ig that does seem a little low, but not by too much tbh. If ur using mods use this guide to remove em and verify game files #❓modding-faq message. Turn on dlss if u want, turn off any overlays like nvidia, steelseries etc, make sure ur drivers are up to date etc, turn off any non windows anti virus, and you could also do a fresh install if you want.

windows defender is usually fine, it's third parties like avast that have issues. idk what else to suggest. If it's ur first time playing the maps will take a little bit to generate cache, so it might be a little lower at first.

On Steam (and mostly only on this platform), a good rule of thumb is to have at the very least the same amount of disk space free as your largest game currently occupies.
So if you have Stalker 2, the minimum free disk space you need is 180GB to patch the game correctly, or even more depending on if Steam has safety margins.

If you do not have at least 61.71 GiB or more free disk space for Ready Or not, Steam may not be able to apply the patch regardless of its size (for all Steam cares it can be 5MB of actually changed data).

However, is there a way to run the game at fullscreen windowed without it reverting to my monitor's native resolution (3840 x 2160)? It's reported on a month or 2 old driver (566.36) but it did sort of appear around the time the Blackwell driver released.

If you have the game installed for several years, you might want to completely remove all game data as there were few re-packaging happening which resulted in some users having like 100+GB on disk unintentionally.

Other than that, do you have multiple Steam Libraries active across several disks ?
Have you cleared download cache ?

So the minimum specs for the game say Processor: Intel Core i5-4430 / AMD FX-6300, Memory: 8 GB RAM, Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 2GB / AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB but I have a Ryzen 7, 16 gigs of DDR5 and an RTX3050 laptop and the most this game can play at (low settings, 75% sampling) is 17fps

If you are using DX12, it loads the map before you are able to play, it can take a bit first few times.

It also has to redo it each time you change settings or update your drivers.

Can anyone let me know if constant crashing is a game issue? Ive got up to date drivers, overlay is off, verified files, renamed the file to backup, I have no issue running it when it doesn't crash so I can't see how it would be a hardware issue and not a game issue, I checked the hardware requirements, and they are either on the minimum or above the minimum tier, it doesn't matter which level, hell I get crashes even at headquarters. If so, open the run app, search %localappdata%, go to ReadyOrNot, and delete the Saved folder then verify again. If you wanna keep ur game progress make a backup of the stuff in SaveGames.

We have a problem during multiplayer play sessions with the mission briefing\pda:

• Some people - after having the pda full screen with holding tab - cannot interact with the PDA at all, like they doesnt have a cursor. Therefore they cannot hear the briefing. They are NOT the host, but the person who gets this bug frequently alters.
• Sometimes when the host opens its PDA, the briefing starts immediatly, for everyone synced. If he stops it, we cannot retrigger the synced briefing start.
  Any advice how to workaround it?

Im getting the crash problem still. I have tried this (above). I am running on a 9800x3d CPU, 7900 XT GPU, and am running on Arch linux running the game on protonhotfix. Yes there's been plenty out there that have had this issue but there's no way to fix it or get them back after it happens the only thing to do is to redo everything and/or download a 100% save from nexusmods. Regardless of what you do I recommend backing up your saves in the future as to be able to use those were this to happen again.

Hello, I was trying to play this game with my friends and I'm running into an issue where when I load the game it displays the Void Interactive Logo for a few seconds and then freezes and crashes. No Error report upon Crash.

Stats: GPU RTX 3080, CPU AMD Ryzen 9 5800, 32Gigs Ram, 144hz screen, 1tb disk space
The game works normal most of the time but ever since i bought the Home Invasion DLC and tried the first mission the game crashes. Crashes are somewhat normal but i cant beat Dorms since the game always crashes in or around the main room on the ground floor.
Ive had similar problems with other missions but was able to beat them eventually. As of now im playing the game on DX11 since perfomance significantly degrades on DX12 (also on other games i play). Ive never ran any mods and verified the game files countless of times. Ive cleared the gpu cache, installed all drivers but it always crashes in this mission

I spent 10 bucks on that dlc and want to be able to play it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello again guys. My friend gave up and used the laptop for ready or not. After freshly downloading RoN from Steam we get into a private lobby and hes also gonna get disconnected after 5minutes of gameplay.
So the game is clean installed, ports are free same goes for firewall on RoN.
Connection is fine with 140Mbps. Were acually clueless and it tilts us both that we cant play together. Other lobbies also dont work for him.

I am wondering how the game handles sounds prefix and lets say missionstart_somenumber? does prefix have to be fully completed in order to continue to missionstart? If I were to change prefix sound file with a modded one, do I need to keep the lenght exact or do I have wiggle room with the durations?

So I've been playing the game for a couple of hours, did the first 2 missions
The gas station and the GPU mining farm
I tried installing a mod inside the game which unlocks every customization
It told me to restart, which I did.
It didn't reopen, crashed and then I had to wipe the mods to open it. Which I think wiped my progress, had to do it again. Now even though I am done with the first 2 missions, I can't see "Twisted Nerve" anywhere on the briefing room. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Disabling a HW device like that has other implications beyond the game not being able to render on it.
UE is quite resilient towards starting on iGPUs when another GPU with higher levels of DX support is detected, you basically have to force it to render on iGPU in most cases.

Dunno if it's been reported before, but I was playing multiplayer before my game decided to crash with the "can no longer render" message. After closing and reopening the game, all of my progress had been wiped, including the maps I've cleared, the accessories I got, and all my preset outfits. All the mods I was running were seemingly clean, and half of them weren't even being used at the time of the crash.

This is obviously pretty disheartening, seeing as how I lost nearly 50 hours worth of progress to what seemed like a simple crash, and I don't have any clue as to why it cleared ALL of my progress.

Gonna try redownloading to see if that'll fix something, and I'm hoping that it does.

Update: After reinstalling, my progress is still gone. In Commander Mode, I still have on my gear before the wipe. Even looking at the missions list, it says “Unresolved” for Thank You, Come Again. Which I’ve already completed in Commander Mode.

If they give a different error it could be helpful, but for the one you sent it's quite a generic EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

A few other things to try would be making sure you're on fullscreen, capping fps, turning settings down, installing newest c++ package.
If nothing works make a post in #1265712033295372473, and put ur specs and what you've already tried so someone with more know-how can have a go.

Is there actually any way to increase fps in this game. I've tried everything and nothing seems to ever give me more fps. I've deleted saved data, messed with graphic settings and even benchmarked everthing and even reinstalled the game. I'm averaging around 48 fps on all maps except the gas station map.
Some levels have higher fps like the gas station one but I've looked up fixes by everyone, tried them all, and alas nothing works. FSR and DLSS don't even help with fps at all. I'm only running 1080p and my fps since UE5 update was cut in half. Also pulling the mirrorgun out literally drops fps by 20-30 fps!

Weirdly enough, playing solo in a friends only lobby actually gives me more fps but I guess that makes sense.

I have a benchmark file starting from 04-09-2024 to today and fps have never gotten better no matter what gets changed.

3050 is a low-end but it should be able to run this game with reasonable video settings, the sole exception might be the 3 Dark Waters maps.

If you are playing in DX12 it will compile shaders on loading screens.
So if the behavior is replicable in Safe Mode (which runs in DX12 but without mods) it's just that and you have to show some patience.

Hello, I'm having some issues I previously didn't have. I'm getting low GPU usage with a 4090 and low FPS. Frames were great prior to dark waters. Now I'm getting 60fps in certain maps whereas before I was locked in at 120 FPS in UEVR mod. CPU is 7900x @ 5.6. RAM is 32 gig of ddr5 at 5.6. I've tried all of the obvious solutions online. There's aren't any cores that are over 50%. Any ideas?

Well your problem is a strange one if it were the case that you were hosting and your friends would get kicked out of your game when joining then I could say it's probably a mod that adds weapons or attachments causing the issue but you've said that you joining your friends meaning someone else is hosting and not you and yet it still kicks both of them which usually if a mod is gonna kick people it'll be on the host's end so I couldn't really tell you the issue my best advice would be to try and slowly take out mods to find the problem one.

Though you could see if you haven't already tried if you or someone else hosting will make any difference.

Well remove the 125 slot mod like AspidZeus said. You only need Gunfighter AIO file as that includes everything the other separated files have. You should only select one version of the better vest remastered mod they're just different versions of the same mod. You seem to have two AI mods so remove one of them since you're playing with friends remove the singleplayerRoleplay file.

How's the game's own frame gen for people in need of it?

Is there much latency? My fps can soar anywhere from 140fps down to about 60 at times, I'm just wanting some consistent frames without the dips

If I turn down settings I don't necessarily get a boost in frames and instead my GPU drops from like 70% to 30% in its utilisation

There is always going to be a latency penalty for generating fake frames since it's not magic.

If you have framerate drops it will not stop happening with fake frames, the only difference will be that the FPS counter will be higher.

I was having this issue. But not with the S stuff. I wasn’t unlocking levels because you need to make sure you complete every objective. I believe you need the soft ones too in order to unlock the next map

when i install any mod no matter which one it is. And I restart my game it gives me a notification asking do I want to delete all of the mods or not but I have no choice it forces me to choose yes then it deletes my mods

Your error log doesn't tell me anything, if it has been happening for a year, it is something unspecific on your end. Try going through the generic steps: remove mods #❓modding-faq (double check), verrify your game files, whitelist/unquarantine RoN, update your graphic drivers, etc.

Okay let me try to tell you more about it. I can perfectly start my game and play the missions, but when I try to custimze my looks, guns etc. my game randomly crashes after I changed a few things. I sended a crashcontext in if it helps you with anything.

Try resetting your loadout to the default and play, but I do not notice anything specific

I already tried deleting mods, playing safe mode, reinstalled, changed the launch type, administration mode, compability mode, lowered graphics and window mode, closing all apps in background. I have tried everything I saw in reddit, youtube and what other people told me to fix this curse.

I don't have anything else to add, it sounds like a hardware issue with your processor, I believe i've seen a handful of other users reporting it but I do not remember anything conclusive.

Looks like you have a corrupted loadout. If I remember correctly there should be a file in appdata somewhere to nuke it unless im misremembering

Anyone else have an issue where you can’t play with a friend? We’ve launched safe mode, and redownloaded the entire game. It let us play a round of thank you come again, then we tried dark waters and are back at the glitch where he can’t join
