I had a technician Scyther fused with klink and the unfused it and fused it with a piplup, then used a metal coat to evolve scyther

It left me with a scizor prinplup that was learning gear grind from the move tutor and none of prinplup's moves. I unfused to try and fix it, and now no matter what i fuse or try the scizor has swarm and won't go back to technician

The move thing is a known bug. It's not a very high priority at the moment. If you need moves from piplup you should be able to learn them via tm / tutor iirc, or unfuse it and try that way

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, you can either download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID) or use the alt download (mentioned at the bottom of this message)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type ?tag altdownload in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

before you beat the league, you only have access to a small section of Johto- specifically, Goldenrod and the immediately surrounding area

AFTER you beat the league, you can explore- but you have to go south from Goldenrod and work your way around the long way. The sudowoodo blocking the path on route 36 can only be removed after you've visited the last of the three sides it's accessible from.

They can also be bought from the Silph Co. Lobby for 11,000$ if you saved 7 or more employees, or 8,000$ if you saved all the employees!

To use Exp Share, give it to a Pokémon to hold. That Pokémon will now gain XP without needing to participate in battle.

Exp Share will NOT stack with Exp All.

Hey! Are you having a hard time getting into the Hidden Forest or Viridian River, or are you looking for extra starters? After getting to Celadon, you can enter it from Route 16!

From the Hidden Forest, you can then enter the Viridian River where depending which tile you enter from, you will find different sets of starters as an overworld encounter. You'll hear a sound cue if an overworld encounter spawns when you enter the area.

Hey @terse citrus! Are you looking for the Exp Share? You can get it in the Cerulean Pokémon Center from Professor Oak's Aide once you've fused at least 5 Pokémon. They can also be bought from the Silph Co. Lobby for 11,000$ if you saved 7 or more employees, or 8,000$ if you saved all the employees!

To use Exp Share, give it to a Pokémon to hold. That Pokémon will now gain XP without needing to participate in battle.

Exp Share will NOT stack with Exp All.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

Hey @hexed escarp! Are you looking for Cut? The Cut HM is given to you by the captain of the S.S Anne! You can get an S.S Anne ticket from Bill at the end of Cerulean Cape, which is north of Cerulean. You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne.

If you want to know where the replacement item is, ask "Where to find the Shears"

How exactly does the PokeRadar work? I'm using it while standing in grass. The quest giver says I should be able to encounter a Buneary when using it since I've encountered all other Pokemon the the route, but all I see is shaking grass. How do I know if it's Buneary?

Hey @grand girder! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, you can either download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID) or use the alt download (mentioned at the bottom of this message)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type ?tag altdownload in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)
