Hello. I'm am a shadow dagger falconer lvl 82 and I just unlocked the empowered monolith. Yet I'm getting destroyed in echoes with 100 corruption. My damage is more than ok but I only have 1k health and no ward. Even if I sacrifice a lot of my damage for more tankiness, I still struggle since I no longer one shot everything and I still don't have ward and too few health points. What am I supposed to do? (and no, I don't want to exploit the glitch of infinite shadows before entering an echo. Shatter gives you between zero to the tier number in shards for every Affix on the item, minimum of 1 shard per item. If it's an Affix you really want, use Removal, which always gives you full tier number in shards on what it hits.

You generally don't need to focus almost anything on defenses before reaching empowered mono's, but then you are going from area level 90 with 0 corruption to area level 100 with 100 corruption which is quite a step up. Look for ways to increase your defenses: resistances, health affixes, glancing blow, dodge, endurance, any less% damage taken from your passive tree or skill trees. You could try getting some useful/better rolled blessings from the normal timelines as well, giving you some exp and such in the meantime

Ok then sort out your defenses and try again. Get your Health/Ward up. Try to get resistances up, they don't have to be exactly at 75%, but higher is better. Get either Crit Avoid or Reduced Crit Damage to 100%, and stack up some additional defense layers such as Armor, Endurance, Dodge, etc. Also having increased move speed really helps in dodging attacks.

Basically you set yourself on fire to do a lot of extra damage. There's also other abilities/items that do more damage when you're on low life, and Death Seal can lock you in low life. It also really works well with %Endurance.

It's normal that if you die in a dungeon it kicks you out. They're one try per key. It DCing you is a bug. It's supposed to put you back at the dungeon entrance.

Yeah, set aside some more level uniques for your alt. Then start in the campaign, optionally using the dungeon exits to skip ahead. You can go into Monoliths whenever you want. I personally go into them when I have 15/15 Passives and 8/8 Idols, which is usually in the 40s.

yea depends on the # of LP, if it is only 1 LP, it will select 1 random affix from the exalted item. If it is 2 LP, it will select 2 random affxies, it is same idea for 3 LP and 4 LP. That is why i always craft the exalted item to ensure that it have all 4 affixes that i want so i dont feel bad whenever it pick any random one

Good question - honestly depends on what you are trying to grind. I really like the monoliths that show the area around them… I focus on one direction and prioritize gold and xp so I can quickly jump to a higher level monolith after beating one

Actually let me correct my slightly incorrect answer. You can only have 5 keybinds. Some skills can be triggered through other skills, passives, and items, so for example you could have healing hands trigger when you use a melee skill, but never have it on your skill bar. But yeah, only 5 active skills.

You need enough defense that you're comfortable in whatever level of Corruption you want to play in. That's usually multiple layers of defense, such as a generous amount of Health/Ward, Resistances, Armor, Endurance if you're doing Health and not Ward, and others like Dodge, Block, etc.

In terms of multiple types of damage, no, generally you focus on one type and try to scale that. Sometimes two if you have something that you can scale two things at once easily, like two types of DoTs.

DoTs are not a hit, so it probably wouldn't work. But you could open up your character sheet and check. You should see the Dodge value change if it works.

The Steam Screenshots? In game, Shift + Tab. Push the Screenshots button on the bottom -> Push the Gear Icon on the left -> Scroll down the In Game section to "Save Uncompressed copy of my screenshots" and turn that on. Then the folder where those screenshots are saved is listed.

Well, as I said, there's only one that allows to get online character data, you can't do much with it really. Devs are working on API to get stuff from the game, but it's not finished even for beta/internal use. So the only way to get data currently is to parse game files.

Basically you set yourself on fire to do more damage. There's also items/passives that make you do more damage at low life, and Death Seal passive Deadlock puts you to low life while Death Seal is up. It's also very strong with %Endurance.

Currently Paladin / Void Knight is the only class that uses a lot of void skills and damage. There's some items that some other classes can use, though.

@thick folio Death Seal makes it so you don't go above your current life while it's active. You can use the Deadlock passive on the left side of Death Seal to make it so Death Seal puts you at least 33% life when you Death Seal. So you'd only heal up to 33% if you use that. Or whatever your current life was when you pushed Death Seal if you don't use Deadlock passive.

Idols are from anywhere. It can be difficult to find exactly a certain combination of affixes. You'd probably best off looking for some one with the Prefix and some with the Suffix, at least to start with. You can take the Blessing for that type of idol drop chance. You can do Prophecies for that idol type. You can do the Idols echo reward for additional drop chances. Etc etc.

@manic tendon No, you can change everything except your initial class and mastery. You can easily change your skills at any time, respec your passives using the in game gold you have tons of with a NPC in town, you can change your items, idols, blessings, and even which trade faction you're in - although that's more work.

you gain stability for completing the shade. so unless I misunderstood, youre fine. Also in empowered, you dont need to do all 3 quests, just the final boss of the timeline.

Are you Specializing in Bone Curse or just taking a passive in another skill that auto casts it for you? If you're just it as an extra curse, then it's mostly going to be scaling the stuff that does more damage on enemies that have more curses on them. If you Specialized into it, there's various passives that can boost your damage in there.

Sure you can skip whatever side quests you want. There's some that give a passive/idol unlock though, so you want to do enough of those to get 15/15 passives and 8/8 idols. there's more than you need to cap, though, so you can skip some.

Well you can use passives in Bone Curse like Cloven Flesh for +Bleed Chance and Brittle Bones for a 12% kill threshold / cull. Sigil of Mortality also does Mark for Death, which would reduce the enemy's Physical Resistance.

That's subjective, but there's a changelog down at the bottom. It says it was previously updated before 1.0 came out. The most recent update was after 1.0 - so after they got to try out all the changes.

You can push M key and look in the lower left to see where it says Passive Points Rewards x/15 and Idol Slot Rewards y/8. Once you have those capped. You can choose to skip those sidequests. There's more than you need to cap.

No you have to complete just the 3 lvl 90 ones then go to an island between them to unlock empowered

You need to do the 3x level 90s. Then walk back on the path to the area inbetween them. If you don't get an in-game cutscene and can't interact with the thing in the middle, then try:
warping between the 3x level 90s until the thing in the middle blinks
restarting and walking back there
doing a level 90 echo and walking back there

"corruption" isn't something you unlock. you can get up to 50 corruption in normal monoliths.

completing all 3 level 90 monoliths (and then interacting with the object that intersects them) will unlock Empowered Monoliths, which start at 100 corruption and has no cap

Not so much an ask so much as a raising awareness and hoping it's not just a me problem, but as of patch 1.0.1.2, my GPU spikes to 100% usage whenever I'm on Last Epoch. Whether it be ingame or menus. It makes the FPS slow to a crawl in monoliths and I'm worried about the health of my GPU if I stay logged into Last epoch with it like that. Wasn't like this before, so probably just a patch bug, and hoping it's resolved soon so I can get back to playing 🙂

Are you talking about the crafting items, like Glyph of Hope? I don't think you can hide those. Just stuff like Idols.

@crimson herald He's got two skills you really need to watch out for. One is the large white circle. The second is when he shoots the continuous beam from his eye. Both of those will basically one shot you. For the white circle, you just need watch near your feet and move when you see it. For the eye beam, you need to try to stay away from his face. Especially if you see him start to duck down.
