One thing I like to do in my RoN gameplays is I kinda give all my SWAT Officers basic loadouts and uniforms and when they gain their traits I give that one officer a special weapon different from the basic ones I give to others and kinda a different uniform based on the mission he gained his trait from

READY OR NOT NEEDS AN MMO-STYLE RAID.

Imagine it, like a terrorist cell has infiltrated a highly important political building. You have to slowly move through that building and it will progressively get harder and harder, maybe even with some puzzles if VOID can find a way to put a "realistic" spin on them. There would have to be resupply points of some kind. The ending would be a boss fight with maybe a few MW2 juggernauts or something. Idk it's just something that popped into my head and it sounds really cool in theory

The only problem I'd imagine would be the lack of possibility for a reward that most other games with raids typically provide

The more I think about it, Multiplayer could work with suspects vs suspects as the weapon choice could be more limited but more balanced. Plus each suspect would have their own playstyle like Meth Heads or Drug Dealers being very aggressive while Private Agents, Retired Military Men and Russian Mafias can go tactical

And the multiplayer can be the gamemode where people wants to gun down anything that moves while single/coop mode is where people should bring order to chaos

The home invasion DLC has only just 3 missions, at least, 4-5 or 5-6 wanted. So many ideas that happened in real life not seen, not seeing a bank heist like the one that really happened that actually prompted Law enforcement to think of opting more for rifle cal weapons. Also need more effect with lethal weapons where you can disable suspects or even try to shoot their weapon out of their hands and shoot them in the legs etc, more non kill methods with lethal loadout. I also hope there is more DLC and level refinements.

go loading bay, then travel through swimming pool area, watch the outside and travel to the staircase of the left of swimming pool area, then flash the lobby and stack your squad on doorway to fire any resisting suspects, and if 2-3 come out later, just use a stinger launcher

Rest is mostly rooms, you need to peek and check for traps, easy way to check is peek door and see if "disarm trap" comes as a command when you aim at door. If it doesn't, then there is no trap. Works for both traps on the other side as well as traps on the same side of door you are stacked up on.

You can fire and still be allowed to get both achievements and the watch, but make sure no officer either dies or get resigned due to mental health crisis

Hmm, okay. A following question then as I had just started my savefile. Is there any way to rotate possible recruits if their traits aren't good so that I can avoid firing anyone? From what I have experienced the game keeps the same 3 possible recruits until you choose one so I'm looking for a workaround on that without firing every mission

It just matter of luck and basically the selection will be the same as long it is on the save file

So it's best to get great Ai before attending Twisted Nerve aka a first road block for newbies

And then basically grind for their specials with S Ranking "Thank You, Come Again"

I'm well versed in the game already having gotten S rank on alll missions and done hard mode on everything as well. I'm looking to get an armorer, nutritionist, pacifier and negotiator right at the start pretty much, and then for the final mission have 2 veterans, an armorer and a nutritionist

I don't want to void the trophy by firing my officers. It's nowhere in any guides specified that firing is or isn't allowed so I needed confirmation of any kind

Standard isn’t too bad. The big hurdle for getting a good score is arresting the fisa agent. Clear the main lobby, then rather than going into the warehouse , go left and head outside and around. Or you can enter the warehouse, turn left and head upstairs to the office. No matter what you do the warehouse room with conveyor belts is gonna suck, so the best bet is picking a route that allows you to pick off as many as you can before walking in fully and getting Swiss cheesed.

9mm and 45 are kinda useless against l3 plates found on most maps
and the decision between long and short just depends on how close you wanna be able to be from a wall before you gun get forced into high ready from being too long

and this goes for all of your officers too

if you want the least complicated option then it's just any of the short barreled rifles but of course you can spice it up with like a 308 or an SMG or shotgun or what not

The difference between guns is pretty minute apart from what kind of gun it is (smg, rifle or shotgun) and calibre the ammo is
Use what you want dont try and min max

Some rifles shoot big bullet that will put people down in a few shots but they tend to have higher recoil

I recommend arn-180 with JHP ammo, lowest recoil and 750 RoF, down any suspect in 2 body shots. Switch to AP ammo only on Elephant, Sins of the Father and Leviathan maps

For armor take ballistic mask (better version of standart helmet) and heavy vest with full coverage ceramic (15% acceleration penalty) or steel (54% penalty), tho it's much better in Commander mode with armorer trait

There are, but the crash log is sometimes not going to pop up, so you won't get it. Your best bet is to remove mods one by one to figure out whats the cause

That is not the game's problem though, the game runs perfectly fine without mods. Adding mods is the users responsibility to check for game compatibility

Game updates are an unfortunate by-product of mods breaking, and this is not isolated to Ready or Not. Practically every game that relies on modding will have these issues if they receive consecutive updates or patches. Take a look at how GTA for example is relaint on mods down the line, and with each patch the rageplugin hook which is responsible for loading plugins and mods won't work until the RPH developers update it for the next version, and then all the mod creators have to follow too

There are logs, but if the game crashes abruptly, the crash log may not have enough time to log it properly, preventing it from creating the log

This game like many other games will open a crashlog and you can choose whether you want to discard it, save it or send it somewhere. But as I said sometimes it won't show up, in any case you do not need a degree on rocket science to figure out what crashed your game, looking at what the mod does, when it was updated you can figure out easily if the mod is contradicting with some other mod, or if it is just outdated

Yeah but those crashlogs still provide you with basic troubleshooting information, they can point out if the cause of an issue are mods or something you did on your end, like somehow launching the game in DX11 and DX12 at the same time

don't you have like 13 minutes before the bombs go off how does it take that long for you to clear a single floor

also btw there is 4 suspects total

literally just run though the map as fast as possible. Check a room, no suspect? then run to the next room and take out the suspects as you find them and ignore the Civi's and by the time you've found all 4 you should have seen where the 2 bombs are because you've explored most of the map

plus it's only like 2 minutes before suspects start shooting civies so for a high rank you need to BOLT

easiest method is just taking the m320 flash launcher tactical (asuming you don't have the m32a1 primary launcher) although the breaching shotgun/ram is also handy to get through locked doors to get you around faster since if you're going for all civies alive you need to be perfect
and don't bother being tactical or commanding your team they're too slow

also there's only 2 bombs

I’m hoping it’s more ‘hostage situation’ type of map/scenario
if they added a bank heist where the thieves take hostages, and the mission is not only to rescue but stop the bad guys from escaping…
Or a riot on a street, trying to assist police in putting down the riot and arrest as many possible…

Or maybe just a good ol’ fashioned raid on a drug den 😎

Some of the 7.62 rifles might help with armor and what not, the trade off is most of em have twenty rounds, gotta place ur shots

Now I think it’s kinda funny that there is a “stab vest” since I’ve been stabbed by crack heads and meth heads in this game so many times lol

SMGs are really good overall, I'd say my favorite is the Ump45 based on looks.

but you could easily argue that something like MP7 or P90 is best.

Officers will always be stressed no matter how you do it in Elephant. It's because it's a Active Shooter event where you MUST prioritize suspects FIRST

The amount of slots you get depend on your armour class
Stab vest gives you the most at the cost of like all protection lol
Heavy gives you the least for more protection

The plating in the armour effects survivability and movement acceleration. Top speed is always the same its just how fast you start moving

Ceramic is probably the best armour tho
