Does item rarity increase chance to get rarer drops? I mean if i have 200 % item rarity vs 50 % item rarity i have higher chance to get ”very rare unique ” or is it just pure RNG ?

I don't believe we have a way of recovering it at the moment. We did just roll out a big server fix that targets the cases of rollbacks that we had been seeing up until now. I suspect that this is something different so a bug report would be very useful to help solve this (I think new) cause of rollbacks.

Relevant to server crash, are there plans to introduce ways for players to make sure they won't get rolled back? For example in PoE, your character inventory can get rolledback but if you put item into the stash, there is almost no chance of rollback. So people teleport back to hideout and put valuable items to stash right away.
(this is more of a technical curiosity to be honest as I am more curious when does LE writes to persistent storage 😅 )

Many of us feel that the drop rate of Exalted, Unique 3LPs and the like are higher than before, and online only. Have there been any changes since 0.8.5? and is there a difference between offline and online drop rates?

Drop rates are the same in online and offline modes. We did make some adjustments to exalteds to start dropping earlier in the game.

This is very relevant, because if you are for example doing the Level 80 Monolith with a Level 75 character you are still unable to get Level 76 or higher base types for example.

Hey lovely devs . i just started my summon fire minions build and i see my minions instatnyl drop life to 30% and then stay there. I have looked up my notes and none say degen. I am talking about skelli mages and bone golem. both drop to value x and then stay there even tho i skilled health regen and have flat on items. my characterinfo shows 0 Health regen. is there something i overlook?
How are self-inflicted ailments calculated, such as self-poison from aura of decay, or the self-ignite from Immolator's Oblation? Do they scale with your stats in any way? If they do not, do they gain the area level penetration that monsters get? Or are resistances just very effective against them?
the level at the top should be accurate, non-combat zones mean you can't use abilities.

Seem pretty badly designed, it keeps spawning Bees wich means one bee gets constantly despawned, which means they get in a hit or two then they are reset at players location.
I mean, they dont need the leech or HP boost since they get despawned before they can even die.

What are your thoughts on adding a press space bar to dodge type mechanic into the game. I’m asking because for me personally, it feels kinda bad that we have all these boss fights where movement is critical such that you’re more or less obligated to use one of your five ability slots to compensate via equipping a movement ability. I know shaman is getting some love in the next patch, but have you guys considered adding a legendary that drastically increases Lightning Bolt damage from all sources (passive talents and ability talents)? They have so many sources of lightning bolt it should be able to be a build on its own but its scaling is just too small and makes it hit like wet noodles. Anyways just a though

most monolith modifiers are clear (especially with the additional tooltip when holding alt). however, some don't provide the numbers, even when holding alt. how much do these modifiers scale numerically?
- Rare enemies have high speed and crit chance until approached
- how much speed? how much crit chance?
- what is considered "approached"? (eg nearby 5 meters?)
- Enemies have a chance to dodge
- how much dodge chance?
Does Piercing Heat passive and the fireball pierce affix on helmets stack together or is it 2 separate rolls for pierce?
we will be returning to a similar patch cadence from the 0.8.x set of patches. I am not prepared to put a duration on that.
sorry I don't have exact numbers on those. I'm pretty sure that they scale with corruption which is part of why they don't say exact numbers

Hey Guys, i got a Problem and hope somebody can help me. I always get stuck on loading screen when i try to port to a party member. I can hear the sound, the party member can see my char, i also can open the ESC-Menu. Does somebody know how to fix this?
well i hoped this problem is already known and there is a easy way to fix it. especially because it happens to me for the first time. but some days ago a friend of me had the same issue and a day later everything worked fine again.

I made a build around Apostacy and Corsair's Set (Apostacy converts Dodge to Glancing Blow, and Corsairs converts Glancing Blow or Block Chance) but it seems that Apostacy is being applied early and not taking some statistics (unless Lastepochtools is wrong). Example in link; the build has 145% Glancing chance but only 25% Block Chance because when hovering over Dodge Rating (not sure if that's got something to do with this), Apostacy is being applied before other dodge rating nodes, gear, dexterity, and Bladedancer mastery bonus (https://imgur.com/a/fpnOMCc).
Is this due to the order of calculations that I am missing significant Block Chance from this build (with noting that it has 25% Block chance and 145% Glancing Blow Chance despite the fact that the set should convert 100% of Glancing Rate to Block)?

As i know there is no possible way to create them more then 100% from node, but what if it's Mana strike that has 100% in node and Spellblade passive node (+25% chance on spark charge on melee and +5 melee lght dmg)

well, first off just in case, 100% increased critical strike chance (with no other modifiers) brings your crit chance from 5% to 10%, not to 100%.
You can however get your crit chance above 100%. This is generally not very useful though.

Harvest has no mention of hit in the description and it uses the double damage wording

if you cast Ring of Shields while Warpathing, this node doesn't seem to take effect. as it is now, if i'm warpathing, and i cast ring of shields, i have to stop warpathing, then restart warpathing for the node to take effect.

harvest double damage is different, it works like any other target dependent conditional effect. such as things like more damage to ignited enemies. this is not passed on.

If armor shred by default is 100 armor, and I have 200% armor shred effect, does that mean each stack of armor shred is for 120 armor instead of 100?

Increased armor shred effect increases the effect of armor shred by the percentage listed so 200% increased effect would make it 300 armor.
I haven't taken a close enough look at everything but I haven't seen any overly popular builds that are standing out so far that I wasn't expecting.
I guess a broad question, but what is the aim design for balanced skills. Cause some skills have a lot of damage multipliers: for example hammer throw or smite, but others have very few raw multipliers and a lot of conditional one's. For example ALL big damage multipliers on Javelin tree are conditional (enemy has to be high health, enemy has to be at max range, you have to be stationary etc). Is it like some fantasy design behind skills having most important damage multipliers on some skills being gated behind conditions or you are just testing things out

When applying a damage ailment such as bleed to enemies. When the stacks shown on the enemy are an accumulation of minion and player, in the background would each stack apply different “bleed” damage based upon any increases and then totalled when the tick damage shows?
In other words, would increasing just bleed damage apply to both minions and player?

Example: (according to tunklab) scalebane saboteur has a base lvl of 55, while skullen is a base lvl 1. when you encounter them in an empowered monolith at lvl 100, does the game give the same amount of scaling to them both(so the skullen would be baselvl1x100, but the scalebane is baselvl55x100) or is there a hidden lvl 1 version of scalebane that gets scaled to lvl 100 to keep them even? I ask because, it very much feels like the mobs encountered later in the campaign grow exponentially stronger than ones encountered early on

AFAIK, only one Smoke Bomb node allows generation of crimson shroud stacks on throwing attacks. Wish there were more ways in the BD passive tree too. I've sent a #suggestions-and-like-to-see on that matter.

the description for this node at the bottom of the serpent strike tree says it shreds poison resistance (actually "posion" resistance but that's less important) but the tooltip only shows armor shred and in testing it only seems to apply armor shred.

Hello, I have a question regarding Fire Aura. On the Lastepochtools website, it says Fire Aura has an added damage scaling of 70% but ingame with the Incinerating Aura passive in Spellblade tree, it says that Fire Aura has added damage effectiveness of 140%. Interestingly, the tools site also reflects this with 140% when looking at the passive. Does that mean that the effectiveness is specifically for this node? Or is one of these tooltips just incorrect? Thanks!
Does the "+(1-3) spell fire damage" from idol benefit the Fire Aura damage? I guess yes since it has Spell tag? How about ignite damage? I guess no?
We found out recently that Chill stacks are multiplicative with each other. Are there any other sneaky ailments like that? Doom is "4% inc melee dmg taken" for example -- is it 16% total for the 4 stacks, or multiplicative?

Fire Aura is unique in that it gains damage from added spell damage but is also a DoT, no other dot I know of has this benefit of added base damage which is why im trying to see how far I can get it if I make it my main damaging spell. Sorry I didnt see you say this earlier. I just want to know which number is correct however, 70 or 140? But to answer your question, yes it should (and the damage gain from using Fire Brand is very noticable so spell damage is being applied)
Do things like crit, dodge, reign of winter and herald of stars work as a roll with the displayed chance every time or is there an entropy system implemented to smooth out long lucky/unlucky streaks? From my experience it seems like it's just a straight up roll since I've had very long streaks of not triggering herald of stars but just wanted to make sure, thanks!

Back when i first started playing there was little difference between the damage types. So with ailments it has been neat to see them each coming into their own.
Cold-Improves cc
Fire- Improves skills
Physical Alements- Crit multi synergy
Damned-Skill based
Poison-Amplifies poison damage, but no hit
Void- TimeyWimey themes
With all this though are there any plans to add more hit themed ailments.
As Chill/Shock/Shadow Daggers/Poison make those elements stand out a bit more when they are doing hit damage, or poisons dot pools.
Freeze is not understable
Hello to you. Many players, including myself, don't understand how freeze works. Although I have a freze rate of 100, and 1200% freeze rate multiplayer with Bitter Winter on Bone Curse, I almost never freeze with lot of minions hit.
Is there a bug? Does it just not work anymore in Empowered because the enemies have too much HP?
Another question: if you play with other players, does the increase in HP of the enemies make the Freeze ineffective? That would be a shame, this ability becomes really useless.
100 with 1200% sounds pretty low, unless they reworked it this amounts to 1300freeze rate which is compared to enemy hp, so basically its like trying to stun a mono mob with 1300 damage hit...which is almost impossible

Each skill has a base freeze multiplier, think of it as "damage"
Every time you hit an enemy with it this "damage" is checked against the max life of the enemy - the chance to freeze is the %. Lets say you have 100 base freeze rate and you hit a 1000 hp enemy then your chance to freeze is 10% (1000/100=10%)
Freeze rate multiplier applies to your base freeze chance and increases it by the listed percent. In the abovementioned example a 250% increased freeze rate will increase the chance to freeze to 35%
The practical reason freeze is bad is because mobs have a ton of hp, more so in Multiplayer. You need to stack freeze rate on literally every piece of your gear to be able to reliably freeze enemies. Bosses have hp in the thousands to millions, so the chance to freeze them is very close to 0
To put this into perspective a Monolith enemy has 3k to 10k life depending on modifiers roughly and most skills have a base freeze rate around 40

A +1 shard is a skill shard drop and therefore also a class specific shard as skill are class specific.
However not all class specific shard are +1 shard.

I have put around 150 hours into solo but I want to play trade when it released. Should I restart now on "trade" to build up items/currency for whenever the faction system comes out. Duck - your Stash will not move, only what is on the character.
Kreshan - yes, Foe Cleaver does include the implicit affixes of weapons.

Is it possible to dodge the application of a dot effect? Say I have 100% chance to apply poison, and attack an NPC which dodges, will it be poisoned or no?
if the hit is dodged, you don't hit so you don't apply ailments

I still don't know but if I had to guess it would probably be that having the timers line up means that you can scale the bleed duration by scaling spirit plague duration and then they line up on your target too.
but the only way of scaling spirit plague duration is within the skill tree
and with it giving 60% cast speed, 250% penetration and not scaling with bleed chance it seems like there are no ways to scale bleeding with the skill effectively by getting modifiers on gear

here is an interesting question - when you put all the 3 starting points in Elemental Nova it enables all 3 novas and adds the 3 elemental tags to the skill
But how does that interact with conditional modifiers that rely on specific element? If i have X chance to ignite with fire skill and Elemental Nova has those 3 points allocated does such conditional boosts apply to every nova (*regardless of element) or only on the fire ones that trigger randomly on the 33% chance

What is the long term vision/goals for arena? Rn the consensus on them seems like they aren't really worth doing except to chase leaderboards. Is that all that was ever meant for them?
Little history on the arena. It was not a planned feature. We were in the middle of Kickstarter with about 25 levels of content. People wanted to keep playing so we slapped it in as an endless mode so people could at least try out higher level stuff.
Since then it has evolved quite a bit and we will continue to have it in the game. We do very intentionally make it not be the premiere method for hunting gear. I think ideally it would be roughly 85-90% as effective as other methods of farming.
We do have some more mechanics and fun stuff planned for the future of the arena. For now it is primarily just a leaderboard climbing test. (Which kinda sucks because the leaderboards aren't available at the moment.)
I'm excited to see where it goes!
Any estimate on when the "next" season will begin? Since each new season will need you to make new characters to participate in it
We aren't planning to split content for cycles but the next one I expect will likely be at 1.0. I don't have a date for that yet but it won't be next patch.
please explain monster dodge thing, because I think im completely missing something. There is no counter stat, no counter items? only rogue has some?
because if it is so, then it feels very wrong to me, never seen something like this in any rpg, for mobs to have stat that has no countermeasures for players
there are a couple other skills that have "cannot be dodged"

when there is mod on echo with dodge it just feels like complete trash for the duration of dodge mod. is it there for people to read mods all the time and never choose it? or I failed to find counter stats\items

imo design wise things like this must be meaningful, giving choices, like - you do not invest in counter stats, and you accept that you suffer from consequences, or you do invest - but suffer impairment in something else. here is just 0 choice

Procs of the spell "Lightning" from the Maelstrom tree explicitly don't benefit from the rest of that tree, while there is no disclaimer for the same type of "Lightning" proc on the Tornado tree. Does this mean that the Tornado ones are benefitting from that tree, and is the inconsistency intended? (Can type up a bug report if not intended)
triggered abilities will generally inherit stats from the parent skill. target conditional effects such as "vs ignited" or "vs low health" will not be passed on. If it doesn't fit this convention then it's a bug

How do we access our online character save files for lastepochtools if we have steam cloud saves enabled? I'm following the exact path they specify "[STEAM_GAME_FOLDER]/steamapps/userdata/[STEAM_USER_ID]/899770/ac/
WinAppDataLocalLow/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Saves/" and there is nothing present under [STEAM_USER_ID]/899770/ except for "remotecache.vdf". I had previously made offline characters that have save files under "[DRIVE]:/Users/[USER_NAME]/AppData/LocalLow/Eleventh Hour Games/Last Epoch/Saves" and can access those just fine. I've done a full indexed search on my PC and the only files that start with "1CHARACTERSLOT_BETA_XXX" are the offline character saves on my C: drive (the game is installed on my D: drive). When going to the game via steam and opening local files I am taken to my D: drive and the only subfolder is "Last Epoch_Data", along with the exe/dll's. "Last Epoch_Data" has no userdata or save-related subfolders.

How are modifiers removed / reset from empowered timelines, I only see they're kept when resetting the web through shade fight.
They have a duration in amount of echos. If your modifiers are too hard, you can drop some by running modless echos like quest echoes or beacons.
If warcry applies frostbite with heart of rime, will it benefit from its own frost claws buff (since buff application and debuff application happen at the same time / from the same skill usage) ?

skill tree nodes only apply to that skill. I'm not sure what the Holy Fire node is but if it is granting you the stat ignite chance, yes. If it's granting smite that ignite chance, no.
Cold is not a Rogue element so it doesn't apply. The name might not be perfect given that we use the term elemental to mean fire/cold/lightning
So basically the only "cold arrow skill" is node for cold dmg in lightning arrow

Saying cold is not a rogue element breaks my heart because Rogue has possibly the most cold skill conversions of any class in the game. It feels odd to have them and not be supported. Is that future proofing the class?

some effects don't care about "fake tags" that are used to convey what things it will trigger. So Tempest Strike itself doesn't deal spell damage but the subskills that it triggers do deal spell damage.

Skills don't get inherently more powerful based on the skill level. Level 1 shurikens and level 25 shurikens (with no allocated points) are identical in every way.

I'm pretty sure it says the set name in the set bonuses at the bottom. Also most set items have very similar and related names. There are a few exceptions to this.
If you can recreate that same thing with a dozen builds and take them through dungeons and full echoes, I would be much more impressed. I haven't watched your clip but I suspect that you've got a couple very specific ultra high damage, build enabling items and are an absolute glass cannon.
I would be much more concerned if you could do this in all blue items.

I use letools every day. Mostly because the version we have in the editor is not the same as live and I have to reference that a lot. We do have some ways to look at certain things. Skill trees is way easier on letools

Hi Mike, for target farming Unique items, LE Tools says to go to a certain timeline. Is that accurate or can you find that same item in any timeline with that Unique reward echo for the item base?

timelines have special reward nodes that are exclusive to them, e.g unique helmets reward type is exclusive to black sun afaik

If you read devouring orb description, it says each successive rift it creates improve by 12% in damage, therefor soul eater improve this rate by X. However, if you pick Hollow Orb, it will disable all of this.

Hey guys, I have a question about Mana strike, more specifically "Mana Arc" granted by the mana storm node, it says Mana Arc benefits from the other nodes on the tree, does this include the mana on crit and mana on hit nodes? Would that mean you can essentially double dip on those nodes and get twice as much mana on hit/crit.
Theoretically if it does what it says and Mana Arc benefits from all the nodes that don't specifically mention melee. Would this mean it also gets 40% base crit from "critical rejuvenation" And theoretically "Rune Sap" which gives stacking spell damage should also apply to mana arc and give twice the stacks?

They sometimes make mistakes too, or maybe something changed. Fact is, it is neither random nor the furthest out, as evidenced by just trying it once. Note how removing the -2 helmet gave -1 each to the two closest nodes, and it will do so every time I try this, no randomness involved.

Your offline character found characters have their own stashes, and that stash does not come with you. Make sure to take anything important from your stash with you in your inventory. Your gear/inventory do go with you.

The person who answered you was WRONG. You can find that relic literally anywhere, it says "Random Drop (Common)". The reason it tells you to target farm Last Ruin is because it has nodes that guarantees a unique or set relic to drop.
Not that I heard of and from my experience it does not seem like they are. I did end up farming one for days at some point, just rng being rng.

There was an event at one of the datacenters which caused rollbacks for the people who were playing on those servers when it happened.
The cause of that event has been handled. However, we know that some recent rollbacks have been caused by other things. These are very high priority bugs to fix and we are on it.
The chance of hitting a rollback is super small but technically not impossible.

“Eternal Storm” in the shaman tree is supposed to refresh a random totem’s duration when you kill a frozen enemy. Does it have to be yourself that lands the final blow, or can your totems get the kills? Using this node rn and it isn’t refreshing thorn totem duration and I am trying to figure out why

Ok then my next question to the devs is this:
Why does it work like that? If you are investing in totems/minions stats and effects, why shouldn’t they be able to proc the node themselves? The disadvantage totems have against companions is that they are immobile and have to be resummoned if you are on the move so extending their duration is hardly a game breaking buff. Why have me compete with my summons that I am building for to land killing blows when there is already a stipulation in place that the enemy needs to be frozen as well? It’s like the stars need to align for me to get any use out of it

currently when you buy from the gambler it seem you have to wait for the outcome of the purchase to pop up on screen before you can buy the next item, considering that generally you wanna buy lots of stuff at once from him will this perhaps be adjusted in the future to allow buying multiple items then having the result pop ups not delay the purchases or perhaps remove the pop up, whether it comes out a grey or a yellow , neither outcome is particularly enhanced by having the result pop-up. perhaps wrong section just curious if this is an artifact from when you get higher potential gear and uniques from gambler

Any plans to add more, ehhh, scriptability to the loot filter customization? I noticed that a lot of the times you really want to edit very similar rules: any affix for leveling, >=3 tier affix for midgame, >=5 tier affix for lategame, several >=5 tier affixes for insane drop. As of now, you have to go through every one of those rules and change them manually. Perhaps it would be cool if one could make a "base rule" of "those affixes are good", and then "apply patches" of "take that base rule and use affix >=3 tier"?

No specific plans at the moment. It does have some intentional limitations so you can't completely filter perfectly. There are a few things we do want to add to it though.
If you are more than 10 levels under, you gain XP as though you were in a zone 10 levels under. This cap is reduced if you have a a high level person in the group. Min 2.
Retribution is a triggered ability. I think echoes only echo activated abilities.
I can't help with any #support issues or #555817861529075713 here in #👨┃ask-the-devs-not-support-no-bugs . I also haven't heard of any success stories on data rollbacks yet. We have identified and fixed a couple causes of these and are investigating another right now.

Hmm, if you don't mind, what are some of the limitations that you speak of?
We don't have specific hard lines set but overall we do want to have some things that we don't filter on so there is some checking involved still. For example, we currently don't allow LP filtering.
We would like to avoid the situation where 100% of the things which are visible are always picked up because the filtering is so tight.
I was thinking something along the lines of performance concerns (I'm assuming that's also the reason why only 75 rules are allowed?). And here I was suggesting doing the whole "patching" thing in UI only, and for the gameplay itself to "compile" the rules into the hard-baked rules we have now 😄

Spot on about the 75 cap. You can make rules like that yea. They are evaluated in order and as soon as the item hits a rule it works for, it does what that rule says.
hmm what is more efficient using a rune of removal or rune of shattering does either one produce a chance of getting more affix shards of the chosen type that i want from the item?

Removal always gives shards equal to the tier of the affix removed, but costs FP (you can use glyph of hope to help). Shattering gives a random number

I don't think it teleports you unless you manually cast smite.
It isn't random. It picks a node with a lot of points in it which won't break a dependency. Tie breaks counterclockwise starting top left. Roughly, it's really just the order we added the nodes to a list and they generally go in that order.

Mike, might be a stupid question, but im assuming if i have a skill that does all 3 elements of damage, and a passive that grants +% to each element, say 7%, id be getting a 21% buff on that skill correct?
i'm trying to get controller to feel smooth and respond to my button presses appropriately, so, I remapped my controller buttons using steam controller config, and all my abilities register when i press my buttons; however, about 50% of the time swipe hits don't work. I don't know why swipe is only affected, but this issue persists upon rebinding swipe on controller. Has anyone noticed this or know how I might fix it? For instance, if i just hold down X (bound to swipe), it just doesnt trigger half the time. I really want to play with controller due to RSI hand issues. I also can't control which direction my bear faces when he swipes. Any help would be appreciated :), love this game !

no, each part of the damage is affected by the specific increases that affect it. So if you had a skill which did all 3, each 1/3rd of the skill is increased by 7% since 7*3/3 = 7.

Hi there! I'm currently running a Bone Golem-build triggering Bone Nova with Rip Blood. And i was wondering whether effects like frailty on hit, chill on hit, slow on hit, resistance shred aso asf also would affect the Golem and, more specifically, the Bone Nova, so that e.g. frailty on hit would also reduce Bone Nova's damage.
(To be more clear: would i apply those effects to the golem by hitting him with Rip Blood?)
I don't think you can apply ailments to your own golem but I'm really not sure.

Thank you. I now asked Dread, who also didn't know it, but he assumed that the aliments would get applied to the golem. I then tested it on the training dummy with some chill on hit and frailty gloves. The numbers were very similar with and without the gloves and the Golem didn't show the typical visual effect for chill, whereas the dummy did. So it seems to me like in this case the developer was right 😘 Ty for your time and dedication btw.
how does Vaion's Chariot interact with Warpath? It says that every 3 sec the next movement skill does more damage, does it do more damage on the first hit only? and if I continue channeling it, does it increase the damage of 1 hit every 3 sec or will it be waiting for me to use my next skill?

if you want it to remove another point instead, you can remove that point and get 1 more level in the skill, you can do this at the same time you do an xp reward in the monolith and it will just auto go back to max

hey mike does " + spell type damage" only apply to the specified type of skill, or will it be added to any skill, just not scale as good as general spell damage
so for instance would this void damage also be applied to my elemental spells, just wouldnt scale as well as spell damage? or does it not get applied at all.
spell void damage won't be applied to a spell unless that spell has the void tag
(and even then, will only apply to the portion of spell damage that is void)
This might be a support question but also might be me missing a simple FAQ, please let me know. Is there a current known issue with laptops graphics cards or something? Following this up... If there's a level 50 and a level 60 grouped up doing lvl 70 content, will the lvl 60 earn new levels faster than the lvl 50 (because they're getting zone xp lvl 70 vs 52)? Or does the xp thresholds to level up increase faster as you go up levels meaning that eventually the lvl 50 will catch up to the level 60 in xp?

I know that shield throw specialized into bouncing to allies bounces back and forth between the target and manifested armor.
Wanted to make sure if it's still the case for two strictly-enemy targets. I mean, with shurikens it's really hard to tell because throwing stars have tiny hitboxes, plus there's an ongoing hijink with projectiles in general which makes testing hard.

anyone is having problems with werebear where when you're using rampage you get teleported behind and when you're using maul you get freeze and you cannot move untill you're using maul again? - i have 42ms in EUW, so the ping can't be a problem.

If you contact your ISP, they can fix it. We went through a long process with them and they can't fix it on our end but they can do it for individual users on theirs.

To me it doesn't seem to serve any purpose and instead just causes aim-at-the-floor clunkyness and annoyance with stragglers.
As i play with gamepad even aiming at the ground is tricky and clunky.

Iam using aura of decay now and I noticed that in an area level 58 i take less damage (around 10%) than on a level 100, even when i have the same amount of stacks and poison damage. If thats not monster penetration, is there another thing affecting?

I think devs said they have no date for 1.0 and subsequent releases yet. Multiplayer just came out and games still buggy atm from it anyway so news on any bigger updates will likely have to wait till those are resolved

I'm testing Vortex Pennant right now and have a staff that says 292% increased damage while channeling. Since this is generic damage, it should count as physical damage to increase the frequency of the axe throws, but it doesn't. Is increased damage while channeling not generic or is it being applied after some check for total physical damage
When checking the tool tip when using warpath, I can see axe throws dps go up from 1500 to around 2100, so damage is being increased but not frequency.
I think it is looking specifically for physical damage
It says generic increased damage is also counted on the item tooltip
I would assume it works just like poe where Increased damage increases every type of damage, phys, elemental, void etc. besides minions but not sure about the last one.
Oh yeah, I just check my character screen stats and you can see all damage types go up
Been working on trying to make a build with the axe thow and when got extremely excited seeing the damage while channeling stat applies to phys as well, but sadly, it doesn't increase the frequency of axes 😦
Increased phys damage will make the vortex pendant (I might have the name wrong) unique relic throw axes more often
But I haven't tested other stats

Hey Dev's can you give me some insite on situations like this. "Increase throwing critical strike chance" vs "Increase shield throws critical strike chance" Both scale the same at each tier of affix and I was wondering why there was something this specific? Wouldn't the first increase throwing critical stricke chance be enough to cover all throwing skills in the sentinal skill base? Am I missing something here?

Guys ive been farming empowered mono, killed the boss multiple times, aquired Gaze of Orobyss stacks and whenevr i kill the Shade boss stacks dont decrease and i dont get bonus corruption depending how many stacks i have. i only get corruption increased as if i killed it while i hade 0 gaze stacks. any idea how i aproach this?

Is the shade you are fighting far enough out that it actually increases corruption? Is the bonus corruption from gazes noted on the shade node (it should be)?

Since corruption affects the drop rate of Orobyss uniques, is there a point at which the drop rate increase has diminishing returns?
Or can it basically boost to 100% drop rate per kill with enough corruption?
Sounds like it's not working as intended, there's a bunch of background math in this game that doesn't do what it says it should.
Server issues would be affecting everyone, and since I am not being kicked every five minutes, it's more likely a problem on your end. there's a link in #support where the devs might be able to help if you issue a ticket, however I'd go into it with a better attitude.

I have Storm Totem with the Blizzard node (enemies in the area has a 25% chance to be chilled per second).
I have 105% chance to Chill with the following:
25% from Blizzard
60% from Chill to the Bone
20% from Static Field (Blizzard converts from shock to chill)
When I use my storm totem and they are in the area of effect, they rarely even have 1 stack. Am I misunderstanding something?

dancing strikes, synchronized and shadowcascade have weapon requirements and work
but lethal mirage doesn't have weapon requirements and also works, but i was thinking about using that
You'll have to provide proof for those because there is a visual bug with using improper weapon on skills where it plays an animation but it doesn't actually do anything

Hmm ok, i thought that a crit shrine was giving me yellow damage numbers for blizzard and that crits didn't do anything for DoT. Maybe thats why I got confused. Thanks Knocks
