World Splitter scales on "Mana Cost" which is the upfront cost to start a cast. Warrior's Fury's adds "mana cost per second" also referred to as "Channel Cost" by the tooltip's cost preview. So no, Warrior's Fury does not scale World Splitter.

Generally, subskills don't have scaling tags, they inherit the scaling of the skill that causes them.
the skeleton rogues node doesn't show a tooltip in game for the shurikens. I'd assume anything they do would similarly inherit the int scaling of Summon Skeletons.

I suppose 1.3 is much more fun than 1.2 through the data of 1.2 trailer and overview video on youtube is better than 1.3 a lot. The 1.2 contents are more for building a new basic frame of gameplay (no much impression on new uniques in 1.2 because the best one is exclusive drop for uberroth or melee builds).
The amount of new unique items which let me hyped is much more and 1.3 just cooked 4 months. (It's the most in history. 1.3 is more than 1.1 on this area, I bet)

I'm wondering if the new Lich passive node, Corrupted Form (prevents you from having current health or ward above 50% of your maximum health) works like Petrified Blood in PoE, where you get overleech since your life never recovers to 100%. Does it work like that, or do leech effects get altered to be removed at 50% health?
I'm not sure if I can provide that (or where to even look to find it). I see that LETools has a minions page with stats for other item granted minions, such as bees, so maybe once they have datamined the 1.3 build that info might be added there.

Yes, it works like Petrified Blood, so it effectively gives you overleech, since leech is removed at 100% by default or 66% with another passive.

Both the Passive Tree and Skill Tree menus can now be navigated with either the directional pad or the left analog stick.
No sure what it mean without pictures because they're available in wheel panels only before 1.3.

That refers to navigating the nodes of the tree. Previously it inconsistently used dpad for one tree and left stick for another. Now, you can use either dpad or left stick for any tree.

By default yes, but you could rebind it to a button in the input settings if you wanted.

Primal Resonance specifies "When you use Swipe" so I don't think it would happen on your bear's casts of swipe.
Leech no longer heals with that node. I think the "drain" word is flavor. It basically becomes a DoT aura.
If Flay is converted to only cast blood eruption, does nodes that let flay recast a spectral version, recast blood eruption? Or does the node just not work?

Fangs of the berserker increases the effect of frenzy, im curious does this also increase the effects while having frenzy? You'll be fine (there is the illusion of "mortality" therefore the toucan is a lich pretending to be a mortal bird.)

DoTs don’t interact with armor normally so it’s the former
If you have 50% armour mit to dot and have 80% Dr from armour you get 40% dot DR

While i like the game, have fun playing it and like the game systems and how they are designed - i notice myself becoming "tired" or "bored" with longer gaming sessions whereas I don't notice a similar "fatigue" when plain PoE1/PoE2 or even Diablo 2 i think.
When watching the new season Trailer, and something i also noticed ingame and might be in relation to this is, that most of the skills sound very similar - there is always that bit higher pitched "cut" sound whereas in PoE/PoE2 each skill sounds atleast a bit different, bringing you also variance in terms of sounds (and i guess its also called kill feedback)
So my question would be, is there something like a sound overhaul planned for any future update?

Envenomed Prey’s required ailment can now be converted by cold conversion or lightning conversion. If lightning converted, it grants 3% more hit damage per stack of shock (instead of the typical 1% per stack).

primordials are still uniques. all the uniques have been datamined on most/all of the third party sites if you want to see if anymore are coming to s3. other than that yeah im sure there are plans for lotsof new uniques, they justarent coming in s3

Such as Overkill leech, leech rate or Healing Effectiveness?

How far does "using your tree" work for minions that use the players tree? Because in theory, the Scorpion's Maelstroms can cause Storm Bolts. Will that use my Gathering Storm tree and the Scorpion's stats? The Scorpion can cause large Avalanche boulders. Will that summon Coldstone Elementals? Will that trigger Upheavel, and use my tree and the scorpion's stats? Can that trigger Earthquake?

Rokuro, the continuous damage is not considered a DoT, it is is reflect damage and you can't really scale it in any way other than getting more reflect.

That's the crux of my question though since LETools is not official and can have mistakes or missing info. Every other version of wraith ability is listed as hit, but putrid's poison bolt suspiciously doesn't have either is a hit or is not a hit. /tinfoilhat
Poison Bolt has been around for a while and I'm pretty sure it was never a hit. Unless they changed it in this patch, it seems like it probably won't be
I actually find it pretty annoying because the first time I played Wraiths I thought it would be a great way to do ailments, but since it's not a hit, it really only gets what's listed
Hope it's an oversight then. That really locks out many synergy off wraiths and you get penalized for taking putrid 🫠
Poison hits don't exist in LE. If it doesn't have any other type of damage (none are shown on any website) it won't be a hit

If you mean Inheritance of the erased it should give it to all minions no matter if they're temporary or permanent afaik. Do you have an example of a minion that it doesn't work on? I'll see if I can test it.

Im going to ask this again because previously it gotten a bit lost in the patch notes noise. Previously the roadmap included a note on a transmog system, in which we will be able to more properly customize our characters looks.
I assume this will bring salvaged and existing armor libraries onto a neat UI similarly to how some other games do it, maybe even with coloration.

Hi, i don't understand why you guys use this stupid wording of GGG they made year ago and not change it to the way its should be "you gain 1 ward per 1% uncapped poison resistance per point." uncapped is before resistance is capped and after that its overcapped !
Uncapped means how much you would have if it had no cap
so if I have 114% total fire resistance, my uncapped fire resistance is 114%
My actual fire resistance would still be 75%, since it's capped.

No ! that overcapped because resistance base value is 75% so since this apply to all resistance after 75% that is overcapped and not uncapped
Overcapped = the numbers after the 75% cap
Uncapped = your total with no cap
Undercapped = under 75%
(Just because one game uses different words doesn't mean this one has to. Adapt.)

Because your actual resistance does cap at 75%, so it would be more confusing. Once you know that uncapped means what you would have if it weren't capped it's pretty clear in my opinion and leaves no to very little room for confusion. on LEtools raptor is listed as having 2 melee attacks, one which attacks faster, does more damage, and has a bigger aoe, and one which does not have those attributes.
does the raptor actually use both of these attacks? if so, does it have some cadence at which it alternates or just kinda randomly choose one?
Any AI run minion or enemy uses the same general logic for using multiple abilities. It has a priority list of abilities. It starts at the top of the list and if it find a valid target and is off cooldown then it uses the ability. This means that abilities with no cooldowns are usually last in the list as a "fallback". If one of them has a cooldown, that one is probably at the top and it will try to use it first.

I'm not really a minion guy, but I am seeing some concern about how "little" minions have been updated/changed/empowered for this upcoming season (I'm hearing mostly about skeleton minions). Is that on your radar? It's a bit odd considering how much of s3 seems to be focused around both lich and necromancer touch-ups. Maybe their worry is premature? 🤷
trex is a minion. I don't know if we make the distinction anywhere really. It doesn't decay and is just as permanent as any other manually summoned minion. You can check interactions with it and existing effects by using the relic which gives you a crossbow minion or the off hand which gives you various minions.
I'm not sure, it's probably based off of an enemy so it has different base stats to apply buffs to.
It's unfortunate that the Summon Skeleton Icon was used in that patch teaser video as it set some expectations up higher for direct skill tree changes. I will continue to push back on this rhetoric though.

the base slam itself doesn't deal any fire damage. It's melee physical.

Feels like it was an accidental tooltip description addition when they added the ailment requirement conversion given the lack of recognition it was given in the patch notes for how significant a nerf it is for scorpion's niche in general

phantom grips give the forged weapons the stats from your gloves. not non-stat unique effects
the primordial blood proc isn't a stat. your forged weapons would get the armor, armor mit to DoT application, chance to bleed, and any legendary affixes you slam onto it, but the other 3 unique modifiers would not apply
Ailment conversions are stats that FWs can inherit, but idk what happens when you get over 100%. You could equip a Maehlin's Hubris and find out I guess. They would not get the bleedsplosion though, true.
Regarding the "Whetstone Gavel" it says [if you have exalted weapon in your offhand its stats have (90-100)% increased effectiveness] when it says "Stats" is it the base stat of the weapon or the affixes themselves?

No, "when damage leaves you below half health" means that an instance of damage (hit or tick of a DoT) needs to move you from above 50% to below 50%. Health drain from the various low life items & passives won't work, nor would damage taken while below 50%.

If an enemy hits you and does say 200 damage to your ward will that count as a hit that leaves you below half health thus summoning the revenant even though it did no damage to your hit points

Still no because your HP was 20%. For the node to proc your HP would have had to be above 50% before you took damage & under 50% after you took damage. If the HP drain levelled out at a smidge above 50% & you took a hit that took your HP (not ward+HP, purely HP) below 50% then yes that node would proc.
That goes against how the wording on the node is
It says if a hit leaves you below 50% not if it reduces you below 50%
Hence why I asked her hoping to get an answer from Mike or Muffin or one of the other devs
TBF, that section of the node hasn't changed in 1.3, so you could test it with an exsanguinous/last steps/etc on live.

TLDR, it doesn't. Unless they changed the mechanics of the node without changing the wording then taking a hit while your hp is less than 50% (but you have ward) doesn't summon a Revenant

They will overwrite existing fissures, they cause you to recast, they don't actually cast it themselves

The Dev Blog hinted at Rift Beast drops, which makes the most sense anyway.
Not all Primordial Unique items are purchased from Skarven however, so do keep your eyes open when fighting powerful Rift Beasts.

No they have the patch data that they datamine. The only reason something wouldn't be accurate is either due to a bug (unlikely since it successfully did get a skill with a matching description) or it being outdated information, both of which are pretty unlikely in this case.

If I have the normal Increased Area for Area Skills on my gloves(Stats on this item also apply to your minions), would they also convert the Increased Area for Area Skills to More Damage? Or does it have to be specifically the Increased Area for Area Minion Skills?

The tooltip is very literal. It's specifically only the "increased Area of Effect for Minion Area Skills" stat on the summoner (you) that grants them more damage.

Yes, the mana is only granted if you directly use Harvest. Doesn't work with procced Harvest (e.g. thru Chaos Bolts)
I think it functions mechanically the same (like how Eternal Arrow is basically just Heartseeker), but since it doesn't specifically state that it uses your skill tree (like Bear + Earthquake does), then specializing Hungering Souls would not affect the Devouring Souls cast by your Abomination.
1.2 was super smooth actually - there was an issue though that caused a point of congestion with a ton of people logging back in after a required server kick for one one our very early hotfixes.
(which wasnt an issue at time of launch as it was related to the mass kick part)

Hello, I was wondering how minion vs conpanion scaling works. I'm planning on playing around with totem upheavel sabertooth next season and have seen the the upheavls scale with + minion. Do all the nodes in beast master the mention + damage for companion get included in that calculation? For example when I get aspect of the shark and my companion gets it too, will that damage get calculated over into the upheavel damage?

No, companion is a specific subclass of minions (as are totems). So things that affect companions only apply to your sabertooth, things that say totem only apply to the upheaval totem, and things that say minion apply to both.
And since Upheaval Totems even though they are procc by Saber, are in fact summoned by you
So they dont inherit any stats from the Saber
all companions are minions, but not all minions are companions
so +companion damage applies only to companions
but +minion damage applies to all minions

We did it that way to combine all 3 stats into 1 line. We could have done
- Harvest has +5s CD
- Direct uses of Harvest deal 150% more damage
- Direct uses of Harvest have 50% more area of effect
and it would be the same effect.

Your companions are Wolves, Bears, Sabertooths, Raptors, Scorpions or Spriggans. Nothing else.

Your sabertooth can proc upheaval and if your upheaval is converted to totem mode, it can proc upheaval totems.

Every 0.5 seconds you Blind all enemies facing you and deal Damage to them equal to your Damage Reflected to Attackers stat
Unless I'm missing something here the "enemies facing you" requirement sounds really annoying with lizards that run away from you and look in the opposite direction all the time, lol. Not impossible obviously because the timer before they leave is very generous, plus they do stop running eventually, but still. Plus they never attack you, meaning your Damage Reflected to Attackers stat will never do anything unless you're playing one of the (very limited number of) skills that can scale direct damage off of that stat (Shield Throw.. and IDK what else).

That is the correct wording
It is true damage. The instance doesn't last 0.25 seconds, it lasts however long a leech stacks would last without the node, the tickrate of the damage is just 0.25s.
All modifiers will act identically to how they would without the node, but instead of healing for the amount you would. You deal it as damage. It doesn't interact with any kind of increased damage or modifiers directly (but obviously dealing more damage means you leech more, making it deal more damage).
Hollow lich applies to all types of leech, but I'm unsure if it would apply to leech from a skill tree. I'd wager on no but I've been surprised more than once recently lol.
So, technically speaking, it turns leech into a % more multiplier that does damage over time? Cause if you do 100 damage and leech 5%, that's 5 damage, so essentially a 5% more damage multiplier.
I assume Overkill Leech and Leech Rate act as multipliers for that modifier?

Dancing strikes gets cool down recovery speed from attack speed as well as more damage. So you just wanna stack as much attack speed as possible. Cool down recovery rate would help after that. I doubt your cool down can get shorter than the cast time of the skill but I guess it might be possible with enough attack speed, would need to graph it out

I put a 10s timer and manage 12 attacks... That means the real cd is 0.8
And attack speed doesn't change anything as intended.

Currently upper monoliths need more stability to unlock bosses than lowers. This progression makes sense in normal monoliths, but not as much in empowered. Unless upper monoliths are harder than lower?

Rift Beasts aren't supposed to be some pinnacle level content from how they've shown them off. More like Nemesis encounters. I wouldn't imagine anything much more mechanically complicated than them since you're going to be running into them fairly frequently

Did have a question, does the passive tree node that buffs the effect of aspects on companions work for aspects that are gained outside the passive tree such as aspect of the spider and aspect of the panther?
There is also a passive node for aspect of the shark that sounds like it is giving MORE aspect effect as opposed to increased but it doesn't specify that it's multiplicative like the 'more' text usually was so i'm wondering if you know if that's a multiplier on aspect effect or additive with other sources

We have new primordial belt which gives 1% increased frenzy effect per 1 strength(there is no wording 'on you'). Would this then affect for example frenzy that is on minions? or for example amulet 'inheritance of the erased' which gives frenzy to minion? So minion has increased effect of frenzy too?

I just tested with absorbing 60 skeleton archers and 840% increased minion cooldown recovery speed and I couldn't get 2 of them to exist on screen for more than a split second.
I couldn't get more than 1 arrow to be hitting at once.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but it doesn't currently look like it's possible to have 2 at once.
Will the new loot filter sounds coming with S3 only let us choose from a few sounds provided by the game or also allow custom sounds?

It doesn't work on your minions. I'm not sure if it's because they don't have any strength or because it only applies to you but either way, your minions don't get an increased effect of frenzy per strength. Tested with 357 strength.

The description "Scales with your damage reflected to attackers stat, not with the actual damage that has been reflected to attackers." is kinda confusing me and I'm questioning whether this got added specifically to exclude Thornshell or not.

You can simulate trex interactions on the current game client by using the relic which grants you a crossbow minion as they function exactly the same.
Will the necklace swap between giving the buff between the trex minion and you bear or sabertooth companion or will it prioritize your companion.
They have no interaction. There is no conversion for Plague into a physical ailment.
The necklace don't know the term companions. It selects a random minion each time regardless of if they are a companion or not.
because the armor reduction scales off of dexterity it wouldn't appear in the ailment base. It does reduce armor.

Since we were not getting any replies i hunted down a thornshell shield for myself and resetted all my passives + unequipped everything except the shield, and the stat "damage dealt to attackers" does increase when i increase my attunement
So I would assume that yes, it does scale the damage from the Thicket of Blinding armor, which is awesome cus then i have definitely found a build that interests me (depending on how far the armor deals damage, it only says "all enemies facing you" so we will see)
Does swapping Detonating Arrow to cold with Frostfang Arrow cause Detonating Charge to also get converted?

Ah I wasn't sure if the reflect stat updated on the character sheet with Attunement and Thornshell, but when it does, it should work for the armor just fine.
I assume it's worded this way to exclude the %damage reflected stat then and only work with the flat reflected dmg to attackers stat.

Yes, Health and Mana gained on hit per 12% increased mana regen requires more than 0 increased mana regen to grant you health/mana. It's like if you had +1 health per strength. You would get 0 health if you had 0 strength.
Butcher's Crown does not set your increased mana regen stat to 0. It prevents mana regeneration.

Sorry just trying to figure it out: Detonating arrow has two parts to it, the embeds part (2 lightning damage) and the explosion part (also 2 lightning damage). When i read the Frostfang Arrow node it makes it seems like the conversion only happens to the embed part, which seems weird. Can you confirm that cold conversion works for both the embed part and the explosion part?

If you increase the charge speed of smelter's wrath by getting more area of effect on skills, does the increased charge speed reduce the effectiveness of the nodes for Smelters (e.g. Heavy Strike, Tempered blows, Stinging steel, Whetstone) which state something along the lines of "Smelter's wrath deals more damage (multiplicative with other modifiers) for each second channeled." -- because there's a node for smelter's wrath, Blacksmith's Breadth, that states "Smelter's wrath charges up faster to reach its maximum area sooner. This does not affect smelter's wrath's damage while charging."
I remember investigating this and I'm pretty sure you can find the answer by searching this channel. I'm pretty sure that all effects which scale off of the charging duration are really scaling off the charging % so if you shorten or lengthen the process it adapts but I can't remember.

Thanks for the quick reply, Mike. I had already done some due diligence before, to make sure it wasn't asked the same in the past. Glad you had done some investigations and remember them -- I just did a painful search through this discord channel for "charging" and came across two questions both by Misha about similar things related to Smelter's wrath, back in 2023. (#👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs message and #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs message)
There wasn't any clear answer to their questions regarding reduction of charge time / increased charge speed affecting dmg and not specifically from additions of AOE affixes/stats for smelter's. Their questions also did not address my question regarding the affect of charge speed reduction on those passive nodes I referenced that increase dmg per second that smelter's wrath is charged -- smelter's wrath was also changed since back then, so I wanted to clarify again... based on what you're saying though, it seems like even if we reduced smelter's wrath's max charge time from 2 seconds to 1 second, the "Heavy Strike" node which gives +25% more dmg per second, would still give the full 50% at full charge time of 1 second, rather than the generic 2 second max charge time?

you can pretty easily test that with the soldering strike node. put one point in it and see if it applies 2 ignites or 4
Not sure if all the nodes work the same though, but after testing with this node and AOE, increased charge speed DOES REDUCE the effectiveness of channeled per second soldering strike node 🙁
That matches with how I remember the behavior. The nodes that say per second channeled care about the actual time channeled.
For what it's worth, the skill was recently updated in S2, and I think the patch notes are pretty clear that only the base effect scales with charge % and all other effects scale with actual time spent channeling:
The baseline effect now grants more damage based on charge, up to 100% more damage at maximum charge (from 50% more hit damage per second spent charging). This means that reducing your charge time will no longer reduce the benefit received from this effect. Effects in the tree which are “for each second chanelled” remain unchanged.
Does Carrion of Creation only convert global ignite, poison etc. chances to bleed chance, or also conditional ones like from specialization trees?

Can be reforged set affixes (items do not change to set rarity with these, they just count for the set bonus).
I think the confusion stemmed from how both reforged set and exalted affixes have custom logic in their item coloring and rarity condition for ease of matching in filters and stash priority, which makes them seem like rarities, but they are not actual rarities. For non-unique items, rarity is just a count of non-sealed affixes. (0 = common; 1-2 = magic; 3-4 = rare)

Parts of each will work.
Thornshell's increased reflect per attunement won't transfer over and even if it did, your Manifest Armor has 0 attunement so it wouldn't do anything anyways.
Thicket's damage per phys res won't transfer over.
Thicket's damage every 0.5s won't transfer over.
Same with more damage reflected to bosses and more armor vs blinded.

If that design change wasn't listed in the patch notes then it's probably not coming. One of the downsides to orbiting hammers is they hit things and vanish. Some walls are exceptions to this like the walls on Harton's ship but most walls should make them pop.

In the settings you can turn off the automatic drinking of potions you pick up when your belt is full and you are below full HP. It's either on or off.

It doesn't matter what the ability tags are by default. All that matters is what the tags are when the ability is used.
Question about the node "Hollow Lich": if i have 4% spell damage leeched (lich node), 5% hit damage leeched (lich node) and then 2% of bleed damage leeched (valdyr), would it give (4+5+2)x6=66% increased generic damage?
Or it would only consider each type of leech for each type of damage? So in that case, a melee hit would only get 5x6=30% increased damage, then the bleed 2x6=12%

so i was theory crafting a poison skeleton army build for s3 and I feel the skele army is still underwhelming to its counterparts and everyone that plays necro knows they just want a bunch of minions smashing content. and the skeleton rogues just dont quite have enough poison chance and ive tried a item [serpant's milk] which makes no since why you would make it 200% poison chance on minion hit and [90%] overall less damage to minion poison dmg. it seems to makes the item pretty much useless in the game. maybe i dont see it but 500k+ to 60k is there a reason why this item hasn't been returned to maybe retuned? surely being s3 seems to be minion season it might give love to necro diversity builds being i see no minion army builds being anywhere new S-B tier.
Poison skeleton rogues is one of the top necro builds in S2 and is only getting buffed in S3.
Serpent's milk is not intended for scaling poison minions at all - it's a little dated, but it's mostly used for minions that convert poison chance to something else like frostbite, common in primalist.

Booted up the game in offline on current patch to test, and it at least on this current version of the game, doesn't scale at all with attack speed and has a hard capped animation time that can't be reduced.
Which makes sense as that's what the tooltip states.
What's weird though is that even with 0 cooldown on Dancing via cheats the animation is so long that there's no difference in speed beyond like 45% CDR at all.
If that functionality is intentional, then honestly that skill is quite a bit worse than I imagined even after the "buff" next patch. As all it would mean is you can free up one affix slot on boots/belt.
It is the same with net skill. Net is supposed to scale on Attack speed but it doesn't because of animation caps it with a very low amount of att speed around 50%.

Hi guys, i was wondering about the new bleed conversion for Aura of Decay with the Blood Font node. Do the self inflected bleeds scale in any way except with bleed duration ? Cause it feels like even a few dozens of bleeds are far from being dangerous with physical res cap if they only do their base 53 damage each.
they do scale with your stats, thats why aura of decay gives you 50% less dmg taken from your own aura of decay and has the less poison dmg taken node which converts to less physical dmg taken with blood font.

I will add that reflect is true damage, it bypass the 90% damage reduction monsters have at lvl 100, so when comparing numbers with classic skill damage, you have to take this x10 factor into account.

They all are multiplied by your overall effect of frenzy multiplier.
The one that says "magnified" instead of "improved" is the only negative effect, so they probably wanted to avoid saying improve when it means you're taking more damage.

Yes, any tree that is changed to the point the previously allocations would no longer be valid: class, skill, or weaver.
In Death Seal's tree, the conversion nodes Frozen Form and Corporeal Cascade don't specify that they swap the Necrotic tag out for the respective Cold or Physical tag.
As a result, in LEPlanner, taking Frozen Form doesn't cause Death Seal to count as a Cold Spell for e.g. getting +1 to Cold Spells from the Invoker's Set 3-set bonus.

I'm not super familiar w/ the nuances of Forged Weapons so I asked one of the designers and this is what they said:
The stats won't be doubled for Forged Weapons or Manifest Armor, as special properties don't apply to them
They also don't wear equipment even if they inherit stats from equipment. So they can never have an offhand weapon even if they did get the property

It will get the relevant tag (cold or physical) and scale based on that tag instead of necrotic.

Daylight savings time shenanigans. Some people mentioned the timestamps were showing an hour off where they were located. EHG lists the times as Central US, which is currently in daylight savings CDT -5 UTC. While Central standard CST is -6 UTC.
Here, I tried to make discord timestamps, but due to daylight savings shenanigans this may be slightly off where you are:

No, that can summon skeletons without the skill on your bar. Generally, effects that proc skills don't require the skill to be on your bar.

The Avalanche nodes behind Mountain Peak (including Crater) do not affect the single Avalanche boulder that Scorpion can proc, because those all rely on the channeled cast and the scorpion is not casting/channeling your Avalanche skill, it is just spawning a single large boulder specifically. The rest of the Avalanche tree that change large boulders or do things when large boulders hit work with Scorpion procced Avalanche boulders.

You can imprint anything that fits in the slot, but imprints can only generate items that can drop anywhere - so if the particular primordial is a random drop, then yes (I don't think any are though).
A lot this isn't a bug, they're projectiles. They disappear when they hit something.

No, you need to complete the set to get the "per complete set" stats. So with Legends Entwined, you need to wear 2 of a 3 part set to complete it.

Is Fleeting Shade meant to have a net value of zero? Unless I'm wrong, end result of something * 0,4 * 2,5 is ... the same thing you started with 🤔 It only makes your shade duration shorter so it could be argued that you can refresh shade sooner, but in reality shades are either made permanent for pets, popped with Chthonic Fissure or made to last for Baneful and Torment Beacon. Am I missing something?

they're not meant as damage nodes, they have damage to make up for reduced duration (since that's also reduced damage)

I ordered the alt text screenshots them based on how the stats/effects combine:
All sources of the Damage Reflected to Attackers stat are added up, then any sources of "increase" to that stat (i.e. Thornshell) are combined and multiplied to this value and the result is your character sheet Damage Reflected to Attackers value.
Thicket of Blinding Light deals your character sheet value of the Damage Reflected to Attackers stat every 0.5sec to enemies facing you.
Thicket separately multiplies any form of reflect damage when it's dealt to bosses/rares (flat from being hit, % from being hit, or the auto damage every 0.5sec) due to the more damage reflected to bosses/rares modifier.

Hey Mike, in the Marrow Shards Tree the node Marrow Hunger gives you 9% 'Physical Leech' - how is that recorded on the stat sheet? is it 1 stat line as is reads, or is it recorded as 9% Melee Physical leech + 9% Spell Physical leech, etc? Wondering if it double (or more) dips with the Hollow Lich passive..
You have mentioned before to look at the ones still missing skills like bladedancer to be the more likely targets, but would this also include rogue as base class since others have 8-9 skills unlocked with character level and 4 skills unlocked with base passive tree.
Meanwhile rogue has 7 and 3 skills in those categories respectfully.

tl;dr no, it doesn't double dip.
Most stats in LE can have one or more tags applied, such as melee, spell, physical, fire, etc. A stat with multiple tags is not multiple instances of the same stat, but just a single value with a set of flags that must be matched for that stat to apply. +9% Physical Leech is just +9% Leech but with a Physical tag so it only heals when you deal physical damage. Hollow Lich doesn't care about the tags of the leech stat you have, just how much total leech stat you have of any tag (besides minion, because that's not your leech).
Does cooldown reduction affect passive skill? For example, Lagon's Answer in Shaman passive tree.

it's not like 100% is unattainable either way (you'll want the +1 skeleton threshold) but idk if im reading too much into it but it speaks to a strange view of the power of that effect & balancing in general.
to be worth a T8 slot it would probably need to reduce the delay to 1 or 2 seconds not just give 100% and some minion life

Purely the more damage mod on the item itself, reflect damage does not scale with any other damage stats as it bypasses all DR
That's what I figured but I wanted to be sure before I put Oceareon into my build and scaled shock chance.
Either way it does over a million damage so it's fine by my standards

Same Question for Death Seal Skill from Lich which reads [...]While sealed you take less damage equal to half your percent missing health, and 90% of hit damage taken is dealt over 4 seconds.
Does this Damage dealt over 4 seconds qualify as Damage over Time at all or is this a different kind of mechanic?

I have a question regarding the Lich passive node Instruments of Death. The tooltip says:
“You have increased movement speed with a dagger equipped...” and lists +10% movement speed.
If I dual wield two daggers, do I receive the bonus twice (i.e. +20% total)?

Penance in profane veil scales off of % relfected but I can't find a single thing which either increases that damage or is otherwise derived from it
With Truesight Glass is the 100%-140% crit requirement global crit or just the skill? So will shadow daggers only need 40% and any melee skill within gladiators oath only need 40% to hit that cap?

I meant more in a literal sense. You need to reach 140% total critical strike chance from all sources combined. So yes a skill with 100% base crit would only need 40% increased

There is some problem with DS. It is not capped just bugged. I made some tests
Online without cdr 12move per second and 17with 90%cdr
Offline 16moves per second without cdr and 21with 60% cdr.
The only number that is in adequation with the displayed cdr is the 16moves per second offline
Someone else did the same tests and had totally different numbers offline much higher than me
Online DS will be unplayable for the majority.

The fixed animation speed for Dancing Strikes is causing some issues. It is something we've had on our list to develop a way to make it variable for a while. We didn't focus much on Rogue this patch.
Question re: paladin smite. Does the additional mana cost for descend also increase trigger costs or is it only when you direct cast?
It should apply regardless, it's the same style as Unbalanced Scale's mana cost addition.

So, the ailment Doom Brand triggers an ability when it expires. The ability Doom Brand was buffed to be 80/400.
Unfortunately in looking this up I've just found a bug so this won't be in the patch. The ailment Doom Brand is mistakenly triggering the ability Soul Blast instead. That ability has 21/100 so it's half as good as listed and wasn't given a 2x buff so it's 1/4 as powerful in the end.
Edit: In investigating this, it looks like Doom Brand previously was doing 42/200 as it had a hidden 2x buff. We have a fix for this that will make its way into an early patch post Season 3 launch. Basically Doom Brand will be 1/2 what it was before for a little bit and then get its full 2x buff (which is 4x from where it will be at S3 launch).
In LEtools the base damage of blood eruption is shown as 2 with 200% effectiveness. Is that correct?
Flay gets 2 physical damage per Dex does that get converted if you convert flay?
Does blood eruption inherit it?
short version: this doesn't work.
long version: the stat line on Harmony which scales the stats on the weapon is an independent stat which is not passed down to forged weapons. A more precise version of the stat would be something like: You gain stats equal to x% of the other stats on this item for each non-idol magic item you have equipped.
Even if the stat were passed down, your forged weapons don't have any other items equipped to scale. They also don't have a weapon equipped with stats on it to scale.
