Does someone know why my game is set on EUW but the bottom right of the skill bar shows me the US Central ping? Someone asked me what my preferred region was set on and that's EUW as well so Im kinda clueless as to why it shows me US.

pretty much useless exept for, ascention to uniques and shattering blues. For shattreing blues I show only the affixes that I need on that character.
If You are using a maxroll guide, they usually have a loot filter for you ready. To open lootfilter menu SHIFT + F.
If you are not using a guide, you can look for a generic class/mastery specific filter on lastepochtools or just make your own.

So the linux client is not gone. They updated the windows and since that was on the latest version, steam wanted to update to that even when i didn't force the use of proton in the game's settings. Using Vulkan sadly results in other issues on my end. The skill menu is broken and some of the inventory slots are empty. The highlighting of dialogs is so bright that the characters are unreadable. Performance is clearly better but the stuttering is still present. I am on Kubuntu 23.10 so the radeon Software for linux is not supported. I could get it installed but this would install the proprietary OpenGL drivers as well. AMDs proprietary drivers are known for beeing inferior in gamecompatibility and performance. MESA RadeonSi and MESA RADV are the drivers that come with every linuxdistro and it is also what Valve uses for the steamdeck. The game should work flawless on at least high settings on my end given the fact that i am running at 1080p. I am using proton right now which works flawless for me.

Tier doesn't really matter, aside from the fact that the higher the tier, the more potential shards you could get (it's randomly 0 to tier level). You should just shatter whatever you can afford to shatter based on what affixes you need, and the higher tier your target affix, the better. If it's an extremely rare affix, you might want to use removal instead, although they're rarer, and you may have to use up to 4 to remove the affix you want, but you're guaranteed to get the exact tier worth of shards.

Craft early and 'often' (as often as you can if you have mats), depending on your needs and current resources available. Bear in mind that the later in the game, the more mats you have and affixes (and suffixes) on gear are stronger thus yelding more mats on shatter BUT early on you will have small amount of shatter runes (they go for 2k gold at vendors) so you have to find yout your balance between crafting what you want and what you really need.

Once Runes of shattering are more common, you will find (with help of loot filters) what's really worth saving and what's not even worth pcking up, as sell values of items are kinda low.

There are two types of crit affixes (and many other types, damage, health, etc). +% Critical Damage is additive. If you have 5% base crit chance and an item with +10% Critical Damage, you now have 15% crit chance. +% Increased Critical Damage is multiplicative. If you have 5% base crit chance an an item with 10% Increased Critical Damage, you now have 5.5% crit chance. Obviously, the latter have much higher values and are much more common.

The problem is that using runes of removal use forging potential, so removing 2 mods, aside from the risk of removing the mods you do want, is probably going to eat up a lot of FP. I would say you probably don't want to remove more than 1 mod, and you want to use glyph of hope while doing it, and if you don't hit the remove on the first, or at worst second try, it's probably not worth continuing to try on that base. Back to loot goblin'in 🙂

Through PoE or D4 endgame my character would gain access to items that change my gameplay, and that was exciting to grind for.
