Why can't I play the game online every time I try to join a online lobby it sends me right back to the home screen but if I go to host one then nobody can join me I've gotten rid of mods deleted the game reinstalled the game several times and yet the same problem still exit why is that? All these multiplayer network errors are with the epic servers to host the console community into the game. There are many other people who have ran into those issues today are the same from what me and my friend engaged with yesterday. I had to **refund ** the game due to this reason I replied to.

There isn't a fix yet, so we just need to wait it out for now. Since this is a server optimization issue.

The servers use Epic for cross-play. My issue didn't require cross-play enabled since we are both on steam. Even if the servers are P2P, they require a central database to initialize the connection. Still, it affected access to multiplayer.

Hey everyone; I'm from the mod team on the french server and someone reached out to me with an issue.

According to them, they just bought the game on steam and after install, it's running on an older version, build 56549 (AUG 16 2024). This seems incredibly weird to me, I asked for a screenshot of their steam properties under the "updates" tab and their infos matches mine on the latest build (see screens).

They also of course have no "Betas" branches selected. Any clue what's going on ?

They verified the game files and completely reinstalled multiple times.

Let me state this first: I've had no issues with cross-play on or off. That is all on your connection, the issue my friend just got the game launched it, did the training and the first mission. However, they didn't have access to the multiplayer due to a server connection issue. Currently, we just need to wait on server optimizations.

They either have had pirated version or they used the Steam depot ID to forcibly download it and then forgot about it.
In either case it's up to them to resolve their own mess.

I asked for a screenshot of the steam game page as a pirated version was one of my first intuition, the game is correctly owned on steam and listed in the library, and in the correct steam path.

Hi, i've gotten some question regarding a map, Rust belt Specifically. It has an issue (which has been there since 1.0 Day one (as far as i can remember, i haven't played until recently since late summer 2024).

It has this issue, of when i try loading into it, that i've never actually encountered before. it always had issues loading in, counter goes to 00:01 or 00:00 and it wouldn't load at all. Which was..annoying as it only took a few game restarts with & without mods to get it to run, but now that i deinstalled, reinstalled the game, verified game files and just now unsubscribed from Mod.Io mods, it still has that issue with an added text in the vein of "Modded Maps don't have baked-in world generation data.

I don't know what to do at this point anymore, because i really want to unlock the SWAT '99 BDU without having to use any mods to do so since i've had my fair share of issues with mods and gotten disillusioned with them. It is also the second-to-last map i have to beat to do so.

Does anyone know what i can do to fix the issue? I've been ramming my head against a wall for days now trying to find the cause of this.

hello, does anyone knows if there are compatibility issues with amd rx graphics cards ? I'm running an RX 5700 XT 8gb and shortly after launching RoN, the PC completely shuts down with no signs of overheating or PSU issues, I've ran a health check in a store and every component is running smoothly, everything is updated, I can even run quite heavy games such as CoD, siege, apex and some ghost recon games and they don't make my pc shut down out of nowhere

That I know, but what's still strange is that the achievement doesn't require a specific game mode to complete it, so it seems like that after the update it just bugged out and stopped tracking my progress on single player. My commander save has some officers with some suspect/crowd control traits, so it might be a bit easier redoing the last four in commander anyway.

Probably, there was a initial period where achievements couldn’t be obtained in multiplayer and only in single player, so if you did some in Mp during that period steam has not tracked it properly

Try restarting the game and/or your Steam then relaunch it, if you do not have epic games launcher installed, try installing it (it is not required but some users have reported it fixes issues)

I have cleared by steam download cache, I have reinstalled the game twice on steam. I still get the error that "Game client is out of date" trying to join 3 out of 4 of my friends. Those 3 can join and play with one another just fine, but get that error trying to join me as well.

You would have had to have gone through the manual process of using the steam cmd system to revert to an old game build, so if you don't remember (it's not the most straight forward process) then you probably didn't.

It's up to Steam to push updates, if it isn't in the downloads tab, then it is something with Steam not pushing it. SteamDB is the only honest answer besides you potentially using a pirated copy.

There is no known bug in current Steam client that would do this, no way to stop updating the game unless you are in Offline mode which would also mean they wouldn't be connected and visible in friend list, etc.

Here's a bunch of things you can make sure of:

• Let them verify game files in Steam

• Let them post screenshot of their Downloading page in Steam client (download in progress, error messages, etc.)

How am I wasting anyone’s time? I’ve already explained that my PC exceeds the game’s system requirements, and I’m well aware of the importance of having the right specs. I’ve done extensive troubleshooting on my own searched through YouTube, Reddit, and other resources, and tried every solution I could find. I even tested the game on two different computers and had the same issue both times. At this point, it’s pretty clear the problem isn’t on my end, but on the game’s side.

Just to be clear, I was never trying to be rude. I simply didn’t want to keep repeating my specs when I know they’re not the cause of the problem. I've already refunded the game because a 50$ game shouldn't require this amount of extensive fixes just to play the game. Quick update on the problems friends and I had with game client out of date.

We were using some PAK files from Nexus mods that we had used for years. Turns out while they were updated and work fine for the latest update, if you don’t put the mod files in their own folder, but simply put them in the default PAK content folder, it forces the client to revert to an earlier game version. Placing them in a folder titled “MODS” on their own solves this and game launches in the latest version.

Was it the fault of UE editor when my RAM decided to start having a fault after the PC was on for a couple hours? No. It just used a lot of RAM. Different things have different computational loads, which can expose a particular issue you are having, that's just how it is.

After a recent crash, I restarted Ready or Not and discovered that all my progress had been completely reset. I had almost every map completed on Hard with an S-rank, except for Three-letter Triad, and Relapse. I had also unlocked every available item, including the Developer’s Broken Watch.

Following the crash, all of my presets, saved loadouts, and unlocked customization options were wiped. Everything I had earned in terms of gear and progression is now gone. However, my career insight (the new feature added in the recent console update) is still intact, and I still have all of my Steam achievements, which confirm my prior progress.

It seems like my save file or profile may have been reset or corrupted. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in recovering my progress.

Hi so I have a Problem. The last time me (ps5) and my friend (steam) played together he didn’t had to press a button to talk to me all the time. He just talked with openmic and proximity voice channel. Today it doesn’t work anymore and he has to use push to talk and can’t change it. Is there a setting he has to toggle or something like that ?

Unable to connect to game,

Somehow all of a sudden only two people in the group can join the session and whoever the remaining two are getting unable to connect.

We have tried mac resets but nothing.. anyone able to help (crossplay is on and epic logged in)

Didn't work, its weird as we was all able to play and all of a sudden yesterday it stopped working

Mine we’re progressing as well, but both are now stuck at around 80%. They’re the last 2 achievements I need and I’ve S ranked all the missions both in multiplayer and commander mode. So unless there’s another hidden requirement for them I’m at a loss.
