The alternarive routes are Kind of tricky since we don't want to skip the puzzles, solving puzzles is fun! But i personally hate railroading, so the perfect way to handle this for me is create some interesting scene or a new puzzle that will naturally guide players to the right way, but still letting them be creative and "rewarding" them for it with something fun or maybe some small easter egg

||yeah I agree it needs a number, the beaker is mentioned as the thing you need to mix everything in for the gm but it's never underlined as an item you find and can pick up which was confusing because seems like it's scenery that is not usable then suddenly it's the only thing they can use but they don't have it. I think it can be fixed by saying they pick it up when they check that shelf. There was an awkward moment when all vessels they carry are filled with ingredients so there is nothing to mix things in otherwise and even if they poured it into those if they are stuck to the shelves they can't pick it up and heat it lol ||

You will need the following:

• 1 person taking the role of GM (storyteller);
• Up to 4 persons taking the role of players;
• The GM should have the Manual and the cards;
• As GM your goal is to respond to players' interactions with the environment;
• As player your goal is to solve puzzles and navigate the environment/story.

Adding to this, the game is played verbally. You can use whatever aids you might find necessary. The developers recommend the Discord Whiteboard activity, so you can easely share the cards as GM, and the players can take notes or draw to solve puzzles.

The game can be played online, offline (if you print the required materials), through voice (see The Lab VCs) or through text.

okie dokie, so my initial question is ||can only people enter the memory extraction machine or can you also place in memory cubes to create other cubes such as the blue or golden ones?|| Also, ||there are 4 beds in the bedroom - one for each player, who do you play as, assuming one of them is Rose?|| ||Did Rose make the memory extraction machine or is this a time after Albert was resurrected, and if so, did he make it?|| My other question is, ||are the memory cubes you see floating on the lake, etc the ones made from the machine? Is it that the technology is passed through time so that memory cubes are able to be made in the past?||

Interesting takes, remind me to return to this when coming back around here, but my input regarding the points in order, is this:

• ||As far we have seen, the Machine seems to only extract memories. Or at least the only program the players can find is memory-extraction.exe||;
• ||The number of beds is equal to the number of players. Also, none of them is Rose Vanderboom. The puzzle is solved through her name because the players find her ID in the facility||;
• ||My interpretation is that the players might be parts of Laura, Rose's daughter. In the note, Rose says: All I am doing is for her. Perhaps Rose is trying to bring back Laura, or at least parts of her, in a contained manner||;
• ||I doubt all the cubes in the series are made only through the Machine. It's definetely a method, but not the only one to extract memories, as shown in other titles||.

There's many different instances of the capitalized letters present in the grid, and i don't understand what communicates which one is the correct one (for example the two 'O's that are meant to be associated with 6 and 3, where the first 'O' found in the cypher grid corresponds to 6 indeed but then there are two others that correspond to 8 and 0 before the one that does correspond to 3.
What gives away which ones are the ones we actually want, please?||

I would like to translate the Turkish language in Untold. I am a native speaker of Turkish language and have a C1 level on English. I have neither any translation experince before nor any programing skills. There are some questions I must ask:

1)Do we have to play the game before translation part?

2)Do we need any programing skills?

3)Who do we need to reach for translation?

4)What is the lowest suitable age group for translation?

5)How much time (approximate) does translation progress take?

I ran the adventure the other night with my partner, our friend, and my partner's 2 kids (8 and 10). Initially the intention was just to be with the three adults, but the kids really really enjoyed it.

In fact, I'm looking forward to the next RL Untold adventure with the intention of running it with the kids too. They really loved it. The 8 year old had to touch the camera several times in every room, at which point any time he did, I said "The camera hangs motionless. It watches at you with unnerving determination." and I would repeat it verbatim the same way, every time.. Just like in adventure games you would click on the same item over and over, and the narrator would give you the same response.

The friend was a big fan of the Rusty Lake series (I'm a HUGE fan of the series) and we both thought (as player and game master) that it really REALLY felt like a Rusty Lake game. He came up with answers from his experience with Rusty Lake games, and it felt like he was playing one.

• The players know they just entered the maze from the Bedroom;
• Whenever they enter a "node", describe what they encounter - a cross section, a turn, a two way split. It is up to them to understand from where theybstarted and where to go.||

It is pure exploration. ||They understand that is the vent structure, BUT not where they are in the vent structure, if it makes sense.||

||The rooms also aren't written on the map, only in the GM guide. They are blind as to what room is which initially.||

One more thing, but this is regarding difficulty - ||the players shouldn't really say they want to go to location x. Unless they have difficulty with the map, I ran a game where they had to tell me precisely where they go through turns through nodes. So of they reach a room, I describe it. If they reach the Chamber, then the puzzle ends.||

It do help in some way, but it's more like a translation refrence to me now since there still several terms or phrases that we're not using in the same way.
It's my personal opinion and choice to go with TC, which I think will improve our experience and player's understanding.
