They didn't used to have weekly maintenance, that was started as a weekly server "reboot" as a temporary measure that THEY STILL DO TO THIS DAY. It's just that always-online games weren't nearly as prevelant and not nearly as many players (outside of HUGE games like WoW). The reason it seems like there's more server problems today is because there's a lot more always-online games now and social media has bred a culture of people always jumping into the hot new game/release/season all at the same time now.

The damage scaling is just a skill repeat at its core, so it's a multiplier (with a chance involved). Single target is something vengeance is good at, so I'm not too concerned. I haven't done a DoT Vengeance before though, so... we'll see, ha.

Too bad discord doesn't have a feature that lets you force users who haven't chatted in 24 hours to agree/accept a pop up message that says "Servers are down". That would save a lot of typing.

Most of the ailments have near infinite number of allowed stacks, so attack speed, and generic damage modifers work with them

Honestly, the best way I personally found to play this game is to make your own build. I pick a mastery I want to play then look over the passive tree and skill tree on the planner on last epoch tools and then establish a theme and go from there
