I have a question about something.
We can play the game in "Full Offline" meaning our character saves are on our PC and anything that happens to them doesnt affect the online version.
Would it be an option to be able to play the game in LAN with your friends ?
Being able to do that offline would help a lot with testing out stuff in various situations etc and maybe even be able to customazie offline version to add fun mods and stuff like that.

very little, you can access social features in offline mode but can't in full offline mode. Also full offline mode doesn't do an auth step so you can play on an airplane or the middle of the woods if you want.

ehhh, whether or not it's acceptable is a moot point. time machines don't exist and we're here now. Software launches are hard, even for non game applications. These things happen, and we can either vote with our wallets and refund the game, or move on and observe how the incident is handled. There's pretty good comms in #news. I've definitely seen worse launches with less communication.

Usually it's a tiny component no one thought could break, or it is something "outside their control" (they might be sending too many requests to a 3rd party service which is not handling things well). It sucks - no doubt. Especially if you took PTO, or made other adjustments to attempt to win the race. My suggestion as an old man who has been in and around technical support for years and years is solve the stability problem, get all the players playing and then make a decision about the race. Maybe they have an abridged cycle 1 and start a new race in a month. Maybe they do something else - they have a million options but that can't worry about the rac eintegrity and get all of their million+preorders playing the game at the same time. The bandwidth just doesn't exist.

I don't know the full process. I know we had to be very careful to be GDPR compliant so we have to be able to do full nukes of your data easily. You can't make multiple characters of the same name but the names aren't what we use as a unique identifiers.

Not sure if this info might help the devs, but if you get stuck loading an exit door in town, you can go to the teleport circle while it's stuck on "Entering...", choose a previous zone, and then it takes you through the door you were stuck on.

a falconer class is actually something that Judd (game director) submitted to a class design contest for D3 way back before it even came out. So it was fated to be added at some point. I think it had a different name and doesn't actually work the same at all.
