Actually imma be real, the bigger problem is Wolf survivability at high corruption particularly from big attacks such as Lagon Laser, Orobyss meteor/void explosions, etc.
do echoes, fill stability, kill the boss, repeat as necessary for farming favor/items/whatever else you need, kill shades to increase corruption or reset the web once you run out of nodes to do
bcos they melee they keep running into these attacks
You can clear echo of the world as long as it shows up, no stability needed.

Are there any builds you can recommend where progressively upgrading your gear makes a more significant impact? I would like to really grind it out this time and I am looking for a build which really rewards this kind of timeinvestment.
Something like statstacking. I think Mana stacking was a thing when I last played for example.
We dont have the S2 ptach notes
But Attribute Stacking (Dex, Int and Str) is good

My skill has a 120% chance to shock. How do I know the actual chance? I assume it has a base, since it is above 100%.
most ailment in this game have stack, so if you have 120%, you apply 1 stack + 1/5 of a 2nd one
You apply 1 stack and have 20% for a second one

For 2 reasons
- Disintigrate is a dot and doesnt hit so cannot apply ailment at a base lvl (obviously this is change by the skill tree)
- Ailments are not tied to the dmg type to be apply. If you have Bleed on Hit (goes back to 1.) and use a Lightning Spell Hit skill you will apply Bleed but not Shock
This skill of mine randomly applies shock, but I cant find the source of the shock. Hence the reason I assumed lightning would eventually apply shock

This might be a weird question, but I've read long ago they've introduced ward for enemies to avoid players beaming bosses etc. But it seems that I sometimes find enemies were as soon as I break the shield they regain it shortly after, giving me a super tiny window for damaging. Is there some sort of strategy/mechanic I need to be aware about or was the introduction of ward for enemies targeted at both high and low end dps?
The shield doesnt prevent you from doing dmg

I hit most enemies for ~300 damage around 3-5 times a second. I am not sure how this skill is showing 6k dps? I also did see some traits mentioning that skill can be of higher tier, does it perhaps do more damage the longer I cast?

DPS tooltip doesn't include a lot of factor, like monster lvl / resistance, but there website that can help you "solve" your build

I both love and hate Falconer for many reasons. It's passive tree is great, I love the thresholds. Also it's busted as shit and that sucks lmfao
disintegrate tooltip is notoriously inaccurate even compared to other tooltips which are already inaccurate as is. And this is after they "fixed" it. Used to show absurd numbers like 10b DPS while your skill was actually doing like 20k per tick
And thats 400% More Dmg in the basic tree
Now you combine it with all the More Dmg from the specific skill trees

uniques are always the same level. but its level means nothing for its stats
its just there to gate where it drops and when can equip it

How long do you all think the main campaign is if you aren't speed running it?
10-15 hours with just a little genre experience I'd say.
But seen people here that took over 30, I guess if you explore and read stuff that can happen easily.
And once you know the game just a little, you can half the 10-15 easily and still pkay quite relaxed
My first ever campaign (up to chapter 9 which is still the end I believe) took me 18 hours, since then I usually do around 10/12 and way less than that for rerolls since you can speed up the process
Can someone please explain to me how this passive CONCENTRATION works in the MARKSMAN tree? It is supposed to grant an immediate 2% flat damage increase (per invested point up to 16%) until you are hit by an enemy

It depends so much on the build. I've played a falconer than had some of its specialized skills not even on the bar because they only existed to be procced by other abilities. If throw net can proc the blades skill, you don't need blades on your bar and you can put an unspecialized skill in, because you might as well

I’ve played on and off since launch and have built each class at least once, and there really is no rule of thumb for the number of your skills that fill each role. My rune master had one dps, 1 support 2 survival and 1 traversal skill but my blade dancer had 3 dps one traversal and one survival/support skill so it all really depends

Its difficult to build around but I have seen some very interesting setups around it (particularly one with telf'un's mirage and autocast RI at the end of Flame rush since you can get a large amount of armor/dodge while channeling)

Yes they will, and legacy ones will have their removed affix replaced with smth else (they have not disclosed what yet)
tooltips are very inaccurate and also don't reflect many if not most conditional modifiers, chances are this just isn't reflected in the tooltip
you don't need faith, you can try it on a dummy in the arena lobby. 16% more damage should be immediately obvious in damage numbers
sure, that's 99% of the point in this whole "league mechanic"
just check the affix availability, you can't even put attributes on every slot. Also there are no silly uniques that give +1000 00 0 0 0 0 0 0000 attributes in one slot
if some site publishes a tier list sourced from closed beta now, they will get a thorough sounding with barbed wire from the developers
which is, you have to at the very least wait until the patch notes are published
the very idea of a "prepatch" doesn't exist in this game, all changes get rolled over at the same time, it aint WOW
this is not uncommon, but some variation does exist. For example many builds use a dedicated mana regen skill, especially on mage. In many cases one of your specialized skills can be triggered by another skill passively, and you'll be using an unspecced movement skill on your hotbar

There is not a one stop spot for every change between 1.0 and 1.2, no. Unless you wanna read all the patch notes on their forums. Patch notes for season 2 come on the 11th and will change even more

Otherwise every Sentinel who have just specced enough passive points in Paladin tree would get at least passive effect from symbols, even if they haven't specced into it? Would be kinda completely free additional skill compared to all other classes.
I guess that makes sense. But you can still benefit from procced abilities that aren't on your bar. Feels kinda arbitrary

alas right now its damage is 100% dependent on 300% more modifier on VR

Yes, there are quite a few skills that don't scale with attack speed. One of the most notable ones available to FG is shield bash. Smelter's wrath, too.

Current VR is a 1.6x damage multiplier you can apply to all your skills, making it a powerful support option for everything. For DOT damage, the damage multiplier is a whopping 2.8x, which makes it super mandatory. It also could be used to completely negate mana costs for stuff (like spend 100% of your mana for something and then immediately reverse it back to full).
I mean "maxroll" doesn't make guides most of them are just content creators that upload their own builds on there. I could be wrong but a decent amount probably are also playing poe2 ATM and without patch notes might not seeing anything till maybe the 13th +
no guides will be going up pre 11th and even then its pure speculation until (unless they have a content creator access ) the patch actually drops

items dropped this way are affected by normal drop requirements. They can't include sub types, affixes, or uniques. That aren't dropped by regular enemies.
it means if you put in boots with movespeed, you can't get a chest with movespeed, because chests cannot have movespeed

No, it's bunch of new items. It will be generated when the items drop
"very similar" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, judging by what they actually said in the stream you are most likely to get an item that has a "similarity" in one affix or base type
which is better than nothing but "very" similar it is not
Depends on build, as some builds run ward so they have a bit less health.

The campaign is a straight line, so you most likely just accidentally followed the wrong quest.

Might be a bit of language barrier, but the gist is:
You put an item into the slot. That item is "imprinted" in the slot
You get an extra chance to get extra items that are "similar" to the imprinted item when doing different things depending on the specific node
"Similar" means sharing the same affixes or base for exalts and the same unique for unqiues

theres a rune or smth that switches around the tiers of ur affixes, probably that
Rune of havoc lets you swap the exalted affix around. So if you have an item with a T7, T1, T1 and T1, you can use havoc to make it for example T1, T7, T1, T1. That is how you make a T7 set affix
we don't really know all possible results either, just what they said on stream which is by far not an exhaustive description of the mechanic

yes, the prison/sarcophagus is one shot. Once the mage is out and you killed it, it has no further use
But for us you can use the Rune of Havoc (the one that shuffled the tier within the item)
without editing the item with dev tools, you can put a set affix on an exalt with a different t7 affix and use rune of havoc to reshuffle them

you can get "complex" i.e. by trying to use runic invocation builds without automation, just by manually choosing which builders you are gonna use. But it's less "complex" and more "tedious" really, and also probably gonna suck on power level too although there are exceptions. Like I'm pretty sure that some orb builds have you using builders manually

CoF is not strictly SSF. SSF is a separate option entirely at character creation. Both can be swapped though.

Calling COF and MG "leagues" is a POEism, it doesn't really work like that. You pick the faction on a per character basis (although progress is shared with alts in the same "league") and you can have different alts in different factions at the same time. You can change but a lot of your gear will be faction locked to your old faction so you better have a new set ready.
Also as already said you do have limited trade options (mostly within your group) when playing COF

yeah it's a (probably smallish) pool of new affixes that are uniquely sourced from random drops from champion mobs
they haven't shown them other than a couple of teasers

I really like the way the are going with itemization in terms of finding decent items and then improving upon them with crafting, and 1.2 seems go further into that direction wich is great. finding items should always have value over just sitting in stash and playing crafting simulator for hours

you'd have to loot a 3 exalted affix exalt with an open prefix slot, craft a low tier random affix on it, transform it into an experimental affix, havoc it into an exalted slot, then luck into removing the new non-exalt affix with removal, then add a set affix into that slot, havoc until both the set and the experimental affix are exalted..
sounds more than a little implausible
but technically possible
It gets a bit more complicated with set affixes since I believe the only way to exalt them is through havoc

Fundamental criterion is cool but too restrictions on making it work. I must use wand/sceptre/staff to cast special rune to get damage bonus, that mean available patterns of runic invocation is limited actually.
3% more damage per strength for invocations with Heo as second rune. So it mean I must use patterns which heo as the second rune if I want to bonus my damage by more strength, another patterns which heo is the first or the last rune don't work.
Runemaster is a masterpiece, but current gears don't give enough support for players to select their favourite patterns freely. That's what I want to see on changes for runemasters too, of course I knew EHG knew that issue because dreamweaver have mentioned that.

I assume the MG player could share all party loot and the CoF player all not-tagged stuff?

Not all items drop with the COF tag
so you can gift those to your friend as long as they dropped while in same instance
Also gifting is not trading, so items drop while being CoF are giftable but not tradable

what we know about the systems is that once an item is reforged as a set item, it is no longer counting as an exalted item, so you cannot use it to slam a unique into legendary
What's an LP item?
a unique item with legendary potential (LP). there is a pretty good section in the game guide about it

that's because you are approaching Runic Invocation from the standpoint of advertised class fantasy, but it does not work like that, never used to, and never will pending a redesign from the ground up. You choose the invocation you want to use and build to always use it, and then you build around the item restrictions criterion puts on you based on runes.
Also RM is a very mediocre implementation at best, hardly a "masterpiece", and they failed to address most of its problems (mainly focused on RI as its most iconic skill) in any way since it debuted

the problem is that I didn't see many passive tree changes mentioned in the recent announcements, with most of the changes apparently going to void knight or paladin, instead of FG where they're most needed. As long as I remembered Forge Guard had the absolute most undertuned passive tree. The Champion of the Forge node is Additive crit multi per strength, which is nothing, when it could have been More crit multi
all clases are getting some changs but this update is more focused on pala and vk, as fg was already reworked in 1.1
you arent missing anything, they didnt announce detailed changes or tuning. Wait for patch notes
FG also got an entirely new node in forgemasters might and can now weild a 2h + shield. which is a pretty significant passive tree change on top of what it got in 1.1, and just general sentinel buffs.

idk. it comes with a less damage and less attack speed multi... which imo is the last thing FG needs. the tankiness is already there, FG just needs the damage to perform on the level of other classes

I think Runic Invocation needs a big rework or atleast some less reliance on Fundamental Criterion but since its relatively new it won't see changes for some time
it needs less reliance on criterion and it needs any real incentive to use it in a strategic and adaptable way, like, you know, invocations on invoker who was its main inspiration
but that goes directly contrary to the whole of LE combat design so it will never happen in any real way

No, but you can use Shift+RMB iirc to quickly move items from Stash to your inventory. Then do the same in reverse at the shop. For what it's worth, items sell for very little so unless they're worth hundreds of gold, it might be better dropping them

If you can survive, you can start with monos with lvl1.
You only get exp for up to 10 levels above you, but still you can technically boost alts like that.
Tho I'd always go the route to grab passives/idol slots before. You will not be much faster if you re-run campaign as high level, but will get no exp.
As the LE campaign is quite short I would take one of the common questing routes and start with monos once you have passives/idols

No, each piece has their own shard and tied affix, we don't have that list yet. The affix can only be crafted onto the same item type. (Eg, dagger shard to daggers)
Crafting it onto an item turns the item into a new item rarity called reforged set that is considered part of the set, and cannot be used for legendary crafting
