If you use the Falconer Net skill and take both Acrobatic (longer jump, gets traversal tag) and Bold Throw (doesn't jump) does the skill just not move you but still counts as traversal?
If you add on Trickster Artist (caltrops dropped 'after' jumping) does it still drop anything if Bold Throw removes the jump?

When in a party, I was under the impression that everyone in the party got the same boss specific uniques whenever you kill the boss, and that they rolled identically. But I myself haven't tested this and I've now been told that lp rolls individually, is this true?

Set items are not getting reworked for 1.0, we don't know about any new uniques for 1.0 yet, they'll likely be revealed during hype week, but maybe not.

Does Explosive trap "Arrow Traps" work with "Impact Trigger"?
If the interpretation here is correct, arrow traps would need arming time so that it detonates the other traps with the DA proc, but Impact Trigger removes arming time (explodes instantly)

The term is not a reference to nazi anything. You aren't on earth in the future in the game. This should be taken in context of the game. The iconography that the game uses to reference the black sun is completely different than the iconography that the nazis used. There are very clearly no nazis in Last Epoch. I never thought I'd have to say that, but here we are.
You also are fighting against the black sun so even if it was some nazi reference, wouldn't it be a good thing that you're trying to defeat it?
On top of that, even if it was a reference to anything in the real world, the black sun as a concept dates back way farther than the nazis and has been used more recently by positive organizations too.
It's a crime syndicate in the Star Wars universe. It's the first stage of the alchemical magnum opus. There is some medical sensor that works on the "black sun" phenomenon. It's some communications agency too. The nazi use of it was also coopted from old Norse and Celtic cultures. This is something that was here before them and will continue to be here afterwards.
So, can you draw a coincidental naming connection between them? Yes. Does it mean anything at all? No.

Ok Mike this is probably a silly question but when this node says "Enemy hits you" is that only for Melee hits or through the Magic of Etera and the Shard of the Epoch any enemy hit ranged/spell etc.? would cause the Explosive Trap to attach to you?
If I change the zone , or use a town portal while having the 2 perma flame wraith summoned, they will get resummoned ( randomly ) with a chance of being flame or not.

For the press the attack node, it also says "and hitting at least one enemy" but I was asking because it sounded like direct use vs non-direct use
Well bleeding fury also stacks to 3 times, so you can get 3 stacks in one cast this way, if it was worded as "attacking with puncture and hitting at least one enemy" then you'd need 3 seperate attacks, each hitting at least one enemy

I think sometime earlier today the new revealed mastery nodes aswell as skill nodes on the maxroll page were updated. This included a hefty mana nerf for explosive traps as well as the removal of the trap detonation mana gain mastery. Is this the new skill tree that will be launched? And why have there been undocumented changes to the skills? Kinda destroyed my Explosive Trap Builds ^^

When you buy an item from MG, it gets the MG tag.
Items with a MG tag can't be sold through MG.

No, you cannot make a legendary with conflicting tags - just like you can't combine a mage helm and primalist helm

No, the items keep any tags they have. Giving an untradable item to a MG players still keeps it untradable.

Hello, is there a way to rebind the "hold position / stand still" hotkey in any way ? (shift key by default) I can't find it in the change input keys menu
if it's not in that menu then you'd have to do the change outside the game

I enjoy the class, though most builds out there call for the time reversal skill which refunds your mana and it just seems very clunky and is a very much a one hit wonder type of class for offence wise.

There is Solo Account Found (same as PoE SSF) and Solo Character Found (no shared stash). You cannot trade nor gift in the solo modes.

So Swarm Strike doesn't have the Damage Over TIme tag but it says in the description that it creates an area that deals damage over time. Does the "swarm" scale with damage over time and only the initial swing doesn't? Or do neither scale?

Dumb question to the devs. Will there be a cut scene or will you speed up the ability to enter a town or new area? Many of us playing in a group are getting a little frustrated with the "Lag" for a better term when we enter a new land or port back to town and if we click in the wrong area on the new scene we get ported back and don't realize it until the area reloads. really curios thanks..

When you're in a party, entering a new zone requires a new server to spin up. We have been working really hard to get that time down as much as possible but it's not going to be as fast as the solo experience because that can load the new zone in place on the same server.

quick question regarding progression. Last time i played the Beta. i was able to get to max level by the end of the Beta campaign. With official 1.0 launch i assume the campaign will be much larger. will leveling (XP gains) be slowed to match the new pace of the story?

I don't know how long ago that was, more than 4 years though for sure. Because there's zero chance you got to level 100 on the campaign that ended at like level 55. The campaign currently ends at maybe level 60, and it isn't expanding at 1.0, there's an entire endless endgame.
How does falcon's "Rending Talons" work with "chance to bleed on melee hit", does it inherit that or say "chance to bleed on bow hit"?
Also in falcon's "Trained to hunt" does global mean damage sources that effect everythign such as "bow damage" or it pulls globally from all sources of bow damage?

Question! Does "Ballista" from the Sentinal Hammer Throw Tree scale ignite / dot damage. The skill reads "Hammer Throw Deals More Damage (Multiplicitive with other modifiers) and cost less mana. Mike for many of us long term avid gamers offical launch days are some of the most exciting days of the year but also tend to be full of fustration due to unanticipated bugs, unpredicated "player" volume,etc. While I appreciate anything "can" happen, any overall confidence level regarding if players may experience sitting in a queue or server capacity issues etc? Fully appreciate it was beta but i'm sure you remember the joys during the last full wipe. Sitting there for 9 hrs side by side my wife while she could play and i could not while we both took days off work wasn't enjoyable. But if memory serves that was some werid bugs and obviously you guys have came a long ways. So again main question is any chance we are sitting in queue to play the game on launch day?

The issue that happened last time was actually the matchmaking server having issues. It was so frustrating to watch the empty servers just sitting there begging for players and players just sitting there begging for servers. We do our best not to make the same mistake twice.

Unseen Strike from Shift, says "if you using a melee weapon to proc", is normal Shift trigger this with a bow, or a bug ???
I think that's just funny wording, it does the same animation and usage with any weapon type, it just needs a melee weapon to use Unseen Strike
Asking why the instant kill by Unseen Strike is activating with Shift even when equipped with a bow, hence my doubt

Last Epoch needs to be set as the game you're playing when the stream starts for the bot to detect it, switching to it even a few minutes in won't work.

That series has been long discontinued for quite a while now. All the packs go through steam now. The new Deluxe and Ultimate editions that we just launched a few weeks ago are upgradable from the base game. The supporter pack bundles in the cosmetic store are not consecutive so they don't contain the elements of the other packs and aren't upgradable between them just from a conceptual standpoint.

do the devs know how buggy ranger actually is ? single-target skills (ranged (bow)) does often hit through enemys without doin any damage, you have to move always before you hit the target again - super annoying, had that a year ago + already and it is still not fixed.

Bindable to a toggle button for either "Hold to show" or "Press to toggle on/off" key.

you can get all of these for explosive trap, but depending on the order of operations the final mana cost comes out very differently

You picked your reward when you picked what echo you would all do. They didn't get a choice in selecting the echo with its reward, so they get a random choice upon completion.

It is a server rule - do not ping EHG Devs. A second time will result in a mute, further in a ban.
It sounds like you're referring to "off-screening", where you can hit enemies with projectiles off-screen. This is partially limited by map layout, and our projectiles also tend to be limited to not go much further than the furthest edge of the screen (top right due to isometric view).

I'm wondering why the Sentinel's Hammer Throw tree doesn't have any nodes for area. Are there any plans for making the hammers bigger or what was the reason to keep them the size they are? Just my personal preference, but I understand if this is the way it will be.
Are there any current plans/ideas to implement advanced tooltips (i.e. Storm Totem base damage, area affect, lighting cast speed). I hope im not overlooking something in game.
Because it's not an area of effect skill. We don't currently have any plans, but it's possible we could introduce some sort of unique that changes the hitbox size. The decision for the current size is balancing thematics, enemy hitbox interactions, and wall/doorway hitbox interactions. Bigger hitbox also means terrain eats them more.
Enhanced character information pages has been on our list for a while, it just hasn't come up in priority yet. It's coming ^tm.

This interaction already exists in dungeons and Arena of Champions. We don't have any specific plans for further options, but there are ways we're ok with implementing these kinds of mechanics. Echo modifiers and corruption are also technically a type of that mechanic.
Hey Mike are drop rate baselines changing for circle of fortune in 1.0 or is the current base drop rate staying the same before circle of fortune bonuses. And are trade ranks going to transfer from cycle to cycle?
Like interacting with an end game mechanic to increase difficulty and rewards? Like taking some optional action to make it harder and give you more rewards if you can do it?

Yeah Nere, I get what you mean... coming from PoE I'm used to having a lot more ways than just "enemies have more hp / damage" to modify the endgame content. I feel like they're positioned quite well to be able to add in additional mechanics to the monoliths system in the future though.

Mike, I have a slightly long winded question on Faction QOL - the vendors and the faction stuff are all located in Majelka, right, with no relevant NPCs in End of Time? How often will we have to go back to Majelka to load up on prophecies / lenses / whatever between echoes? How many echoes will we be able to run at a time with a stockpile of prophecies? How much is the walking time from porting to Majelka and getting to the CoF vendors / interactables?
Intent is just to understand how much downtime or friction this will bring to your typical monolith push gameplay
You can go straight to them instead of EoT so it's the exact same loading.
This was a concern we had while making the system and I think you'll find that you aren't going too much but we will be keeping an eye on feedback for this.

If you use a untradable exalt with a tradable unique, it becomes an untradable legendary.

I'm not sure how that node is worded (on mobile) but it sounds like it's the player damage sharing node.
Nodes like that are very precise and narrowly worded.
Damage stats are stats of the property damage. So, increased fire melee damage is a damage stat with the fire and melee tags.

Resonances don't care about, affect or interact with faction rank requirements. Resonances just ignore them but don't affect them either.

Is it possible that drop rate is an issue when balancing factions? Talking about loot is an important theme in an arpg and can be balanced in favor of CoF. Do you have some kind of panic button to increase the drop rate in MG if there is a serious faction imbalance?
They actually have addressed this exact question. The answer was yes, they can and will adjust the numbers if things are too far out of balance. IIRC they said they would be happy with 70-30 split in either direction.

You should be able to get to that key node like that. Each connection is set manually so we probably just missed that one.

No, if you start the game in offline mode, the game won't even try to make any calls to the Internet at all.
You can still play offline characters in online mode like we have now though.

If I have 1 shadow from another skill then use Synchronized Strike with Dark Allies node would I have four or five shadows? Logically to me it would make sense to go to five because one old shadow, then two from base sync strike hitting the max of three then two more that do not look at your maximum shadow count because Dark Allies says those 2 ignore your cap? We assume that would be the only way to hit 5 for On Wings of Shadow node Dive Bomb?

What are you unsure of? Experience gained goes up as you go to higher level zones. Experience goes down as you are more under leveled and as you are farther from the highest level person in the zone.

we know that tempest strike will scale with attack speed in 1.0, but seeing the tags it still has spell. so if you use it as a spell with the 2h staff node, or in general, with tempest strike swing faster with cast speed as well?
Just like it is now, it's a melee attack that triggers spells. So, it doesn't scale with cast speed (unless there's some unrevealed node that changes that).
this isn't so much a question as it is a tip of my hat, but i've just gotta say to whichever developer came up with the "Jahith Bear" teleporting bear homage to D2, that's one of the funniest / most clever little easter eggs i've ever seen in a game... well done.
I'm sure I've heard that the updates following 1.0 may (later down the line) contain additional spells and abilities for existing classes. I was recently wondering if this includes updates to existing abilities that involves, say, elemental conversions. I'd love to be able to turn Shatter Strike into lightning damage for a thematic build, as an example. If this ventures into the realm of a potential future unique item for those classes and abilities instead, I'd understand that as well.

Are there faction bonuses not shown in the video on trade and item factions? Because all of the Merchant's Guild ranks just show that you can now sell X at Y level. No other bonuses.

i've seen it mentioned, but not fully. The puncture skill tree uses (at least) 4 different wordings that seem to all exclude procced puncture (based on responses in this discord). I'd love to get this standarized as its hard to theorycraft with that kind of inconsistency. (see: penumbral ambush, bloodthirst, press the attack, rapid strikes, even stay the execution is unclear if that can be procced).

or in that case it counts as mana drained? The belt description says that mana is consumed, which is not clear
really hope that it's bugged, cause was hoping to use that stat for ward gen

i have that and i also went and got the bot and linked it to both my twitch and discord but it dosnt work all i can do is post my link like a normal link is there a setting or command i need to turn on or use

Yea. Current it's almost impossible to go over 50% taken since the mana drain is too much even with full mana gain focus with skills like runebolt or mana strike
Currently doing my hardest to make a leap quake build like I had in d3 but struggling a bit. Was curious from a dev standpoint what is the reason for capping some traversal skills so they can't have crazy low cooldowns like leap? I'm assuming it breaks things lol

As far as I know, the only requirement is that you need to have LE set as the game before the stream starts.

Any reason why you disabled the node "Dazed Prey", in Dive Bomb, instead of only removing the stun? Many builds could still use the node for the +80% more damage at the cost of a longer cooldown, even without the stun

"Hits with Puncture grant you Bleeding Fury" on Bloodthirst within Puncture, then "Net Traps now also use Puncture for you when they are triggered." on Spear Trap with Net. can't post the snip for some reason.
