We resolved this hallucination issue about a year ago, when we wrote our framework that doesn't let our agents write anything that breaks tests that were created based on well-defined requirements. Seeing Amazon's product come out, and knowing this is the way to actually automating the creation of software, I think we're entering that promised new era. To be fair, while we are very privileged and lucky to have access to very high-quality specs-to-code-to-discussions codebases that we trained on, I know there isn't stopping AI once the larger public adopts this workflow and the models get a tiny bit better. We're never gonna use it for critical things, but for everything else, it's heaven. I don't see a future where AI takes jobs from proper engineers. But it's definitely reality that, if you don't use AI - and get good at it - you'll be left behind. Software will balloon.

I played the previous game, it was for 3DS ($40 on launch), this one seems considerably larger so I'm not really bothered by the price tag I just don't often have $60 to spare on games is all. It's been holding a 90-91% positive on Steam since launch which is pretty solid too.

The reason it hooked me when I was younger is because every item you use is made by you, all your gear, all your potions, your housing furniture, your food, you have to learn and level the different professions/skills to get access to more items to use throughout the game. On the 3DS game I spent so long playing the game that I maxed out everything on three different save files lol

UI interactions lacked clear visual feedback, making it hard to confirm whether an input was registered.

I wish animation-locking was made illegal. It's 10 times better to have a global cooldown than to feel like you're pressing something and it's not registering at all...24/7...

You just didn't like how they started the review, but I appreciate them giving me the context of who/what they are upfront, because I'd like to know if the review is made by someone that eats slop for breakfast. My favourite bug is probably still the one where the game was autosaving on a loop in the background in one of the penultimate areas of the game, slowing your game performance to a crawl unless you moved your whole save directory to a RAM-disk to keep up with the constant HDD churn.

1. yeah. THQ Nordic made the first game so they're making the second.That's how IPs work.
2. This criticism can be applied to Last Epoch, PoE2, PoE1 when it was in beta, Diablo 4 beta, Slormancer beta, and that's just the ARPGs I can think of off the top of my head, other genres I can name many more. Also Vampire Survivors is not an ARPG, fool.
3. It's been like 20 years since TQ1 came out, of course a lot of the devs back then aren't there anymore, that's how moving on works.

5. DX12 is good, you goober. My games with DX12 run infinitely better than 11. Yes Unreal 5 has issues, it's still a pretty new engine, give it time. And seriously, most games need an SSD now, that's how time works.

As much as I love having multiplayer features in them, I played LE far more before co-op existed, Slormancer doesn't have co-op, I have played a whopping 40 hours of Diablo 3 in co-op (and I've played a fairly decent amount of D3), I've barely interacted with the multiplayer parts of D4, PoE I almost exclusively use it for trade, Grim Dawn I've never used the online features, hell even Diablo 2 I've barely touched any of the online features outside of the like 4 items I traded for in PD2.

Without a specific endgame, I assume the amount of content is largely horizontal instead of vertical. So, number of mastery permutations multiplied by campaign content. That number would drop sharply if you're not interested in trying a variety of different mastery permutations or want more varied kinds of content.

It's an... interesting choice to release an ARPG into early access without some kind of repeatable vertical content, like an endgame, even a half-baked one like PoE2 did.

I'm died 2 times here because I stick on here and can't move when the last wave of enemies appeared and the boss just stand on my current location, many enemies surround me.

The fault of their environment artists I'll say because the boss skill they designed force me to run in a circle. The edge of rocks on here isn't flat and plants on the edge influence me to judge where should I run to be honest. @cerulean smelt

Plus I have no idea how to solve energy issue because none of them can help me regen energy quickly. The only passive relevant to this area give... I can say zero help. 1% energy per second not enough at all, for these spell skills. I use fissure as main attack.

No idea what have I did wrongly, I find zero modifiers can reduce energy cost either fissure or another spells. All modifiers just increase energy cost.

I have find a energy potion help energy regeneration indeed but even +3 energy regeneration, the speed of recovering energy still slower than spending speed A LOT. Energy potion can get 1 charge per 1s, it mean I have 4-6s I can't use potion once it's ran out. Then I can dodge enemy's attack only, the combat isn't smooth at all.

I have another mana potion in fact, it have a bonus is "on use gain 50 max mana in 5s". This is no sense too due to the same reason.

TQ2 does a much better job at world/environment presentation I think, but D4 is a more cinematic experience. Very different art styles and themes, IMO TQ2 has the upper hand in environmental aesthetics.
