No, they randomly use lanes. Most probably only one lane. And most probably because the game's driving is coded so that they use one way roads only on one side (because of normal roads).

so my question may seem a little stupid, but i made a city (obviously) and it’s at level 20 and such, ah i planned to leave only dense areas, ah i also put poor and medium businesses, and it has a small area of houses poor and medium, but not to the point of being significant, the city is very rich and works well, I made a residential city to the right of it to provide manpower, I called by road and even the subway but this population does not cooperate with this city, could you explain better how cooperation between cities works?

Are you sure you have tapped on that? Because you can receive 50 diamonds per each friend only if you invite them by tapping on that.

Heightmaps

You want to make a region that resembles a real place? Use heightmaps!

Go to https://tangrams.github.io/heightmapper/ and find your wanted location.
Make sure that the colors are right. Black will become water and white will be hills.
Take a screenshot and change the name [example.jpg].
Put the image in your TheoTown folder, not in the subfolders.
Go to the region generator and and type in the image name [example.jpg].
Enjoy your new custom region!

Are you tired of 4 default regions? You can create a new one! Just go to the Console (you should have Experimental Features mode on) and write help command. There you will see a command for creating a region, where you can configure name, seed, region's size and map's coordinates. Also you can use heightmaps for your region! To find out how to do it and how to write maps coordinates properly, you may visit TheoTown Forum (https://bit.ly/2Zdkdsf).

Also, since 1.8.40 update you can create a region just in game by tapping 'New Region' button in Main menu.
