Will there be an expansion?
a paid one yes
Of course!
or is it the classes
next year or something
Oh.
They will launch with the ps5 release
i'll see how much they are first they better not do a diablo and charge $40
Somewhere next year
theres a new patch this weekj
JuSt a ClAsSiC SeAsOn?!?!?!
Shattered Omens, baby!
season of the idol
Not yet, it will be done probably in like a week from now :/ There's too much other stuff to update.
no probs
So season start is on thursday?
Yup
Oke 😄 Might be that I start one week later with it but gonna be funs havent played for a year or so
morning, leveling practice time. 😄
Hey guys whats looking like the winners of this patch? I couldnt see many massive nerfs
Sorta the same stuff that was already meta ngl
Mage
3rd season of judgement paladin start despairge
Tbf I think that one flask meta build got gutted
That was first Uber kill
I could be wrong
One flask?
I just mean that one build
Oh boy.
Between Crimson Desert, Diablo 4 season, Warframe update and new Last Epoch season, I’m gonna be swamped between now and July it seems
Start bleed hammer
or...literally anything else. no one is forcing you to play the same starter
i will not be joining you in your bhole enjoyment
Shame...
im gonna be starting with detonate ground forge strike cuz brutality
Oo
I’m gonna be playing with the rogue changes
Because this game actually encourages experimentation.
I was really excited to start fire aura
it does! rogue looks awfully spicy this season
xylem?
Particularly bladedancer
yeah it has so many options with bladestorm and shadow rend
😏😏Nope
spiiiicy
Hi guys! 1 quick question, its a bit hard to asnwer
What do you think about Rogue shadow build, I want to make one by using only 1-2button max for map clearing and bossing.
Based on new realised info its possible to make build I want? or it will consume a lot of mana and will need to spam at least 3 buttons?
thanks for your time! ❤️
Spell blade mage also looking pretty appetizing too 👀
rogue isnt known for having 1-2 button builds really. they utilize all their skills pretty frequently
cuz you need skills to move, to make shadows, and then skills that shadows use
Is the gameplay loop not quite tedious ? Seems like 4 button combo that has downtime based on veil cool down ? Albeit I guess sorta just have to deal with it if want big boom
I don’t know if any of the classes have builds like that
its ok
just a combo every 3-4 sec
thorns is 0 buttons...warpath is one button, a lot of sentinel builds are just generate and spend
esp when healing hands and sigils are pretty much auto anyways
🧨
and rogue really likes flow, so you wanna be using all the buttons
ah. le boom
Took me so long to find a freaking dynamite emoji
XD
There is none on discord
Had to use my phone keyboard emojis
Werebear Shatter Totem
Good day, everyone 🙂
Looks juicy as heck

gib spoiler
If something is better than others its difficult to ignore
I know the thorns got nerfed hard but it seems like it'll still work with the thorns corruptions now
Warframe about to have the most toxic meta ever and its gonna be great
sure, but there are plenty of builds in that same tier of judgement
its not like its the only thing that can do what it does
what makes you say that?
Its so face tank and easy prog... might be even better now early game is faster
Cyte sobek getting fixed, infinite punch through and about 30metre aoe lol
Hey Van. How's your day so far?
ok
I'll stick with Rhino + Strun Wraith Incarnon
Strun Wraith is very, VERY good both in and out of incarnon
So far not so bad. It's monday of patch week soooo
Wonder what the CCU count is gonna be on release day.
a mere 3 days
what was s3? like 70k?
80k
if they break 100 i think it'd be 'successful'
3 days left
I'm still mad at the fact that MM never got any attention, but it is what it is.
The day will come friend
At least there's a new skill that you can use with bows for now
In another 8+ months, I reckon, if ever. 😏
I waited quite some time for spellblade changes and tbf fire aura is still there lul
But maybe spellblade will actually be the best mastery for it now at least (tbh it's still close lul)
is it close? there really arent many ways to scale it and all the ways we do have are best in spellblade, so unless another of the masteries completely outpaces in total stacks kept up I don't see how its close
The nodes to scale it like the resistance one are still on the left side of the tree
You don't need to be a spellblade for them
sure but spellblade has firebrand for 360% fire res
and a 54% more multiplier vs spreading flames enemies that actually works for FA unlike most mores
(not to mention the new spellblade mastery bonus of 40% conversion of melee flat into spell flat)
Did erasing strike get buffed some time again or is it still S tier since season 2?
still good
MM?
Marksman.
Ah
why am i not getting vids in youtube about new sesaon and meta and all that stuff?
ppl not gonna play next season? is it dying?
I just saw someone mad at marksman been ignored on reddit too lol
Content creators don't have access to the testing realm so they can't really do proper guides
mostly just about what's been in the patch notes and theorycrafting
ohhh maybe that's why
i hope it's not dying tbh, i enjoyed the previous two seasons(didn't like the dinasours much tho)
I know content creators are making coverage videos regarding news and such. Also, make sure you check out the official Last Epoch Youtube channel for Seasonal news.
Youtube Algorithm too haha
which? i think my algorithm is focused on diablo 4 and poe1 now
But yeah they've made a bunch of covers about the seasonal news
Dr3adful made quite a few videos in the leadup here, I was actually surprised to see him back lol. Lizard irl and frozen sentinel (who ironically is a mage main) also been posting a bit
I would not rely on algorithms for my news, even if it comes to games I may still be interested in that don't stay active on the radar for too long.
Actionrpg also had a couple videos on the new season, it's his video that made me tempted to start forged weapons forgeguard
you can look at #🎥┃video-shoutout if you want videos
I do have to say, I feel like people are underplaying the spell blade changes. I feel like it's gonna have a lot of really fun and unique viable builds. If I wasn't deadset on forgeguard it would be my pick for sure
will do,
any vids recommended about how skipping the campaign and stuff? i need to refresh my memory😂
Lowkey I think it's gona feel more different than rogue, even though rogue got two new skills
funny enough dreadful just brought out a vid
Anyone starting as warpath void knight? Im wondering how the changes will impact the build
no. 1 i dont skip the campaign. 2 the way you unlock things in the monolith has changed this season with the 'knowledge of orobyss' so it could be faster to not skip the campaign now
almost no changes negatively tbh. its still gonna be really good
The big change pretty much only affects the endgame of the build kinda, it should feel pretty comfy up to there
It was a really really good balance what they did to it, nerfed the ceiling pretty much without changing the floor
Still uncertain about that. You need 5 knowledge and it's 1 per chapter 9, 10 and 1 per monolith that is in the lower half, with 2 for the upper difficulty ones + 1 of the level 90 ones to get to empowered.
also the changes to idols and altars will likely make up for w.e it might have been missing
Technically speaking nothing really changed, if you can go into monos early, you do an extra timeline or two and you're golden.
ohh that's new, i remember just skipping after a certain part, going to monolith and get a key, kill the boss
my memory is disgustengly bad but yea thanks i'll check the changes this season
you do ch 9 and 10 to get your atts anyways and faction...and then get xp blessing from fall of the outcasts, and then the last 2 points from reign of dragons for hit res or crit avoid and already in lvl 90s
im not saying it will be faster. im just saying it could be with the changes
and you dont have to rng your way into a temp sanc key
Different build do different things, so yeah... maybe some can just skip the 2 attributes and blast through later?
that was the strat this season...but it was changed this...so it may or may not be better still.
no one has ran it obv
cuz no one has played on it
I personally never skipped, I delibaretly took a more chill approach to leveling, get to drink in the details, not hoof it to endgame.
fair point
Usually you kill the tree, go do normal mono's, do a temporal to unlock factions
i'm an endgame game enjoyer😂 😂 i hate campaigns in genreal
Was it not the common skip to get idol slots going then mono a bit and then finish off campaign at your leisure anyway?
usually yes...but now with a different unlock path in monoliths and ch9/10 giving credit to unlock the lvl 90s...and not having to do all the monoliths in order, this could change
I am strictly an uber hunter, but that doesn't mean I don't pace myself ever so slightly, take things in their stride, enjoy the ride as it were.
ill prob go mono's anyway so I can focus on getting whatever unique the build I use needs
Eh, I normally would get to monos on the 2nd full day of the season, not long after, maybe 3rd day morning empowered. An extra day or two doesn't hurt none when the end game is rather, uh.... repetitive :p
i still think lagon skipping will be meta
chapter 8 is short but its also boring and probably will remain better to farm one temporal key in monos then do 9 and 10
instead of unlocking factions then running back to monos youll probably actually finish the campaign
im sure pretty much everyone is going to start like that cuz its the 'normal'
but alternate routes are sure to at least be tested
If one thing is certain in life, besides death, is that we are going to have plenty of time with this season to do everything we want out of it
spring has just began and brother, we have all summer
Mmmm... big season
Death and taxes
And LE!
LE is in the bucket of things that are definitely not certain anymore, friend
cherish these times we're experiencing right now
Yeah, sad true fact

it's 26th yet?
It is not but sooon..
soon is not soon enough 🥲
It'll be here before you realize it
ty so much
Good morning Muffin
Good Day Muffin
thursday cant come soon enough lol
For every major release i find judd amaze me, each time his face. Man himself annauncing update, a CEO. You never see that in any gaming scene.
Me not doing season, waitng to go to core
Hopefully servers not down Thursday
Im thinking im going to go falconer for leveling then go bladestorm/shadow rend
Good morning Fando!
I think...I'm starting with Mage.
Bladestorm and Shadow Rend ❤️
your class doesnt match what you've just said xD
I knooooooow, it's because Fando mentioned it.
detonating ground forge strike
Any chance we get chrono trigger inspired mtx in the future?
Werebear
If Im looking for a melee build based around insane attack speed, where should I start?
What class?
Rive
Doesnt matter
Flay lich looked kinda cool. I just love fast attacking melee builds that arent squishy lol
rive is good. spellblade with shatter strike or flame reave esp with patch
Bees it is
The sweet honey, it calls to me
lol
Imma Bee a Mage Magebee. Beeage ? Bumble Mage?
Bee patient guys, it's around the corner
if EHG ever does press kits - just put some honey in it
Im gonna go LB first, ive not made one, then if some sort of cool meteor build comes out i'll switch too that.
Then maybe the bee explode build

Can someone please confirm if the frostbite/frozen nodes on shatter strike tree changes once you convert it to lightning?
They do, anything relying on an enemy being frozen is changed to an enemy having 10 stacks of shock I believe
it specifically says frostbite is changed
Shatterstrike didn’t get changed that much tho
its still a high attack speed skill, esp with recasts, which is what they asked about
I always play CoF because buying gear is just cringe to me
But would the tooltip for razor ice change to lightning
Tooltips in the tree don’t change, but the effects do
well since frostbite is changed to shock...and shock does no dmg...it doesnt need pen
I mean, not really? It "attacks" quickly in the sense that its a lot of attacks at once, but you only click once and it does all the repeats/attacks afterwards. Vs say, having 14 aps on Swipe. Its a different feeling entirely
But wouldn’t pen be good for shatter that it would now have the lightning tag and any LB procs?
Or is it only pen for shock
razors edge only gives pen for frostbite...like it says
shock doesnt do dmg...so it needs 0 pen.
If you’re looking for a melee build erasing strike is king by far. So fun
are you trying to say that shatter strike doesnt do insanely better dmg with attack speed?
because...it does insanely better with attack speed
I understand kinda useless then for lightning
and since the person asked for high attack speed skills/builds
No. I’m saying it’s a different feeling of pressing your skill once and it attacking 40 times vs having 40 attacks per second attack speed.
Yes. I know. I said it’s a different feeling. lol
right
Like pressing unleash in PoE vs having that fast of cast speed.
Same result, different feeling
sure
IIRC most cases of elemental changes like this do so, right? I want to say there's like one or two cases where this isn't true and they make sure to mention it
yea its normally listed
Is it possible to change the element type on LP affixes?
did they change anything about dungeon bosses btw? Julra is beyond frustrating in the higher tiers and her attack visually aren't very well done imo
more damage
So the +levels to shatter strike mod will always roll with cold damage?
Yes
Good to know, thanks
nothing was in the patch notes
Hi everyone, does anyone know if the price of Last Epoch will drop further when the new season is released? Or is the current 20% discount the lowest it will get? I just want to buy the game at the lowest possible price.
no one knows anything about sales. they just happen. i doubt it'd get any lower as more content gets added tho
Hi all, I have a question for the die hard fans of ARPGs. I played Poe2, D3 and D4 following guides during season resets and really enjoyed the games. But I started playing LE and loved the crafting system, I always wanted to find out is playing the game yourself, using items you discover as you play and making your own builds more fun or am I bound to end up completely confused or with a bricked build that’ll end up searching a guide for a new character? Just wanted to hear some thoughts on this as set items weren’t really used s2 of LE always thought it was weird.
tbh even if the game goes on sale its usually $30 from 35. its worth the $35 tbh
Nah i already own the game. I just wanted some opinions on following a online guide or playing yourself and building yourself
This game is the absolute best for playing on your own and not following a guide, it’s really easy to make a build that works well enough to get to empowered monos
i was replying to the other guy asking if the game is going on sale
Whoops
lol
you can't brick a build. respecing is pretty much free
If you understand the basics of flat/increased/more damage that’s enough to get a good grasp of skill building
It's pretty hard to brick a build. Though, the corrupted item stuff will make it easier to do. But it'd only be that item.
Even a c-tier build can do most content. Once you get used to "more" vs "increased" it's all a bit easier.
I’ll give it a shot with mage in s4
I'd say that the burden of knowledge in Last Epoch is lower than that of other aRPGs, especially since respeccing is far cheaper (You can change your mastery choice too). How easy you find it depends on your general game knowledge and "feel" for game mechanics, but as long as you understand the basics you should be able to reach end game and do most of the content.
Thanks all!!
An easy mistake people make is not getting enough flat dmg sources. You can have all the mores in the world (and yes they are very important) but small number X more is still small number haha
Do most contents include...What the name of that new boss from omen echo is...
That boss require 400c to challenge
the campaign is a place to try different skills and see what you like. and then empowered monos is when you have the concepts of a build in place
That'd be too early to tell imho. It's supposed to be easier than uber abberoth, but that can still be enough to stop a lot of builds.
It’s supposed to be between abberoth (est. 300 corr) and uber (est 1k corr)
uber isn't 1k corr
Then again, depending on your build uber abberoth is anything from "being able to almost ignore all game mechanics in uber abberoth" to "15 minute showcase of pure player skill".
What the name of boss in fractured prison is
Observer I think?
Thx
Vision of the Observer
Will C-tier can do observer too?
DPS determine the max damage for sure
When is new season?
26th
do we know what class is getting focused in season 5?
wondering if i should play primalist/druid or wait another season
bladedancer is getting updates 🙂
all we know is paladin is gettings its 5th skill
didnt paladin did a rework in s2...?
good luck everybody on season
thanks Kartal 🙂
mike are u here?:)
yes 😄
hw re u mate
nonononon
i ll help for my friends
nonono
i played poe-torchlight and others in every season already:)
but i have jobs just i ll play for my irl friends
again?):
yes 😄
i did 6k corruption yes
nice
My fun is in high corruption. I can’t play 1–2k corruption 🙂 I’d rather die 50 times in the same map than play that low :
i hope u are enjoy in new season
i can give a trick:)
just play ballista and bring ur a friend with bear build. so duo gameplay
u can go high corrp. what u want
best duo in this game
i ll play explosive ballista alredy
kinda with all of sentinel (more vk tbh) but...its still missing a skill. getting a skill does not equal a rework
what is the absolute fastest movement speed tech, completely ignoring damage/defenses?
I want to create screenshots of full zone maps (do these exist somewhere?) and just want to zip through areas extremely quickly on some random level 90 character
lets go @night marten
why
Sports team reference I assume
but.....nothing happened?
Go eagles!
XD
rofl
I think Muffin should be a pinnacle boss 🙂
so fun fact - I am a huge fan of the Venture Maidens D&D podcast - and years ago they did a 1-shot for me for my birthday
and the "boss" we fought was a Muffin golem and fire spells made it stronger (hardened) lol
yay! 😄
ghostflame
that monolith change means that it is possible to start from the scratch doing monoliths with a starter?
What is the meta minion build for uber abberroth rush?
no, you still need to get to End of Time
Dreadful made a video about progression
you still have to do story
Just ask someone on chat free tp
But u have to get idol slots and passive points from campaign, it takes almost full story before that crab boss, then ur maxed out
Yes
anyone know why im locked to 60fps? vsync is off . so stange i had this issue before but totally foget how to fix it , thanks
still have no idea what build to play, any suggestion?
The only correct answer is bees. We all know it.
Steamer mode?
i think i remember having to hard lock fps to the actual game itself in my nvida's control panel. So it might be your actual graphics cards setting specific to the game if you have ever changed it before or maybe use some sort of game profile.
Guys, I never played LE very seriously, but always end up playing a bit most of the season starts, always using Maxroll as a baseline to choose decent builds.
My question is: For those who see that and also from other sources, how accurate are those builds tier lists?
Also would like any suggestion for builds that are not minions, has good clear speed, good single target damage (aiming to kill uber bosses), somewhat tanky enough to be forgiving if you mistep here or there.
The last 2 times I played it, I chose Erasing Strike Void Knight, because it seemed like a good choice for those, but also didn't search too much
Maxroll tier lists are ok if you understand they are only basing it off their opinion, limited build selection, and knowing that their tier lists are (currently) based off last seasons power and theorycrafting without any gameplay. It is not all encompasing or perfect.
their leveling guides are decent at least the ones with full videos
maxroll is 50/50
Tho based off the patch notes...most everything that was good last season, is also good this season.
sometimes theres a person has mega knowledge of a build and its a gg guide, sometimes its a bit copy and paste
Any nerfs are going to be offset by corruption and altars
You can also use lastepochtools or #🎥┃video-shoutout
For other build ideas and guides
Yo, are these patch notes from 20th the latest and final
last epoch tools is so cool
wish there was a site like this for other games i play
They should have some updates at the bottom, but yes
pulsar black hole bosser looking juicy
is there any build that goes deep into movespeed and utilises Vaion's Chariot?
i was more looking at the 1% increased dmg per 1% increased movespeed
Ah
Scaling increased is easy, scaling movespeed is hard
I think there is the same thing on Wrongwarp too
I love the concept behind the Chariot boots, but they don't really offer that much
sadge
profane veil makes pretty good use of them
Should be like 2% increased damage per 1% ms
honestly just lower the lpl a little and it should be fine
it has nice stats, 100ms is giga easy to get and 100% inc is pretty nice, they have allres and good armor too and they're pretty fast, but 90 lpl is a lil steep
Soo not seeing many nerfs to paladin? 🧐
You do yeah... and you need a meta change on a new season as well
because it gets boring otherwise
you can just play other builds yk?
and some builds cant be played without nerfing certain things
I do understand that train of thought, but for example if you play HC, or race leaderboards, or push for first ubers etc. It's already a done equation you know
Pally super OP last season, will be pally and rogue again 80% on HC ssf
and only rogue because of the reworks
pally is always gonna dominate HC because its so safe
which is why it needed a nerf
well how many % of people do that tho?
I do
how many % are you? xd
the warriors fury nerf allows other warpath varients with the new idols/ changes
idk the numbers, i'm sure there are ways to find out %, but you see how you can play casual and just play a build to vibe and that's fun for you, other people wanna play it differently you know
sure thing i just thought those leaderboards are class reliant
so instead of rushing first uber kill on hc with meta build you maybe get that with a not so meta build or something
and be the frist one with that build
It's been a while since I played but IIRC the leaderboards are all global unless you're looking at arena which is class specific
so it'll be XXX on paladin first to kill new uber encounter
ya i only know that leaderboard
are there even first uber kill leaderboard ingame?
ik there will be a corruption leaderboard in S4
basically just forces you to play that class without any nerfs or buffs you know if you want to place competitively
I didn't actually try it last season I just saw everybody and his dog running it because giga dps and immortal so
i am a simple man, i just want to be a ninja
The new blade skill and shadows do look fun
To metacuck or not to metacuck, that is the question
My sorc got more nerfs than pally lol feelsbad
imma do some cascade stuff
What time is new season live on Thursday?
11:00 AM CDT!
Waht's being done about the servers?????
they work on the servers every patch
there were basically no major issues at all last release
no I me3an right now .... all day its been one disconnect or hung loading screen after another me and my frineds basically unable to play
have you sent in any reports about it?
we are east servers
cuz you would be the first complaints i've heard all day about them
response times are in the hundreds of milliseconds according to login screen, it usually says 15ms for me
been getting worse all day in the last hout I lost 3 echos to disconnects I just tried to port to act 10 to go to hunt merchante and disconnected on loading screen my friend in seattle on west is seeing the same things constant disconnects and hung loading screens
Iwe both use different server location both have 1GB bidirectional fiber internet so its not our connection and other games like POE and D4 today withgroup play were flawless no issues so that makes me think its LE servers
keep getting "You lost connection to the game server" also at one point today all my cosmetics were stripped off my character and my settings in game for like mini map size and opaqueness were reset it was like my settings reverted to a day ago or something ... really weird
Also of note in case devs are looking my last disconnect when I reconnected all my cosmetics were stripped again.... maybe an issue with MTX cosmetics causing disconnects or crashes.
gonna leave all my cosmetics disabled for now maybe that will stabalize gameplay.
nah the mtx thing is a known bug for a while...fixed in s4 but this is the workaround that was given until then https://discordapp.com/channels/368953963267096586/414295382625878037/1432741243200475148
Thanks
Is it just me or do the builds look pretty similar to the last 2 seasons?
So im pretty dumb in making build so far, what build is the best in party? i play healing hands with aura to boost my friend's damage, this season what build should we match with? mage with black hole looks fun, but can i scale void damage with my auras?
Most if not all the Paladin stuff is very general, pure damage boosts and stuff
I mean the patch isnt out so we dont know which new build is actually good, theres a few that have been theorycrafted which seem decent but they are all untested
yeah i do give fire dmg if i can and some crit too
The bee exploder build looks funny af
isnt patch out tho?
Javelin has a deployable buff you may be interested in, although Idk what to drop for that
Smite/hh/aura/symb/jave or judg I guess
I'm just not sure Javelin does more than Judgement would
last season my friend played beast build it was fun but slow haha
ahh aight
i mean...yeah...most CC's are going to reuse the same builds each season...cuz its more time efficient to only update than build from scratch.
also there is only so much theory crafting you can do without actually playing the patch
Any paladin build
hey guys what is the difference betwee the eternal and the seasonal realm?
only the economy really. season gets reset.
all content goes to both
is it me or there is some problem with cosmetics?
if they are removing themselves on logging, https://discordapp.com/channels/368953963267096586/414295382625878037/1432741243200475148
:'c and this will be solved with s4 patch?
they have said it will be yes
thanks ❤️
whats the launch time on the patch again?
<t:1774540800:F>
Does anyone have a formula for the cast speed calculation on Soul of the Mountain? Not sure how to deal with the multiplicative cast speed decrease and want to try to figure out optimal attunement to cast speed ratios etc for my build
Do people not level with hammers at all anymore?
hammers are a fine level for sentinel
you dont need perfect optimizatin while leveling unless you actually need those seconds back
Bleed or Ignite hammers makes easy work of the first few chapters
Any of yall got a planner link? i cant find any
bonjour des quebecois par ici ?
How do I get one of those awesome looking purple EHG hats?
i assume if i start the game now, in 3 days ill need a new character to play the new season, right?
You dont. They dont have a merch store
I watched a guy on YouTube do it, hammers look like fun
If you want the fresh economy, yes. But you can play in legacy and get all the new content
Think they were bleed hammers
legacy gets season content too?
Yes
i thought only season got the events and mechanics etc and legacy was just normal game
I prefer starting fresh and experiencing the new stuff
you might want to wait if you want to try the new rogue skills if thats the class your picking
i saw you can get pretty big boss type summons on some builds
i want a big chunky minion boss style
Abomination, golem
idk the names yet xD
Enjoy!
well ima wait then, i want to be in it with everyone
Game is so fun imho
ill just continue on mirage for poe till then
I was paying that yesterday leveling bow build and srs
I may also level a lightning build beem while
poe and diablo finally burned out, so im heading into LE for a few months
adding it to the arpg rotation
Well worth it
Lot of builds to try I've barely touched like 80% in hundreds of hours
i hope so
For 30$ my goodness the stash system and loot filter alone is amazing
turrets and minions are usually my favs, when i saw the giant skeleton mage build for LE i was sold
but im a season monkey so ill wait till the 26th
Worth it
I just dont know what to start 🙂 primalist or necro for me
Storm crows to fire sounds awesome but also want to do a fire necro minion army biild
Welcome to LE! Im personally annoyed the poe season is so good, people are talking about skipping the season launch, which is unfortunate
it is quite good
and ty
sleepy time for me, hope to see ya all again, ty for the warm welcome, arpg community is always nie
i honestly i dont know a game that has a clear upgrade path/plannable league starts as LE, its very good
Later!
Minions for life!
Aaron's necro bee queen looks neat
Do note that LE does expect you to be actively pumping your minions
uhhh...
Did he end up putting attunement on gear?
Id have to recheck, remember hearing int stacking
This is the way.
O.o
What’s the best build for uber? Abomination?
ghostflame
He did have over 120 attunement
How well does last epoch tools work on phone? Its blocked on my work pc and id like to look into it
doable if you turn your phone sideways and navigate the tools in that mode.
it takes a little bit of patience but then it's easy to view.
yeah np just play with it
Using build planner on mobile is not recommended :D
In read-only mode (default on mobiles) it's perfectly fine, but switching to full mode and editing in there could be troublesome.
ive mastered it.horizonal while viewing, and verticle while text editing and viewing text 😛
Auto-rotate.
is key. while on a phone.
Ah bummer 🙁 ill just ask you to help me make something? ❤️
There are twitch drops, yes
https://forum.lastepoch.com/t/season-4-shattered-omens-twitch-drops/80554
Enlighten this ignorant one, why is the end date the 30th at 00:01 UTC, but the campaign is stated to run until the 29th 00:01 UTC?
how would I know their logic
Well, not you specifically, but I may have mistakenly used the reply to link to what triggered my response.

pure queen bee though that build you posted also looks very interesting looks like you did max cdr for its attacks
I'm pretty much set on my starter build
I tested it a little on a character just to see how it behaves
I'm satisfied
now try it on next season, only 2 days left
Yeah I gotta play with the skill points and passive points a bit
But the core is "touched by Nurgle"
Aura of decay and curses for days
It starts pretty slow but once it gets going it's quite similar to a poe build
when you level up and obtain the gears, nurgle will be satisfied hehe 😈
My concept began from the description of the Nurgle faction - heavy/tanky and wherever they walk by there is rot/poison and decay and disease
It's actually quite funny
how i hate nurgle inspired factions i can't even explain ;; always i fell like not dealing with something devil/evil but giving mercy to those poor sick creatures - always it makes me fell "weak".
Whilst trying to not go too deep here, I will say that the warhammer franchise is probably the central piece of the "grimdark" descriptor for universe. We may sit here and pick apart and like or dislike, but nothing about it is positive. Fantasy has a lot of themes of doing things to survive/get by and ultimately fail, as it falls to chaos. 40k is ultimately different shades of bad.
That said, we can still talk about thematic elements of this or that as a sort of easy comparison to a rather well known franchise.
I'm partial to Tzeench in that sense :p
If only I could find an equivalent for beemancer in that sense.
Hmm, why are all my MTX unequipped on my characters all of a sudden?
is there gonna be an S tier spellblade build in S4?
just want a build that will be able to do new pinnacle, no ambition for uber abby anyway
maybe, maybe not
Thank you
Anyone else going to play the new season?
Fore sure! Super hyped!
Going to play it indeed
I just really wish PoE would not drop stuff like right on top of LE seasons. But honestly, given up on that hope and will play LE since it´s been planned for a long time
At least there was about 3 weeks difference between poe1 & le season
and poe2 we hear about at the end of next month
Gauntlet starts 2 days after LE S4
Not sure if it is the Asian servers but a bit worried about the constant DC´s I am getting today. Hope it´s not like that when season starts
Corporate warfare at its finest, in a sense. It only works if we actually behave as expected and not make our own decisions.
I took LE on its own two legs since 1.0. Now that we're staring season 4 in the face, I abandoned PoE to stick with LE going forth, however long that lasts. Because I decided as such for myself.
Hopefully we get seasons more steadily going forward
Yeah but gauntlet isn't official GGG event.
True, but it is a "reset" on one of their best leagues to date
Anyway, enough about that. S4 looks super good
Actually kind of want to go rogue for hc saf this time
GGG has a system of private leagues for their titles. I don't know the specifics, but technically any community can request their private server and it's mostly used for such events. In the past it used to be their own race events, such as the now called gauntlets on the regular. They provide open public support to big streamers that are in close relations to them that want to organize such events, down to advertising some, because invariably attention gets drawn to the title itself.
Convoluted? yes, enough that it gets lost in translation who initiated it.
It´s a good system imo to keep everything fresh and draw attention
It is very good for the purpose of marketing, indeed.
In my talks elsewhere, several have noted that LE could use more exposure.
Some promoted hc saf race and gauntlets would probably attract more streamers as well meaning more players
Agreed. Anything that makes sense that draws more people to the title, I am in favor of.
HC is the minority of the community in any of the games if you want proper publicity you don't need some complex thing you just need to make a good game
The issue with LE is that the majority of its systems are available (or better) in poe and poe is free
It is, but if you check viewer count during HC races for for example. People do want to watch their favorite streamer compete even if they normally play sc themselves
And how many of them actually play the game
They get hooked by the streamer but give up after one death
Guessing most people that watch a game stream plays the game one way or another?
Nope that's not really true
Ok
People watch streamers for entertainment
It's watching the person not the content itself
What other streamer than a certain aussie that streams PoE would people watch for the personality and have no interest in the game?
What LE streamer are people watching and not playing LE?
That's streamers who stream exclusively a single game
The trick is that most arpg streamers actually play more than one arpg.
They do
And they usually switch when there is either a race, sponsored or something new and shiny that they really wanna play anyway
That attracts viewers
Thing about marketing is getting streamers to play your game, expose it to their existing audience.
We kinda went astray with the whole topic of publicity in a way
Most work is to convince the streamer to play your game. Monetarily or otherwise.
Indeed, streamers are people that basically work a job as entertainers that are used as post boards for products.
My point is that no matter what the company does or which streamer publicized the game if the game is not good it will not get players
There are games with horrible reviews in Steam that gets a new influx each season due to a lot of big streamers streaming their new content every time
Imho, LE has plenty to offer in a "less is more" kind of way.
I think le has enough exposure until console launch so what it's already doing which is players only come if its a good patch! So 1.0, 1 2 and now looks like 1.4 will slam it out of the park
Well, fair enough then. Godspeed!
I eagerly await the day when I get my hand MTX :p
The content that has been added and now part of the core game keeps adding a lot of value in LE I think.
And big streamers already prepping for le. Rax and carn i saw earlier yesterday
And how many stay around after the hype passes? This is a pointless argument when we are talking about player retention.
I personally feel that the hunts and the weaver stuff adds a lot that was "missing" in the beginning to keep going
I know fubgun has content for LE. Also popular in the PoE community.
They probably only want the influx to buy their packs, spend money and then not overload the servers constantly?
A game grows with its community and without player retention you have no community
Player retention is low for any arpg title. It's the seasonal aspect that keeps the audience coming back, usually.
That holds true for any game, though...
This. New shiny things, new shiny mtx, new shiny content.
And I didn't say anything about a game exclusively I said publicity comes from a good game not by hype
I mean, the whole point of games is you play them, and once you're done you move on.
Only ones that kind of void this rule are MMOS deliberately designed to consume your time.
Can come from both
Gotta play something while I wait for that Grim Dawn expansion
They got us with a tucan, now its a panda...
Ok which type of publicity would you say is better for a game then
But long term titles with online play like these are a little different, in that normal titles have their life cycle that is finite, game gets made, patched updated, up to a point, then scaled down within a few years (2-3) to work on the next title. online arpgs are conceived like MMOs in that they are meant to last long.
To attract new players? I would say that having the game very high on twitch charts would be a good way to attract new players. Preferably with streamers not roasting the game
But do so without scripts...
So you are moved by numbers and not genuinely well designed games?
Where did I say that I don´t want a well designed game?
To each their own, but what makes LE not be a quality title?
There are plenty of very good indie games that fail due to no exposure even if the game itself is super good and well thought out
But you said that stream numbers are more important than the game being good and the publicity coming from the players themselves
He did not.
I said I believe its important for attracting new players...
He said that to attract new players stream charts are the better option
There was no wording that impled as such, to me.
To be fair, re-reading, Delz did not answer your question specifically :p
You asked which is better, but Delz is more on using all the options at hand.
To have people play your game for a long time, having a very high quality game is probably better. To get new people to try your game and get an influx of players hype/marketing/twitch charts or whatever will probably get you more players (not saying they will stay forever)
I'm not even talking about additional publicity I am strictly speaking about which is the most important thing to publicize your game
That and community
Isn't one of the classic methods called "word of mouth"?
That's the whole base of my point. Without having a good game your numbers are meaningless since the players won't stay or come back to play
Not gonna flame other games here but you can find them yourself on steam and twitch. Bad (or less than good ratings at least) do manage this with streamer hype every season
That's the most solid and important form of publicity but not in terms of increasing your overall numbers but building a community
I mean, I learned about LE only at 1.0. I didn't even know it existed prior. And I learned of it via a bigger community of PoE.
I found LE from a friend who loves playing PoE and D2
I can´t even remember how I found LE. I just remember that LE and 2 other arpgs kind of came close to eachother, or at least developed during the same time and wanted to have some arpg to play outside of PoE
I actually liked them all in their own way
I started PoE solo in 2017. Over time and with a bit of a history, I ended up joining a big community by way of split off from the first guild I decided to give a chance to, see what the social aspect looks like. It was in this last community that I learned of LE and never had any regrets about it.
LE just had more fun builds at the time and felt better
Anyway, time for dinner. Have a good one and let´s all enjoy S4 🙂
Have a good one
I started because of a friend and stayed because I love the simplicity of the building but the flexibility of the systems
For some reason the last epoch seasons are timed perfectly for me. I grind the game like 3 weeks take a break and everytime i really want to play again the new season is like 5 days away
Less is more, right?
Not even less is more but the right amount where you want it
It's in your biological calendar now 🙂
I say less is more coming from PoE, where you literally have everything and the kitchen sink thrown at you as a player.
Seems like it. Only downside is being hyped and having to wait 4 days 😛
For me personally it's like ....
Monoliths are my grinding itch scratched
The crafting system is simple but you have a large selection to make ur things
The loot is simple to understand but you can tweak many of its details
LE is the only game of its genre i ever gotten into and didnt get either bored or overun by systems
So it's simple to understand but there exists complexity
I used to call LE the sweet spot between D4 and PoE.
The only thing that I might say as negative is probably the campaign which is ..... Ok that's as far as I can get it
But... LE is more than either.
PoE does not offer any form of campaign skip, by the by.
I just want more flashy effects im a simple man
Number go up, monkey brain go click for me.
I would rather see what my character is doing :p
Try making a flurry build and cosplay as a land mower
If you want flashy, I think our good friend Kalitarq here had one that turned your screen into a flashbang :p
Hmm.. to the discord search then.
I wanted to do a rouge melee build next season to see hpw flashy shadows are.
I was tempted to do the same but I cooked a different build I wanna test
#💬┃general message This one?
That's the bomber ye
With skill lvl it changes a bit but that the base
Well, I saw it, which is why I mentioned it based on your description and how it could be considered flashy :p
My gf did a lich coal thingy build with a million dashes. That was also flashy but to hard for her to execute
It basically makes the map feel like nukes are being fired every 0.5s
Is there a video? x)
Yeah tnx
banger thanks
My pleasure, always in favor of good ideas.
Mine is a bit ..... Bigger I'd say
Since I dont use the golems
So I got extra mobs and the neverending swarm of zombies
And the mana bar goes from empty to full every second
It's just an amazing experience no joke
But it's a fact that I've never used the build in lategame
When is late game. I doubt i ever was
Empowered monos, technically.
That is when u walked trough all once right?
1000 corruption is a sweet spot, but that's more for those that actually push for that.
Sounds like thats where i wanna go next season.
Not sure this patch will be good for those that are new to that aspiration. bunch of 10% increases to health and damage for level 100 mobs (on top of which corruption adds scaling), bunch of redesigned monsters, particularly rares that are meant to be better at killing the player character
But, this season of LE got me to actually sit down and ponder a build for myself. I blame the bees. If anything, I learned to not trust myself with a good build just going in. Took thousands of hours of PoE and nearly 1000 of LE to return to the root of me wanting to make a build that can perform up to the higher end content.
Whether bleed bees can pull through, though... TBD.
I beelieve
Most of the build looks promising and achievable. It's the idols I'm most worried about. If the bees per 10 seconds affix on idols that can roll it stays at 0.1 weighting, it's going to be abysmal to get that, let alone the suffix that would work well. Not to mention the ideal 7 out of the 3-7 rolls.
Mostly because the idols from the altar would amount to some 30-35 bees aside from the gear itself.
In fact, base gear, with no idols is maximum 18 bees in the way I built it. But the altar can theoretically squeeze out 38 bees. (assuming maximum possible rolls)

you squeeze the idols such they pop out bees every 10 seconds.
How long till log in time?
Amen
hi guys, i havent played for 2 seasons and im planning to return this new one. Is putting ur items at lowest price the best way to rank up merchants guild like it was?
It never was
You gain rank when you put stuff on sale
Not when you actually sell them
That was changed at some point.
Nope
But I forget which.
It was always when you spend favor
yep but it was a way to not think about prices too much cause only u wanted was to be able tobuy exalteds as fast as u could
And its when you put smth for sale that you spend favor
I mean if you are fine with not getting money and just spending your favor, that's up to you
so, the fastest way to rank up is putting items on sale?
Ah, right, the system was of getting extra favor based on sale price, apparently.
oh so now u have to do it the other way? Put items at 1M? hahaha
Gaining and spending your Favors
Gaining Favors > kill monsters
Spending Favors > selling and buying items
ok ty mate
I gotta admit I didn't know how the merchant league even worked I've always played ssf
Since we're on the topic, I never tried MG. Is it worth it for someone who isn't gonna rush the game?
Or do you have to go fast to keep up with inflation n stuff
Can't tell you, always played cof
MG is specifically for if you are rushing through things, and competing to try to play fast
the more time goes on the more market will dry up, at least from what we've seen so far

i mean its easier to get ur desired build without being maxed, but i guess its harder to get bis build
I've only done MG up until this point, gonna swap this season (probably)
also, u get quite crazy when u have too many items and u have to search what is their price
kinda daunting having to hunt down my own weird niche uniques but we'll see how it goes 😄
I think that's one of the reasons while I've never played or built a character revolving around a specific item but works on their own
Not sure that's true, I have seen a lot of min maxers swap to mg to be able to buy stuff because farming the right 3lp uniques and 3t7 exalted was taking to long
Still on Glyph Fire Aura?
yep. I'm debating doing something safer for a first character though
at least 2 seasons ago, after 1 or 2 weeks prices were to fuked up that was hard to buy things
May I recommend my bomber Necro spec
naw it'd be smite paladin
I feel like I've recommended that spec literally every chance I get
acolyte is the one class I have zero knowledge about and that's fine to stay that way for a bit LOL
2 seasons ago > 1.1, there was gold generation abuse
Hey let me just sell you an image
Think of blue nukes making you blind every 0.2s
yep, was so sad
So its fair to say it's not the real experience of MG
what will happen in MG is if you want to play the "popular" build (whatever that is we'll discover in the first few days of the season) you're overpaying for your items by orders of magnitude
so just keep that in mind if you want to play erasing strike slammer or something
This sounds ...... Annoying
the flip side is if you play funky weird stuff your items are (sometimes literally) free
which is why I do it
As much as I'm not a fan of endless grinding I still think that the true rpg experience is actually building your own character
Fight the RNG and make your own build
Once again that's my personal view
It is a general rule that off-meta builds are cheaper, not necessarily weaker. Player markets, which MG is one of, live by the meta and die by the meta. Popular builds or rather popular items that are common between builds naturally go up in price as demand is big, while supply is about the same, particularly when it comes to random drops (not boss uniques).
If you want to play the most meta builds, go CoF would be my opinion. Unless you're good at market use and manipulation.
I default to CoF because of PoE being market centric unless full SSF with no added benefits ptsd. I can lengthen my play time and spare my nerves if I go CoF, which is the ideal combination to actually enjoying my time playing.
Now consider this: building your own character and killing uber abby with it :p
You must know I've never even gotten to Ubers so that holds no value to me
My joy of playing the game is just that playing a game not min/maxing my way to an achievement
To you, maybe not. To me, yes.
Well, I think we all play games to get something that we don't get out of our jobs.
For me, the lack of actual order is what made me want to structure a path for myself in other ways.
To each their own I don't judge other ppl's fun even if I can't understand it
I can certainly relate to forging my own path
Just my goal is the journey not the destination if that makes sense
For me, it's both, but I admit, more skewed towards the destination.
I start with an idea to aim for and then follow the course and adjust my course as items come in and I work with and around what I have and don't have.
It combines both the end build concept and the adjusting as par for the course.
will new cosmetics be added on s4 launch or we just get what we have the shop atm?
There will be new MTX, we don't know exactly what yet.
Speaking of cosmetics is there a way to see how exactly your character will look if you equip it?
I never figured it out
There is still hope for humanity after all
Good day, travelers 🙂
Imma write a little thingy up, but I'm taking it to #📚┃off-topic
Will Vandryll become Van-bee-ll when season start?
And muffin, flying muffin if we attach a balloon?
Oooh, I like that name, Vlad
I'll consider it
Gotta add it to my list of Bee variant names
We will rename the studio
Epic Honey Game
Happy Tuesday 🙂
Good Day, Derrick
BeerrickG?
DerrickBee?
It was right there
Hey Van & Derrick
Any chance of making the twitch drops last a bit longer? 4 days might not be enough
Howdy!
morning folks
Good morning!
Gm Odin
or is it a bee in disguise?
One of many Bees!
A single bee?
Yes, a massive bee
I don't have control over the twitch drop timeframe but I can absolutely share this sentiment as feedback today.
Right
And I guess it's also set already so harder to make changes I suppose
what build you guys are playing this cycle?
I'm planning on going bees
primalist
just a walking, breathing beehive
got a feeling someones gonna find some broken bee build
Yeah, me
I'm going with a fireball spam to proc meteor and frostclaw build I saw on reddit, but adapted for lightning
saw a lot of paladin sugestions but i dont know yet
Aah, that does sound kinda fun 😮
Hmm I just made myself another lawnmower build to test on the new season I'm so excited
Very first time playing LE with bro, gonna roll a warpath void knight and that lightning rampage bear build lol
I'm hopeful for it, we'll see if it can keep up with the mana costs though!
I'm 95% sure I saw one updated for season 4 that cast meteor directly, can't remember if it was on maxroll or lastepochtools though
I'm starting with a Nurgle lich and then I'm gonna build a lawnmower after that I'll probably test a runeboy
There will definitely be a bomber Necro as well since I've made one every season so far
Put some thornshield on those bees
Anyone else still undecided on a build to play?
If I can remember to do that
des francophone par ici ?
Oui mais faut parler anglais ici 😁
Regarde dans #1361743745116016780 il y a quelque serveurs français
Notamment celui de Spiiike
welp a cyclone is going to hit my city this weekend
thats fun
hopefully no power issues
ouf rare les franco dans ce jeux
Please be safe!
Gonna try mixing squirrels and bees !
Do we know if you can still do legendary slamming on LP uniques that are corrupted? or must you always do legendary slam => then corrupt?
Yup. Lots of cool options this patch.
why is there 1.5k plauers only , game dead ?
you cannot. corrupt is a final step
I see. I figured, but wasnt sure since technically it's not crafting to combine legendary and unique 😄
yes, its dead. there is definitely not a new season in 2 days for sure
it's literally at the very very tail end of a season right now. next season starts in 2 days
I keep hopping between like 4 builds across 2 classes in my mind 😄
Why is the new season defiant? 😛
yea
🪦
I was so sure I'll start fire Aura
I changed my mind
Let's see if I change again
you know i make this typo all the time and i am really not sure why
Same actually. I keep jumping between Fire aura => meteor/blackhole => bladestorm shurikens => shadow cascade
I think I might go rogue since I played mage last season
yes you and everyone else
not everyone
everyone
Never said i was original ;D
I've never built a build on my own but I'm looking at this Shattered Lance set and I'm not sure if it's good or not. What are your impressions?
Tsunami changes currently have my heart
Does look juicy
Edit: it makes we wet
It pretty nice yeah
no bees? D:
There's the beeteor mtx, close enough
Maybe as an alt later 😄
now you're us
so how many days away from launch?
2
2
2 many
2
They probably chose that day so they can fix game breaking bugs on Friday and play on the weekend
Smart devs
Just wish it came out a few hours earlier since thursday happens to be my day off (and i live in eu timezone). Now im gonna have to find out a way to play all through the night and stay awake which is getting harder as a 30+ year old
Can't believe they didnt specifically launch around my timezone and my exact lifestyle and work hours
Yeah, launching a season on Friday is scary just in case something happens. Standard for some places or studios
knock on wood
I'm just gunna wait til Friday to play. Don't wanna queue sit on Thursday
I don't think LE has ever had queues
Either that or the wood would be knocking
If you dont mind playing offline, you can do offline mode with 0 queues/lag etc
During 1.0 it would say you're in queue but in reality the service was just straight up not working
I always play CoF and solo, but I can't bring my self to play offline
So it wasn't a queue issue in reality
I play offline since I play ssf hc anyway
Idk why
I don't want my character dying cause of a disconnect
Having no chat and see no people demotivates me to not play, I'd love to play offline for better gameplay but at what cost
For me discord is the social aspect while I just focus on playing the game
I don't recall any queues or lag last season tbf
How could there be ques with so few people playing hue hue
2 more days
Gotta have that checkmark on your planner
Honestly it's probably that, easy to use the planner with online character
whole point of playing on launch is the race
[x] to doubt
X
All of it? the entire point?
I think that the point of playing on launch is to finally get to play new content as soon as it drops, and often share the experience with others who also do
FWIW regular offline mode (e.g. just pick offline from the menus) does still have chat, doesn't address the "want to see other characters" part though
False
play on the weekend with your mom then
I do the same. "maybe I'll want to use an online feature sometime"
I wish i could, but she's more into facebook puzzle games
what race?
i have never heard of such a race. most not be very popular
Did you win Eagles? No? That's what's thought
That's why you never heard of it.
but how can i win if i dont know about it?
i guess i just gotta get good
smh. so ashamed
You don't know about it? Do you even play the game! Smh
i guess i just play it wrong
Does whetstone gavel consider exalteds with set-affixes as exalted for purposes of doubling the stats?
yes
Thanks!
I heard race? Maybe it mean winning the inflation.
Cof players are fine.
CoF players always beat the inflation, because their drops only get better with time
Hey guys, I accidently scheduled a meetup & cinema with an old friend on thursday. Going for steak and then watching Project Hail Mary. I would only come home 5h after season launch.
So, any ideas on what excuse I can use best to cancel the meetup?
Tell them you left a window open at home and don't want any bad omens getting in
Cancel Easy
Technically 48 hours from now
2 DAYS!
here we go
dude i literally watched a video of you 10s ago
YES SIR
and then you post here lmao
I thought discord has a feature where I can see my own timezone
it was meant to be
https://lastepoch.com/ And technically there too.
i was checking out some shatterstrike gameplay, might go for spellblade in S4 :3
we getting p2w class yet or is that next update?
ooo brother
hope it's not more than 10 bucks :c
just glad servers are down for 24hrs, mean I can get all my work done before going ham on this next season, let's go
<t:1774540800:F>
it is neither this update or the next update.
Discord has timestamps, but they are epoch time, so you kinda need an external converter.
or flax capacitor lol
