I feel like this is possible for a more complex mode of transportation like for example Cities Skylines rather than the one in Theo right now. Yeah the game now gives more features for busses and trains but I feel like they're just simply "picks up passengers and they payed" regardless of destination.

Even if I use a circular route in the residential area only, each bus stop will fill up gradually without any differences, same thing with a residential-> commercial -> industry and make it ping-pong as a route back with a single bus/train route.

Maybe I'm off by a lot on that statement so any comments would be nice since I'm simply using them to fill the happiness bar with a little side income (negligible at best but better than nothing), and I still have no idea how to use them freight trains due to there's no export/import of goods even between neighboring cities. (Also, busses and trains can travel to other neighboring cities if you didn't use a single region option... still didn't see how it affect overall quality of the transport for commuters but it's there.)

For me my stations do fill unevenly and there is no transit from indrustrial to commercial bc it is freight and freight doesnt go on busses.
I think a better export/import system may be nice but will probably be difficult to implement(because having to calculate other cities’ demand as well and other things(probably))

Yeah, too much things needed to be done on every respective cities to fully utilize the freight train or even the harbor for an export/import, but there's other things that players can do besides worrying about that (if they didn't suffer any red traffic jams on their city (maybe by reducing the number of vehicles in the settings manually is an option)) like decorating their city! I'm amazed of seeing others making a masterpiece and showcase it as an inspiration.

Do a thing, make another entrance, delete the previous intersection, and connect the main road to it, through a bridge. I know all traffic'd be diverted to it. After the jams start appearing, place an interchange to the intersection you deleted, and connect the bridge to it.

Although you need to wait, but traffic would be easily distributed if place toll booths to the busier road

I don't know if it is possible to make a copy of the region and change the map size to a larger one in that copy, or to make one big one out of several maps.
