Kirra that's a factor. That isn't the most important factor. At the end of the day LE is boring and has pretty much nothing to do. You get to endgame like day 1 of the league, gearing is laughably easy and theirs not really any pinnacle content outside of Uber Aberroth. You can pretty much see everything that the game has to offer in 3-5 days. Turns out for most people at that point they're either bored, moved on or never coming back. Their is no hook for Last Epoch. Half the builds don't work because of years old bugs, or the new item is bugged, or you do infinity damage because they can't do Math. It's a surface level ARPG with very little to explore. That's the reason.

I mean for me it's a combination of a lot of things. Like yeah the MTX looks kinda meh but I'll say part of the reason originally I bought MTX in PoE 1 many moons ago was they were quite literally a small indie studio and it was their only source of income and on top of that, they also produced and kept producing consistently so it was also a level of trust with GGG if that makes sense. They aren't perfect and obviously they will eff up, but I at least trust they're gonna keep working to fix shit
