I've used copyrighted music a couple times in YT videos. In the upload process, it does a copyright check and tells you if the song is allowed to be used by the copyright holders. Both if my videos it said it was allowed. The holder can choose whether to take the revenue from the video then.

I donβt know about the custom docks specifically, but you could probably use the Source Dock plugin to turn a source INTO a dock. That way the audio from it is already within OBS for capture. And Source Dock gives you Interact functionality for browser sources turned into docks

AMD threw a curveball at everyone by changing it to 9000 series instead of 8000, and to NVIDIA style numbering, and also the 8 -> 7.... Why? Well, my speculation is that they actually want to make the 9070XT a 7 class card with 7 class pricing, so the replacement for the 7700XT and to compete against the 5070 this time. The 7700XT is actually $600 right now, so I would say they have to hit that price or lower, ideally lower, so $550-600... if they are SERIOUS about gaining market share I think probably $550.
So I think that they changed from 8000 series to 9000 series because there are endless "leak" and "bullshit" videos on YouTube telling everyone about the 8800XT and what it is going to be blah blah blah, and online on websites, so if AMD does anything that does not align with what the "leaks" and "rumours" and "expectations" are from that they will look bad. No problem surprise change to 9000 series and invalidate every single video and website leak, and get to repaint what the series will be. Change the model numbering to align with the price targets intended and to pair their card tiers with NVIDIA's card tiers again in 1:1 comparison. 70 class versus 70 class. But also by doing this, lowering the price to be more competitive doesn't lower the price of a tier as well, changing future expectations. It is better for them to have much higher performance at a LOWER tier for the same or lower price than last gen than to have the next tier part number at the same price, in terms of marketing.

Honestly though, I'm not convinced that AMD will give both higher performance and lower prices to be truly in a position to of extra high value to gain market share. Most of the time you can get like a NVIDIA Founder's Edition for say 1000, lets say fictional 4080... but an ASUS Super OC HOLY SHIT Deluxe Edition RGB Mega ROG Strix eXXXTreeme Edition 4070 Ti is like $1100 mega overclocked. It is slower than all 4080s and more expensive than the cheapest 4080. Why would someone buy a higher priced overclocked lower tier card if you can get a regular clocked higher tier card that is substantially faster? I don't understand gamer logic.

Yeah the AMD stock cooler is just fine, especially if someone is buying the entry level 7600. I don't think the 7600X is worth it at all because it is only a few percent faster but substantially higher cost in comparison and does not come with a cooler at all.

I can't think of any other concerns I have, can you think of any? Allegedly some are saying the chip is clocked identical to the 9950X and does not have a 300MHz drop like the 9800X3D does, but I'm extremely skeptical of that.
Because it has 2 CCDs which will have potentially and likely different clock speeds, but the listed processor speed in specs is likely to only list the fastest CCD's top speed.

If the 9950X3D die is clocked the same as the 9950X as has been rumoured, it should boost to 300Mhz higher, which is 5.5% higher single core performance. How much that would translate into particular games as useful will vary from game to game, and resolution etc.

It is VERY possible - especially if the file type changed.

only if the file was saved/changed by the app you opened it with. check last modified date. if game installed via steam/etc, just verify game files, or if a config file, you can often times delete it to get a fresh one. be sure it doesn't contain data you want to save first if that's the case and you just don't want a reset

Man, I'm super tired and want to go to sleep but I've been waiting for CES for months to hear the new announcements. I kind of hope there will be some unexpected surprises this time around as there have been a lot of disappointments as of some of the tech drops in the last few years. Pricing disappointments, Zen 5 base disappointments, everything ever made by Intel in the last several years, etc. 5X3D was a big homerun, hopefully we see some more of those this time around, and they are followed by 3rd party corroboration.
Saw some rumours that there will be both an 8 and 12GB 5060 later this year potentially. I think 8GB GPUs in 2025 are crap unless they're below $200CAD, so seeing better options would be nice for people on the entry level.

I searched Google and found the deets, AMD's AV1 hardware encoder implementation in RDNA3 is broken in hardware itself, with an apology from AMD being embarrassed saying they will fix it in RDNA4. So for any serious actual use, RDNA3 has no hardware AV1 encoder "that works", which is what someone actually needs.

Ah... I think the wording on Johnnie Walker Green confused me into thinking it was single malt. I was 100% wrong. It's blended like all their other stuff, but blended from single malt.
