Morning everyone. my iPhone 11 (iOS 14.3 RC, unc0ver 6.1.1) cannot be charged via the cable anymore. Worked fine one day, now simply wont work. I can still charge via the wireless charging feature.
I figured out that the cable i charged it with (literally last time i charged it before it started refusing to) is fucked up. As soon as the USB part of the cable gets power the lighning adapter gets very hot very fast, even if not connected to anything....so yeah that probably broke the charging on my phone. Anyways. Got the charging port replaced, and also tested with a different battery. Still wont accept charging via cable.
What are the odd that its the power management chip? Could it also be the mainboard? What else could it be? Also, its draining battery like crazy. Losing like 60% battery over night in airplane mode with all tweaks disabled in icealener...also draining like 250 mAh on idle with no tweaks loaded. Which makes me think the whole power management chip is fucked. But why does wireless charging still work. Any ideas what could have happened?
Also...if i were to get the mainboard replaced, do i run into issues with saved blobs and faceid and that stuff? like when you get your display changed?

Issue persists in non jailbroken state after a clean reboot. Could this still be a software issue after all?

Hey guys! I recently came across my old iPhone SE (1st gen) and figured I'd try and restore and jailbreak it for a project. It never had any issues and was working fine when I upgraded to my current iPhone, but now it's stuck in a boot loop. It goes black after the Apple logo. I've tried every type of restore with absolutely no luck. They typically fail with a 4013 error code. This is presumably because when the iPhone tries to boot to finish the restore process, it can't.
To be clear, I haven't even jailbroken it. I actually tried to use checkra1n to knock it out of the loop, but to no avail.
So my question is, does anyone have any experience with this, and is there a way to diagnose/troubleshoot further? I'm asking here in hopes that there's a hacky way to get more diag info than I currently have (none)

Hello. I just installed Xen HTML from cydia on my checkra1n jailbroken iphone 6s. After i installed it and restarted the springboard, my touch wasnt working at all. I couldnt even turn off the phone. I hard rebooted it and the touch worked but the jailbreak had to be done again and i did it. But the same problem happened again. I read a few articles suggesting to disable it from iCleaner but i didnt have it installed and couldnt sideload it from altstore or cydia impactor either. And i cant remove cydia and every tweak entirely because i had hard rebooted it.

25 days ago, my battery seems to have started to drop in max capacity a lot more rapidly, though. It was at 93 at that point. 5 days later it was already at 91, 10-15 days later and now it's at 89, was 87 at one point, it jumps around. No shutdowns or noticeable slowdowns but it's concerning considering it took months to go down from 100 to 98.
My warranty ends in like 1.5 months should I bring it in?

I am on IPhone XS Max 13.4, I tried going into Unc0ver to RestoreRootFS and stuff, but altstore wouldn’t let me refresh it. So I couldn’t get into it. it kept saying a vortex error and said it was malicious on my computer. And I let it on but it still didn’t refresh. So me being me, restored my iPhone from settings in hopes of removing my jailbreak but it didn’t work. I am using Odyssey jailbreak on iPhone X with 13.5.1, and after updating to 1.4.0, it keeps going into a reboot loop with an Odyssey recovery screen, plus the occasional BSOD. The last time I tried, I was able to manually boot to a non-jailbroken state. So to clarify, I was specifically told to use the OdysseyRa1n after stating I was using an iPhone XR on 13.5.1. When running the checkra1n option, as per the instructions, it states, “Sorry, iPhone XR (iOS 13.5.1) is not supported.” So is there something wrong, as it really SHOULD be supported, but it is having a problem, or was someone just trolling me when I asked for help earlier?

Simple question, but when I am jailbroken, how do I restore RootFS? Do I just need to respring until it is no longer jailbroken, and then do it from there?

Still won't jailbreak for me, I've tried like ten times now, but I will keep trying. It is weird, because when this jailbreak first came out, it only took like two or three tries, maybe not even that many.
Well, got my first BSOD after restoring RootFS, so I guess it didn't help do anything.

Does the "disable OTA stuff" also affect updating through itunes? and does it still have affect even in non jailbroken mode? I was under the impression that it renames the daemon file, thus making it unable to load. So it should still be in play even non jailbroken, shouldnt it?
