It's supposed to be "rock and stone of its cavernous homes." As for the quality being lesser, well, I'm open to a suggestion, but it's just a sad fact that some of my stuff will be lesser just by sheer volume.

I know Izik's going mostly in Alphabetical order, but I like going through the Dex Grid and 'filling' out entries from lines that have most but not all done!

While usually moving slowly and steadily to conserve energy, POKENAME have the ability to run suddenly at high speeds. Rarely do they ever seem to tire. They prefer a diet high in protein and fat.

The eye-like indents at the top of its skull do not actually allow POKENAME to see, but they will glow when POKENAME uses some Moves, such as Metal Burst. It will constantly seek out ore to devour.

While it cannot fly very well, POKENAME has the ability to climb on nearly any surface in the jungle. From the treetops it spreads toxic spores while it feasts on leaves.

It is best known for appearing in a popular children's book where one acts as an evil lord that oversees a spooky manor. Ironically, actual POKENAME are kind and prefer urban areas, where they use the flame inside their head to light dim streets.

POKENAME roam around old gravesites, licking everything in the area, from gravestones to nearby trees and even the dirt it walks on. If someone is licked by their waxy tongue, the victim will feel deeply and unnaturally unsettled, even its Trainer.

POKENAME get dirt and seeds stuck in their wings from sleeping in underground nests. The seeds that fall out of their wings as they fly go on to become especially hardy plants.

So we actually spent about an hour in total during the contest reviewing one entry that had an improper placement/usage of "as", so I feel like this is a good example of why it can help to be aware of what we learned the hard way lol.

"As" is most often used as a preposition (describing when or where something happens) to describe things that happen simultaneously (Singing as you walk, yawning as you stretch, etc)

So on a technical level, this implies that they are attempting to change the environment while their sandstorms are already running, not that the sandstorms are how they are attempting it. My suggested edit would be to make it "by reducing humidity, using their fiery sandstorms to evaporate the water faster than normal" or something similar.

This looks good except for the very end, where you say "The duels they are subject to." Duels implies a challenge or official battle, but "subject to" implies they were forced upon them.

Official Dexdoku summary:

Dexdoku is an event based on promoting Custom Dex Entries and showcasing existing sprites.

On the outside of the grid are the categories of Pokemon. Find a sprite in a Sprite Pack or on Infinite Dex that matches both categories and write a Custom Pokedex Entry for it.

Entries for Dexdoku must follow the rules of any other Custom Pokedex Entry, which are listed in the #dex-entries-submissions channel along with the link to both the submission form and the corresponding spreadsheet that contains common questions, entries already in the game, or lists/guides to which Pokemon still need entries.

Entries will be judged by concept and creativity. Some suggestions of what makes a good entry is considering how the species would function in their environment, some unique combination of two key traits, or building off of details of the sprites that you chose.

There is a two-week window from the start of the event until the results. Dexdoku will run from Friday to Friday, with the Tuesday before the last day being the cut-off for new submissions to allow for at least two and a half days focused solely on revisions.

Entries with revisions will not be docked any points, as revising and reviewing Custom Pokedex Entries is part of the process for Unowns like myself and it is ultimately up to the writer to follow through and produce results from said reviews. Reviews and revisions will be available throughout the full duration of the event, with the final three days ensuring everyone is happy with their entries.

Also, as Dexdoku is now in official collaboration with Spritedoku, we will be sharing templates, with Spritedoku Templates becoming Dexdoku Templates once the corresponding Sprite Pack is released.

The prize for Dexdoku is having an official grid (that I will make for you, you can focus on your entries if that helps) posted next to the template in the results as well as the chance to request a Custom Pokedex Entry for me to write.

It was a last-minute add-on to my typing, and it wouldn't be the first time commas caused me problems. Won't be the last either.

Though docile by nature, POKENAME is not meant to be trifled with. If agitated, the bulb on its shell can erupt a stream of spores like a geyser, covering a large radius and causing all manner of symptoms.

Referencing non-IF Pokémon is also OK, we just prefer IF mons. If we just needed to reference some mothlike Pokémon in general, we'd probably want to do Venomoth, but in this case there isn't a reasonable substitute for Frosmoth.

I like the idea, but this is a semi-common error with this structure of entry, once you clarify something beyond the appearance (in this case, the "blanket" being excess skin), you should refer to it based on what you clarified it to be, not what you described as its appearance.

So Dex Entries for Oshawott refer back to the scalchop.

In writing a dex entry for a fusion, especially one you intend to have a difference between appearance and function, it is up to you to set the language and key terms within that fusion's lore, as if you were using a made-up specific word like scalchop.

Does that make sense?

Just because the word "Actually" is what might cause it to read as like "This isn't really a blanket"
