If you go Warpath + Smite, you need the Relic for Axe Throw while Warpath + Idols Smite on Throwing Hit. Its a really good build

conf of fate doesnt roll that all the same, cuz your fire dmg is 13%, and necro/void is 12%...so they clearly dont roll together.

it will have a roll range but it will always have +x% poison damage
