing farm in lfg and IG chat for 40min until i found guy who wanna team up xd
might as well go back to playing diablo
at least last time i touched that game it had a functioning lfg system and not just a channel XD
The vast majority of ARPG players don't really play in parties, it's rather uncommon for any player to player interaction to be longer than just trading an item
hello people im a beginner and i really wanted play the primal serpent , its a subnod of serpent strike sadly , i see no one build this on internet , so do you have any idea or suggestion ? for exemple copy the scorpion venom build a little bit or try the nod that do poison penetration to us and all primal serpent , really thanks you for the help u can give to me
is the dps calculator for skills remotely accurate?
yes and no.
if the number get higher, than yes, it's more dmg.
but there are a lot of things for certain skills that's not included in the DPS calc. so the DPS number on the tooltip wouldn't chance even if your dmg increases.
so the problems is if you swap a piece of gear with something that's not included for something that's included.
And as for the actual DPS number, it's not comperable between skills
i have flame reave at something like 160k dps (with enchant weapon on), but on the practice dummies its substantially less (40kish on crit), but more in the 10k on crit for non bosses
quite a spread
yeah, you can only use that number to see if a gear change is making it bigger or lower. (as long as all the stats are calculated)
you can't translate it into actual dmg numbers in the game
so, target dummies have 0% dmg reduction, while actual mobs have that scaling with area lvl. and I think bosses have aditional scaling.
so if you want to compare 2 skills or 2 setups, always do it on the same target dummy.
oh fair point. i suspected as much. im still working on the build but im closing in on full murder everything. I will keep this in mind.
Also keep in mind that the 'dps' number takes into account crit and dot dmgs
And attack speed
how does it account for stacking damage?
i could have 20 or 50 ignite for instance which is different damage
So like if you have enough speed to lets say hit 4 times a second (with the return reave)..40kx4 is fairly accurate
Idk the exact formula is uses for dots and such
Ik it skews the dps.shown a bit tho
gotcha. i havent put the return reave in yet. thank you.
bossing is really the only hold up im having right now.
Anyone having performance issue with Windows? Like suddenly the games slow down a lot for 2-3 seconds
? :3
The arena boots
or added void damage movespeed boots
I can't remember for sure but I'm pretty sure vaion's chariot works with wp
You'll be faster with darkstrides though
Thank you friend
The 1% increase to damage per 1% movement speed boots (Vaion's). How are these not being used more? Is it personal damage that does nothing for for minion builds? Global damage? Surely insane late game as you get shattered worlds relic etc? Im at 140% MS on Bearmaster for example. Thoughts?
in general if it doesn't specify minions it doesn't apply to minions in any way
You get 1 boosted tick of WP every 3 sec
- Its just for you
- Even for you its not that amazing, when you already 1000-1500 Inc Dmg
Really? That's interesting that it works that way
140% increased damage is like a 10% actual damage increase for most builds. It's not that crazy
Fair enough but if im at 1000% increased damage and get 100% increased damage i would be at 2000% increased damage, atleast my mind wants it so bad lol
Yeah, I think Mike said its because its a channeled moving skill . Nothing Snapshot there
No you'd be at 1100%
It's additive
Thats not how Increased Dmg works
Interesting since a lot of channel skills do snapshot still
Yes
But I know warpath is a bit special
Also Warpath scale with AS
Ye
Where other channeled dont
channel my inner Mike
Well technically they do, but not the way you want them
bruh
I can believe that it's the first hit. But I wanna test it myself
but at the same time I don't wanna do arena
o yea true
Yeah I don't have one either lul
That shows how popular arena is 😂
yep lmao
I am relativly new to LE and played 50h without knowing the game so i found out how to price check my items. Is that an accurate pricing?
can you unlink a stash tab after duplicating it?
so that you can change just 1 think on it instead of having to setup up everything from scratch?
seems about right
Hey everyone, I'm playing sentinel, if I create a legendary relic with the mana affix from this mage relic, will the mage class requirement carry over to the legendary or will I be able to use the legendary with mana affix on the sentinel normally?
No, mana on relics is not a mage only affix
the mage class restriction would only carry over if the frost claw affix got moved over, since that's a mage only affix
As long as you don't transfer the frost claw affix, the relic's class requirements will not change.
Also, you won't be able to combine that exalt with a unique item that already requires sentinel.
yea pretty sure focus still worked this way
wp weird angle
Yeah I'll have to test wp to make sure it doesn't snapshot since Mike has given mixed answers
iirc each hit (well, swing I guess would be the better term?) is a separate skill proc, but haven't played around with it in a while
That would make sense with how wp behaves
hey guys...the cosmetics that I bought, can be use in offline mode too?
Yes, it should work in offline as well.
Yes, they work in offline now as well after the 1.3 update. But note that if you're playing in Full Offline mode, you'll need to log into regular offline or online once for the cosmetics to register and become available in Full Offline.
how does the exquisite blood node in flay interact with things like this as well as the necrotic conversion? if i take both does it become a necrotic explosion instead of a blood explosion? and will I still get the reduced reaper form cooldown from this node if its been converted to a spell?
Hey there. Via idols I have added +8 to fire damage, is the change to that reflected somewhere in the character sheet? Also I have reliquary nest, so does increased effect have any effect on a +damage mod?
Does an aura effect that applies ailments count as 'hitting'?
take it with a grain of salt. the auto price checker otten auto populates fields that aren't important to the item, so it limits the results too much. if you get one result only, your item is either extremely rare or the filters automatically applied are way too strict and you need to remove some of the ones that arent important, or lower the auto populated numbers by a notch or two. if you have a maxed out stat, then it puts that as the minimum (sometimes that is even incorrect, because of rounding). that in combination with all the other auto populated stats gives a result that isn't really correct in the context of what that item is worth. Also, if you see an item that was listed 29 days ago and hasn't sold, there's a reason why it hasn't sold in 29 days. it's either extremely overpriced or extremely rare. 1lp nihilis is not rare at all.
You would need soul ripper to convert it to necrotic explosions and it will replace the bleed/physical explosions. You won't get the melee dmg for macabre dance but you can still reduce the cooldown of reaper form
Awesome thank you, the cooldown was primarily what I cared about
No. Generally speaking, things hit when they deal non-DOT damage.
I'm running into an issue where the cosmetics I apply are not retained after the game is closed. I have toggled the Steam Cloud, verified files, even uninstalled and reinstalled and still not luck.
Any suggestions on how to fix?
If there was a stat line for it in the char sheet, it would show up there, but pretty sure it's not in the char sheet.
Yes, reliquary nest affects all stats on your non-unique idols; it multiplies whichever part of the stat has a roll range.
At what level do you think a non-LP Harmony of the First outlives its usefulness?
Depends on the build but for melee it could prob carry to empowered. Normal monos are pretty easy and most things can do them without much gear
does cast speed affect channel speed?
No
If what you mean by channel speed is how many ticks of damage per second you get
That is what I meant. Thanks. Does anything affect that?
nope
sometimes the skill will have nodes that do
but no stats do
There are channeled skills that specify a scaling, like warpath with attack speed for example
same with channelled flurry
think they're the only examples though afaik
does Seed of Ekkidrasil work with spriggen rage ?
idk level 50 or so? 100 flat is a lot, plus more if that is being boosted but 1LP is 1 in 4, even more common counting nemesis / COF. No reason not to use one with a T7
yes
Rage is mana
So i just would have to put the desired/important afixes in the filter along with the lp, right?
<@&1161418687471956101>
Guys, does this node make gathering storm scale from the cast speed? Or is this still a melee skill even after picking this node?
Yeah. Nihilis is kinda hard to price tbh. The implicits also need to be considered and there's no filters for that
For how much shuld i sell it? What would you spend?
I'm not at computer so I can't see prices sorry
why couldn't I choose one affix to slam?
Did you do Sanctum T1?
Choosing an affix is only available in T2 or higher
It makes it scale with cast speed if you have a staff equipped
I'm a newbie. Which should I choose, Merchant's Guild or Circle of Fortune?
MG > Buy your gear
CoF > Get more drops
hello, i have to much unique legendary and idole in my chest, can i have any tips to sort pls 🦆
How long is left of this season folks? do i have time for another new char?
Its been 2 months
Should last around 2more
Are you planning to use them ?
some yes, some no
Hey guys,
Technical question ahead:
I'm having severe performance issues with Last epoch in certain segments of the game. (95% runs smoothly). It's always depending on the area, where I'm at. My pc is pretty up to date, running a rtx 5070 and Ryzen 5600 CPU.
The areas where I encounter the problems (problem = FPS drops from 140 to 5-20)
- "The Keeper's Vault in the ancient era where you go to rescue the old guy. Some segments here cause severe FPS drops. Literally 1 step to another segment changes FPS from 140 to 20 or vice versa
- same happens in the majelka waystation.
- new chapter: Basically all the new areas after you ascend the chains to the sky temple. My average FPS was around 14 there. In the coast regions and the hive it was all fine at constant 140 FPS.
Anyone has an idea what could cause these issues? If I get said maps in the monolith of fate, same technical problems arise.
Before it was only affecting me in my campaign play through, but with addition of the new chapter and those new maps causing the same problems I decided to ask about that here.
Dev is going to know better, I would in game bug ticket in the areas you see issues in and then hope they make fixes in patches later
What's the echo that lets you respec the attribute affix on gear? I thought it was Rune prisons but this just replaces affixes with experimentals.
I know I've seen it before but completely forgot which echo it was
Oerden's watch
Thanks
Hey everyone — I keep getting one-shot by Uber's attacks despite trying to dodge or predict them, and it feels like the slightest mistake kills me. I know “skill issue” is part of it — but before I chalk it all up to that, do you see anything in my build or skills (link below) that’s making me too squishy / preventing me from killing Uber?
🔗 Character link: https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/Ljarnill/character/SniffiesGuyOpenDoor
Any pointers (gear, defensive mechanics, resistances, skill selection, passives, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.
One issue is that your Reduced Damage Taken from Crits is 34%.
Otherwise not really, you're tankier than pretty much any character I've ever played tbh
thank you @icy drift and @candid elm any recommendations how to include that in my build?
also the bastion of honor range is deceptively small, make sure you're staying close enough for your block to be up
good point
Your 3x1 idols can have it as an enchant
Up to 10% per is an additional up to 40% if you get it on all 4
but it can take a while for sure
you can always just swap your gloves for a pair with the affix too
You can get it on any Armor slot: Helmet, Body Armor, Gloves, Boots, or Belt. And on Shield
https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/suffixes/AOwRgrEA
So try to squeeze a bit more in. You don't have to be at 100%, but a high value will help with Crits.
Can also get it on Idols as well https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/suffixes/ABwTgrEA
!?
