we don't have the numbers
I'd say majority of people play the season
but idk if it's 50/50 or 90/10
We leave a legacy (of nothing)
For those that come after
scary timeline. lol
So ill be playing the campaign all over again in S3 until I get to the chapter where I get access to the end of time? Or all 9 chapters again?
I mean you can always go do monolith's after end of time even if it's your first character but you won't have factions unlocked so it's ill advised
we are getting a new chapter in s3 so it'll prolly be nice to check that out. but yea normally first toon goes to factions unless you are purposely racing or somethin
you generally dont have keys until after for the dungeon skips
Meh even when we raced we went to factions first tbh
When i try to enter the game it states that my client is not up to date, but i can't find a place to upgrade it... how can i solve this problem? could anyone help me?
you don't get overleveled when you rush so hard so campaign is actually decent xp
force restart steam
there was a patch about 15 minutes ago...so grab that with a force restart or verify files
right click it on your task bar and click exit steam
Thanks a lot cyborg san and eagles san!
so... this happened, am i allowed to cry yet? lol as soon as the loot drops the server disconnects so they can update, EHG, what did i do to youuuuu
lol
To be fair they did tell us an hour in advance :P
but yeah that sucks rip
completely forgot lol
im not mad im just like nooooooo whyyyy
Is this bug known that I will be transported to the town instead of staying in dungeon after I clicked respawn on the death page? It'll consume me 1 key but do nothing.
It do be like that fr
sounds like a bug yea
@cedar locust
dear santa, please bring me the loots ive lost throughout my plays lol
damn its funny cuz its sad
yeah it's an old bug that existed before the respawn button, but because the respawn button takes a key it's more severe now so make sure to report it
👀 I'm curious because I don't see the latest patch mentioned that
They don't mention known bugs, they only mention bug fixes
is poison considered elemental damage?
oh
Whether it's known or not, doesn't matter. If you find something that seems like a bug, just report it in game by pressing F8
get used to play full offline... Ok wait a moment
Ah yeah, that does make it harder. If you play regular offline, you can do the in game report, I think.
Shurikens, but I'm not the best Bladedancer player in the Discord 😅
updated engine changed the font colour?
shurikens that give you the armor buff is huge for bd most of the time
No twist, it's bad. I have thought the pirate still attack me after received my golds
This will make it so LMB click will attack when there's something to attack, and move when there isn't? (or both if move when out of range is selected).
It’s really bad and sometimes hard to distinguish
Maybe a stupid question but the upgrade in engine, does it mean it would run better on steamdeck or will it run better in future?
It looks unpolished, damage taken number in red also looks unnatural
rough
it could...its mostly for better tools in the future. but it might have some unintended upgrades for current
This one will do that
Digital life, more real than real.
This alone did not do that... while set, LMB did not attack, it moved around the mobs.
This dagger for necromancer? But why necromancer need a dagger?
I went through the keybindings several times and could not find a key for passive skills. Am I blind or is this an oversight?
You mean Passive Tree ?
yes
P
to get back to it I had to level up again.
?
When I got another point, it had the icon to click. then closing passive, there's no way to open that I could find.
Press P
with it, a necromancer can cut throat and make sacrifice? thus Ghost Maker
Have you tried "P" ??
Anyone know if this is generic bleed on Hit ? or does Bleed on Bow hit works ?
The passive keybind is called 'passive grid' I thought that was something else 'grid' what in the world were they thinking.
So, LBM for both attack and move - not possible? The option to 'move to attack' is NOT the answer.
Click on the top foot print
Nice. Was looking for a pic or something. It's too obvious once you see it... but before it's ?? wth?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sueCvzsS-U&t=207s
oh this builds sounds very meme indeed lol
I want to know how this build performance on my laptop suddenly
It's like dynamic light pollution lol
Checked out the planner, I lacked idols with chance on hit to summon thorn totems only. Another stuff are fine
So last time I played and found a loot filter base online was 1.2.0.2, should i try and find an updated one, or should it still be good?
anything from 1.2.x will be fine
sweet
In Imperial Era -> Ruins of Etendell, there used to be a stone golem always right near the waypoint. I can't find it today, am I missing something or did it get removed
ah its divine era, I did screw that up
How long do seasons usually last? and were are we currently on that cycle
3-4 months
updated my question cause bad grammer lol
Yes
At least the faction stuff
Some weaver items were before
whelp, noticed too late that the build i'm working on is from 1.0
so need to find a more recent build
hello. i am using actionrpg mana guide sorcerorbuild. he has meteor with harbinger of stars on it and a weapon that converts its damage to lightning. problem is, with only a 7% chance to cast, it doesnt come to party often enough in my playthrough. I have 25% crit chance is it that or is there maybe another ability that could synergize well with this build or proc off focus/lightning blast?
What does 2lp mean? I see it constantly in chat
2 legendary potential. it means 2 affixes on an exalted item can be put on a unique item at the end of temporal sanctum dungeon
Does anyone know if the armor shred stat on Arek's bones stacks with your general armor shred? or if the 2 stats on the mace are entirely seperate
Salutations. I am sorry to bother but I am curious about critical Strike Multipler. I was looking at the in game guide and it doesn't really say how critical strike multiplier is calculated in this game. I did look up some video's and I did hear that 100% crit multi is equal to 100% more damage. I do not know if this information is accurate or not. I also don't know if it is accurate that 100% increased damage is also 100% more damage which is something else I heard about this game. If anyone has time to help, I would appreciate it.
100% increased dmg is not same as 100% more
more is a multiplier, increased is additive
Thank you Nub for taking the time out of your day to respond. It is good to know that %increases are additive because I wasn't going to see the point in crit and crit multi. Thank you for that. Do you know how the scaling of Crit Multiplers work by any chances?
Pretty easily, really. Your crit multi starts at 200%, meaning if you crit you take your total damage and double it. Now just convert whatever your total multi is into a decimal. 300%? 3x damage, or triple, whichever is easier to understand. 734%? 7.34x damage. etc etc
Don't have time to write much
Just got to work
So, 300% crit multi is triple damage. This is what I am getting from this. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write this I do appreciate it. Also, 1,000% increased would equal 10% more damage correct?
Increased damage is a bit harder to grasp in relation to how much more damage it will grant overall since it effectively has diminishing returns. If you have say 0% increased and 0% more (these are different stats), then putting the equal amount in either will be exactly the same. But if you have 500% increased and 100% more then putting in % more damage will give you a higher result than % increased damage. Basically you're trying to balance out the damage modifiers to some extent to keep them all giving you good amounts.
I was told that %increases didn't have diminishing returns. I apologize for starting such a deep topic. I have been wanting a chance to get to fight the Uber boss and was told that I would first need to be able to defeat corruption 2,000 while I am pretty stuck at 300 corruption. So I wanted to figure out how I can keep the dps to do the content and get the defenses after. It's been a long journy so far. Extremely confusing and difficult stuff but again I do appreciate you helping me.
It's a confusing situation, really. Getting another 100% increased is going to give you the same amount as the previous 100% increased, yes, but you'll be getting less total damage from just stacking increased as opposed to investing in multiple scaling vectors since a lot of other modifiers multiply the damage after the increased damage is applied.
As for beating Uberroth, it's... not in a great state of balance in my opinion, so while it is a goal to have it is not one that is easily reached; he has more health than some monolith bosses have at 25,000 corruption just for an idea of where it's at.
Yea, I may not understand this game but it wouldn't be the first time. Extremely difficult stuff to get into. I appreciate the help. I wanted to give it one last try before I parted ways for the season. As for the Uber fight you make it sound as if it's almost an impossible fight.
I will say that 2000 corruption for Uber Abberoth isn't really true. I was able to down him without getting to that corruption point.
Now, it is very true that not every build is going to be able to reasonably complete uber.
I'd say a char that can do uber, can likely do more then 2k corr
That I do understand. I am going to throw the idea of a Uber boss fight this season in the garbage where it belongs for now. I am going to do what I can and after I am comfortable doing everything I possiby can, than I am going to call it a season. Thank you for all the help.

Just testing things out
Just messed with passives and some skills
Is there anything overly horrible about going this route?
1st mistake: You don't have a weapon
😅 I think they're only asking about the Passive and Skill Tree's or I'd have called out the lack of Resistances
Joke aside, forget about Void Rifts in Erasing Strike
Vlad is the guy to talk to 😁
They are a Spell and you won't be dealing any significant amount of Spell Dmg
Also those are not good
Yeah haha Since I don't know the uniques, I just messed with skills and passives to tweak as I go. But the intent is to use a mace
Oh, I missed the spell tag
Care to explain, please? I'm still learning
Retribution is a Physical Melee Attack
Clearly you are going for Void. Having 2 element of dmg is not a good idea.
Also Retribution cost 10 passives pts for smth that doesn't have a skill tree and will offer very limited dmg/utility
You could get much better passives with thoses 10 pts
Like Time and Faith
Fearless is great because Vitality is hp and dmg if you are a VK
I am not a fan of Mail Crusher too
12% Inc Dmg per pt is nice but it's far away
I feel like there better passives in VK
For utility skill I can recommand Abyssal Echoes, Anomaly, Symbol of Hope
I know you only have 2 skills slots left 😁
I was looking for a hybrid of sorts with Void Knight as mastery but with some Forge Guard stuff
but the synergies I could find meant having Forge Guard as mastery and going down the the Iron Blades / Forged Weapons route
Well the beauty of Last Epoch is it's quite easy to try out things and respec them if they aren't working or working how you like 😊 You can respec entire Skills, Skill points, Passive points or even your Mastery for a price
what about Void Essences?
maybe I shouldn't spend thaaaaat much time theorycrafting before actually starting the game, right?
At some point you have to jump in
Theorycraft while playing! You'll have abetter understanding of mechanics and interactions that way 😊
hehehe I'll do it then!
You're still welcome to ask as many questions as you want in here! There's also #🔱┃sentinel 😁
Thank you!
Oh, one more thing
For a Crit-focused build, is it better to invest in Merciful or Ruthless?
You'll need to provide a little more information as to what those are
Ah es
Merciful is generally better
Even if you go for the no cooldown node, ruthlessness just ends up not being as good as you might think usually
thanks for the insight
Block chance only occurs with a shield?
and Parry is inherent to weapons?
Generally yes but not exclusive
You can have block without a shield and you can have parry without a weapon technically
But they are the main source of the respective stats
If I remember correctly in a dev stream Mike once mentioned a kind of sweetspots for the corruption curve which going beyond did not do you much good in terms of drops, but I for the lfie of me can not remember what the value was, if anyone remembers it would be very much appreciated.
This may help you hopefully
https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/monolith-scaling
Yes this helped very much indeed, thanks a heap.
Probably he was speaking about the 300 and 1000 breakpoints for XP (favor) scaling
Yeah 1k was also where I tended to hover around if my build could handle, but I wanted to make sure I am on the right track.
Which this graph very much confirms going past does not really gain anything all too meaningful anymore in terms of loot.
The LP scaling curve also tanks after 1000, that's where I'd generally recommend people stay even if their build can go higher. But of course if your build won't slow down at all from going higher then you should
My reasoning is that if you go a good bit higher you tend to have to overinvest, so I much rather invest less in defenses and a bit more damage for smoother clearing and bossing.
Here's the LP scaling with corruption to visualize it easier, the X axis is corruption, what each line means doesn't matter much (it's the odds of getting each lp), what matters is how fast they go up and down per corruption, and you can see they flatten out quite a bit even after just like 500
the blue one is generally the easiest to look at (it's the chance to get 0 lp)
It's also good to remember that more rarity = more uniques, so this graph doesn't do it total justice
I assume this is without any odds changing things like CoF factored in?
This example is yes but I can factor all that in
Even with CoF it's pretty much the same story
the game will help me to reach lv 60 automatically when I reach here?
You get some exp, if you did the timeline quests with a different char that shares a stash, yes.
But it is just a fix amount, not a guaranteed level.
I'm lv 54 after slain Majasa, then become lv 59 after enter monolith area, then reach lv 60 after I stand on fall of the outcast
Is it though? The LP prophecies should alter the curve no? Given from how I understand it it just skips the first LP roll, which drastically should change the odds no?
Not 100% understand but I'm not sure why I'm done 2 quests and got so much xp.
🤔 I never have treat like that
I try it with different words:
If one of your chars has done the monolith quests, a different char that shares the stash, will get XP when travelling to the monolith.
Most likely 2 of the 10 waypoints will trigger some XP for you, at least that is how it worked for me and my friend the last times.
New auto-level-up service?!
It's new with S2
No, those just make the 0 LP curve also result in 1 LP. They don't affect chances of 2+ LP.
🤔 as the patch note mentioned, I need to complete 2 lv 90 monoliths to unlock empowered timeline? let's see
It's a result of that combined with substantially increased xp from the monolith quests, all are in patch notes somewhere
one
The first level 90 will spawn a harbinger
Technically speaking, those quests are better if you accept them at higher level since they are capped at max 100% of a level per quest or something like that
The 1LP no but the 2 LP and above curve would look drastically different though because you have one less roll that can potentially fail.
Nope
It still has to pass that roll to have a chance at 2 LP or higher
how much health as equal as low health? @cedar locust do you know that?
I mean then explain to me why not I like to understand. The LP rolles does one roll that can succed or fail in succession. So not having to ever do the first roll by defintion means that the second roll is more likely to happen because the no LP fails are no longer present.
I am not talking about the individual roll but the ODDs of it happening.
Maybe I am not properly explaining what I am trying to say because I am not a native speaker.
It still does the first roll, all the prophecy does is give 1 LP if it failed the first roll instead of 0 LP
That is not what Mike said? He said it literally skips the roll. That is what FrozenSentinel said and I trust his word there given he is very rigorous in all kind of math he does for LE.
It does not bypass the first roll
It basically just says if it rolls 0 lp it becomes 1 lp instead
so you add the 0 lp chance to the 1lp chance
I mean even then it would still mean beceause you can not fail the roll the odds are different, because again the fail rolls for even 1LP are gone?
2 3 and 4 lp are left unaffected
I mean yeah their own rolls are I understand that
again I am speaking of the cumulative odds here, I am sincerely thinking I lack the vocabulary are lacking here to express what I mean.
I am aware that the odds for the individual roll are not affected that would not make any sense.
If an item has 10% chance of getting 2 lp without the 1 lp minimum it'll have a 10% chance of getting 2 lp with the 1 lp minimum
Yes I am not saying anything otherwise. My point was. If normally it had say for example a 10% chance to not even get any LP on it, and that chance is gone your actual effective chance to get a 2LP is higher because the odds of that happening is now axed from the pool.
Which cumulatively means yo have a higher odd of getting a 2LP
Mike got it mixed up, there's no effect that bypasses the first LP roll. Closest thing is the double LP chance which doubles success rate of the first roll.
This doesn’t apply retroactively to existing characters, so you will need to complete them once more for Legacy characters.
what is it mean?
If you have a dice roll of 1 to 100 and you cut out the lowest 20 your individual odds to roll a given value are higher. Now think of LP as a 5 sided dice with 0 to 4, it does not make any intuitive sense to me why that would not affect it.
If the total odds of getting LP on an item are:
0 lp : 36%
1 lp : 39.68%
2 lp : 19.7%
3 lp : 4.25%
4 lp : 0.37%
and you then use the 1 lp prophecy, the item's odds will now be:
0 lp : 0%
1 lp : 36 + 39.68%
2 lp : 19.7%
3 lp : 4.25%
4 lp : 0.37%
It works only for new chars
I'm playing legacy characters indeed, I created a new character in legacy, this is bladedancer
This is not what it does
This does not make sense to me, each failed 0 LP would not be a chance to even roll for 2 LP, so that the odds stay the same makes no sense
I am really trying to understand
I think this is where the hang up is, if the item rolls 0 lp, it becomes 1 lp but it will NOT keep trying for higher lp, it won't roll for 2lp
Again I get that for each individual roll
it just goes to 1 and is spat out
I am speaking of CUMULATIVE
no
even for the cumulative
because the affected items don't ever attempt going higher than 1lp
they just drop as 1lp
I guess you are overthinking once again 🙂
Yeah, you made a new char, those get some XP now when first arriving at the monolith. Be happy and move on 😄
eehm what?
you're thinking that if an item fails the first check, it just pretends it succeeded, this is not what happens
it just drops at 1lp
that's it
Ah okay that explains it then
That was the piece of context I was missing thanks for explaining that.
yep
this is also why corruption still affects items dropped by the prophecies
if they skipped the first roll corruption would have no effect
since the corruption scaling is on the first roll
Huh I thought corruption scaling was on a per roll basis for all the rolls not just the first, TIL moment
But yeah, thanks for your patience.
yeah nope, because like you said if one roll has a higher chance of succeeding so will the subsequent rolls, corruption only scales the first roll and the odds kinda trickle down to the latter rolls
al...alright
Now you know why people think the 1lp prophecies suck :P
they cost so much more that they're usually worse even for getting a 1 lp of the item you want
since for the cost it'd take to drop 1 of the item you want, you can usually drop enough of them to get at least one with 1lp from the normal prophecies
and for anything higher than 1 lp they're a straight scam
What's the difference between using a waypoint and opening a portal?
Nothing really
and starting from which rarity color is it worth getting items to dismantle them?
since I shouldn't be grabbing them to sell to NPCs
item color means nothing for shards. its the tier of the affix that matters
and how can I know that?
depending on your settings holding alt or ctrl + alt will show details regarding rolls and tiers for affixes on an item
okay, so I'll need to learn to look at the affixes and suffixes and determine if they're worth salvaging
correct
could you direct me to a guide regarding that matter?
Not sure there's really a guide for it. If you have a build in mind there'll be stats you'll want for said build, if an item has those stats at a reasonable tier (weighing in how many runes of shattering you have) then you'll want to shatter it, that's all there is to it really. Shattering isn't anything you really have to worry about honestly, just pick up items with useful stats and if they're not useful to equip just shatter them
eventually you'll have so many shards that you've picked up off the ground that you'll stop shattering entirely
there's no need to try and optimise it basically
We don't think - we know
Also note that for really valuable affixes (rare ones you don't have lots of but need for your build) you'll want to use runes of removal and not shattering, since when you shatter it gives you a random amount of each affix on an item while a removal refunds the full amount of the affix it removes, though beware not to do it too much since removals are a lot more limited than shattering. you can view affix rarity on this page, the higher the "reroll chance" the rarer the affix
So basically shattering and affixing is something I should worry about in the endgame after acts?
It's something you wanna do when you first start crafting , which can be as early as level 1 pretty much. But if you're not crafting then just pick up items and throw them in your stash and worry about it later
When you try to craft something but don't have the shards check your stash for an item with the affix and shatter it
And now you can craft
And eventually you'll just stop shattering altogether because you'll have so much of every shard (except for some really rare ones you'll want to removal)
I just highlight T4+ rare affixes in my filter to shatter/remove at season start and increase it to T5 fairly quickly, works well enough for me. Maybe super highlight a shard I'm out of and need for crafting.
as I run through the campaign, I'll try to keep notice of stuff that might be useful and save them to when I start crafting
I just unlocked my second skill specialization but it's not any of those that I planned for. Is it worth specializing in something until I unlock the next skill I planned for my build?
Never imagine realistic water effect will drop in ritual lake. Well done! This map looks better and better with version updates.
I explored the whole map as the appreciation I gave for their work :)
It makes no difference, may as well spec something
but to respec skills you lose a few levels and need to gain experience again, right?
differently from passives, which you respec entirely only spending money
The Skill level lowers, not your character level. The Skill will level up again as you play. You'll also get an increasing minimum Skill level. Around character level 75-ish you'll have a minimum Skill level of 10 with max level 20 Skills. You can go higher than 20 with +Skill items.
You don't always get a double t7. They're simply more common with imprints. Your filter catches only the imprint procs you've set to appear. You get everything from your imprints, even yellow items you just don't see them
Well I'd say that is quite normal, if you don't imprint this since weeks already. Most of the imprints I get from a triple will be doubles, but very rarely it drops as a triple.
The more rare your exalted, the less likely that you get an exact copy.
And otherwise round, if you imprint a single T7 you will see even more hits on the imprint.
Yes, Skills are free to respec and you can do it anywhere at any time. The Skills will need to be re-leveled some. In the end game it's very quick to do, re-maxing Skills in 1-2 echoes. Passives points can be resoecced in towns with the Brain icon NPC for gold. Mastery respec can be done in End of Time town for gold and the listed cost includes the Mastery change and a complete passive respec.
Just the skill restarts from its current minimum level, but swapping from one to another is the same as just putting a fresh new skill there
Thank you all for clarifcation!
Then the lost skill levels on skill respec are no big deal to level up again
As for crafting, since I'm stil in acts/leveling, what's the minimum tier of affixes you recommend I start caring to collect?
It's good to keep in mind that when you combine uniques and exalted in a slam you get one guaranteed affix.
It's good to get your T7 affix on that slot
Sometimes having one really important affix is the thing to aim for, and then gradually work up from there
As you get higher lp, better tiers
yeah, for some reason I'm feeling a bit lost
like, in PoE, even though the game is more complex and I'm very newbie-ish at it, the crafting (even with dozens of moving parts), seems a bit more straightforward
I may be wrong, of course
but it's just that I'm unsure what I'm supposed to look for
So, if you have a build, you can often consider what you should get based off the tags on the skill
If you have a major core damage skill, something like warpath or erasing strike, if you know there's a lot of void damage scaling. You may just want to craft those affixes as a starter.
yeah, I'm basically saving items on stash that have Void and Critical, because that's what I based the basics of my build around
I haven't shattered or removed them yet though
For sure, that's the idea. Maybe you get big procs from crit, so we'll want our crit chance to be at a certain level.
There is sort of a hierarchy when it comes to what builds want, but even if you land somewhere in the middle of the hierarchy your build can still do a lot of things competently.
what is the normal level to start with the 100 corruption monoliths?
Anywhere from 70 to 90
I'm usually around 75-80-ish on the first character of a new Season when I get into Empowered. Alts could be lower
Yeah, it's also really whatever you're comfortable with. Going into Empowered is recommended as the Corruption gives you increased experience and item rarity. But if you find yourself struggling and need some extra time, that's fine. Have fun playing
How to decide this problem, should I use double daggers or double swords? These choices are for bladedancer. I'm not sure which direction of aliments should i go too, bleed? Poison? Physical only?
oh I don't figure out why I need creating shadows too. Emmmmmm I can live well without shadows so far
This passive node inspired me to ask for help. Choices are overwhelming...
What is your build?
I think my status can't be called a build yet...I even don't replace all rare items with exalted items...

I'm an enjoyer of Odachi mirage
Er, black blade of chaos
Has to be one of my favorite uniques because it fundamentally changes how a skill feels
Considering you're still leveling, it probably doesn't really matter all that much. Pick whatever you like to use right now. The Two-Handed Sword that Gibbles is mentioning is an end game weapon and I don't think that build takes the Passive you pictured.
Nah, it wouldn't. Fulgurite is kind of cool for that passive though imo, I usually like playing either fulgurite or black blade
I like the look of smoke weaver
I have a tendency to take a unique and work backwards to build
I will say champion enemies are much more worse than Dread have talked about... Rare items they dropped only so far, even they dropped exalted items, these affixes make no sense too because my mastery don't need them at all. I can get tier 4 champion affix at max...
As confusing as imprint system.
Maybe the biggest sense is give me more xp?
Some of the champion affixes are quite strong but yeah they are fairly niche usually
why am i only getting 1% movement speed with this o.o
when channeling warpath, there is a natural negative MS as well
that node basicly evens it out
oh damn didnt use warpath in so long i completley forgot that lol thx
think it says the negative MS on the alt text of skill i think.
it does it says 20% less and this node gives 30
which still kinda doesnt make sense? or is the scaling different
why would they do that wtf, doesnt that mean warpath movement penalty hits harder the more speed you have?
Basically
(1+0.3+other increases to ms) * 0.8
In a way I guess but that's a weird way to think about it imo
increased will still eventually outpace it but yeah
more of a "feeling" sense I mean. with enough MS you can still be a beyblade
Ah yea
Yeah you can be very zoomy, especially if you go void
Vs having to stand still and cast a skill you'll end up as fast if not faster than other skills tbh
I've never fully agreed with the penalty given the absurdity of other things in the game (there's traversal skills that instantly move you a screen away for example)
but I guess it still prevents you from having huge clear speed with little gear
it just feels wrong tbh, 3 skill points to negate this penalty is a lot, im probably just using it for lvling at list for this char but damn...
also its kinda werid, if you only use warpath as a tool for smite proccs you can probably spare the points easily but if warpath IS your main skill you get punished by it which also feels weird?
This is like saying a skill having a cast time is punishing you and an attack speed node in said skill is weird because it's making up for a downside
It doesn't track for me
Instead of a cast time you move slower, that's it
i mean my judgement aura pala doesnt get a movement penaltly... so why does this? auto bomber void knight also dpesmt get one, minion builds also dont get slowed by their minions
Your judgement aura paladin has to cast judgement
Devouring orbs needs point investment to auto cast
And even then it's subpar vs manually casting
DPS wise that is
Theres always a tradeoff
Not having to cast anything and channeling are very big upsides in this game
So you have to pay for them somehow
Otherwise the skill is just insane
Would you rather pay with lower DPS? I wouldn't
i get what you are saying and fair points, its hard to 1 to 1 compare skills like that but it still feels kinda weird to me :x i guess if i give warpath as a build a shot sometime i might change my mind
I promise you can make warpath one of the fastest clearing skills in the game, especially if you go void
Faster than something like erasing strike for sure, because the move speed penalty is way less impactful than having to cast es
Also these exist
few more lvls on snail mode
anyone ever had that bug? it keeps gettinger higher when i kill a nemesis
Make sure to make a bug report that's a white whale bug pog
Please use F8 key to submit an in game bug report
@spare pewter white whale spotting (sorry for the ping got excited
)
Interesting that not everything is sky high
i dont know what you mean with white whale tho xd
try running warpath while that movement speed lasts
It's a really old bug they've been hunting for a very long time
It's because of sigils
But reproducing it is seemingly really hard
i see
I guess their fixes are kinda working because only your movement speed is affected
If you go through all the character sheet tabs is anything else super high?
ah its so fun to run to the exit of the cemetery in 10 sec tho 😄
I reported the bug and will relog now ^^
Oh the move speed actually works? lol that's new, I guess it's not giving nearly as much as it used to
in the past the bug would overflow most of your stats, making you unkillable but also unable to deal damage because everything was in negative values lul
lol
yeah i run too fast it went up everytime when i killed elite or higher it seemed
but maybe it was the sigil thing couldnt tell
interesting lol
im new to voidknight and erasing strike is mentioning void rifts... which dont appear even if i kill dozens of enemies? am i missing something
you don't really see them
it's just an aoe hit
the ES FX usually cover them up
alright ty, tought something was wrong with with my eyes lol
Its the only one that says bleed...but nagasa scimitar is for all dot...so it would work too.
Anything is useable with the right affixes and build
I feel that bleed sucks can't really make it work without billion hits
and most of the skills don't really fit
I can reach at most 550-650 stacks
and it takes like full mana bar, build doesn't have any good uniques
just dumped everything in skill levels just to reach out for good points
using net + puncture on blade dancer
with sync strike to trigger crimson shroud consistantly and get first pump of bleed stacks
should just start over and redo everything
throwing bunch of nets is cool cause you can slow and cc enemies, but teleporting ones don't care and they just get away from nets, targeting on traps is God awful on gamepad
should just stricty use skills that can utilize bunch of hits for DoT like Hail of Arrows
shurikens are too slow compared to caltrops + puncture traps to stack bleed
I don't even know why would you even try to use them, I guess clear is remotely better cause of pierce but solo target will be ass if all fan of shurikens is not used point blank
I could roll my face on keyboard and obliterate everything on Sentinel with 0 fights back using 0lp uniques but blade dancer compared to this feels like I crack my nuts with a hammer trying to force bleed to work without specific setup, bunch of uniqes and it's still gonna be just supplement damage for core skill that HAS to go crit, otherwise you won't deal dmg at all
Fairly accurate tbh
I just hope they revert nerf for bleed duration from 5 to 4 seconds, damage that endgame characters have to do to push corruption now is too high and damage over time just can't even compete with some sublcasses that specialize on them
chthonic fissure is good build but somehow any other DoT build I've tried is bad
and fissure doesn't even need to get constant casts in to maintain stacks
on the other hand I sink my entire mana bar on skill that costs 8 mana
with over 22 mana regen
and it's with both -4 mana costs ring for throwing attacks
Didn't they up the base damage of it to compensate the duration?
There are also TONS of good dot builds
stacks fall off very fast and you need at least 2 uniques to keep up over 100% inc duration and you're dumping endgame unique slot that you could use for Shattered Worlds just to sit with Valdyr's chalice
I am afraid they're using "Uberroth killer" as stand-in for "good"
I bet there are tons of good dot builds, why I can't have good bleed blade dancer build, half of the passive tree is filled with bleed and poison passives
You can?
The problem i think is BD overall (and its skills). Not bleed/dot itself.
I just want to find skill combo that wouldn't feel clunky to play around when you're trying to push monos
So far couldn't come up with good bleed combo
I mean, you know my take on the state of the game already. The insane amounts of powercreep in very little time has completely warped the perception of what is good and what isn't, and is exacerbated by a lot of content creators and/or sites that push very little that isn't hard meta.
Like.... all of them that aren't Dr3adful
Or Aaron, but his skill level is... dubious.
I've not watched anything besides Raxx'es guide on tabs and loot filter to sort things out
So I log onto discord and see that I have a direct reply to me. So I click on the server and then ask the community only to be thrown into the mix of 50+ messages never knowing what someone said to me or who. I dont like that. I think that if someone replied to you then when you click on the server it should bring you directly to that reply. So I got nothing nor do I know what somebody replied to me. I'm going to order a pizza and have a beer.
Game very streamlined for experiments and it doeasn't take much time to try for yourself build concept just by playing
Go find the little notification/inbox button on your client
I agree to a point. I think the mass perception is definately not what the reality is. The overall balance is getting better and the spread is getting smaller. I would like to see the old/out of date skills and classes brought up faster than currently being done tho.
I definitely don't agree that the spread is getting better, we literally have top end builds doing 10x more damage than the next highest equivalent for a fraction of the investment
The bottom is a lot closer to doing all content
if you ignore uber abberoth the diversity of builds actually able to do like endgame content (like I call 1k+c and abberoth endgame currently personally) has risen significantly
even with all of the power creep on the enemie's side, mainly because they keep giving us broken ways of getting items and such
it has been easier than ever to get a floor of gear going
its just people don't explore, they follow
I'm an extreme outlier as a whole due to my personal belief that uncapped corruption shouldn't exist, so people don't really tend to agree with me
like today all it took was one person to mention to me that Burning Daggers might be viable because of the new idols, and it didn't take long to get a working prototype going
and bam immediately a good enough build
I think uncapped corruption is fine if reward scaling stopped at 1k
then you can push for fun
its fun to keep playing the same build and upgrading it over the period of time but its not fun when it becomes the norm to push past 1k religiously
at this point all of the failing points of build diversity fall plainly on skill trees being wack
like if a build is bad, odds are its the skill tree being pepega somewhere
we have the gear investment to make things work now, now we are just waiting for skills to get properly normalized into the ecosystem
Idk if we will ever see top end builds in any arpg not pop off on some level. There are just way too many variables for any amount of testers...there is always some untested combo that gets thru, even in poe and such. As long as the bottom end stays up the power curves and can do most if not all content, i think balance is good enough.
And again, I do wish the older passive and skill trees got refreshed faster. BD been waiting for like 2 years
I mean a lot of it are numbers based
Never going to get rid of herd mentality and gotta play the popular build
like flurry's tree is fine
but its damage effectiveness needs to go up
LE has a lot of cool and interesting skill trees that are bogged down by terrible damage effectiveness's
or lack of ailment scaling, usually the aformentioned damage effectiveness not working with ailments
Ya, just wish itd come around quicker, is all.
like a good example, volatile reversal has an interesting tree but its a 4 second CD base ability with 200% added damage effectiveness that you can use twice every 4 seconds without investment
if it was an 800% damage effectiveness skill
maybe it could be usable?
like theres always a number where these things start working
dancing strikes another good example
at 200-300% added damage effectiveness, and some scaling for ailments on its tree, all of a sudden its not a meme or only used to fuel shadow generation
if something has enough damage, you can start clicking on the fun an interesting nodes
like theres a node in Flurry that gives you a lot of health on crit based on your dex
that would be an amazing node if all of my skill points didn't need to be dedicated towards damage every single time
why not dmg inc
that would make sense to invest in dex and get over poor dmg of skill
that's the issue
some of the nodes are just nieche utility that doesn't find it's place cause other options are strictly better
for the most part build enabling uniques can carry out entire build on their own cause they just have good stats
and it doesn't matter really how bad lethal mirage on it's own when you can stack ligtning pen through the roof and get bunch of flat damage
with no cooldown
most uniques that rogue gets either completely boost skill through the roof or don't do anything
they're both good, but having crit on only 3rd hit
when you have 13% flat crit from a single offhand dagger
why
and then you look at non-build specific unique like this
and stats are better than specific ones
with 0 wither mods
cause flat damage is 57 instead of 22
and the choice is not that big so what would you prefer to take, sword with random flexible stats that could fit your build anyways or build specific sword that is stricly worse
and then you look at black blade, also build specific unique
how is it even close to something else, just as a stat stick it beats average choice
but that's the only melee weapon from harbingers that rogue has for build specific purposes
can sentinel use every weapon from harbingers and benefit from void conversion on almost every skill? yes
can other classes use those weapons as a stat stick for build? yes sure, it won't be optimal, like you can stack dex on mage and try to just utilize pen and shock from blade but you won't use any other affixes on weapon and only choise is to customize your own suboptimal unique
none of the general pool uniques really can push those numbers, I get it, pinnacle bosses should drop better loot but how so many classes are left out without void conversion to use it
cool uniques are all left for someone who can use void damage from tree
I don't even want to bring up world splitter fixing clear with aoe, mana sustain, crit, crit multi, flat damage
Is DLSS coming at any point? I have a 3080 with relative cpu and ram. I want to run it at 120 fps, but my temps hit around 81 to 84.
I think it's being worked on, but no ETA
Hey I've seen chat in game before around shred armor reaching a point of diminishing returns - is that true, is there a max % you want to hit / stop at / not go past / thou shall not pass?
What do these numbers represent?
Mana here is almost lowest stat, and Armor Shred is almost highest.
amount of shards you have in your stash
https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/armor
Click on the Shred tab
But tldr 100 stacks ish, after that it's really not as good

I mean, you posted stuff without context 🤷♂️
@novel lotus did you know any female youtubers who streamed le or make le-relevant videos?
Maybe the nickname is as similar as Caille but I can't remember that truly
She speaks English fluently, not from Asia, live on NA time
#💬┃general message From this message
https://www.youtube.com/@Iva_m1 the ytb channels I watch probably only have this one with a female name, but I'm not sure because they only post LE and PoE builds and reply to text comments
oh. Not her.
Oh. Find her. https://www.twitch.tv/allliee_
Allliee, includes llie

Allie, double verification.
oh, she is creating poe 2 contents recently
lol I find Muffin in her server
Muffin is everywhere
I only watch Twitch with the LE tag on my phone while farming, and I don’t follow any specific person 😅
Judd is everywhere too but limited on ARPG official servers
how's the controller support in this game?
Just bought this game started a rogue character, planning to do bladedancer mastery
its good enough to play. there are still some minor annoyances to address but its quite playable
mostly just some skills are hard to target just cuz of controller...hard to get around that
Oh bladedancer fellow 👋
Issues of controller support doesn't relevant to special masteries, you're fine
yep I love nightblade in grim dawn
Nothing I like the most in a ARPG on characters
Still under explore-everything status
Thanks just saw this now! yeah roughly getting 130ish atm on dummys takes a bit, thought having 600ish with 200% effect might be higher but might change weapons later if i can find this damn axe in 2/3 lp, ever lol
130 stacks is roughly 80% More Phys Dmg and 50% More non phys dmg
Getting 600 stacks with 200%effect is reaching the cap of 85% More Phys Dmg
It's really not worth getting that much
It's going to requires an insane investment for very little extra result
I was playing belgothians before I went on hiatus
Can Reactive Ward combine with Aurora's timeglass effect?
lets say a hit leaves you to 30% HP, reactive ward enters, now it is 30% HP and Ward, will it proc Aurora's ? or does it have to be HP only?

Aurora's Time Glass procs when your Health goes below 30%. It's not looking at your Ward.
I'm still leveling my nightblade. I was doing a forcewave witchblade build and got to ultimate but was bored out of my mind
found a pretty interesting dervish build, hoping to get there eventually
I ended up picking marksman mastery, bows are actually a lot of fun in this game
do the shades of orobyss from abysal trap node on weaver tree give corruption too
No. But you do get Shade drops.
are the servers down currently? Mine are showing a blue icon next to them
shouldnt be
if you have trouble getting in, give steam a quick force shutdown and restart, generally helps
Anyone have a list of prefixes on large idols for Sentinel? I can't find anything so I dont know what I'm looking for
you can go into a build planner and make an idol, it'll have the sentinel affixes that go on it
Got a link to a planner?
Thanks
The Tunk Labs site also has filters you can use to narrow it down, here's Large Idols and Sentinel https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/affixes?r=idol&c=8&t=30
finally not a noob 💯
there's people with 2k plus so I still feel like a baby
I suppose it's all relative lol
I dunno, I have over 2k in PoE and still feel like a noob
Understandable
I feel in the scope of all the different kinds of masteries/classes there's a lot I'm unfamiliar with
There's a lot of options!
oh wow, then I need to think how to spec dancing strikes, shift and smoke bomb carefully...
I love how SD has uniform icon throughout all skills
we still need new icons eventually
those need a makeover
so many icon overlaps in game currently
sentinel has a lot too iirc
They have added new icons here and there, done a few batches
For SD it makes sense, that is its debuff icon after all. But sharing the shadow cascade icon is not ideal
What's the min level needed to be taken to the observatory or bazaar?
- You can get a port at anytime from anyone
Or if its an alt...you just play 3 minutes and get to the first town and boom...you have the waypoint
so i presume that means you have to have gotten there on a prior character, correct?
Yes, one that shares a stash with your new char
Technically speaking, your faction is stored in the stash... it's bigger on the inside
yeah, i have yet to successfully make it to there on a HC character
XD keep dying shortly into Maljeek (think that's the right spelling
It does get quite dangerous in act 9, for sure!
Oh, that's the ruins of what used to be Maj'elka, basically, in act 6
The enemies there can do big physical or necrotic hits
when do you normally unlock the bazaar and observatory?
Oh yeah, that too
Near the start of act 9, after Lagon - which if you aren't used to him from playing SC might be a rough deal learning on HC
ah, yeah, i think i've only got one character on SC past him and to the observatory, shortly after i started trying to get progress on HC
Some experience goes a long way then, he's a really mechanical fight
Lagon is the kraken dude, right?
Exactly, yeah
yeah, i recall dying a few times on my SC character
also, should i use a leveling guide for HC and then switch to a build, or should i just kind of aim for the build as i go?
I think that's up to personal preference, a leveling guide might get you there easier, but for me just playing the build I want to play is more fun
fair, and that's what i've been doing with all of my characters so far XD
speaking of characters, would it be possible to get a piggyback to the observatory for my HC character?
I could probably help you in about 2.5 weeks, if you still need it 😅
I forgot is there a method to reroll unique affix mods rn? Like destroy 3 uniques, make 1 unique? I see a lot of uniques in merchant guild that I want but the rolls are terrible.
Gauntlet of Strife woven echo - can sacrifice 1 unique to reroll another of the same type
https://www.lastepochtools.com/db/items/IIzAMHZQrSA
Gauntlet of strife woven echo lets you sacrifice a copy of the unique you want to reroll, needs to be equal or greater "potential tier"
Bo's anarchy that says shurikens can ricochet, that does not apply to chakrams correct? 🙂
It does not
Are they intending to add a campaign skipping at any point. Sort of want to unlock idols on secondary characters, but debating playing without them to save the time.
Devs arent intetested in a 100% campaign skip. They are adding more ways to skip parts of the 2 hr campaign on alts...passives and idols from dungeons skips, more skips in the future.
I don't mind doing the campaign..but repeatedly doing it for alts suck at times.
Uncapped res is important for res shred and poison stacks right?
It protects against various resist reductions like that, but generally it's not important. Main reason to overcap is for effects that scale off your uncapped or overcapped resists like null portent.
i must be doing something wrong, definitely takes me longer than 2 hours to do the campaign
If you do the campaign straight all the way through without doing any of the skips, it will take significantly longer than 2 hours. 2 hours sounds pretty optimized, I'd say maybe 4-6 hours sounds more typical for alts? Never actually timed it myself though lol.
I don't think I've had a character actually live long enough to get the keys for the skips
Oh yeah, and you're playing HC where you'd probably want to be more careful
If I use damage conversions, like orian's eye, that means the subsequent converted damage isn't influenced by it's former shred damage type right? Like for orian's eye: void res shred doesn't influence the converted void damage.
Or more specifically if I use orian's eye. Aberroth's time rot doesn't effect "void damage" anymore since void damage is fire damage now.
@toxic echo do you know if the flip a coin node (throw extra shurikens) works with chakrams? (also fan of blades)
Correct, if you convert all void damage taken to fire damage, it's defended against as if it is just pure fire damage
(Although, unlike regular fire damage, it just can't get converted again by "fire damage taken as" effects)
They both scale Keen Throw, the node behind Chakram, they don't let you throw more chakrams though
@faint cape ooosh thanks bro, appreciate it
What are the red numbers I'm suddenly seeing when I'm shooting mobs? is that a blocked hit or reduced hit or something?
nah its appearing over the mobs, like 2-3k a time, weird im maxed crit on chakrams doing story level 30ish" so my 50k crits are easy to see ill try get a pic
Vidéo might be easier
yeah you'd think but i got one haha
sec
oh it appears red under "block" ive never seen before ill dm
Tbf they did change how the damage numbers look
Looks like they're red because of block to me
Oh
Ah
Uhh let me see if I can find them
not a bad block though i mean 50k crits down to 2k lol i'd take that haha
Yeah so that would be blocked dmg in red
yeah it just threw me as I'd never seen that before maybe its part of the unity?
i mean I've run the campaign a loooooottttttt i prefer to run it than respec lol
The font changed yeah
They updated the way the damage numbers look
I like it now I know it's not going to kill me
But the shield break iirc
gimme that stat please my rogue is paper lol
We can only get to 85%
Also apologies I legit thought I had sent this direct to vlad I've only just noticed I'm in main chan now haha FML time for dinner I reckon (nevermind i did and then we came back here i'm so lost)
So I tried D4 season 9. I must say it makes me really appreciate LE a way better game on so many levels. I don't even know where to begin on how crappy D4 really is.
Start by saying what you love in LE and spread the love, not hate
Agreed. What I love about LE is the crafting the freedom to do what you want. No restrictions on you as a player to do what you want. The ease of finding items. I only miss the social part of D4. I want to find new friends to game with. Make new friends and play together. Talk to new people and be happy gaming together. I had that in D4.
I'm very social. I like to talk to people from all around the world.
Ohh I'm grinding. I dont know if you remember me. You help me get past a difficult spot in the game. I am greatful to you. Now I changed toons and learned a lot more. Doing well. I am a Warpath Void Knight now and I decimate my enemies.
I'm going to go back to grinding @desert tree and I want to go into the 100 area but I dont know if I can do it. I am a 72 now. If you want to chat and game with me I would appreciate that very much.
Chat yes
Play no
It doesn't look like it but I am at work rn 😅
Unless you are in hardcore, there is no penalty for dying, so go try empowered
Looking up builds and reading through the discord / forums is my favourite activity at work
Perhaps another time then. When you are free from work. I'll check in another time and get back to grinding the level 58 area. Which BTW at level 72 nothing survives.
Hey guys I notice that my hp has been gradually decreasing and halves to its max value ever since I enter heoborea
Is this a bug? Im genuinely confused
You have more ward then you had before? 🤔
Not too sure
How much is too much tho
Ahhh found the problem
It was the experimental gloves lol
4% of missing health gained as ward per second
I was thinking if you switched Body, Boots or gloves lately and have a "ward per missing health" stat
👍
Thanks lad
Vlad is a great senpai to look up to, until he starts impaling
after that even greater
He gets to the point fairly quickly, huh?
Only in days that end in Day
Thanks gods it's Jueves
What are the names of the days in Eterra?
No loot day
Zero loot day
Thats the weekend
The human friday was "Loot-for-a-different-build-day", right?
would this be a worthwhile buy for someone who is completely unacquainted with the genre? heard people saying it's a good middle ground, and now that the sale is here i'm debating it
for a little more context, my favorite things in games is enough loot and gear variety to give you a headache, also some good knightly fashion, with tons of options
As someone who played and enjoyed Titan Quest and Torch Light, but was put off by PoE and Diablo, LE re-ignited my interested in ARPGs!
There's plenty of loot, variety within that loot, crafting options and ways to build out your skills!
thank you for the answer. how is the endgame? I really like buildcrafting, especially when it gets minmaxed and complicated later on
There's plenty options for different crafting stuff in endgame and the difficulty scales endless. Also the gear can be minmaxed quite endlessly depending on your goals and the time you are willing to invest.
You will only see if you like the game if you test it - but I feel there's not much that can go wrong for around ~30 bucks of investment
hmm i think LE is pretty good on the loot except for a few areas...e.g. how niche and weak the sets are, and how end game builds mostly revolve around powerful legendaries. i think the build balancing could be a lot better as well.
Like Volin said, the best way to know is to play. Two of the main 'draws' of LE are that you can just muck about without ever following a guide and make it all the way through the content just learning by yourself, and by asking questions THEN, given that difficulty, or Corruption, can scale endlessly - you can start to refine your build and squeeze out every little bit of damage/defense until it's completely min/max with or without the help of guides
Cool, thanks
There's also a TON of resources to help with gameplay decisions and information. Just check the pinned comments for this channel if you want to have a look 😊
Necromancer: 1690
Sorcerer: 746
Warlock: 595
Marksman: 428
Shaman: 363
👀 @blazing umbra
This is season or legacy?
🤔 I‘m surprised my marksman conquered more echoes than shaman lol
All of them are legacy
That necromancer should probably be able to destroy normal aberroth
Try to use abomination
necromancer/sorcerer/warlock should have this ability because they're lv 100. Shaman is lv 98, marksman is lv 97, still under development.
500-700 timelines could already be a lvl 100 or very high 90s - all of them could probably beat Abby if you focus on one of them, get it straight and practice
I'd be shocked if a Necro with 2k echoes completed can't blow normal out of existence
Probably needs a little finetuning
I messed up my runemaster so lv 96 and 287 echoes are conquered only
First time to notice the info like that by the way, thanks for the reminder
None of my characters have completed 20 monoliths... That's odd
can anyone help me with uber ive died at least 50x
It don't make sense because necromancer is the only character which have been max level within a season and as you see, all monoliths have corresponding corruption
you're missing the normal monos like I said
Not sure if I can carry him, but I would like to try if you are EUW
I can come too if you want
sure
i will switch my server one sec
re-invite please
no problem I'm just chilling anyway
🤔 I mean my necromancer is 100% from 1.0. No rush mechanic while 1.0 and this is the first character I played so I must played all monoliths even in normal timelines
I'm there feel free to invite when ready
i invited
if I add throwing tag to shadow cascade through dagger dance, does added flat throwing or increase works on the main hit or just throwing part?
Only the throwing part scales with throwing stats. -mana cost for throwing attacks applies to the skill as a whole, though.
How do you tell what tier an arena is?
The arena entrance is located in Champion's Rest, Divine Era, West of Heoborea. Right click on an Arena key to have the map zoom straight there. When you click on the large arena circle where you put in the Arena key it'll ask you to select the tier - similar to the Dungeons - but Arena has 1 through 4 and also Endless.
Ohhhhhhh I was thinking it was the Arena echoes in the monolith. That makes sense, thank you!
So you'd select Tier 4 when you start it. I believe you need to complete the earlier tiers first
Note that there are 3 random bosses in Arena and you don't know which you're going to get. I personally either skip these or use a Lens like Focusing Lens of Time to remove Arenas from the Prophecies, as I don't want to have to sit through 30 waves, do the boss, and it not be the one for the Prophecy.
But if you enjoy Arena and/or want to farm those bosses, go ahead!
Yeah, good point. Had I known this before I got those prophecies....haha
Do I find class specific idols only for the class im playing or it doesnt matter?
There is weighting to the class things like Helmet, Body Armor, and Relics, but there is either less or no weighting for the class idols. You get a lot of idols for other classes. I just try to get my filter setup to highlight the ones I need - including any Alts I want to play - and hide the rest
Yeah I havent done that so far, but i need a very specific one for a primalist build i want to play and mainly playing mage atm
you reckon its worth just doing prophecies on my mage for it then? 😄
I think only idol prophecies have that issue, normal idol drops are class weighted
Ah ok, that would explain it
So yes, you can do it fine on mage if you go through prophecies
If you're doing Prophecies, sure
Ah great, thanks guys ❤️
Is it a Chance on hit to summon a Thorn Totem ornate idol? If it makes you feel any better, I had pretty good luck finding those
Just kept rolling ornate totem prophecies
Best way to get multi-exalts is just spam the nemesis tower? And if it doesn't get an item that I want, I just banish?
Are the diff timelines in the monolith randomly generated or is there layout always the same? For example, if I wanted to farm relics in The Last Ruin, would they always be in the same place or is it RNG?
Echoes with relic rewards, I mean
Absolutely random
Ok that's what I thought, but I just wanted confirmation 🙂
I'm trying to farm Diothaen's Bloody Nib for my spellblade. A build guide on maxroll said relic rewards in the last ruin was the way to get it. But I'm new, so I dunno lol
I said it so often and say it again: Curse Maxroll for that bs....
You choose MG or CoF?
CoF
So what George said! 😄
Will do!
You really don't want to target farm a unique via echo rewards, that would be pain
Good to know lol
I hate them with a burning passion
they're literally the worst
An AOE retaliation attack with no cool down? Yeah everyone hates these guys lul
hey where to post about a bug? I keep getting random unity crashes
F8 in game or #1210281997591908452
is the Observatory/Bazaar really the only waypoints i want to keep open on characters? and as long as I have at least one character alive on that setting (HC or SC) then all characters on that setting will have those two waypoints?
No, once you unlock either faction on your first character on a stash all subsequent characters can choose a faction at the first town in act 1
Not sure what you mean by keeping a waypoint open
wasn't sure if i had to go to the observatory again on a new character
wasn't sure how the faction thing worked in it's entirety
only keep one SC character and hadn't had a HC character make it to the observatory/bazaar yet
Yeah on subsequent characters you get to choose faction at the first town. As long as you have a character that shares stash with them that's already selected a faction
I think the answer is no but honestly I don't understand the question sorry lol
Sometimes HC has had bugs that cause you to lose shared progress if the char you made the progress on dies
But it should be permanent for that stash once you get it
wasn't sure if i could still pick a faction if i only had the one who had and they died and i made a new character
so made a second character to pick a faction and stay in the background so that i will always have a living HC character that made the choice
Sounds like in hardcore that might cause issues from what father toast just said, so yeah maybe make a second character, go to the first town and select a faction so if your main character dies your progress stays
Since the alt will have it
You should still be able to, but doesn't hurt to try and be safe
I think that kind of bug has historically been more related to Forgotten Knights progress resetting and blessings discovered on other chars disappearing
so yeah, i had done that, but before doing so, i thought i had to travel to the observatory/bazaar again to make the choice, hence why i was calling it a waypoint
Nah there'll be an npc at the first town you can select faction from
They made a few attempts to fix it, hopefully all good now, but I don't know actually lol
Your characters can't share waypoints between each other
Yeah, Bazaar/Observatory are just special in that once your char has their faction picked, they just get those unlocked
yee, see that now XD
never played a second character on either setting that had a faction, so wasn't sure how it worked
before 1.2 came out, i had all my 1.0 and 1.1 characters returned to legacy, which is normal right. then i made a new legacy character so i could use all the gear from 1.0 and 1.1, but i was unable to join cof at the first town. the npcs weren't there. i had to manually go to act 9 to join, so i could use all stash gear but nothing cof tagged until act9. everything else transferred across, all the favor and everything when i joined cof at act 9. the next new legacy character i made had access to the npcs at the first town.
Did you transfer your stash before or after you did that
Since I'm pretty sure faction progress also only gets transferred once you transfer the stash
trying to remember but i think yeah i transferred before, coz i was able to use all of my 1.0 and 1.1 stash, but nothing cof tagged. if i didnt transfer it before, none of that would have been visible right.
Correct. Sounds like a bug if it really didn't let you choose in the first town after the stash was transferred
Yeah, I don't think the quest step that says you've unlocked factions transfers with your stash/season stuff
Probably same thing applies for the new shared regular timeline completion
How do you get empowered mono's on alt again? I connected all the bridges and completed a boss but still nothing
Just complete one of the level 90 timeline bosses, it should spawn a harbinger and you kill that and you're good to go
Ah, thank you
So.... I still see these white block icons. Will 2025 be the year these get fixed? 🙂
They have been fixed about 5 times now, just keeps breaking. Wierd part is its not broken for everyone (mine are fine). Just keep reporting it using f8
so glad i got the faction this early, only level 24 and already faction level 3
oddly, haven't gotten many faction tagged items, could've sworn they dropped more frequentl
Items only drop CoF-tagged when one of your faction bonuses created or modified it, so you'll see that more often the more you level up the faction
yeah, forgot my loot filter had that incorporated into it, kept forgetting why gear was dropping certain colors XD
Ok I'm confused and need help. I have this old quest that I've never been able to complete. Its "Find Artem's Stash" that supposed to be in the upper district. I have exposed the entire map looking for the door but there is a barrier blocking the way. Its like some sort of weird barrier. I think to get the barrier down it has something to do with the forge next to it but I have no idea what to do. I can see the door on the map overlay. Help please.
If you teleport to the upper district, just go directly rightward from the waypoint, it's just a little interaction with the wall at the end of that hall
It is rather the Storm Totem, that stuns via its damage tho
You need a sufficient amount of damage for % increased stun to take effect
Yeah, she has a bugging Heorot, from what she describes it is stun related.
And seeing Storm Totem I'm not too surprised
If your damage per hit is too small, nothing will happen
I have good gift of picking the most difficult build to play
Depends, you can technically stun even if your hit does 1 damage. The 5% of max HP isn't pre stun chance
Storm Totem isn't a difficult build tho
As in if something has 1000 hp, you hit for 25, but have 100% inc stun chance your effective hit for stun is 50, which is 5% of Max hp and thus can stun
I mean a build for grinding harbingers
It just does a lot dmg and some low-mid corr Bosses will be interrupted with stuns, but continue to do the interrupted skill, while doing already new ones
Try a few times, perhaps you were just unlucky.
In the worst case try to increase, or to lower your corruption.
If you increase, you will do less stuns. If you lower it, you will have an easier fight if he does multiple skills at once
I will lose 3 collasping horizon then unfortunately
Then do them first?
Btw iirc the Collapsing Horizon Harbinger is more difficult, then a naturally spawned Harbinger on the same corruption
Nothing difficult if I can't stun enemies lol
I'm certain for Fading Brink, but think that also goes for Collapsing Horizon
never know stun can be a debuff
It's a debug 😏😏
I see it working effectively; if it doesn't stun the enemy, it's stunning you

Whats the world recod of highest corruption reached?
Over 10 000
Prob somewhere closer to 20 000
Maybe even more. I have no idea
Wow, thats insane!
Wow Thanks. That worked. I could not teleport there because I did not have that waypoint but I walked there and completed the quest. Thank you that was awesome.
sorry to say none of my builds can do that.
I'm too casual, alright... 100x more casual than you
I am not that hardcore 🥲
You did it so well 🫂 You're better than me a lot!
semicore it is
lol
To my knowledge, this is fixed. As in this particular bug is my White Whale and I take time to check IGBRs periodically to make sure it hasn't returned (for any Faction) 😊

My shaman, yes all slams are done already, just lack two more levels.
No idea how to increase more dps if we talk about dps
Why Eterra's Blessing?
I will be level 101 and still havent complete slamming my gear
health regan isn't enough
I need that to heal myself
Kinda odd you still need t5 resist on your exalts while already using resist idols
Also void and phy resist blessings
Did you not get enough resist from implicits and passives?
Warcry may be a better idea, as it also buffs your stuff a lot. But I'm not deep enough into the build anymore to be of assist here. But I feel there is a lot room for optimization.
#🐺┃primalist chat should be able to help here a lot usually
Give couple minute and we can talk about it
You have made a few mistakes we can quick fix
Vlad to the rescue

Hint: possessed
ok possessed and champion is the new content I dislike the most.
Reason: High damage + poor profit
but but possessed or not, that dominion killed alot of us
Even nerfed, Covenant of Dominion is a tough enemy
Pre nerf possessed covenant of dominion
indeed
what doing u in asia
I'm in the English Chat 🤷♂️
I spent too much time on that 😂 Went digging for an LE themed background just so the white background of the default template didn't flashbang anyone in darkmode
But I just see why I barely have the public chat on 🙈
Wow.... just wow. That escalated quickly 😄
Instantly become memes
When I see an opportunity
Seize it
One of the best ones I've ever screen capped was yesterday and it's sadly not appropriate for the server 😭 it had me laughing hysterically
question im kind of scared to get answered can items drop with more then 1 tier 6-7 affix
yes
🦅
i dont know what scares me more the doppleganger or the answer
😄
i was here first, its mine 😛
1-2 you can 'expect'. getting a 3-4 exalt with useable affixes is very rare
dont plan on it at all
i was just curious if it was possible i feel like finding ONE is basically a shiny with useable affixes i should probs buy a lottery ticket
I've seen 1 triple 6 2h axe
it was terrible rolls
i've had one useable triple on a ring.
But I also once got a mace with tier 6 %increased phys and flat phys
weapons are very hard to get multi exalts on, cuz its so build specific
I propose a duel
The winner gets a falcon skin
And is therefore forced to play falconer
this server is all that matters
i resign i like my beastmaster primalist build
You can snapshot the name in typical beastmaster fashion
Storm Eagle build
can you explain i dont know much about the community
It's a meme. Minion builds in the endgame summon their minions with a set that buffs the minions' tankiness, and then swap into their DPS gear which applies the damage to the skills rather than the minions themselves
So basically to minmax minion builds you need two gear loadouts
oh wtf i made my build myself and its a bleed build on minions
no weird statbuffing myself either
Yeah I was just joking around don't worry
Snapshotting is an undesired byproduct of the current code structure. The code allows it because that's what it's "supposed to do" but it's not an interaction they like and aim to change as soon as possible
Minion builds shouldn't need two sets of gear to compete
so what your saying is minion builds are getting buffed nxt season?
The change won't be making it to season 3 mike said
But I don't know if you can call it a buff or a nerf since a minmaxed minion build with two separate jacked up sets, especially for storm crows allows for some sick performance on bosses
It will definitely be less painful to build
meh either way i think ill still play a necromancer next season
yes. i know. i even talked to them.
a red spy is in the base
The spy could be anyone of us
It could be you
it could be me
it could
anyone know why im not getting harby progress
i fought him at 253 corruption and i needed 250
fought him twice with the key and nothing happened
and i havent done this timeline before
it gave me progress ig but didnt update the quest log
how do you actually get circle of fortune favor?
yeah but like what actually gives it to you ive gotten a bunch and no idea where from
Experience
killing enemies and progressing quests
oh literally just existing
@cedar locust maybe know
im not sure why but it checked off that i completed reign of dragons but didnt update the quest log
When you say 'fought him with the key' what do you mean?
How many timelines do you have left now?
3
the eye thingy
the box at the bottom
Then your quest log is up to date
You only needed 225 for the one you just did
You have 'The Last Ruin', 'The Age of Winter' and 'Spirits of Fire' left now 🙂
maybe im crazy but i swear it said 250
It might've, and that would be a bug if so
At least it's all good now
yep
i wonder if seal the skittering gate (its green) is a reference to the skittergate from vermintide 2 probs not but the devs have some obscure references so who knows
I can ask 😁
i think i read sacrificial wrong dyslexia goes hard sometimes
There is a Skittering Gate objective! 🙂
oh lol i looked at the wiki and didnt see it
I think their list might be out of date, but I have an internal list of all Monolith Objectives and the power of CTRL+F 😁
Highly recommend forgetting that wiki exists 😅
Skittering gate spawns a bunch of arachnid type enemies
No clue about a reference, LE doesn't have rat people enemies to spawn
if they did it would be a neat refrence
There's a list of really good, up to date resources in the Pinned Comments if you want to check them out 😊
